Only good thing about this place was the female staff. I should have checked the rating and description better before I booked it. Room smells, towel very very dirty with stains, no hair dryer rentals, and u less youg et the superior room, you do not get a fridge and a microwave.

Great staff! I had no problem finding a parking space. We were in town to attend a sporting event at Wings arena and spent little time in the room. We never used the Wi-Fi at all.

Cheryl/Sheryl at the front desk was friendly and helpful, otherwise this rating would be all 1 star. The property is in terrible condition. We were in town for an event and had no other options. It was so filthy and smelly that I had to purchase an expensive air purifier just to make the situation tolerable.

1st room reeked of pot and cigarettes. Second room smelled like a bucket of dirty water with a wet dirty mop. Killed 2 roaches right off killed 2 more in middle of night. Shower water was cold, no shower. Tv kept coming and going. I have worked in trucking and stayed in some sketchy places but this was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Would recommend to my worst enemy. I wouldn’t even list them in Expedia.

At check-in, staff was having conversations with each other about other staff members and paid little attention to me, almost like I was an intrusion. They never greeted me and kept talking down about other staff members the whole time I was checking in. I didn't feel welcome at all.

Rooms were adequate, about what you would expect for the amount paid. Run-down, mauled furniture, slight smell of Lysol trying to cover up the pet stench.

Parking lot was a disgrace -- very icy and not salted. We almost slipped and fell trying to get across the parking lot to our room. A pretty serious safety issue and lawsuits just waiting to happen.

The bathroom was crawling with roaches big ones baby ones totally disgusting and because of that I couldn't bring my stuff in my room I had to leave it in my car I'm disabled and it's not easy for me to go in and out of the room once I'm in and I'm sure nobody's going to do anything about it or even answer me about it so whatever

The rooms and beds are not well maintained. It was very disappointing to stay there. We couldn’t find any other properties nearby since we were traveling to Michigan, and this place was near the highway, which is why we booked it. However, the rooms were not clean. One of the rooms they gave us had cockroaches in the bathroom. After we complained, they allocated another room, but even that room was not clean—the beds were poorly maintained, and the floor was very dirty.

We had to go to 3 different rooms. First room a live mouse ran right by feet when i was sitting on my bed.

Second room we had trouble with door lock.

Third i was having a very stressful day. I locked myself out of the third room after being their 10 days. They knew who i was. I went to office to ask for trash bags and complain about the housekeeping. The dude at front desk was black. He has no authority as upper mgmt. Was on a power trip.

So i told him i was locked out, he asked me for my i.d. to give me a room key. How am i supposed to do that when my i.d. was licked in room? Then he asked me my address on my d.l. which i couldnt remember because i was so upset and mad at him for hassling me about it. So, he was talking over me. So i told him to shut up and called him the N word.
Yes, i was wrong in doing that and i apologized. My son was gone and i was about to have a heart attack(meds forthat in my locked room) on top of a major anxiety attack.
So the little Hindu dark skinned mgr told me to leave in an hour. Im 66 yrs old and disabled. I can only walk about 150 feet without my hips and legs hurting.
My son was on his way back and then he yelled and screamed at me for getting us kicked out. We had no transportation and $50.
But.....
There were escorts, prostitutes, and all kinds of drugs going on and they let it go on. It was the worst experience ive ever had in any liw budget or luxury hotel.

So so dirty someone left socks behind the door and they were still there after they clean the room before our arrival, blood and burn hole in all the sheets and blankets, went to the front to ask for different ones and front desk guy said it’s a red roof inn what you expect. Also I know at least two neighbors live there full time which is just terrible

You get what you pay for and here its not much.

I arrived at Red Roof Inn and the staff was fantastic they were super friendly and very concise in everything I needed to know. That being said that's where the positive experience ends, the outside was filled with drug users actively smoking pot and doing more than that, there were busted bottles all over the place. And that's before even getting in the room. Upon entering the room I noticed that the floor sounded like it was making a scratching noise that's because there was sand and dust all over it and then upon trying to take a shower I realized that there was mold and a slimy film all over the shower curtain. The towels were Staind as were the bed sheets. Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that it was so inexpensive and I needed a place to crash as I was on my way to Toronto I would have left. It was disgusting and I feel dirty here now then before I took a shower.

The entire place smelled awful. Had to sign a waiver about smoking yet the entire place wreaked of smoke. My entire bag of clothing including the bag will have to be washed due to the smell of this place. The walls looked like they were falling apart. Nothing appeared clean including the linens. I would never suggest this place to anyone.

The staff was nice, my room was changed due to the structural damage to the bathroom. Then the second room was dirty. The sheets and bed were stained. I have been driving from Florida and didn’t expect this. I’ve stayed at a red roof before and my experience was amazing. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t. From someone who’s withered from traveling. Very disappointing and sad. I had to sleep in my car at a truck stop.

Very old property not well cut up not very safe

The man at the front desk was very nice unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about this property. I have stayed here in the past and even though it was a very no-frills hotel it was kept up well and was clean. It has taken a downhill turn since I had last stayed there two years ago the blanket was stained there was make up on the towels the walls were cracked. The shower curtain was d lrty even the switches on the lamps, and the faucet were rusty around the metal edges. It was very disappointing I also felt very unsafe. There were parties in the parking lot and someone knocked on my door at 3 AM.
I do appreciate that they don’t have a pet fee and it was very convenient to where I was in the town, but I will not be able to stay here again.

The location was very close to an event i was attending for my grandson. The price was reasonable.
The slip stripes in the bathtub , might need replacing. My husband and i noticed the tub was a bit slippery. Also 2 or 3 of the stations you offered on the tv were very pixilated so you couldn't watch the programs. Not sure if it was the stations or service. Might check on that.

This is the third time I have stayed at this location. I thought maybe it was just by random chance of the noise level the 1st 2 times. The room next to me once again with yelling kids and dad and they had to have their tv volume up to where I could hear it as though it were in my own room until past 3 in the morning. Tried to call the front desk and even the phone in my room didn't work. Their price was relatively good compared to other locations near by but next time I am just going to have to pay more somewhere else.

For the price we paid of $71 a night for a double bed it was ok. There were stains and holes in the sheets and blankets but there were NO bugs. Very noisy in the mornings with people leaving at 5am with the walls being so thin. Our light sensor was broken so our light came on automatically every hour during the night. There are people tweaking out in the parking lot. Day and night. Again ok for the price but be cautious.

My stay at the hotel would have been satisfactory if it weren't for the disturbance caused by neighboring guests. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between rooms was poor, and I was kept awake by loud conversations and drinking outside. I understand that this was not directly the hotel's fault, and I appreciate the prompt response from management when I called the front desk. They sent someone to address the situation, and while the noise subsided for a brief period, it soon resumed. Sadly, I wasn’t able to get the rest I needed before a long drive the next day. It was an unfortunate experience, but I recognize it was mostly due to the behavior of other guests.

This Red Roof fell below the standards set by the RRs newly renovated in the South. Perhaps it was once as shown in the website photos but needs renovations quickly.
There were issues with our room but the desk clerk promised to have maintenance address them all.
Time will tell
I must say it was a step up from the Baymont down the street

The first room we got was dirty. Pop bottles and trash all over. There were homeless people living in the woods right next to the hotel. I was scared to walk alone any time during the day or night. It smelled like human feces and rotting food. People were outside playing music all hours of the night. People sleeping in their cars. When I brought this to the staffs attention, they did nothing.
