Poor service related to car alarm at night.

I checked into the hotel and discovered a vehicle below my room with an alarm going off. I informed the hotel who mentioned that the alarm had been going off for a whole day. Despite this, no action was taken.

I requested to move rooms due to the noise disturbance. Initially, I was told that I couldn’t be moved to a different class of room due to booking through Hotels.com. After further discussion, I was eventually moved to a quieter room.

The noise disturbance was not addressed promptly, impacting the quiet enjoyment of the stay. The process of changing rooms was more difficult than expected.

We were visiting family in a small town nearby that has no lodging accommodations. This was an excellent option. Friendly and welcoming staff and very clean and comfortable rooms. If you have extra time there’s lots of shopping and eating within walking distance. We 100% would stay here again.

Nice, comfortable, and quiet

Very impressed with this hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodations were modern, neat, and clean. There is no breakfast that is served but coffee is available for free.

The Budget hotels in the area tend to attract a rowdy crowd that are noisy and inconsiderate. This hotel did not have any of that.

This is the only hotel on our extended weekend away where we didn't find stained carpet or hair in the shower and sink.
I didn't see one thing in the room or anywhere in the building that wasn't clean or well maintained. The employees were very pleasant as well.

Traveling with my son so the suite was clean, spacious, convenient and comfortable. Free coffee, free use of the gym and free laundry room all appreciated by any traveler. My son requested the 5th floor and a friendly informative female clerk took the time to change our room number for him. (Sorry I forgot her name but I'm thankful). Studio type room (kitchenette) was spacious and clean. Bulk soap dispenser in bathroom for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Helpful front desk staff. I like the free laundromat and detergent is available in the lobby if needed. There are many walkable dining options in the area and a \"Dollar\" store next door. At the time of my stay, about half the guest were passing thru, and the others were energy sector workers on extended stays. The hotel is in the parking lot of a fairly large mall that appears to be still popular and right out of the 90's. That provided for a few hours worth of entertainment. Walmart, Lowes, and Rural King is very close by for other supplies.

Had a nice built in hot plate for cooking, Full size fridge, and microwave . Our dishwasher was broken & smelled of rotten water which was leaking on the floor. Unfortunately there were no other available rooms for them to move us to. The front desk person after speaking to the GM, told me to discuss getting my refund when I checked out in the morning. When I went to check out they reassured me they had already talk to Expedia and we’re working on getting my refund taken care of and they apologize profoundly for the inconvenience of not being able to use the suite to its full potential. I would definitely stay again if I was passing through that area.

My king suite was huge. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The location was great. It is surrounded by shopping and restaurants. The room was clean except for some dead bugs in the window. Besides check in, I didn’t speak to any staff but the check in guy was nice.

Hotel near mall

Hotel was nice. It is located in the parking lot of a shopping mall, shoppers will love it. Bed was a little sunken in, not helpful for a good nites sleep. It was clean and the room was large.

A pretty straightforward interstate motel; clean and well situated in relation to both I-70 and a number of fast food and quick/casual restaurants (gotta love some Cracker Barrel!).

Someone was smoking in their room the smell of which wafted into our room. The front desk couldn't really do anything about it (totally understandable...it wasn't obvious what room it was coming from)...but still something to note.

The two staff members we interacted with weren't particularly warm or welcoming...

Power was out when I got there. Then it came back on for a while, then went out again. But that was the whole area. Not the hotel's fault. I liked the room, with the kitchen. Bathroom was nice.

My Stay at Candlewood Suites

I was so please with the room, location, comfort of the bed and the size of the room! usually when you see a picture of a room you think its not going to look like that, BUT WOW! was I wrong. It was awesome and will be staying there again

The $50 charge for my well behaved dog was a surprise. As were the ants who came out from under the counter and were all over the floor in the kitchen area. Thank goodness I did not have a bunch of food.
