After a 7 1/2 hour drive I went to check in and the woman behind the counter was on the phone… for 10 minutes and was never acknowledged. Finally when she did she told me the pool and hot tub were not working although both were filled. We drove all that way a day early for our tournament so the girls could enjoy the pool and have down time. I was very disappointed and was told if I want to complain I need to contact Expedia not them 😳. Needless to say next year I’ll be staying elsewhere.

pool and hot tub closed. lights in room were not all working. less than optimal number of towels. floors in bathroom had crud built up around the toilet. air vent in bathroom was filthy. staff was friendly. the rooms are well insulated for sound from hallways and neighbors. stay was convenient to event.

Staff helpful / was able to get printed copy of my billing.
Parking was plentiful, good restaurant choices nearby.
Only negative was pool / hot tub out of service, staff explained they were awaiting repair parts.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Hotel is set on top of a hill. Nice view. Lobby has a diffferent feel then most hotels. There is a indoor pool and hot tub, which my husband loved. The room was clean, The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The continental breakfast was ok. Definately worth the money. Have stayed here 2 times and will stay the next time I go visit my mom in New Jersey from Illinois. Oh yeah, they have complimentary cookies in the lobby and the desk people are very nice.

Pool was out of order the whole stay which wasn't revealed to me until after I booked the room and then the hot tub quick working the next day. Staff Is more concerned with their phones than working the desk. Asked for a deluxe room and was put in a handicap room instead. Other than that it was ok.

the room was okay. cleaner than the rest of the hotel as far as we could see. walls are way too thin, so you hear every sound made in the hallways, including all 9,000 children running amok, and that damned blue laundry cart being rolled around hundreds of times a day. It would've been great to hear a vacuum in that hallway though, since it was about the filthiest thing we've seen. and it smelled awful. Walls in the pool area look like they were covered in mildew. I really don't understand the high star-value on the reviews of this hotel. it was abysmal for our stay.

The room itself was decent. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. However, the temperature control in the room was frustrating. The heat ran constantly at 74°, and when I turned it down to 72°, the fan kicked on and made the room uncomfortably cold - there didn’t seem to be a comfortable middle ground.
Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional. My biggest issue was the pool. At check-in, we were informed that the pool heater was not working but were assured the water was “room temperature.” Unfortunately, the room temperature was 55°, and not usable and definitely misleading.

The Breakfast had a wide variety of options which is good for many different peoples needs. The hot tub was great but the pool was not heated which was not good when asked the front desk said waiting for it to be repaired. Should put that in the booking site though as some people only book for the pool and no one wants a cold swim.

Coffee machine produces subpar coffee. Everything else is great. The hotel is clean and newly refreshed. It’s a comfortable place for us to stop on our road trips. Unfortunately, the coffee machine is providing coffee flavored water with zero caffeine. We stayed twice in the past week, and I was taken aback by the quality of the coffee. I desperately needed a good, strong cup to get me through the remainder of our drive, and I ended up with a caffeine withdrawal headache on a 5 hour drive. I mentioned that to the front desk staff, and they acknowledged that they knew it was a problem but management was not inclined to get a new machine. Please fix this!
