Breakfast was wonderful. Casino was fun but couldn’t stay long as I wanted too . It was just too cold . Too much air conditioning. Staff was good. Could’ve used a table in our room. Since it was too cold to stay in the casinos. We tried to play dominoes and cards difficult. The buffet was awful. Chicken overcooked . Roast beef prime rib was horrible.if it Hadn’t been raining we would have left to go out and find a place to eat.
Meredith

I found a bed bug in my bed on the last day of my trip. The hotel staff told me to contact Expedia to receive a refund. I asked to get written conformation this happened to me and all they gave me was $30 free play coins. When I call Expedia, they gave me $75 credit with them. Now Expedia claims they aren't able to contact the hotel, and the hotel claims they haven't heard from Expedia. Honestly, I hate complaining and I didn't know what to do. The housekeeper took the dead bug, and the lobby person said Expedia would handle the refund. I didn't ask for it I was offered it and now I'm being given the run around. The sad part was I loved my trip. I understand things like this happen and it's beyond the hotels control. I'm sure they're going to take care of it. However, what's not be handled properly is my treatment in this matter.

Awesome time and great price for just one night. However I wish they would have specified that you have to have a card on you for a $25 refundable fee that will be paid back the next day. We arrived for check-in at 4, as advised, and we were told they didn't have enough clean rooms yet and to come back in 45 minutes to an hour. The time passed and I was once again told they didn't have any rooms available yet and that they would call me when they were. Another hour passed without any notice so I went back to check and they greeted me saying \"oh there you are! we have a room now!\"
Cheryl

Friendly staff, new rooms, great decor. Fresh and clean...great value, color scheme, amenities. Overall an excellent experience and we will book again! The renovations were amazing...had a \"Las Vegas-ey\" feel to it. Great job!!
cameron
Everthing they had to offer. It remonded me of a Vegas level experience without the Vegas level frustration. Beautiful hotel and the people were very friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10. 5 out of 5. Whatever scale you care to measure.

Staff was amazing!! Clean room!! We had a blast!
Heather
Great room and great price for a Sunday night ❤️
Marilee
It took 45 minutes to get us checked in (even though we had reservations), but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Why didn't someone tell us there was a coffee station on 3rd floor? We found out by accident.
Barbara
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. I couldn't figure out the t.v. remote nor could I figure out how to turn off the light behind the t.v. Thus I didn't sleep well. Was a little disappointed there wasn't a coffee maker in the room.
Ryan
Room was clean, tub and fixtures were dated. Staff was great. Valet was included in our stay and the gentleman was awesome. Would recommend and stay again. 24hour food court was delicious and fairly priced. Drink prices were also fair.
Craig
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I was woken up at 8:00 a.m. by nonstop drilling coming from inside the hotel. The noise continued continuously and made it impossible to rest or sleep. This is a hotel and casino — not a construction site — and there was no disclosure at booking or at check-in that this would be happening.
When I went to the front desk, I was told they “couldn’t do anything” because I booked through Hotels.com and that Hotels.com was supposed to inform me. That response is unacceptable. Construction noise originating from the property is the hotel’s responsibility, regardless of booking platform. There was no attempt to relocate us, stop the noise, or offer any compensation.
The lack of accountability and guest service was just as bad as the noise itself. Being woken up early by drilling and then dismissed by staff completely ruined the stay.
I would not recommend staying here unless you are comfortable being woken up early by construction with no warning and no support from management. Extremely disappointing experience.

Marilyn
It was an average stay. Needed a lot of improvement with rooms and eating choices especially not having a good place for coffee in the morning!
Ray
An ok hotel, not so many amenities, but quiet, and clean. Ubers and taxis are scarce in Wheeling, and the hotel does not provide a shuttle.

Their was no fridge, coffee pot and broken toilet seat with hole in seat and it moved!!
Don't like having to show Id to enter casi o floor! Didnt give reason for Id to be shown.
We were in-room 519 and very noisy, sounded like someone pushing cart over our ceiling during night frequently

Clean, good people, lots of machines.
Sally
The property was fine, is in definiet need of remodeling. Bathroom sink was cracked, pulls on the dresser drawers were missing. Spots on the rug. It was clean. Just needs some upgrades. The buufet at lunch was expensive for what you get. The snack area food was good, once we figured out how to order it. Had to leave property for breafast.
We would visit again, just know what to expect.

Great price. Cheapest in the area and nice
Rosemary
Room was smelly
Gina
It could use some updates in the hotel rooms. Its very inconvenient not to have a refrigerator, coffee pot or microwave in the room. The shower pressure was great and the bed was comfy.
Verified traveler
The casino was nice, very similar to the one near Charleston, WVa. The room was clean and comfortable. They do not have a microwave, coffee maker or fridge in the rooms. I was told they are currently renovating the hotel and appliances will be added.
Randi
Very clean.
Room was very clean. Air conditioner was loud, and woke me up every time it turned on. The drain was very slow in the shower. Beds were not very comfortable. All and all was ok-probably stay elsewhere next time I come to Wheeling.
Micky
It was disappointing. We didn’t win anything, the food wasn’t good. The room was comfortable tho
DEBRA
We left behind a blanket and called and it’s not there. The housekeeping staff threw it away. It’s clearly an old item. 64 years and they tossed it. It can NOT be replaced. We are physically sick over this.
Brenda
We like the dog races there...we have casinos where we live but no dog races.
