The staff was so friendly so it makes me feel bad even complaining. But, the room was pretty dirty. I didn’t even want to touch the bathroom door because it looked like it had never been wiped down of dirty fingerprints and it was broken and wouldn’t close. The bedding wasn’t very comfortable and not what was pictured at all. There was a sheet and a thin fleece blanket rather than a comforter. The pillows and fleece blanket were also covered in someone else’s hair. We paid extra for the hot tub room but the jets wouldn’t work because the dial was so stripped inside it couldn’t catch the knob to turn on. The wifi is open so it was very slow and we weren’t able to watch any movies on my laptop.

Hotel left guests stranded in their parking lot for 2-3 days after a snowstorm while other businesses cleared their lots the day after the storm. I have no doubt vehicles were damaged from struggling to get out - Mine was.

For those visitors from years past, this is no longer the place it once was. When it first opened, it was fantastic. Not that now.

Can apply anyware but be aware of your room privacy when traveling. Especially with internet connected TVs. When in doubt, unplug it.

The linens on the bed were dirty and I took them off the bed and used a blanket I had in my car. The floors were dirty. The GM needs to be FIRED!! She was extremely rude. She confronted a guest that was traveling with me loudly in front of other guests at the breakfast area because she was making 3 waffles. She could have pulled my friend aside and not make a scene. We brought her ADA registered dog. The GM said “I’m willing to bet Anything that the dog isnt ADA.” Well she is WRONG! I went to calmly find out what happened and why the controversy. The night staff changed per my request our room but didn’t change it in the system. Somehow that was my fault.

Nice location to visit Wheeling! Our staff and room were excellent. Professional, courteous at check-in. The room was clean, mostly updated, and quiet. Close to a large Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again in the future.

When we got to our room, there were dead spiders and live spiders on our walls. No biggie right well I go to use the shower and there’s a used wash cloth and almost completely used bar of soap in the shower. The shower had pieces broken off of it. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room smelled like someone had been cooking liver and onion in the room! Called down to the front desk no answer so let the gentlemen at check out know. He asked why we didn’t report when we arrived? I said I called down no answer. Well needless to say it wasn’t made right by either Expedia or this property so we will not stay here again and we will be finding another way to book our stays since Expedia has let us down yet again. So don’t recommend staying here or booking with Expedia. Good luck!

Pillows weren't great, but that's my only complaint with the room.

Sign said \"Pool is now open\", but someone forgot to put water in it...heh, heh.

But a great little hotel overall! I don't expect a place this cheap to have a breakfast, and there's was small, but alright. Cereal, toast, waffle makers, juice, milk, maybe a couple other things.

Okay for a Qick Overnight Stay.

Room itself was clean and recently renovated. Beds were comfortable but pillows were not good. Microwave and refrigerator, but the fridge needed cleaning and there was frozen food from a previous guest. It lacks the the amenities of coffee maker, hair dryer, or face tissue box. The shampoo is in small pouches. The breakfast is very limited, basically coffee, juice, waffles, toast, and a couple of cereals. For the price, it’s an okay stay for a quick night’s lodging.

The facility was great and the service was fantastic! The only things I mentioned to the staff was our mattresses on the beds were old and uncomfortable, would have liked fresh towels delivered to our room daily and the trash cans outside were all full. The staff was very accepting of my recommendations and assured me they would be looked at and taken care off. Will definitely stay here again. I'm giving this motel 5 stars respective of its price. It's an older motel, but has been renovated, and was much cleaner than any other motel of its price I've been in.

The only thing I'd suggest is new sheets- while clean, they were a little threadbare.

The breakfast was skimpy but did offer hot waffles which is more than I've seen in this class of motel before.

Overall, it was a great choice and I'd stay here again.
