This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time! Not only was it clean, the beds comfortable, but the staff is amazing- they are the friendliest staff we have ever had! We were there a couple of nights and the girls working went above and beyond to help us out! If we are ever back down this way, this is where we will stay again!
Eric
Easy access from highway, very clean property and rooms, helpful and friendly staff. We would stay here again.
Edgar
Breakfast was great, room was clean, sufficient parking, and staff are friendly and approachable. I like the free cookies at 5 PM.
Gaa
Convenient location in Slidell near a lot of shopping. Great breakfast options and friendly staff
Dustin
Place was nice and the night stafff that checked us in were very friendly and helpful. Small pool but they had a basket with some floaties and pool noodles so my kids loved it. Beds were comfortable and the location was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again.
Audrey
Traveling as a single mom this was a very safe place and right next to Sam’s and Walmart right off the highway. Staff was friendly and property was very clean. Breakfast was excellent
Steven
Nice facilities, staff was very helpful
Nelson
Good location for doing business in Slidell or over at Stennis. The area around to hotel is starting to decay. There is a very large abandoned mall across the streets. All the close restaurants are mediocre at best. But the hotel itself is clean and updated.
Clara
clean, kind and helpful staff- breakfast was okay, but could have been better, slim pickens and eggs were in some sort of liquid residue from possibly being in a steaming pan? The food choices were slim because it was not being refilled timely.
Belca
Clean room
Chris
Great room and great area to stay in.
Dale
Just missing a coffee pot in the room.
Thomas
Breakfast was lame. Parking was fine.
Mark
Easy parking, clean room & a great breakfast
Thomas
This is a 3* review because of the room not the hotel.
Positives are friendly and efficient staff, very clean facility, nice warm cookie on arrival and a good breakfast though seating is limited. Lots of restaurants close by.
The negative was our room. We were three adults travelling together so we booked a room with a separate bedroom. The bedroom was fine with a good bed. The main room was very badly designed. A very large L shaped space with a TV and the pullout couch jammed in the small leg. The main part of the room had a table and four chairs which would have been great for playing a game except there is zero overhead lighting in the room. Only small accent lamps in the corners so the lovely table was useless without natural daylight. Just a ridiculously bad design.
Again, this review is no knock on the people running this hotel.

Wonderful little gym. Cardio. Dumbbells. Resistance bands. Sounds silly but when I travel I like the option to workout. And this was fantastic. The coffee was delicious. Breakfast was decent. Clean breakfast and many options. Cookies in the lobby in the evening. We came in late and left very early each time had a staff waiting. 10/10
Would recommend this hotel. Room was clean. And spacious.

Great room was clean

Staff is great! Slidell is South Louisiana. Therefore there is no need for a down Duvet'. You either have a sheet or a down Duvet'. We either froze or were too warm.

Great stay
Anthony
The entire experience was peaceful and felt like home away from home. Breakfast felt so personable and the woman who prepared it all and set everything up was friendly and inviting. The location is somehow still close to everything but feels private. This is our new favorite place to stay when visiting Slidell.

Very clean, bed was comfy, lots of counter space, but the shower water pressure was very weak

Room wss very nice. Staff was great.

The only thing is, and I know the ladies cleaning have to do it and move to another room, but the bathroom floors were dirty.
We face that at a lot of places, but if there is a way to make the bathroom floor not be dirty, that would be nice.

Clean hotel and friendly and helpful staff.

Room was good, The breakfast for not good. The eggs were the worst I have ever eaten. Sausage was passable. More of an effort into making good breakfasts would be a great addition.
Lana
The room looked a little dated, but it was very clean and served our needs perfectly. The bathroom was very clean and the water in the shower was nice and hot. The breakfast was also good. All staff members were very friendly and helpful.
Ritesh
It was good.
Robert
Athena did a fabulous job of welcoming us and getting us checked in. Her customer service was outstanding.

This hotel never disappoints !!! Great stay, all around. Couldn’t find one thing to complain about, even if you paid me to. I would stay here every time I come to town.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great!
Only knocks were that it was a little outdated, and it lacked certain amenities I’ve come to expect from a holiday inn or comparable hotel. No vending anywhere to be found, and no ice machines from what I seen either. Elevator was a little sketchy. Parking lot was kinda tight

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was excellent! The front desk attendant, Shalacie Lang, and the breakfast attendant, Frankie Dorrance, even changed the flat tire on my car - in record time! Would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through the Slidell, LA, area.

Yes breakfast and coffee were great. Loved the atmosphere as the hotel was decorated for Fall! So welcoming and with great, friendly staff that made our stay so pleasant.
Nicole
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great! Room was clean and had everything needed for stay.
Paul
I wish I’d known that you were hosting numerous families with lots of kids due to the soccer tournament in town. Since nobody disciplines their children nowadays, the misbehaved little monsters were running down the halls yelling and screaming during the morning and evening hours. The floors are so poorly constructed, it sounded like sprint races and wrestling matches were going on in the room directly overhead. It only stopped between midnight and 5:00 am. Sure, I asked for a room on the top floor, but was told they were all taken. The breakfast area was overwhelmed by the large family presence. It would have been nice to have hash browns or grits available. When I checked on my points, I was told I only had 1000 on record. Hard to believe since I’ve stayed at the hotel many times and never used any points. Something is wrong with this picture!
David
This is my go to place, when here on business.
Amanda
Nice hotel, with spacious rooms and bathrooms, but the bed is very noisy, the road noise is absurd all night long, and the air conditioning makes an absurd noise every time it's turned on! Breakfast is horrible.
Richard
Room was very clean. Staff was very polite. Breakfast was wonderful.
connie
The checkin clerk was awful, she was rude and even used some cuss words at me because she didnt understand I had booked 2 rooms one under my name and another family member who was standing right beside me. Her Manager on duty, didn't even try to help.
The property though was very nice, but she tainted the experience for me.

Stanley
Everything was good at the hotel. No complaints whatsoever.
Jason
Not good if you have a trailer stay at homewood and suits way nicer and the price was $20 less and twice as nice
Christy
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the variety of breakfast items. Easy off and on to I-12.
Jim
Would recommend as an excellent place to stay.
Senekah
The hotel was conveniently located, very clean, and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We had to make a last minute change to our stay and Michelle was absolutely a ROCK STAR in taking care of us. Will definitely use this hotel again!

Quick get away
Amazing stay everything was super clean the breakfast was delicious Mrs.Lana in the breakfast area didn't get the other lady name they kept fresh food coming and kept the food area spotless this is bye far one of the best holiday inn Express that I have stayed in will definitely be returning.
Chris
We had a great stay. The room was clean & comfortable, and I usually skip out on hotel breakfast because I don’t like it but the biscuits with gravy were delicious and the breakfast sausage was good too.
David
Front desk felt inconvenienced at check in!!
Clean, bright, comfortable. Indifferent staff.
Lorita

Very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff.

It took a long time to check in, there were 2 people, but none at their workplace and it took time for them to attend to us. The bathroom and sheets were not spotless. And I went down 2 minutes late for breakfast and they didn't even allow me to drink coffee. My recommendation for the hotel is to improve the service. Because the spaces are good
Oscar
nice place

Our second stay here. Very clean place! Staff are wonderful!

Every thing was great! A little noisy but that was because it’s right by the interstate.

I don’t typically stay outside of the Hilton or Marriot portfolios but my friend and I stayed here for a week while she was preparing to move for a new job. The room was clean, staff were all very friendly, the hotel stays fully booked every night, and the breakfast had a solid assortment! It wasn’t executive lounge level like we are used to but I would go back just for the biscuits
Joe

The beds were probably some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever experienced. We have been traveling for 5 days and this was a much needed experience. The breakfast had lots of options and everything was delicious. Even the coffee!!!
