Everything was great!! Staff was very nice!!
Latasha
There was absolutely no A/C in the room and i also had to go by a fan to be comfortable because it was soo hot very ridiculous and unacceptable even the maintenance man wasn’t to pleased with the situation and was saying how he wished he could have done something! Definitely not his place to do so it’s supposed to be the staff’s job to do so and unfortunately things wasn’t offered until it was check out time!
Kyle
The room was neat and cordial can tell rooms have been renovated staff was friendly grass was wildly overgrown around pool couldn’t even utilize it due to worry about snakes first night was ok second night at 1:30am water comes rushing out of my ceiling into light fixtures and floor staff knew the room and surrounding rooms were having this issue still rented out the room knowingly there is issues and could result in injury or make the room uninhabitable didn’t even offer refund when I spoke about the safety concerns so I could go to another hotel because they didn’t have availability I was put in another room on the second floor directly above my original room that was getting flooded that did it in for me I don’t recommend staying here they are letting the grounds and maintenance at facility go down the drain
Paula
Rooms was clean and the staff were pretty good
Corry
Workers was friendly , clean rooms and clean pool.

Breakfast was not as good as the last 3 times we stayed here.
No cleaning for 5 days but they did change towels when we
asked for them.

The motel has the friendliest staff than any where else I have ever been and the motel has the cleanest rooms
Audrey
The location is right next to a Walmart and a Starbucks convenient off the highway
Raymond
The front desk clerk was busy in a stock room or something. After waiting about 5 minutes, I went and found her. She basically told me to it was okay for me to wait. It was NOT okay. The room was dirty. Late at night we smelled marijuana seeping into our room. The breakfast was horrible. This "pet friendly" room was NOT "pet safe!" I almost lost my cat to a hole in the wall. I do not recommend this hotel.

We drive from Austin, and reached at hotel after 10:30pm , the room was very bed smell and Front desk clerk explained us room is non smoking,
After when we awake at 5:30am in bathroom lot of water, because of top floor’s bathroom leaking, when we complain to front desk he said he couldn’t leave from front desk and maintenance person will come he would fix it, we left without take shower,

I checked in on July 3rd and paid a $50 deposit, but as of today, July 9th, it still hasn't been refunded.
Raul
The room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. Room is outdated but safe. Would stay again.
Laura
I stayed here for one night and when I decided I needed another night for the way home I stayed again. People who give this place poor reviews are being ridiculous- realistically what can you expect for 60 bucks a night? An extremely clean room and very comfy beds, cold AC with no funny smells should be highly appreciated and well reviewed. I would stay here again when visiting Slidell for a short time!
Nicole
I booked 2 rooms. The room that I stayed in was hot even though the air was running, the tv wasn’t working, nothing to assist us with our bags and there is no elevator to the second floor. The room was clean, bed was comfortable but, not enough pillows. The pool was very clean and the area is quiet! The second room, the tv wasn’t working not working either! All in all I would recommend this hotel!
Audrey
Our halfway point to Florida is this location. Free breakfast and pools clean. Very convenient location
Dana
Great place, clean stay
Ashley
Best place we've stayed at so far on our cross U.S.A. road trip. Front desk staff were amazing! Super nice and professional. Flawless check in. Room was super clean and organized. The pool was awesome! Very clean and warm. So much fun for our family. Breakfast was decent. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!!
Donovan
It was good for the money
ALEIDA
Breakfast was good; boiled eggs, cereal, toast , fruit etc. Staff was friendly. Rooms are in need of an update. Water from the shower was clogging up; saw a few critters on the floor. Beds were soft and AC was working perfectly.
Claire
Outside facing rooms, nice looking pool but we didn’t use it. The rooms were clean, the price good for our larger family. There was an overpowering stench of cigarettes and marijuana around the stairs and outside of our rooms. The breakfast was BASIC - almost nothing there when we arrived around 8. 2 muffins, 3 bagels, almost no milk. Don’t expect any protein.
Richard
I enjoyed the pool area.
LeAnnea
I only chose this location because I was trying to save money. That's the only reason. It is in a very good location. Literally next door on the side road to the cracker barrell and Walmart. So that was nice for dinner/grabbing few things before we boarded the cruise.
We had stayed once before. Same as before. Double occupancy but only have one towel and cloth in the room, mold/mildew in the bathroom, no hand soap, the bed is super uncomfortable and the pillows smelled like someone's hair products. The room smelled stale/moldy.
Somethign you'd expect being in a flood zone I guess.
Pool was flooded, bottom floors were flooded but what can you expect in a flood/tornado watch.
Staff we encountered were all very nice.
Breakfast was your basic juices, cereals, fruits, packages of grits/oatmeal, the waffles you make yourself in a machine. cold bagels/bread you can toast.
I just like the waffles and coffee.
All in all it's worth it for the price, location and waffles. Yes I would stay here again. I mean taking my kids to get juice/waffles would cost more than the hotel stay alone.
I just wish it was cleaner in the rooms.

Breakfast was ok, parking had room for my Motorcoach staff appeared like we were bothering him. To top it off MY EXPIDA CHARGED ME FOR TGE ROOM THEN THE HOTEL CHARGED ME SO NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT
Kathy
Everything was great. We got our moneys worth! The kids enjoyed the pool!
Carmen

Clean room, friendly/great front desk staff. The only complaint we have is that the breakfast buffet sucks.
Waldemar

Kevin
Our room was disgusting. There was standing water in the tub and the toilet barely flushed. There room looked like it was barely cleaned. Never staying here again.
Courtney
Large party and children running around in the main lobby. Parties in the pool area until late. Breana’s not only unsanitary, poor quality, no tables to be had as the party from the previous night held all of the tables.
lynda
Room needed work .
Johnny
Very good
DeeDee
This hotel was just an overnight stay for us, so we didn't really checkout anything about the hotel.

Older venue, fine for an overnight stay
ramsey
Staff was great. Pillows, if you can call them that, suck. Bring your own. Shower is wonky and old. I’m short and it’s small. But it’s cheap and safe. And overall clean.
Nikolas
Gave me room at washing machine. Lots of smokers. Catered to work crews. Only changed headboard. Bad curtains. Water softener. Cant wash off soap. Draft thru ac when off. Hard to find.
Robert
Pool was dirty, the breakfast was a joke! False advertisement to say the least! Go somewhere else!
Lela
Room was clean The staff was friendly parking was right in front of the room Breakfast was good and there was a Cracker Barrel next door that we walked to for dinner
Lonnald
Everything was perfect!!
Lynne
The breakfast was excellent and this is the best restocking breakfast I've ever had it in. A hotel. Josefina worked really hard to be sure that there were fresh apples and muffins and donuts and oatmeal and waffles and yogurt and all the liquids full at all times.
Eman
Affordable, cleanish, friendly staff. Breakfast was waffles, bagels, yogurt, and apples, it could have been better overall. But still acceptable as a solo traveler.
KEVIN
The hospitality is marvelous
Evan
The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was very clean, even the Air Conditioner filter was clean. It looks like the property is being updated slowly as the stairwell had new flooring at the landings, but carpet had been removed from stairs. My room was super clean, however the toilet seat hinges were broken so the seat just fell off when lifted. The shower head was at shoulder height as a lot of older hotels are and the the drain was very slow. I did appreciate that the walls seemed to be well insulated as there was next to no noise even though the hotel was very full.
Eva
Clean. Breakfast was decent. Great location to get to a ton of places including food spots.
Lester
place is beautiful has over 100 palm trees

Carlos
Ok hotel if you’re on a budget.
Jessica
We got in an immediately called for one of our local friends to come escort us out of that place because I’ve did not feel safe with my family. There was a lot of people hanging around outside and inside floors and baseboards were disgusting. The tub was filthy we left I didn’t even tell anyone we had left, but we did not stay in that space for more than 35 minutes and it would’ve been less than that but that’s how long it took for my local friends to get to us to walk us back to my car.
peter
Parking good
Travis
I had to hit the toilet to get the water to start running after flushing because the inside of the back of the toilet was so dirty. I informed the front desk and nothing ever changed.
Lillian
