They pay a lot of attention to cleanliness, the housekeeping staff does a very good job. Amenities are very basic but sufficient, the free breakfast was improved to add toaster waffles but there is no protein (but there a Waffle House only steps away). Convenient location to I-10 and to the Slidell Old Town and city center (7-8 minutes away). Good value for the price.

Night check in was easy and pleasant. As was morning check out. Unfortunately expedia did not pass my full contact info.to the hotel, so they were unable to contact me and verify I was still coming for a very late check in. Rooms were clean and in good shape. It's a super 8, not the Ritz so have reasonable expectations...pool was drained (not an issue for us). We did not stay for breakfast. Easy access to highway and plenty of parking. Great experience

Stayed in a non smoking room but BOTH beds had burns in ALL the covers. The water didnt get hot in the shower..only lukewarm. AND it RAINED IN THE ROOM during the storm in multiple spots making sleeping non existent!
You could here the people next door thru the door as they humg out outside both rooms.

Although the person that checked me in was great the room was awful. The mold around the tub was enough to make my allergies become a problem. It about 10 minutes for the hot water to get warm. There was spider web’s in the corner on the ceilings. When I asked to be changed I was told they only had a double and I would have to pay the difference. I left ten minutes later.

When I first got there, the room that they gave me was room number 112. The air conditioning unit was broke, and there were no buttons to push visible buttons because they were all broken on the AC unit. The telephone receiver was broken. There were no buttons at all on the receiver. The receiver was dirty. It was filthy. It had not been clean the room smell like pure smoke And I requested a non-smoking room went to the counter requested a refund back. The manager suggested he give me another room so he gave me a room two doors up room 110. The air conditioning unit did work. The buttons on the telephone were visible and they were there and the phone was not as dirty so we stayed, but I will not be visiting again. You can smell smoke through the walls and marijuana.

We reserved a no smoking room on the app. However when we got to the hotel and we're giving the keys entering the room with a strong smell of marijuana I went back to the office but there were no other no smoking rooms available. Also it was hard to get cold water. Normally I would complain about not having hot water but in this room that's all we had. The breakfast was sweet bread and coffee. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel but unfortunately it will be the last.

The front desk person was very accommodating. We booked a nonsmoking room, but the room we were given smelled of smoke. He immediately moved us. We needed more towels for the room because there were 3, not two, in the room. He brought them right away. We felt very safe, the room was clean and beds comfortable. However Wyndam needs to remodel and improve their bathrooms and vanity/sink areas. We would return for another stay if needed.

Staff claimed we never showed and we did. Got here at 4am instead of 1am. Traffic held us up and we still arrived. We were charged twice. Staff said they never got paid but charged my card anyways. Strongly don’t recommend. Website also said $20 pet fee not $20 per pet. Never had issues with Expedia before but always getting headaches from hotels after booking.

It’s a convenient/ last minute place to stay. Waffle House is in the the same parking lot and Burger King is across the street so that’s a plus. Bugs everywhere, outside and inside the room, dead bugs on the wall. There was a brown smudge on the ceiling but whatever. Hot water is nonexistent, Luke warm shower is the worst especially after a hot night out in NOLA. Day of checkout, my husband and i woke up 30 minutes past checkout time. An employee (male) was completely rude to me (assumed i was in my room alone), accused me of slamming the door in his face and threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave in 5 minutes. My husband talked to the guy. He was trying to validate himself about being rude to me. But the kicker is that he was much nicer to my friend who was staying on the opposite side of the motel, told him to take as much time as he to leave. Overall we enjoyed our time in NOLA.

Booked with Expedia. Requested a quiet upstairs room. When I arrived, the desk attendant claimed his information showed I requested a handicapped room. He insisted I had to take a handicapped room and I advised him I was not handicapped, wanted the type of room I requested, and saw no reason for me to be in a handicapped room, as a truly handicapped person might need it later that night. From the looks of the parking lot, plenty of rooms were vacant. He refused to change the room and I did not like his attitude. Very unimpressive. Plenty of motels in the area. I'll try another one next time

I was put in a mobility access room (for the handicapped). The room itself was great and a nice size bathroom with a nice size walk-in shower and fold-down seat inside. However, the shower curtain kept touching my leg while seated/showering (ick). The shower curtain (IMO) needs to be on a curved rod and problem solved. Additionally, the front door had a very decent size \"open\" gap underneath and above the threshold. I don't understand why there isn't a door guard of some sort on there to keep the bugs out. I had a towel under mine, while there. When you're gone is my issue bc one night upon returning I had to kill a German cockroach that entered! If you don't know how big they are - Google it. The noise was another factor. My door was right by the steps close to the front facing Wafflehouse (which that was a bonus) but it was hardly ever quiet whether it was the lawn care people blowing the parking lot or sidewalks (not to mention right onto your car) or people walking by or up/down the steps. Assuming it was the owners (that run day shift) that knocked on my door, trying to push me out and yelled at me about the cleaning/laundry they have to do, mind you they weren't even close to being at full capacity. I got the rest of my stuff out of room & onto sidewalk. However, instead of them going into the room that they so desperately needed to start on, they proceeded to stand there, arms crossed, and STARE me down until everything was in my car, my dog and myself included.👎👎

It's a great hotel for those traveling with their furry companions.
The rooms do not have carpet, there is a reasonable cleaning fee for pets, and an awesome grassy area with live oak trees to walk them in. Staff were friendly, the parking area was well-lit and there was a convenience store and Waffle House next door.

I’ve read reviews that the front desk is rude but he was actually nice. The room had a musty and cigarette smell although our room was non smoking. The sheets had cigarette holes in it. Bathroom was okay. Hair dryer is broken, I didn’t keep trying I was afraid to get electrocuted.
