WELL THE ROOM WASNT EVEN CLEANED. PLUS THEY ACCUSED US OF TAKING A SHEET WHEN WE BROUGHT THEM DOWNSTAIRS BECAUSE THE SHEETS WERENT CHANGED. JUST NASTY AND WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING BECAUSE THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME. DIRTY ROOMS AND HALF THE TIME THE DOOR ON THE ROOM IS BROKE. THEY ARNT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING COMES UP MISSING.

The listing said indoor pool, and it was not indoors. The shower curtain was covered in mold, and the walls had mold on them too. The pillows were stained and very gross. One of the locks on my door was broken, so I did not feel very safe.

This motel was an absolute disaster. I booked through Expedia and paid to extend my stay for an extra day for $35. They happily took my money at 5 AM and told me everything was fine. Then the morning staff acted completely clueless, knocked on my door at regular checkout time, and basically tried to double-charge me or tell me my arrangement didn’t count. It was a joke.

On top of that, the room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it reeked of marijuana and wasn’t clean at all. Honestly, this was hands down the worst motel stay I’ve ever had. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

I ordered 2 non smoking rooms and was put in smoking rooms. The bed sheets had blood, stains, hair. Concrete stairs are damaged and big chunk of the stair is missing. The railing on the second floor is tilted and has big gaps. The facility is a big hazard with an accident waiting to happen. We checked in like 12am so i didnt feel like going to office to complain we just wanted to go to sleep. In the morning when i was checking out I informed the front desk of the bloody sheets and putting me us smoking rooms, I didnt get an apology or nothing they just said they would \"let them know\"

New management an dirty filthy rooms. Disappointe.

The new management is not properly keeping up property. Use to say here for the last 8 years when visiting family in Louisiana. This time new owners. It’s June pool not fix, nasty, rooms dirty had to move twice. First room smelled like dogs, hair was in room. Second room had hand prints on tv. Mirrors dirty, left the next morning instead of three nights took that lost. It was disappointing just dirty. Had to go get toilet tissue from front desk. It was not a nice experience.

I instantly regretted my decision to stay here. When my boyfriend and I first walked in the room, there was absolutely no air on. It is June in Lousiana!! The heat index is typically 105•-115•. It was extremely stuffy and it took a while for it to cool down. The AC was blowing cold but it took a long time and it was very small room. Oh and the bathroom felt like a sauna.

I've stayed at this property before and had no reservations about staying again. Let me stress by saying, at no point was there more than 10-15% (by outward appearances) occupancy.

Pluses: Room was clean and fairly new.

Minuses: My room was further to the backside of the property. I'd have to leave the water run for 5 minutes before I would have hot water in a severely under pressured shower.

Secondly, over the course of 5 nights, my room wasn't serviced once, and after the 3rd night, I had to go ask for fresh towels. (again, not that busy)

Lastly, beware of and don't feed the neighborhood strays. I was sitting outside my room having a smoke and one of the extended residents asked for a light. After joining me for a smoke, my bad, he asked if I had any extra, and when I declined, pointed out a few places nearby to restock. The stray, seemed to be hanging out waiting for my return the next day to ask for another light. I noped out of that situation. (Just an annoying encounter that I brought on myself)

I paid for a extra night two hours before checkout and the housekeeper bust in my room disrespectfully asking am i leaving checkout is at 11. All because the front desk person was talking to her boyfriend and didnt update the housekeeper on the extra night. Noone took accountability the manager only said sorry but u paid late which was a lie cuz i had a confirmation at 9:11am when checkout is at 11 and when i showed him he just looked dumbfounded!I was exposed and disrespected. Never again!

We were heading to a cruise for a family gathering. The first room we were placed in had urine and toilet paper still in it. We also observed a roach crawl into the television stand. Jacob, the night clerk moved us to another room and the toilet there still had a ring around the bowl. However, the room had an overall better smell and the sheets were pleasant. This experience taught us to never trust anything less than a hotel.

Horribly

The only great thing I can say about this Motel is the location is great. It is located right off of I-10. The service was friendly which was good. But they didn't really go out of the way for that awesome motel experience that grabs a tourist's attention, but friendly none the less. The room was the absolute most horrible room I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. The water pressure was very slow, took forever to get a little hot water, the TV had bad reception, there was a queen size mattress on a full size frame which made the bed droop on either side, the only blanket on the bed had cigarette holes in it, hardly any amenities like coffee, or toiletries, just little bars of soap and a few towels, and the smell was so bad, that we had to drown the room with cologne and perfume. I will not be returning to this or any motel 6 establishments again.

Only if you’re absolutely desperate!

I drove 30+ miles out of NOLA to reduce cost for accommodation for the Super Bowl. Chose the Motel 6 at Slidell with instant regret. Still had to pay over $150 for the room despite the front door not closing properly, the toilet/bathroom not having been cleaned from the last guest and there being dubious stains on the bed cover.

The first time I think I was dirtier getting out of the shower than I was before getting in to it. Shower tray looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.
