This was the worst hotel I have ever booked through Expedia, particularly in terms of cleanliness and management.
Despite the hotel being barely two years old, the room was in terrible condition. The bedsheets had visible bodily hair and dirt, the carpet was stained, and the kitchen accessories were covered in layers of grime. The room was clearly not cleaned to basic hospitality standards.
I left the room immediately due to these unsanitary conditions. There was no manager on duty at the time of check-in, even though it was during regular hours, and communication among the staff was poor. When I requested to cancel the reservation, the front desk manager was unable to resolve the issue.
This property should not be listed on Expedia and does not meet acceptable cleanliness or management standards.

Reception was closed when I got there (30 mins before the email said it would). It took me over an hour to get into the room. When I got into the room it was not cleaned and there was a surprise in the toilet. I tried calling to get it resolved and no one would answer.

This property is near major transport links - motorways and bus routes the Albany Sports stadium and Westfield Shopping Centre Albany.
The apartment was a 1-bed unit but the smallest I have ever encountered. The bedroom was just bigger than the King bed in it, the Kitchen had just the appliances and the 'living' area had room only for a 2-seater couch, coffee table and card-table sized dining table. The hose to the shower head leaked and water pressure was very low.

A very clean hotel with nice modern studio rooms that feature a comfortable double bed and plenty of room. The room was well lit and easy to move around.

We caught the bus from Auckland CBD to Albany Station. Very quick. 5 minute walk to hotel, just follow the partially covered walkway. Nice Unit with Basic cooking and other Mod cons. It is 15 minutes walk to Westfield Albany. Great Shopping. We had a great time here. We have booked to come back.

The Ramada is a fairly new hotel. It is nice and clean, with all the facilites which one needs for a comfortabe stay , kitchnet, washingmachien/ drier etc. For me it is a little sterile !

Have stayed here before on ooening week 6 or 7 years ago so booked again. Unfortuantely the 2 bedroom apartment we had smelt extremely damp and musty (room 316). No opening windows so nothing we coukd do about it.so just put ip with it. High tiuch areas like light switches, fridge etc hadnt been cleaned. Staff were wonderful and after hiurs access on public holiday great. Linen etc was clean as were publix areas. Probably wouldn't stay again unless cleaner and the musty eater smell fixed.

We had a one bedroom apartment. The room was lovely and spacious, enough room for the two of us. However the extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy & it didnt turn off until about 15 mins after we turned the light off. The drier was also very loud, never known a drier to be so loud. Apart from the noise, it was a good stay and walking distance to Westfield and restaurants.

Only very minor thing was that the TV in our room didn't have Chromecast, but the handbook indicated it did/should, which would have been nice to be able to cast Netflix from a small device to the TV.

This was the worst room I’ve had in my 3 or 4 stays here. The tv is faulty with a pink hue, the bedroom light switch was missing a cover and the hairdryer that you gave to press is barely usable for guests with weak hands or forearms. It is not worth the gimmick.

The room was passable for a 1 night stay. However the room felt negleted. The walls were marked. The rubbish bin lid was broken. The shower was dirty and mouldy and the shower hose was missing parts. These are easy fixes but does require some attention to detail. We have stayed here twice and both times have experienced the same standard which is disappointing.
