The hotel is not really maintained. If only they could clean all areas properly, it would make a big change. One of the biggest problems we noticed was a dirty pool and area around it. All towels were super old and 90% had big holes in them. Breakfast didn't look nice. Looks like the management doesn't really care about any maintenance or improvements.

There has not been repairs done to so many things that the place is almost abandoned on the plus side the personnel are so warm and welcoming, I omitted to read the ratings and just looked at the pool and the ocean, I would like to thank Expedia for their help with all the bookings and the ease of using, thanks Eugene

The hotel is quite run down, the room was given to me very early which was great. But there was long black hair all over the floor. And a lot of dust. The blanket was also in a grey case that didn’t seem fresh. I had to ask the housekeeper to change the bedding. The bathroom also had hair everywhere especially near the drain. There are no beach loungers on the beach and the area where the loungers are by the pool is pretty messy. The breakfast is not good very simple and cold.

No blow dryer in the room. And the AC points right at the bed so at night it’s pretty uncomfortable since it blows right at you. There was an incident when a very loud drunk man was banging on the door in the middle of the night and yelling. The first time I called the front desk someone came by but the drunk man must of gone downstairs and they missed each other but when he came back I called several times and they only camy by much later. So it definitely didn’t feel safe or secure. People smoke all over the property especially on the balcony so you can’t even enjoy yourself and the fresh ocean air.

This property is only good for location on the beach. It is 30min walk from main chaweng nignt life and the rooms are so small. The air conditioning did not work, showers are dirty. The place is over all old and no gardening is taken care of. Staff are great as all thai people are.

We checked in at night. They had an inexperienced girl handling the desk. My friend went to three rooms before they got him settled. They actually barged inon a couple. My room was never cleaned in three nights even after I asked about it, nice room but seemed somehow unfinished. Wasn't really happy. Not horrible.

For those in the bottom floor, watch out for splinters in your feet. Begged for 4 days to fix my hot water, to no avail. Housekeeping were no where to be seen. When they did turn up I was given dirty towels. Owner couldn’t care less and there is no chance if a refund. However view from 3rd and 4th floor were stunning

There were bags of garbage on the property never picked up in the 5 days we stayed. Our room was not cleaned even once. Had to ask for clean towel and toilet paper daily. Heard other complaim they had room cleaning sign out all day and still had to ask for service at the front desk. An older man always sleeping in the lobby area, might be part manager. Often saw him yelling with another man who could have been a manager as well, or related father/son? The beds were hard like cement and the pillows were so thick and hard as a rock. We booked this resort because of proximity to beach, which was great! But false advertising as there isnt really a restaurant. Open for breakfast of which we REFUSED to eat at, as had cold fried eggs, a bit of lettuce and cut up tomato. Most resorts have nice coffee machine with latte and cappuccino options. But nope they serve nescafe and you need to boil your own water. We arrived and our room wasnt ready, as air conditioner wasnt working. They were nice enough to upgrade for one night at no additional charge. However while waiting to see if a/c could be fixed front desk staff told us to go to the restuarant, order food and have a drink. We were completely ignored for over 20 minutes. When asked to order a drink the lady in broken english motioned no. So no restaurant and no 2 bars. Looks like the pool bar has never ever been set up. This could be a GORGEOUS property with proper management and a bit of elbow grease. Never again! Be warned

This property did not match the description or pictures. I was one of only two guests in the whole hotel. Everything was old and outdated. Not well maintained. The staff weren’t very friendly either. Leaking faucet. Cracked window. Rusted balcony rails. No operational pool bar.

- inaccurate dated pictures. Hotel has been let go, let down.
- no access to ice
- having set room at do not disturb, didn’t have room cleaned. When requested our water bottles, was firstly asked to pay.
- limited buffet breakfast not warmed by food warmers (only one)
- no hot water which they “flipped the breaker” after me inquiring on and on .. 8 hours after my first inquiry and continued insistance. Asked other guests which the confirmed not having hot water. They offered beer as compensation for the lost of booking extra for a room with a bath the we could not use. We spent like 150$ CAD more over 2 nights for the room with that unusable bath.

Pay attention that all the reviews are from 2018 ,before covid, the hotel did not recovered.
It's nice facility, but only 4 rooms with guests.
And more expensive then a hotel in the main area,with open restaurant and activities.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and quiet. It's on the south side of Chaweng beach, which is quieter and less busy. Pillows were too large, as they normally are at hotels, that's why I bring my own. I would definitely stay there again

The property is run down and needs refurbishing
They need larger beach towels and new linen towels
But I do have to say ... it’s in a great location on the beach great pool with awesome bar staff 😃 chow who makes all the cocktails n who also works in the kitchen is amazing who is always Smiling n very helpful And friendly !! The reception staff are very friendly and helpful... over all it’s a great hotel and I would definitely stay there again !

Would never stay here again.

Surprised at first impression as hotel has no frontage on the road. Room location wes excellent with a great view of the sea. Bed rock hard and pillows the same but changed when asked. Bedding not changed just bottom sheet rotated.Area disappointing as far from main area and a lot of roadworks out front of the hotel for over 100 meters in either direction. Staff okay but have little knowledge of what tourists ask. Only 4 or 5 rooms in use so this shows how popular the hotel is as hotel next door is busy. Pool lounges only around pool for guests with a pool access room. Pool lounges have cushions that are falling apart and even on the beach cushions soaking wet from the rain. People we met walked past thinking the place was being renovated and closed.

I am totally in love with the balcony from my room and the ocean view is very good for see the sunrise. The pool is very big and clean , the staff was very helpful and nice, because my flight schedule was kind of mess, and they let me checked in much earlier to let me rest , of course thats base on they have available room at that that .
The first day i checked in was after rains, and my room has some small ants, which is a bit bothering me , but I definitely don't have other complain and recommend to people to stay here if you don't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation.
Outside the hotel is easy to find restaurant, 7-11, massage, or renting the motorcycle.

A roommate afternoon when the breeze was blowing in the ocean waves were going was absolutely peaceful and stunning all at the same time. I would highly highly recommend this hotel for the location, service, views,, pool. Truly loved our stay here.

Truly amazing stay. The room and ocean view was stunning. The service was top notch the don’t desk manager (Pi?). So warm and accommodating your every need. It was our honeymoon and there was a beautiful flowers in the room for us. The breakfast was good. You can ask them to make you eggs how you like. Pool was fabulous! A+!

We booked here due to holiday time and everywhere else was full. It is a great location at the end of Cheweng Beach you get to see everything as you walk toward the center. There are good shops and food nearby. The pool was used by everyone even though it is only 0.9M deep until you get to the end by the seating. The beach outside is good for competent swimmers or you can go a little further up to find calm water. Excellent for families and just chilling out

The resort was great , location excellent the beach out front was lovely . Massage out front on beach and all the water sports was great too. The staff were exceptional , nothing was a problem . The only downside which wasn’t really a problem was that the resort was empty ! A few days we were the only ones there, so we had the pool all to ourselves , but no fellow travellers to interact with.

This was the fourth hotel we stayed in Thailand on our current holiday and it exceeded our expectations in every way.

-firstly we paid a bit more for a nice room and they satisfied all our requests we mentioned on our Wotif booking
-the room was AMAZING, comfort, view, cleanliness, beautiful decorations on the bed, quiet. I could’ve sat on the balcony all day looking at the sea
-the staff were super friendly, super helpful for all the questions we had about the island, the pool bartender even went to the main st to buy us ciggies when we had run out drinking at the pool bar.
-the location was perfect, right on the beach but a 10 min walk away from the louder club area which suited us
-the pool was a highlight, so big and beautiful
-the breakfast was simple with limited selection but was always nice
-probably only gripe was poor wifi connection and tv reception

We travel to Thailand every year and stay at many hotels all over the country. Both my partner and I can honestly say this one is a stand out and I could not recommend more highly!

The staff were truly great to us, helping us from the minute we arrived until the second we departed. Not only with prepping our rooms, but with handling our baggage and ensuring our strict dietary requirements were met with a friendly smile. I can honestly say that we fully enjoyed our stay as a family of 6 at this hotel-resort, it was very relaxing and the location is pristine, excellent pool, excellent beach... very nice indeed.

All the most important things are exccellent!

Great hotel, a little bit away from the main part of chawang (15 minute walk). Great hotel, great shower, good internet, excellent pool, cool fishes! Like a lot of hotels in Thailand, the breakfast could have a little bit more variety. But you can find plenty of food around, if you get bored with whats on offer. Very nice staff, looked after us well (nice staff make hotel stays, so much better). The beach out the front has a bit of a steep incline, which my folks didn't like heaps! Plus I couldn't watch the Australian Rules Football as they didn't have the Australia channel, but I don't think I have ever had that in Samui. But what can you do ahhh! We would definitely go back!

Great hotel right on the beach.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We chose a room with a view over the pool and sea and enjoyed sitting out on our balcony with this great view.
Buffet breakfast was by the pool and overlooked the beach, very relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast needs improvement as highlighted by other guests.

The location and service was great! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5/5 was the Twin room beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. As well as the breakfast was subpar. The pool, beach and great service did make up for the bed and breakfast issues. So overall I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Nice staff but terrible breakfast.

The hotel is situated close to the beach and shops. The staff are friendly, and I have to pay credit to the female front desk manager-she was so helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. The eggs were precooked and left to congeal on a plate, the food was cold and not enough of it. If I went again, I would book a room without breakfast and eat in the street restaurants. The beach is nice and clean and the water lovely to swim in, but beware the jet ski operators who operated on the beach, right next to the hotel! We observed a horrible scene on the beach, where representatives of a jet ski company beat up some young British tourists, threatened them with a knife and demanded 50 000 baht for some supposed damage to a jet ski. One of the thugs threatened \" You run, you die\". It was so obvious they were scamming these poor boys, who left the hotel after spending only 2/4 days there, because they were so scared. Apart from this upsetting event, we enjoyed our time in Kho Samui and, apart from breakfast, liked staying at the Samui Beach Resort.

I had an ok stay at this hotel. Staff is nice and very helpful and the room was kept clean. What made it unpleasent for me was that someone (probably a drunk hotel guest) tried multiple times to get in to my room in the middle of the night. Hotel area is quite calm otherwise. Feels little overpriced.

Resort with plenty of potential

Such a shame the staff show no interest in their guests as this resort has so much potential. The Manager was even there several days and walked straight past us and didn't speak.

The only place we have ever been to that have no welcome drink, no cold towel on arrival, no information folders in the rooms....it's the little things that mean a lot. We would come in at night and the receptionists would be behind the desk playing on their phones.......didn't look up once in 8 days.

We travel to Asia a lot and prefer a good hard bed but OMG the beds were like concrete - the sun loungers were far, far better.

Such a shame as this place could be so fabulous ☹️

I can't rave about this place enough. Our room was lovely and clean, the shower and bath tub were very clean and luxurious. The king size bed was very comfortable, just watch out for your shins on the wooden frame, ouch! Staff were more than helpful, they were accommodating to all of our requests, made phone calls on our behalf to book tours, arranged a scooter for us to rent and were all round friendly and helpful. The pool and swim up bar were great for relaxing and having a drink, not overly deep so great for kids too and plenty of room for many, many guests to swim comfortably. Great location on the main road running parallel to Chaweng Beach, close to all shops and food vendors. We would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Beautiful pool and postcard perfect beach. The staff were really great especially the guy that runs the bar he is hardworking and one step ahead all the time. Rooms was nice just pillows really hard, but they changed them for us. Cable tv average not great selection of channels but we didn't care, hardly watched tv. Breakfast was great. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay in Koh Samui

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Samui Beach resort. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool is magnificent - just note there are no chairs directly on the pool deck unless you are renting a room off the pool- the chairs are at the end of the pool or on the beach for the other hotel guests. If there are vacant pool rooms they allow you to sit on the lounge chairs off the vacant rooms or villas. There's a great Thai massage tent right at the foot of the hotels beach and all the water sports you can imagine on the resort beach as well. We had a lovely stay and definitely recommend this resort.

Excellent location right on the beach and awesome swimming pool. Photos we looked at on Wotif were exactly as we found the hotel which was excellent. The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great for us as it was far enough away from the noisy bars at night time but close enough to walk into the main Centre. Beach was lovely. A great place to relax.
Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of variety to suit everyone.
Would totally recommend this hotel for couples or families.

Modern hotel allowing the Samui village feel.

Nice hotel right on the beach, has an excellent pool that is extremely large so you can rotate between the beach and the pool as the day warms up and you need to get out of the sun. Very competent and helpful bar/kitchen staff who are happy to please. The food cooked on site is also quite tasty. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the night life but there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. I personally have a young family so didn't want to hear the loud music and drunken revellers so was perfect for me, the pool is definitely a winner along with the beach and massage availability on the beach.

Good for the price. Only issue is that the beds are really, really hard. The standard sea view rooms are quite small so we were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a bigger room. Right on the beach which is a massive plus, the pool is huge but with the ocean right there we only used it once!

Despite a rating of 7.2, the hotel fell far short of our expectations. The property is old, worn down, and clearly in need of renovation.

The breakfast was a complete disaster — so poor that it would honestly have been better not to offer breakfast at all.
The staff experience was very mixed; some were helpful, while others seemed disengaged. On several occasions, staff were sleeping at the reception desk, which felt highly unprofessional.

Overall, this is not a place we would choose again.

The only real positive was the location, which was decent and right on a nice beach.
We paid around €200 per night, which is absolutely not justified by the quality provided.

Nous sommes arrivés de nuit, la chambre était top.
Malheureusement, les déceptions se sont accumulées le lendemain dès le matin.
Le petit-déjeuner est quasi inexistant (pas de choix, Nescafé pas de café filtre, les deux grille-pain hors service, jus d’orange congelé).
Tables et chaises collantes, déchets partout dans l’enceinte de l’hôtel, et même des sacs poubelle pleins au milieu du jardin et pas débarrassés !
A part la façade et les chambres, l’hôtel semble laissé à l’abandon.
Nous avons préféré partir après deux jours.

Horrible fuyez !

A part l'emplacement qui est bien et la réceptionniste super (Miss NArm) qui se bat pour que ca marche a peu près , tout le reste est a jeter ! Il y a le patron qui vit dans le lobby, mange , dort, telephone.... tout est a rénover , les poubelles ne sont pas enlevées, il y a des mauvaises odeurs et des déchets partout... Un hotel à l'abandon et un rapport qualité prix tres mauvais ... Fuyez !

Lever højt på lokationen. Udemærket værelse, med små mangler, som en dør til altanen der ikke ville låse (der var dog pengeskab) og et blandingsbatteri der kun kunne lava og is, og ikke rigtigt noget indimellem. Morgenmaden var ikke pengene værd. Men det mest udtalte var larmen. Der var konstant støj og man kunne høre naboer og folk på gangen hele tiden (dårligt lydisoleret). Men det ligger lige til stranden, det skal det dog have og virkelig en lækker strand.

Le personnel au top mais l’hébergement est très moyen pour son prix , on paye que la vue
Pas d’eau chaude à la douche , baie vitré déboîtée, pas de parasol à disposition pour la plage et pas de transats pour la piscine sauf ceux qui ont réservé les chambres du bas , pas de restauration et pas de bar ! Je le recommande pas

Nicht empfehlenswert

Zimmer war das Einzige was noch ok war. Umgebung ungepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. WIFI wie vor 20 Jahren, meistens lief es gar nicht. TV mit drei Sendern. Die Strandlage war gut.

Die Hotelanlage ist leider ziemlich abgelebt - schade, denn die Anlage hätte wirklich Potenzial. Das Zimmer an sich war allerdings geräumig & sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht zu empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist super - es ist direkt am Strand gelegen, in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen 7/11 und einen super Obsthändler. Wenn man die Straße Richtung „Haven“ läuft, findet man unzählige Restaurants und ist mitten im Geschehen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt finden wir das Hotel trotzdem ausreichend.
