I absolutely loved my stay at Samui Paradise – it completely lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The resort is perfectly located right on the beach, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind.

The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable – with thoughtful touches that made the whole experience feel extra special. I especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the entire resort was, yet still just a short walk or ride away from local shops, restaurants, and activities.

The staff were incredible – always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Whether it was arranging a tour, serving up delicious food at the restaurant, or simply greeting us with a smile each day, they made the stay unforgettable.

Samui Paradise Chaweng Beach was the perfect place to start an island holiday. Located down the southern end of the beach, it is peacefully quiet and right on the water. The water is crystal clear and beach immaculate. It's all about the location location location. Hotel is very reasonably priced, surrounded by established trees, that give great shade. Rooms fine, staff magnificent and evening cocktails sublime. Recommended.

All one level, rustic village look as opposed to concrete blocks. Quiet end of Chaweng beach, although deluxe villas 1-6 back to the main road and can be noisy at times.
Breakfast ok though they bring everything at once - juice, coffee, yoghurt, eggs, toast fruit etc all come at once. No gluten free options provided, although requested at time of booking. Actually all the places we ate had no understanding of gluten free, even though there were gf foods/ingredients available in the supermarket at Central Mall. If they worked on some of the little things this resort could be great value for money eg welcome drink, more sun lounges placed down on the sand, all front desk staff have good understanding of English, offering upgrades when they are half empty, having a towel rail or hooks rather than a small bamboo ladder, not recycling the indoor slippers provided, offering a cheaper laundry service for guests (the only over the top cost we experienced), getting the Spa Covid compliant so it can re-open etc

The cabin type rooms that face the pool looking out to the water are amazing. Private deck to sit outside while reading a book or playing a board game make it peaceful. The only downside was not having beach access, the water was way too rough but their pictures show you can swim out there which was not the case when we were there.

The rooms are sure with large rooms, large bathrooms with showers and an excellent outside veranda with a table and chairs for some socialising in the evenings. Lovely area for sun bathing and a nice pool area. A small, unique boutique hotel that fits the bill for a nice relaxing holiday. The staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and they are the best most friendly professional people we have had the pleasure to meet in any hotel we have stayed in.

Near the beach nice surroundings nice staff .did not like that there wasn’t enough storage for clothes had to keep most of our clothes in suit case 6 clothes hangers for two people would suggest they put chest of drawers in and also make the lights brighter and maybe a full length mirror .would make it much better .

Amazing hotel but Chaweng Beach very dirty

Amazing hotel. Room was very clean and breakfast was just incredible. Indeed, there were so many tasty options to choose between that it took me 5 mins to decide what to eat. The beach is ok, the section in front of the hotel is probably the only part of Chaweng which is not full of trash and plastic objects.

The resort was amazing, beautifully cared for, heavenly gardening and big room. The staff are great and very helpful when I needed, especially Fah. She was wonderful. The mosquitoes are very troubling there and the rooms a little too close to each other to my opinion but it didn't trouble us too much. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff were all very welcoming and nothing was any trouble for them. In fact, they were responsive to individual couples needs before you needed to ask, perfect!
The only negative in my opinion were the steps from hotel pool and restaurant down to the beach. Quite steep and often felt slippery due to the sand.

Nice hotel located on a fantastic beach

The hotel is located just on a fantastic beach with soft sand and very few stones. The beach is really fantastic. The hotel restaurant is located with a view over the ocean and the setting for breakfast and when using the restaurant is fantastic. The pool is very small and is more for decoration as its not really possible to swim in it, and I would also recommend to use the beach. The part of the hotel located along the beach is really great as the view is fantastic and its windy. The hotel consists of a number of bungalows which are located quite close and with a lot of vegetation around (trees and small plants). If you are not located in the first couple of rows then there is little wind at the bungalow and it can get very hot to sit outside the bungalow. We ordered two \"Grand Villa\" but one was upgraded and we could then compare the two different kinds of bungalows. The \"Grand Villa\" is quite small and dark, and needs, in our opinion, to be renovated as it feels old (dark wood and small space). I would definitely recommend to upgrade the room as the next room level is so much better (much larger toilet, larger and nicer veranda, more space in the room and never TV). The staff at the hotel is really nice and doing a great job (thanks to all of them!!). We had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel mainly based on the beach and the location. Taxi to the center is easy to get and the cost is 50 Bath/person. Thanks for a nice stay.

Having stayed at Samui Paradise Resort some ten years ago, it was great to find it largely unchanged. Facilities had been maintained to a high standard and the location was still relatively quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the tourist centre. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the food at the resort restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed in the Thai style beachfront bungalow and enjoyed uninterrupted views of the water. Samui Paradise is just that -paradise - and we certainly hope to return in the future.

The property is very peaceful and in a beautiful setting. Away from the loudness of Chaweng bars and restaurants but an easy walk to it , if you wish to have that kind of night life too.
The beach was clean and also quiet compare to the rest of the Hotels... we walked the extent of Chanweng Beach daily and we noticie how dirty the beach was right in front of the bigger Hotels which are situated in the busier part. We always came back to our little piece of heaven happy that we chose Samui Paradise for our stay.

The hotel was in a very pleasant position with the rear of the hotel directly on the beach. Villas are well laid out and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Plenty of sun beds with umbrellas. The staff were always polite and helpful.
A good restaurant directly across the road called \"The Chef\" which serves Western dishes as well as traditional Thai food.

Recommended. The beach and the hotel infinity pool is clean, ambience is relax n quiet. Breakfast is good but can be improve, like change of taste as the resort daily breakfast is the same and not much variety, will get bored with the food for long stay. Would also like to thank the resort staffs, during my last day, both me and my son got food posioning, likely to be the seafood from night market. The staffs were very kind to send us to and fro of their nearby Samui BangKok Hospital for emergecy treatment. Thumbs up for their friendly service.

Great resort with awesome views! The service is top notch. The staff constantly checked in on us and accommodated our every need. The pool is wonderful and LOVE the the beach access is so easy. The restaurant at the resort is good and provides the most amazing ocean views while eating. You also have the opportunity to reserve a romantic beach canopy that offers privacy. Only wish that they had a hot tub in addition to the pool.

The surrounding area around the resort was really dead, so we didn’t explore much. Not sure if that’s normal. Our room also was attached to the storage room for the resort staff, so it could be bit loud during the day if we were in the room. Other than that, highly recommend!

Right on the edge of the white sandy chaweng beach . Close enough to stroll into the centre of Chaweng ( 10 - 15 min ) for the many bars and restaurants , though far enough away that you don't hear all the noise from there. The food at the hotel is excellent as is the service from the staff... all very polite and have time to say hello . Rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels and beach towels every day ... also 4 bottles of drinking water free in the room every day. Well priced mini bar in the room and good service on the beach with the waiter .
Would definitely recommend.

Staff very courteous and accommodating! The room was adequate for our needs, however some improvements could be made. Our bathroom door was warped and couldn't be closed. There wasn't enough counter space for our makeup, etc. The curtains didn't block out the light at night and didn't close completely for privacy. There wasn't adequate space to store clothing and only 3 hangars in closet.
The robes, slippers, and umbrellas were a nice touch, though.

This place has cozy and tropical cabanas on the beach. The price to quality ratio is great. Location is farely close to everything but a few blocks from the raging discos and clubs so it was relaxing. The rooms were clean and relaxing as well.
I got a kidney stone while we were there and the relaxing beach cabana was a relief to have during my time. Not moving too much and finding comfort was needed for a day or two. This place did the trick!

I would not recommend staying at all- my daughter and I got food poisoning and ended up in hospital for 2.5 days. The owners was not empathetic. We were told that they had an outbreak of it and other people left the resort. We left after being discharged from hospital and went back home as were too unwell.

Very welcoming staff, exceptionally clean environment. Unfortunately there was building works going on but barely any noise and certainly not at unsocial hours. Our villa was beautiful; clean, spacious, close to the private beach, well equipped with linen, toiletries, beach towels and beach bag. Free drinking water supplied daily and very reasonably priced mini bar. Breakfast was in the restaurant across the road, where you are assisted by staff to ensure you cross safely! Food was great quality, hot, and fresh. Again, very attentive staff bringing you drinks from the self service machines! Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. Perfect!

Lovely and cozy villa stay

My wife and I booked for 3 nights, initially in a deluxe villa, but we had a couple problems with noise from the street and a weak shower so they upgraded us to another room which was perfect. The grounds are beautiful lined with little villas and lush greenery. Unfortunately we were stuck with rainy weather and couldn’t properly enjoy the pool or beach but had a relaxing time nonetheless. Service was great and the hotel is in a good location in a quieter part of chaweng but walking distance to the main strip. Breakfast was decent with a nice view of the beach. Bum, one of the restaurant staff, was very attentive to us during our stay taking note of our food choices and offering them to us when we came back the next day. Overall we loved the hotel and would recommend/stay again!

From the pick up to the drop off everything was excellent. We had arranged an early check in as we were arriving from uk at 8.30 in the morning. This was accommodated. The room from lovely included mosiquito repellant which was needed and replaced everyday. It was required. The bathroom was very dark which we mentioned on our feed back. The pool staff were lovely even setting up our favourite sun beds on beach or by the pool. Be warned there is a lot of renovations going on so can be a bit noisy during the day. There is a lovely bar just outside the hotel. Staff were lovely and prices were reseaonable. We had all our washing done outside the hotel. Cost us £12 for two weeks worth of washing. All the people we met were very friendly and were not in your face. Did noticed that prices outside our hotel were cheaper than further up chewing beach.

Samui Paradise is a very nice friendly hotel right by the sea. It is at the quieter South end of Cheqeng beach but still within walking distance of all the eateries and entertainment in Chaweng. Strongly recommended and at reasonable prices.

Not quite clear why this hotel is so high rated. It is rather a good 3 star standard. The service is good, but not better/worse compared to other resorts in Thailand. Buildings and furniture are in fair condition. Rooms, beachbeds & facilities have seen better times. Might be the pre-season effect (beg. NOV), there was a lot of construction going on, many bungalows empty due to renovation. While we stayed there, the bungalows around the pool have been reworked, including whole day buzz saw, hammering & paint thinner odor. We had whole week quite rough seas, maybe this is why there was no beach area as seen on the pictures. In fact, the waves were clashing against a stone wall which marks the hotel premises area, causing showers to the people lying there on the beachbeds. The water was full of plastic & rubbish, washed up by wind & current. Going into the water was nearly impossible, maybe better in high season. The pool is rather small. Restaurant was ok, but overpriced. The poolfront area will be arranged for romantic dinner after 2pm everyday, external guests will be sitting there in several tours in the evening. After 3pm there will be no sun, the location of the hotel will provide a lot of shadow either by the buildings or the trees. The spa is of good quality and very nice atmosphere, however far over the standard prices even with discounts. I would not return to the hotel a second time, however if you look for a quiet place with family atmosphere you are in good hands.

I enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately there were some renovations going on which meant some noise throughout the day.but I suppose that’s understandable.

Literally Paradise

Extremely impressed by this place. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Breakfast was fantastic for being included. Bed was comfortable and clean. Villa was just a few steps from the beach. Just 10 minute walk to all the tourist area.

Gorgeous villa on the beach

I searched for a resort with a traditional rather than modern feel. Samui Paradise was absolutely perfect. Nothing about it could have been better.
My villa was gorgeous; bathroom modern and clean. Aircon worked perfectly. They generously supplied 4 bottles of water each day and a lovely fruit basket on arrival.
Happy Hour was on 3 times a day!
Food and drink was very reasonably priced and no complaints from me with either.
Staff were amazing.
If I return to Koh Samui this is where I will always stay!

Overpriced for polluted area

Terrible, beach was dirty with sandbags on narrow strip of sand with dirty sea water. Bulldozer driving noisily passed constantly, as construction of buildings was further up the beach. Old tired room with busy main street behind and no privacy on tiny deck with garden in between...very close to each other., couldn' t believe it for the price! Breakfast very average and staff looking very bored and scruffy. Came here 2 years ago and it all looked a lot cleaner and sea water was crystal clear with white sand on beach. The breakfast looked wonderful back then and we felt the rooms would be lovely! Unfortunately everything looked bleak on a sunny day and would definitely look to the middle of Cheweng beach where the water is clean. Poppies is probably the start of where the water clears. Terribly disappointing and the clean up down at the river mouth should be compulsory, before the pollution and run off get any worse. Sorry Samui Paradise, we will not be returning.

Very nice and well cared bungalow resort!

The bungalows are all well maintained, clean, well furnished with daily water, coffee and tea bar. The house keeping and service of the staff is very good and always friendly. The bungalows are integrated in a nice garden and go up to the beach.
It is a very relaxing atmosphere without the busy nightlife of Soi Green Mango at main Chaweng beach area. There are a lot of small restaurants and supermarket in walking distance (10 min) available. The only thing what may should be noted that if you want go to Soi Green Mango area , the Tuk Tuks charge always 100 Bath, sometimes for coming back even 200 Bath, what is quite expensive. The breakfast is served direct on the beach in the restaurant and has a small international buffet, with an egg bar and some local dishes. Only thing what could be improved is the coffee, as this is just a instant from the automate.
All in all I can highly recommend the Samui Paradise and if there is a way I will definitely come back!

The staff were really friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy getting to know guests.
Bed was very comfortable. Air on worked well. Breakfast was tasty. And there was a decent range of cocktails available (I tested the whole list and can definitely recommend the planters punch).
If there was a negative it would be the pool is a little small and lounged can fill up pretty quickly during the afternoons.
But that's a minor issue easily remedied by the beach right on your doorstep.

Nice hotel with beach access

Pros
- Friendly staff and service. The staff found out we were on our honeymoon and upgraded us from our second night on.
- Direct beach access from hotel.
- Amazing spa with view overlooking the beach. With the promotions they had, we thought the massages were pretty good vaule and the environment was clean with good ambience.

Cons
- Breakfast was average. Ok for the package we paid, but for some who paid more for their rooms may feel a bit underwhelming.
- Distance. The resort is located near the end of Chaweng beach. So you either have to arrange taxi or walk (25mins) to get to the center. But being further away also means surrounding area is more quiet, which some may appreciate. There's a nice Thai restaurant around the corner, about 3mins walk (Phensiri) that's worth checking out.
- Pool is a bit small, so can be crowded depending on the day. We only got to use it on our second day (drinks were good and price was competitive). The other days were packed so we went to the beach instead.

Overall:
If you want a bit of luxury but don't want to break the bank, this would be a good resort to stay.

Great resort, some things to bear in mind though

Lovely little place tucked away on the Southern tip of Chaweng beach. We just finished a 6 day stay here. Staff is super friendly, rooms are nice and as pictured. Couple of things though: the pool is really small, more of a splashing pool than a swimming pool. Second, the beach is actually a very narrow strip, and accessible by climbing down some stairs first. Also they start picking up all deck chairs from beach and pool long before dark, in one case even before 6pm! Food and cocktails are great. Chaweng centre is a short drive away, and cost us 100b per head during peak times to get there.

We'll be back !

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Samui Paradise. It's only a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the shopping madness at the center of Chewang. The beach is very nice and staff were super attentive to our every need. Buffet breakfast included a large variety / choices (egg station chef makes great Thai style). Room - independent villa style - was comfortable and gardens very well maintained. Superb Thai restaurant (Phensiri) just around the corner.

Pros: It is a beautiful resort tucked in the quiet corner of the Chewang Beach but yet very close to main hustle bustle.
Cons: We stayed in the Grand Villa. What we did not like about the grand villa is that it does not have a mirror in the room. Also, the mirror in the washroom is quite high - not very comfortable to checking your dress. Bathroom in the Grand Villa is a bit congested. The bed provided in the Grand Villa is Queen Size which is a bit small for two people. Complimentary breakfast was ok.

This hotel is a MUST! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home. We travelled around Thailand for 4 weeks and this was our nicest stay. I will be back in the future to stay here for a 2 week holiday. The staff can't do enough for you! And the breakfast is very nice!

Fantasic location and the quiet end of Chaweng

All.staff are well welcoming and friendly. The hotel is ideal for people who want to be away from the crowds and busy nightlife. Both restaurants serve great food and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. Wonderful spa amenities also. Will definitely stay here again when next I visit Samui.
