The only thing this resort has going for it is that it’s right on the beach. The grounds are pleasant, but that’s where the positives end.

The rooms are dated and poorly maintained. My bathroom had a stained toilet seat, mildew in the shower, discolored caulking, and stained walls. The room also had mosquitoes due to poor door seals. Resort Wifi did not work most of the time I was there.

The food at the restaurant was underwhelming and overpriced for the quality. There were also not enough chaise loungers on the beach or around the pool, making it difficult to relax during busy times.

The biggest issue was the service. The front desk staff were consistently cold and unfriendly — no greeting, no smile, and no offer to help with bags. It felt like I was inconveniencing them. This attitude was the same at check-in and check-out. Restaurant staff also gave off a bad vibe.

They also forgot to return my 2,000 baht cash deposit, forcing me to take another taxi back after I had already paid 500 baht to leave.

I am currently staying at another resort on the island, and the contrast is striking — warm greetings, smiles, and genuine hospitality. That difference has made it even clearer how poorly I was treated here.

This is nowhere near a 4-star experience. At best, it’s a 2-star property with a great beach location.

Staff were great and the breakfast was good, the beach was quite nice also.
The rooms were in need of refurbishment and the bedding was not up to scratch. Maintenance appeared to be an issue from what I saw.
I would unfortunately not stay again given with conditions as they are.

Nice setting overlythe beach and Gulf of Siam. Food at the restaurant was mostly very good, though a bit overpriced for the small servings. The room was ok, needs better maintenance, especythe bathroom which was 2 out of 5. Front desk staff were great. The beach furniture was mostly half broken, dirty and uncomfortable. The rest was ok.

The hotel isn’t too far from the central of Chaweng but you need a cab or other mode of transport to get there as it’s too far to walk. It’s located on a hill just around a bend on a busy main road so it makes it challenging to cross the busy road and flag a transport down to get into town. We paid extra for a sea view and were on the top floor. There are no lifts so don’t stay here if you arn’t very fit as there are different levels throughout the hotel. The beds are very hard, although the hotel did provide mattress toppers when we asked which made it slightly better. The aircon is very noisey and we requested to be moved after 1 night as all you could hear was the bikes & traffic at all hours on the main road. The hotel were accomodating and moved us the next day. We were on the ground floor which was quieter. The beach is long but either side of the hotel is wasteland with rubbish, the beach isn’t that clean. The beach beds etc need updating. They clean the rooms daily however forgot on a couple of occasions but cleaned when asked. Breakfast is ok with Thai & European choices. Overall, the hotel is old and needs updating. The staff were all lovely but the hotel needs to lift its standards. We would not stay here again.

Value for money, but badly maintained !

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and it’s been neglected since then. The bed is like a slab of concrete, and the room is in disrepair. I couldn’t even open the front door because it kept jamming. The bathroom was a disaster—the faucet was loose and splashed water everywhere. I was really disappointed with my stay. The only saving grace was the breakfast spread, and the warm friendly staff.

We had booked four rooms for 10 people through expedia. When we arrived, the manager told us that we only had three rooms and for six people. He kept us waiting at night for 1.5 hours and asking for more money and at the end he very casually admitted his mistake. He treated us like we were thieves and ruined our night. He pretended not to have roll away beds.
One of the rooms that we got smelled like dead mice and one of the showers did not work. One room had a dead roach. Cleanliness was not up to par.
The hotel has a nice location in front of the beach and nice breakfast. If you can manage to get a room without smell, is a good bargain with great views.
The check in process was hell. Ruined the experience for us. Not a family friendly place. There are prostitutes on the property
My kids could not stand the smell amd wanted to leave immediately.
We checked out the next day and they refused to refund the rest of the stay. No one in this hotel cares about the guests.

The Impiana is located right on the beach in a quiet area outside of Chewang. They provide beach/ pool towels and the breakfast buffet gets 10/10. The beach bar staff, especially Chai were fantastic. Plenty of complimentary toiletries and small bottles of water are provided. A little slice of heaven on a pretty special island.

Not like expected

Our room wasn’t like expected.
We ordered Seawiew/Seaside. Got the bottom floor with really not much view - and really not much privacy.
The room was smelly (damp smell) and really humid (the duvet and everything was all wet).
We got another room the next day, after complaining - was a little bit better cause of the privacy, but no seaview.

The hole hotel was a bit “tired” and really not like the pictures :)

Nice but rather old Hotel

It's a rather old hotel, accordingly are the furnishings. I liked the location (outside of Chaweng) since I was flexible with my own vehicle.
I was a bit disapointed about how they care & clean the beach. There was one person which start cleaning after 11am. Nobody care about the arrangement of the sunbeds. And YES - I know, it was a stormy time when I stayed there. Nevertheless for the rather high prices they charge, I would expect more careness related to the beach even when the sea is stormy. The trash was just collected aside of the hotel which didn't really look inviting.
However - I will probably stay there again but not during Nov-Dec when the sea is usually stormy and the prices are high.

From the moment we arrived the staff took great care of us. They were kind, helpful, sweet, fun and thoughtful. The property has gorgeous trees and I can’t say enough about the quiet beach. It was truly heaven. This part of Chaweng is not for big partiers. There were couples and families. Everyone was friendly and calm. There is a pool table and beach bar for some chill time. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. I just adored our stay!

The bar and breakfast staff were lovely and very friendly and the hotel is right on a beach.

We were annoyed to find the Spa was closed as well as the Tamarind restaurant leaving very few options for food. Although the available food and drinks were ok they were very expensive in comparison to elsewhere.

There are a few places to eat nearby but they involve a walk along the busy main island ring road which only has a foot path in a few small areas and is not well lit. Not very safe!!

Most public areas and rooms appear to need a lot of TLC as there has clearly been no investment or upkeep for a long time. Looking very neglected in some areas.

Sadly we were also subject to a scam and lost 8150 Thai Baht (£200) which in our opinion could have been avoided if the hotel had better system and email security. No apology was offered or any offer of real assistance which makes us feel that maybe some staff are involved although they denied this when we suggested that may be the case.

A very disappointing stay and will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Property is outdated and unkept. Upon check in I was given a room that had not been cleaned. Then given a room that had a no working safe that was ripped from the wall. The new room was also filthy with moldy curtains. The beach in front of Property was not clean and guest where picking up debries and seaweed themselves. As compensation I was given 30% off a dinner....that was horrible also. Room pictures and decriptions are decieving. I would not recommend nor whould I stay here again.

Borderline 3 Star!!

Good point - Great location on the nicest part of Chaweng Noi with a great beachfront position. You can usually get a sun lounger, although there some tourists that still try and reserve some of the loungers with towels. The visual aesthetic looks great with nice gardens and reception. When you come out the hotel a short 5-7 min walk up a little hill you will see a parade of nice restaurants which are all worth a try. Def recommend Sean OGs restaurant - Amazing Thai food - Don't be fooled by the name. The hotel breakfast is ok with a decent selection, and good service for having eggs made to order.

The Bad points - The rooms are beyond tired. What you see in the hotel images on all hotel websites for Impiana are pics of this hotel probably over 10 years ago. This place is knackered to the point they have tried to sticky plaster degradation in the rooms so much its a mess. The bathrooms are filthy and cleaning consists of a quick mop and a wipe down. There is no proper clean , so much so you can still see grout wash on the walls from regrouting and black scum on all the shower fittings, which shows the cleaning standard. The TV channels do not all work and those that do have very poor picture quality - think when you used to have an aerial on your TV you had to move around to get a decent picture!! WiFi is crap. Drops signal and is pot luck if you get a connection long or strong enough to browse or check social media. Don't bother with lunch/dinner overpriced and bland!

Next to the beach the view from our room was superb. The room itself was spacious and comfortable but let down with a poor quality mattress. Air conditioning worked well. Hotel facilities great. Wi-Fi great. Breakfasts and lunches excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Happy hour 2-4 and 7-9pm. Free shuttle to Chewang Beach. Our one real minus was that the hotel is a little isolated with no shops.or restaurants close by. You had to rely on the shuttle or the songthawe which passed the hotel frequently.

Overrated hotel !

We spent the first 1 and 1/2 days in this hotel in the heat and humidity of Koh Samui without air-conditioning. First stayed in room 115 without air condition. We noticed that during the course of our first night of sleep. Upon pointing this out to hotel staff the next day , they send their engineer to look at the room. The ceiling next to the bathroom where the central air-conditioning was dripping with water. He said there was something wrong with the compressor and were told to wait ,. Waited for a couple of hours and upon further complaining they moved us to room 117. Yes, you guessed that air-conditioning did not work either. we waited another couple of hours as the hotel staff was probably waiting for some kind of miracle and everything would be all right. Finally I was forced to call Expedia to complain and they moved us to another room on the second floor with a working air conditioner.
FURTHER BADS
The rooms on the first floor which they note as luxury seaside are very small. They basically fit a king size bed and the hotel furniture with little space to move around. To compensate for this the sea side facing wall of the room is all glass. So if you have it open you feel like you are in a fish bowl is everybody is walking past you and if you close it , it becomes a bit claustrophobic.

2) The third room which they upgraded us was of decent size. Basically it is a room and a half with a nice balcony

Beautiful luxury hotel

The hotel was lovely, smart and clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the resort and the sea just beyond; the view was incredible! When we arrived we were provided with wet towels and cold drinks to freshen up. We were booked in and shown to our room, with staff taking our bags for us. As part of our stay, we recieved a complimentary 15 minute neck and shoulder massage, at their on site spa. Breakfast was included, which offered an extensive buffet and a la carté menu. The food at the resort was excellent, in particular the dinner that we had on our second night. The cost of the food was a little high, but expected when we realised the quality of food they produce. The resort sits on its own private part of the Chaweng Noi beach, which is right at the foot of the resort. The walk from the pool to the beach is probably 10 metres. The pool was a good size, chlorinated instead of salt water. The hotel is quite a long way from the 'town centre' of Chaweng. On our first night we set out to find somewhere for dinner, walking along hilly, dusty, busy roads with no pavement. We walked for around 20 minutes before we gave up and ate at the nearest restaurant. After dinner we walked on towards Chaweng, which wasn't too much further. We got a cab back, for 100 baht, which I'd recommend doing both ways; It's a long way to walk in the Thai heat!

Has seen better days and overall rundown

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon and for another friends wedding in a much nicer hotel nearby. The Impiana Chaweng has seen much better days with an overall rundown feeling, uninspiring breakfast and a lacklustre effort from the staff. I won't be in a rush to stay here again but it served the purpose for us to stay near to friends close by. Also note the beach massages although well priced can be incredibly hit and miss!

Wonderful hotel. Clean, comfortable, quite, the grounds are kept in perfect condition (pool) and lawn area. Set on a nice beach. They offered a breakfast buffet food was great. We also had dinner one night. All staff was attentive, friendly, helpful. Tried to book the spa but was unable to get in they were booked up. It's located off the strip so you have to taxi to get in to town. Booked for 2nights ended up staying 4 nights.

Stayed for 4 nights over new years.. Location is good best to stay out of chagweng unless you want to party all the time. Bach is nice bar area and breakfast area are good. Where this hotel lets itself down was the service from the front desk and mostly from the women working in the kitchen.
I would also say its over priced for it is. The room was alright but thin walls and slightly damp from humidity.

A pleasant surprise!

Very nice resort! Comfy soft bed, great shower with rain done, modern design, great views of the ocean, superb food, it was nice. Picturesque ocean front bar was heavenly. Book your romantic getaway here! I managed to walk to Cheweng Beach (where the nightlife is) as this resort is Cheweng Noi beach. But you can easily take a taxi for 300 baht.

it's a great hotel, quite, well maintained, outside of the CHAWENG area noise.
All of these can be positive but also negative.
I mean that the hotel is perfect for couples and families who look for quiet area, no noise, nice 4/5 hotel on the beach, with nice pool.
the staff is great and does its best.

the negative side is that the hotel is outside of the center, meaning every ride will need a taxi, and the taxi drivers knows that ($$$), and charge 300thb per ride, so at least 600thb per night.

Outstanding - we love this place, have stayed twice now. Excellent value, ocean view deluxe rooms are huge (bathroom just very slightly dated). Breakfast and restaurant on the beach is magic. Great location just south of Chaweng - far enough away yet close enough to the action. Will take a lot for us to consider anything else!

Good quiet location

The overall experience of this hotel was good, however a few things left us disappointed. Our bed mattress was terrible and was \"gone\" to say the least so much so that I couldnt sleep on it and slept on the day bed for the first 2 nights...before the mattress was finally replaced after 3 requests. The verandah door wouldnt look or close (not great for safety and security), there was rubbish on the beach, and the food was very average.

If you say, all you need is a good beach...

Superiour room was too small. Sink remained blocked though they've taken care of it. The AC was making lots of noise. It was almost impossible to sleep in the room at nights or sit at the balcony at day time. The matress was too hard and uncomfortable. Food at the beach bar was pretty bad and poor in quality. Yet, the beach, the staff, overall ambiance as well as breakfast and evening buffets were very good.

Nice resort , this is our 2nd time here. We booked a Deluxe Room and upon check in were taken upstairs to room # 301. My wife and I are usually not the type to make a fuss or whinge however, this time we were really disappointed. The room was not that bad but not at all what we expected (small bathroom,very small balcony,tired old lounge chair but good view of the beach).We asked if this was really a \"Deluxe\" room, answer was \"yes, Deluxe room\". Seemed to me to be more in line with what they call a \"Sea facing\" type room. Anyway ,the room was not what we expected so we went down to reception to ask if there was a chance we could change rooms, they advised us that the hotel was fully booked and could put us into another room in 2 nights time. Girl at reception very understanding and helpful. So , after 2 nights we moved into room # 310. This was a fantastic room , closer to the beach, large balcony , larger bathroom and very much what we expected. Loved the last 3 nights in our new room.
In my view , the resort is looking a little \"weathered\" in places but generally the Impiana is a very nice resort on a beautiful beach, the staff are friendly and attentive, grounds and amenities very good and the breakfast buffet is very good also.

I would like to thank the staff at Impiana for making our stay so incredible. Dinners on the beach, a fantastic daily breakfast, amazing location and an overall fantastic hotel. The service was immaculate! I'd definitely recommend.

Great stay at Impiana, so much so that we decided to stay on there a few more extra days! Staff are great, polite and friendly, although they offer a daily room cleaning service this would be my one only issue, the floors are only swept on a daily basis and not moped which I would have expected from a 4 star hotel, apart from this a great hotel in a great location slightly away from the busiest Chaweng area, hotel also provides a free daily shuttle to Chaweng centre which is handy if you do want to still go to town centre.

Staff is well trained and also efficient. Our request for takeaway breakfast pack was met without having to remind a 2nd time.
The only thing is - it is a fair distance away from Chaweng Beach area and requires a taxi or tuk-tuk Everytime you need to go out.

Great location onto beach

Having read reviews about the Impiana prior to selecting a hotel for my holiday it must be said that I picked the right place to stay. Location and setting is great as long as you get a beach/sea/pool facing room otherwise your looking(balcony) or backing(window) onto a busy road 24/7 apart from this the setting and layout is lovely with a relaxing atmosphere. All the staff are very attentive and friendly, even though not many speak English what ever is asked of them its done without delay. Reviews mentioned that Impianas (excellent) dining and bar prices were expensive but I found them on par with Chawenge resorts good restaurants, yes you could get cheaper but a lot of these establishments had no toilet facilities and you took a chance on staff hygiene. Basically you pay for what you get. Beach vendors have a good selection of goods, be prepared to barter, it's fun and can save you up to 50% and they would still be making a profit!! Theme buffet nights with music and shows in the hotel are very good and good value for the standard of food, varieties of wine on the menu could be improved though. Position on the beach is great, sadly you still have to contend with people putting towels on sun beds to reserve them, most of who do not show until late morning, SAD PEOPLE !!!! Taxis into town are available evenings opposite hotel 200Bht into resort 300Bht return after 10pm it's a good 20 min walk along a very busy road into main resort, hotel shuttle bus restricted by times.

Nice Hotel, Bad Communication and Service.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights during my time in Koh Samui. The hotel has a nice beach and good ambiance but my particular stay wasn't very warm. I thought I paid for a sea view room but I was put in a far corner room with no view of anything. In addition, the hotel staff were very passive and didn't stay attentive to my needs whilst on vacation. Lastly, I booked the hotel car to the airport and nearly missed my flight because the previous day's staff forgot to log my reservation. There was no apology for this lapse in service, just a \"pay us and leave attitude.\" All-in-all, the hotel is a nice location and nice beach but the service and my experience were horrible.

Lovely beach resort in a very quiet arear of Samui

Great beach and excellent facilities for drinks and snacks as well as dinner right on beach. Main restaurant very good but needed a more diverse menu. Our room was a bit small - nowhere to sit except on the bed - needed a couch or comfy chair. Bathroom very small with a vanity too small for two people. Staff at bars and restaurants very friendly and helpful. The resort is out of the main Chaweng beach area so it's perfect if you want a quiet time. There is a shuttle service to take you into Chaweng if you need a change of pace. I would recommend this resort if you want peace and quiet and just relax on beach.

My First Experience of Samui

The staff are very friendly and courteous which makes our stay more of a pleasure. However the location on the main road is poor and dangerous if you ever try to venture away from the hotel. The hotel itself runs a free mini bus service four times a day into Chaweng which is fine if the times suit you and there is a slot available. Otherwise you pay an inflated taxi price or thumb a ride in a cheap pick-up taxi...having crossed the road safely that is! My room was a 'Superiour' room which as it happens is the most basic and cheapest available. My wife and I found it bearable as it was quite small and the road noise could be drowned out by running the air con fan at its highest during our sleep. Room facilites worked fine, apart from the shower which was either too hot or too cold. We had a great buffet meal on the beach on one of the nights and the food was fairly priced and delicious. On our last night we could clearly hear our German neighbours arrive at 9pm and they continued to chat loudly and slide furniture around their room until 2am. The final straw was having our room stinking of cigarettes at midnight as they were leaning out of their room window having a smoke and the stench of their nicotine was being inhaled into our air con unit positioned outside their room! A quick call to reception soon sorted that and the smell was gone by 1am. This hotel would suit you ideally if you planned a holiday to Koh Samui only to enjoy the sun. sand and sea at the hotel resort.

Great hotel excellent service

Booked the hotel using the UK website from Thailand at 4pm Sunday & arrived 7am the next day feeling slightly anxious about the booking. Everything was fine although we weren't able to check into our rooms. The staff showed us several rooms that were ready but we had booked a seaview & opted to wait. We left our cases in the care of the reception staff & headed off to the beach which was excellent. White sand, plenty of sunbeds and attentive bar staff. The beach is quieter than the main resort of Chaweng but does have some hawkers although none that are too pushy. Food & drink is dearer in the beach bar than the small private restaurant bar 200m down the beach but the food quality at the Impiana is much better. Happy hour makes beer & cocktails more competitive with 2 for the price of 1 three times a day; the 9-11pm happy hour allows a nightcap on the beach before heading off to the room. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Chaweng which we found useful for sampling different restaurants & evening shopping. The hotel has an air-conditioned hospitality suite with complimentary coffee & soft drinks; a useful alternative to reception if you need a reliable WIFI connection. WIFI is free in the rooms but can be less reliable. We booked the hotel for a beach chill out at the end of a month holiday & were completely satisfied with the hotel & location. The staff were very helpful & cheerful, the rooms, main buildings & grounds were clean & well maintained. We would 100% return.

Great hotel

This is the perfect location and amenity level if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle of the main strip. There is a shuttle buss from the hotel or a cheap taxi if you need it so no problem there and you get to have peace and quiet with your own beachfront resort. A new gym was just put in and while basic fills the void if you feel the need while on holidays? I couldn't recommend any changes so if this fits in with what you want go for it!

Hotel is nice and close to beach at the end of Chewang Noi. Pool is lovely but a little on the small side.

The thing that let's this hotel down is the staff. The bar / restaurant staff are good but the reception staff speak very little English, are not helpful and are terribly rude. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

There is also only one car available for airport transfers for the whole hotel. Book early if you don't want to take a public taxi!

Hotel is great, the staff is very friendly. Everything at Impiana is perfect and the beach is most definitely the best one in Chaweng. It is very clean and the vue is awesome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation.

The only negative aspect is that the hotel is somewhat far from the main street in Chaweng, you can use the hotels shuttle which is available 5 times during the day otherwise you have to use the buses or taxi which can be expensive. Compared to pattaya or other places in thailand the buses and taxis drivers are very greedy and they will do everything to overcharge you. You might want to rent a scooter or car during your stay for the cheapest transportation.

Average, would go back at the right price.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early January. We opted for Impiana because it was on Chaweng Noi, a quieter and beautiful beach.

Beach is nice, resort is pretty, and an average of $165/night CAD with taxes for the stay.

If you want to stay somewhere close to Chaweng Beach it is a 30 min walk, but have a peaceful, not overly crowded beach, this is your place.

Why not 5-stars:
- My wife got minor food poisoning from the included breakfast on our first morning taking away 48 hours of our vacation. I suffered from a bit of gastroenteritis. These things can happen, even at pricey places. However it was the staff's indifference and lack of providing assistance that really soured us. At no point did they apologize or offer to do anything. The only suggestion was to go to the hospital, which we would do if my wife's symptoms worsened. I needed to be the driver for assistance which resulted in two cans of ginger ale and two packets of ginger tea. Again I appreciate this can happen anywhere but it was the approach that soured us. I ate breakfast at the restaurant the following day, although I only felt 90%, my symptoms didn't worsen.

- Also, in our room the water temperature could not be regulated easily. It really depended on the time of day if you got hot water at all or if it would stay the temperature you set it at.

Not deal breakers, but for $165/night CAD these are some basic expectations that weren't met.

We stayed in Impiana after experiencing 2 other resorts
The location is pretty decent and they offer a better shuttle service than other hotels (i.e. they run more frequent and later)
The hotel itself is not overflowing with amenities, it has all the standard features but the room was probably the least impressive out of all 3 hotels we visited although that's slightly reflected in the price.
The staff are friendly (as all hotels are) but the key thing for us was the bar and restaurant. We ate in a lot of places in Koh Samui and for the quality of food and price it was really good value. Both local dishes and international were nice and the bar (and restaurant) run 3 happy hours a day which is essentially 6 hours of cheap drinks. The cocktails were of pretty decent standard too...considerably better than some other places we tried out.

It met my high expectations

Impiana is a very nice place to stay. I spent over there 10 days in the beginning of Jan 2014. Very calm, clean and cosy. Nice breakfast with some Thai food to choose which changes every two days. In the evening they try to entertain guests with different offers: seafood BBQ, Italian or Thai cuisine which is served on the beach area. Live music is also part of the evening entertainment. There is also a bar on the beach which is very handy. The area is not big nor small but very green and picturesque. It is 10 minutes by taxi from the Chaweng, a main buzzling area with lots of restaurants and street shops. But there were a free shuttle bus a three times a day. I was a bit nervous before going there because you never know what you will see finally when you arrive. In my case I got very pleased with this hotel. It fully met my expectations.

The resort has a private beach that is keep well clean and less crowded. The room is always clean and breakfast is nice with the set up beside the beach. However the free shutter from the resort to Chaweng town center seem not working. we booked the transport on 10.30pm and waited at the pick up point from 10.10pm to 10.45pm, there is no sight of the shutter bus at all. Very disappointed with this...

Have private beach

I stayed for 3 nights in Impiana Samui. I have choosen this resort because I had very good experience staying here 3 or 4 years back.
The price for the room (December) is very good deal for the room we get.

However, the condition of the beach is slightly disappointed.
I didn't expect to see rubbish at a beach in Samui but there are many rubbish at the beach.
There are small rocks at the beach and you have to go thru the rocks before you reach the sandy part.

Serene And Comfortable Resort

Impiana was beautiful and is perfect for couples or families. The resort is kind of far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chaweng Beach. Taxis to Chaweng Beach are 200 baht each way and about 10 min. The beach is beautiful with plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas. I would recommend for those individuals looking for quite and a serne atmosphere.

Nice, depending what you are looking for

The hotel is in an area you need a cab or something to go places. We only stayed for 3 or 4 days, so it was pretty good, as the area is nice (i mean the beach at the hotel location), really nice water, nice sand, good food, clean rooms, chance to get a massage or do water sports nearby... But if you are looking for a place to do many things, this is not it. Your options for a few days are good and you will rest. Probably that's the best asset, the fact that is not in the craziness of the city center, so it is a relaxed environment, not too many people, the beach is not for you only, but pretty good ratio of amount of sand per family, so to speak. If you are planning for long walks at the beach, good to know to your right you may go about 4 or 5 hundred meters until you reach rocks and vegetation. To your left, you have more chances, but not longer than a 20 minute walk. Again, the area is really nice and the hotel has just what you may need for a few days, it all depends what your plan is.

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. We had originally booked another hotel but checked out of that one and checked into the Impiana Hotel. The positives: beautiful beach, staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel looks amazing, breakfast buffet was terrific, dinner on the beach was lovely...soo many things. The negatives: setting the temperature in the shower was a nightmare, the towel policy ( I get it and understand it, but on more than 1 occasion we put 2 towels out and they only returned 1 meaning they in theory would charge us for the \"missing\" towel). Tthe hotel is not in the middle of town and for some people it's a negative....didn't bother us at all.

A diamond gem of a bargain find!

For those who are looking for a bargain resort, I have to put in my 2 cents that this place exceeded all expectations. First, the resort is beach front, and is of very high quality, white sand beaches, crystal clear warm water, and a restaurant and bar right on the beach. There is also an infinity pool which was great, and the quality of the rooms were top notch. Will definitely go back, and recommend to friends. Also a plus: they had rental cars available that we could pick up and drop off right at the hotel. Second plus: the Spa/massage was excellent.

Perfect location for a relaxing break

Wonderful holiday! Ideal distance from town if you're looking for a relaxing break, easily walk able or 5 minute taxi ride, and located on a beautiful quiet beach with a choice of local beach front restaurants. The staff were lovely and a lot of fun. I'd happily return for a 3rd holiday here!
