It’s literally easy to find and very accessible to everything. The staffs are very accommodating, attentive to cleaning and housekeeping everyday. The space is best for partners, but if you’re with family, maybe look for a bit bigger. I appreciate so much the complimentary snacks, tea, water and toiletries are readily available too. In front of the hotel, you will have access to various cuisine, local food and drinks. If given a chance, i will surely book this hotel again. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station and also with bus stops.

Cosy room for a quick stay

The room without window was as expected for the price we paid. The size was sufficient for what we needed and the facilities were good. We did lost wifi connection in our room on the second night and the porter was also unsure why. They suggested connecting to the next rooms wifi but even that was a struggle but when it was working everything was fine. There were free drinks at the reception area as well as the room. They had no issues with us leaving our luggage for a couple of hours after checking out whilst we grabbed something to eat. We also got a reminder about an hour before check out.

Great hotel near Taipei Main Station

Had a really good stay at Morwing Hotel. It was a bit hard to find since the Google pin wasn't exactly where the hotel was, but once I spotted the sign, from the street, it was fine. Hotel room was a bit small, but that was expected. Room was clean, functional, and comfortable. Wifi was good. I especially enjoyed the bidet in my room (and was surprised that there was an advisory NOT to throw toilet paper down the toilet). Complimentary bottled water and snacks were an extra plus at this hotel. No free breakfast, but many affordable options nearby. Speaking of location, hotel is very close to the Taipei Main Station, with easy access to the airport and metro. Area is very safe and walkable. Also quiet at night. I had a very enjoyable stay and would consider this hotel again the next time I am in Taipei.

Overall, no major complaints or issues, just little small annoyances. For example:
- Poor design - There was no bedside table / shelf or outlet by one side of the bed. The toilet paper dispenser was behind the toilet instead of somewhere easily reacheable.
- Most hotels I've stayed in provide either a kettle or a thermos to carry water from the dispenser to your room. The water dispenser was on a different floor and there were only little cups.
- The cleaning staff only sometimes made our bed and never collected / cleaned the dirty plates & cups during our 4 nights there.

Very safe. In order to enter the floor, one will need to keycard to open. This gave my mom a sense of security. My mom got the cat themed room and she loved the cat cookies she got every day. The stairs outside of property had cockroaches, but was not inside the property. Room and hallway was clean and staff were friendly. Close to the Taipei Main Station and about 15 min walk to Ximending. Would book here again if in the area.

The stuff are very friendly, the room very clean, good medium firm bed and pillows. The bathroom just a right size, hot water good and water pressure. you have everything you need. Smart TV, AC works good, mini fridge, Free bottle water, Free laundry. The room design very well. I stayed 2 nights with window, 4 nights no window but slightly bigger room. Both are great on 4th floor. The cleaning lady doing such a great job. Highly recommended to all my friends and family.

The staff was super nice and helpful! They held my bags for me so that I could go exploring the first day I got there since I arrived 9am. The bed and pillows were very comfy! Air conditioner worked great. There was a fridge and complimentary water and fruit, so thoughtful! The water pressure and shower great! The only thing I would say that needs improvement are the floors but they give you slippers to wear. I was on the European Floor, Room 411. The location is perfect!!! It’s just down the street from Taipei Main Station which made it sooooo convenient to travel around and get to the airport on my last day. When I visit again, I will definitely be staying here!

We booked a 3 people room. The check-in was smooth, the staff were nice, ready to help anyway they can. Our room was on the second floor but it was very quiet. It was small thought so we didn't have enough room to place our luggage. And it was their largest room! We received a welcome bowl of fruits on the first day and then complimentary water and snacks every day we were there. There were mosquito 'heaters' in the hall which help with the elimination. Very close to the train station so we were able to take the airport coach to and from the airport. There are restaurants downstairs and banks to exchange money within a 5 min walk. They made the beds everyday and took out the garbage. Shower head is new and the rainforest kind. The toilet is a Japanese 'clean' your you-know what kind. I would definitely stay there again.

Nicely maintained hotel in great location, but...

This was my 4th time staying here. The location is excellent and the condition of facility is good. The only minor issue is the layout of the tiny rooms. I have stayed in many small rooms in Asia but the rooms here are especially cramped. In one room, there is a bed and a small desk, but no chair. To use the desk, you sit on the edge of the bed. In another room, the ceiling slopes down at a 45-degree angle, making it difficult to use the small space. Even in the bathroom, the mirror is at a 45-degree angle making it nearly useless.

Typical budget Taipei hotel - located on 4 floors of a random apartment building off an alley; not all rooms have windows which might not be for everyone (can be hard to wake up w/o the sunrise) and and walls are *very* thin but staff was super nice and helpful (spoke great English), they have loaner umbrellas which is super nice gesture (and practical given how rainy TP is), the mattress was very comfy, the room/bathroom were clean, the decor of the lobby/room has a ton of personality (which put a smile on my face), good wifi, and it's in a great location - super close to Taipei Main Station and 15-min walk from great shopping and dining areas. Overall, would recommend to anyone traveling to TP on a budget!

What do you expect from a USD 40 a night capital city centre hotel? Well I am very impressed with Morwings with several aspects that I wouldn’t expect such a place to have - for example super comfortable Seally branded mattress, Japanese style electric toilet and a rainwater style shower head.

Yes the standard room I stayed in was tiny but it is so well designed that it works - the bathroom is a practical size and in the very compact sleeping area you get a good sized bed (with that high quality mattress), a small room safe, fridge, kettle and a TV. The hanging space being limited and only one drawer were the only drawbacks.

The A/C unit is whisper quiet and the WiFi signal was constant and high speed. The room was kept very clean during my stay.

Add in that the hotel is situated so conveniently for the main Taipei MRT station and its very friendly staff (English speaking)and you really can’t go wrong here if a budget room is what you are seeking.

Great value! As i read from the other reviews, i knew the rooms were small, so it was no problem. Service was outstandingly friendly and helpful. The area is very near to the main trainstation and there is food and convenience stores all around. The bed was super comfortable and Ac worked great. I could not wish for more for so little money.

Checking in was simple and the staff very friendly and professional. The room was clean and everything’s provided for my stay (toiletries, free coffee, tea, water and laundry service). When you leave the metro station, you can exit M4, M6 or M8 to get to the hotel. It’s really convenient. The hotel is right on the street where you are able to find lots of food, really convenient to find food when you are hungry. It is located very close to Taipei Main Station where you can connect to other parts of Taiwan conveniently. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Excellent cosy place to stay in Taipei, with multiple local street snacks, drinks, convenience stores all on the ground floor, and within a few minutes walking distance to the main Taipei train station.

Room is ideal for those without much baggage as there’s quite little walking space. Each room is designed differently too, thus see your luck in which room you will get as you can’t choose. Inside the room there were more than 100 movie titles available for viewing for free to kill some time due to bad weather. Every floor is also equipped with a washing machine and dryer, and if help is required, the staff are always easily approachable and willing to help.

The most impressive was the service of the whole team at Morwing, that they went beyond their duty to allow us to have a wonderful stay. A staff had personally came down to surprise and wish my partner happy birthday on the actual day with a hand drawn birthday card and small cake prepared

Location is prefect, very near to Taipei station with lots of local eateries around. Hotel is located in a very old and shabby building but the interior is decorated beautifully. The small room has everything you need and the free snacks given were quite yummy. Not suitable for family with young children as it offers short duration stay (3hrs) for other needs. Free use of coffee machine at reception area and free use of laundry (self service). Staff are very friendly.

The location of the hotel was very convenient (pretty much next to Taipei Main Station). It was also really easy to communicate with the staff who organised taxi pick up and drop off for us.
You can also opt for daily housekeeping. The only “downside” was that it could be more spacious if you had a larger suitcase.

If this is your first time staying in Taipei, then the recommendation to stay near Taipei Main Station is a good one. This will allow you to get around the city, and more importantly, leave the city, very easily with public transportation. Morwing is a very affordable hotel. The front desk was very polite. The beds were super-comfortable, the housemaids very good at their jobs. Other than that, there's not much to say. Don't recommend for extended stays, this is partly because the neighborhood gets kind of old after a few days, otherwise a great value.

I've stayed at the hotel from 14 - 18 Dec'17 in single bunk bed Overall it's good for two persons to stay. Comfort and the hotel are close to Taipei Main Station by 5-10 mins walk. However, I understand that the room is small somehow the wall is quite thin as I can hear noise from next room (assuming they were doing something) on our first day of staying at night time.

The staffs are very generous and well-serviced mind.

Suggest the hotel should have a quiet sign in the room to request guest to lower their noise/voice at night to not disturbing their room next door.
