Very convenient location. Although the hotel is old but the room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Service staff is polite. There is a common room provides space for guests to reheating food making beverages and socializing. The view is also good, that you can see Taipei 101, Taipei main station and city view with mountain. Strongly recommended.

The Z2 MTR Exit of the Taipei Station is right outside the building entrance, and the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi is in the same block, there are plenty of dining options to choose from on B1 floor of the department store or the local stores from the street 1 block south.

The room was clean and needed some maintenance. Cracks in the walls in the bathroom, the door to the hallway had many rust spots. Amenities were sparse. There were tea bags with the water heater but no sugar. The heat worked well. I think I left a shirt behind and I need to contact Sky to see if they can send it to me.

Great hotel if your main attraction is not staying in the hotel.
We thought of it as staying in our apartment. Very large living space with a nice view of the city with its Mountain View in the background.
We had 2 bedrooms with one bedroom having a living room area. An adequate bathroom.
That’s all we needed and for the price it’s was unbeatable in my opinion.

Love the spacious room. Also having a refrigerator was wonderful. The hotel has a lounge where you can microwave and cook food, which was very convenient. The only thing that was a minus was the water pressure of the toilet as it took multiple flushes however, the shower pressure was great.

Regarding the location, it is very close to the M6 MRT station and lies on the Taipei main station line. Very convenient also the train station is across the street.

Conveniently located near Taipei Main Station with many ways to enter. While it does take several minutes to certain parts of the station (Red line: 10m, Taoyuan MRT: 20m) because of the underground maze it's still more convenient than multiple transfers to get around the city. The area is close to many chain restaurants as well as independent food stalls. However, there isn't much to do around that area itself and requires getting on a bus or train to get anywhere. The rooms are decent size and staff is friendly. The free laundry room is a definite bonus for longer stays

Great on everything! Staff members are very friendly and efficient.
Just a few things for improvement- the cutlery in the kitchen is very limited. I was told that the laundry powder should go with the clothes not into the dispenser. The detergent dispenser has a large piece of dry powder. Also the dryers require maintenance for cleanness. Other than that the hotel is excellent in location and its amenities.

My family stayed 3 times at this hotel and found it excellent when traveling to Taipei. Located just 4 minutes walk to Taipei Main Station, guests can use Z2 or Z4 (if need elevator) and get to the hotel. Lots of dinning options. Rooms are big and comfortable and it offers a nice lounge with fridge and microwave, and wonderful coffee. Staff are excellent. I'd like to especially thank Anna and Tracy for going beyond their call of duty to help hotel guests. They are always so friendly and helpful! Sky19 also partners with a local travel agency to offer transportation services and day-trips at a great prices to guests. We are especially thankful to Ms. Chan who is so kind and patient that we specifically asked for her in our 2 trips; she is awesome! We definitely will stay in Sky19 in our next trip to Taipei.

Excellent hotel and I stayed here three times! Only 4 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station so easy access to everywhere including the airport (use exit Z2 from station, or Z4 if need elevator). Has a nice lounge for guests with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Plenty of dining options around the neighborhood. Free laundry facility. Large, comfortable room sizes. Amazing staff...a special thank you to Anna and Tracy who are so friendly, patient, and went well beyond their call of duty to assist and gave great advises that helped us with our itinerary and saved us money!!! They both truly make guests feel very welcomed. Sky19 also teams up with a traveling company to offer transportation and flexible 4-hour or 8-hour day-trip services, and our driver Ms. Chan is so wonderful that we specifically asked for her to drive us around in our day trips. Will definitely stay here next time we come to Taipei. Highly recommend this place for its facility, location, and fantastic staff!

The rooms were really comfortable and clean, staff were all terrific and knowledgeable, the place has a lot of character.

Hallways were ratty and the carpet was very worn, but something about it was very charming in the end. Maybe it was the quiet piano jazz that played 24 hours...

As we continue to travel across Taiwan, I find myself missing things from this hotel that aren't on offer in the other places we've stayed in, like an easy to access water machine, a coffee maker, and a laundry room.

Exceedingly convenient to get to, just minutes away from exit Z2 of Taipei Main Station (or exit Z4 if you need the elevator). Located on the 19th floor of the building, the hotel offers spacious rooms, a lounge with microwave oven, fridge, sink, and water dispenser, as well as a laundry room with free-to-use washer and dryer. I have no complaints about the room at all - a large bed, three chairs, ample storage space, a clear TV, and a decent bathroom with a tub. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I would choose this again next time I'm in Taipei.

Tried very much to like them but so many issues occured. Tried to check in early but our room was not ready yet so we came back at 3:15pm (check in time was 3pm). We were told our room was still not ready for another 20 mins by a rude staff. We were also not told about the lounge area until after a day there. Upon entering the room, there was a puddle on the floor next to the fridge. When we alerted the staff, they said it was not from a fridge leak but leftover cleaning solution from earlier. Our room wifi never worked and when asked the staff told us to use another room's wifi since the pw's are similar. This is the hardest bed I have ever slept on (for reference, we had 3 other hotels in Taiwan prior to this one) - like a floor (no joke). In the 2 days we stayed there, the cleaning folks did not remove some trash in the bathtub and the fridge was left ajar. I tried to make use of the free laundry there - started a load in the washer at 9pm when there was no other washer or dryer machines in use. When I returned at 10pm, all 3 dryers were in use for 1 hour and I was unable to dry my clothes before the laundry closed at 11p. Found some non hotel guests from other floors were using the machines. On the last night there, there was a cockroach crawling on the wall.

The only redeeming factors of this place were the strong water pressure, location so close to main station MRT, and some nice staff who arranged an airport shuttle for us. Otherwise very disappointing.

We had loads of luggage and party of four. We also had diffferent sleeping schedule. Sky 19 offered a two double bed option with a door separating the the two beds. It was perfect for us. The hotel was clean. Unlike the Airbnb downstairs in the same building. There was free laundry room for usage 24 hours. The location is great. Opposite the central station. Easy access to MRT airport subway high speed rails and regular train. I would definitely come back to sky 19 hotel again.

Check in time is 3pm. We arrived slightly earlier around 2.15pm but couldn’t check in earlier. But no issue on that, we just left our luggage with the reception and headed out to explore the city first.

We book the double bed room with balcony (city view). Room is spacious and clean. Balcony was slightly smaller than expected. Bathroom was comfortably sized but seem a little old. Room came with basic necessities like toothpaste, toothbrush, hair dryer and etc. Shower water temperature and pressure was ok. Room is quiet and we were not disturbed by noises from other rooms and corridor. One downside though is the hotel room door is made of metal and my husband said he had experienced static shock a few times when opening the room door, so got to be careful. Bed and pillow is too hard for my liking, so I was not very comfortable sleeping in it but it’s just my personal preference.

Daily housekeeping was good, clean up the room properly and timely. Daily housekeeping till 5pm. Check out at 12pm noon. We was able to request for 3h late check out at the cost of TW$300/hr. Best to check with the reception on late checkout in advance.

Location of hotel is very convenient. Take Exit Z2 to walk to Taipei Main Station. There is a 24h Family Mart just downstairs the hotel.

Hotel is located on the 19th floor of Asia Plaza Tower, not at the 1st floor of the building.

Overall satisfied with our 7 nights stay at Sky19.

Super convenient, across the street from the Taipei Main station. Our 3rd time staying here. Leave your luggage here before or after your train ride to Taipei. Lots of restaurants inside Main Train station, Family Mart located right downstairs.

The hotel is located on the 19th floor inside a commercial building next to the Mitsukoshi department store. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly, and fluent in English. Hotel is not fancy but has all the basic amenities you would need.

If you can reserve one of the larger family size rooms, go for it. These rooms are super spacious! One of them even has a balcony that you can see Taipei 101. Definitely recommend!
