It's basic - if you want 5 star comfort and surroundings, then you will have to book somewhere else and pay a lot more money! This is a budget hotel with all amenities, very helpful staff and in a great location. Recommended.

Friendly helpful staff. Lots of extras.. toothbrushes, disposable slippers, Carmel corn. Bread, toaster, peanut butter, jam, teas, coffees, water dispenser more. Even free laundry soap.

My only issue is the shower curtain has lots of mold along the bottom amd sides. And stains that look like dried blood.

Very convenient location, just a short walk from the Main Station. The hotel room is very basic, but it was a very inexpensively priced option. The property is somewhat worn and shabby but my actual room was clean and fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed me to store my bags until checkin time as I arrived in the very early morning. I would stay here again.

A very good 6-day stay

The room is clean and has a modern touch. Also happy with 24/7 hot water. The location of the hotel is superior: unlimited Taiwan eateries nearby; next to metro and high speed train stations.

The easy access of a high speed train station is a must if you are going to visit other cities like Taichung and Kaohsiung in one day.

They forgot to clean my room after the last guest left. There were dirty sheets in the room and leftover food in the room. The shower curtains have dirty brown stains all over it and haven't been changed in ages. The drain is filled with hair so it doesn't drain. Overall just disgusting in the halls too but the staff were nice and it’s in a convenient area.

The hotel is at a prime location. It's very near the main station and Airport MRT which I loved about it. It's also right next to a 24/7 Mcdonald's so it's great when you need a late night snack or can't find anything to eat after a long day. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Despite the average room and amenities, what I really appreciated was that they allowed me to check-in two hours early and I got to rest in my room before I went out.

The staff are warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including reliable Wi-Fi and thoughtful amenities. They even provided disposable towels, toast, coffee, tea and a water dispenser.

The location is perfect — central yet peaceful — making it easy to explore the city. Plenty of dining options surrounding the hotel. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Can be easily better.

Pros: location, Room 819 faces the front door of shin Kong Mitsubishi dept store. ;next door to McDonald’s; easy walk to metro and busses, food, shopping; offered toiletries and filtered cold water and boiled hot water stations in the common area; staff held our bags before and after checking in and out; there is a lounge to rest.
Cons: curtains were full of black moldy spots. I told the front desk. See if mgmt takes care of it if you get this room. There was a no venting in shower so not a surprise this happens. Mold is a serious health hazard though so mgmt please be responsible. It is a very tiny room. Not for people with more than carryon luggage.

The wooden floors were dirty with visible dust in corners and hidden spots, and the bathroom curtains were moldy—something housekeeping should have easily noticed and addressed.

Very convenient location, and value for money for short stay. Stayed 2 nights and booked last minute. The only feedback is relatively poor sound proofing. I think my neighbours were for girls out for the night so they stayed up late talking very loud. Hotel did provide ear plugs which was useful

We selected this hotel for the location. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean. We were on the 8th level and wifi reception was pathetic. Internet was slow and kept dropping out. The bed is on a lower level than the entrance and bathroom. You have to be careful you don't trip when visiting the toilet in the middle of the night. There is a permanent light at the step to help you. Thus the room is not dark at bedtime.
I am surprised that no reviews mentioned the poor wifi.

I only stayed here for one night. It seemed decent enough but smelled really really bad. We didn't notice the purifier until the next morning. Also, the shower curtain was dirty and should have been replaced a year before.

If not for the smell and dirty shower curtain, this would have been a great spot.

10月に次いで2回目の利用。
空港からの直通列車を降りると本当に近くてチェックインまでがあっという間。
フロントスタッフも変わりなく安心感。
これだけ近くてこの値段なら寝に帰る為だけの宿を必要とするなら本当にオススメです。

アメニティも歯ブラシ、飲料、洗濯用洗剤など用意されています。
ただリンスが無いのでこちらは日本から用意していく事をオススメします。

また台湾に行くときはリピートする予定です。

The over all impression was better than i thought. The hotel room was quite new, small but perfect for a single traveller. Bathroom was new and clean. Front desk was very curteous. Front desk was only available from 7 am to 11 pm but that was not a problem for me. The main reason i chose it is because you can easily walk to the metro to the international airport and to the blue metro line to go east and the red metro line to go north

沖涼後沒有空間穿乾衣服，要開門離開洗手間至有空間穿衣，空分不便；
花灑喉怖滿發霉黑點，不合格；
浴室竟沒有浴屏，及座廁及浴室之間有電插位供電座廁洗滌用，沖涼時要特別留意花灑出水方向，免弄濕電插位觸電；
職員說是損壞待維修；前台登記時無告知有此缺陷，但仍給顧客使用，是酒店方管理嚴重失誤；

The room is small but adequate for 2 people. So conveniently located with the Taipei Main Station within a very short walk. Real nice people at the front desk the McDonald is on the ground floor and lively! There are so many good and cheap restaurants in the station plus underground walking mall. I bought several Chinese traditional dresses for less than $40USD. So many little stores with great gifts. Great stay!

Susie was very helpful upon my arrival. She provided me with answers to the many questions we had regarded Taiwan as this was our first time visiting. She was able to let us check-in an hour earlier and upgrade my room at no extra cost aiming to make my 8-day stay a lot more comfortable. Susie is always friendly and goes above and beyond for her guests.
The location is great and centralized, with lots of public transport options.

Had a 22 hour layover in Taipei and this hotel was great for what I needed. Got in late night, so I took the bus into the city. It was a 9 minute walk on mostly large well travelled streets to get to the hotel, and a 24 McDonalds is located next to the entrance. Even though I checked in past hours, the hotel was able to work out a quick and easy check in. They held my bags when I got an early start to the day. Biggest negative is the wifi. Do not stay here if you need wifi access as I tried multiple connections and neither stayed connected for more than 30 seconds.

A lovely choice

The room is nice and big and there is plenty of plug for you to use, and the lighting is sufficient. Yet the carpet of the corridor is very dirty and the air along the corridor smells damp and unpleasant, sometimes I need to hold my breath in order to pass the corridor.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it is less than 5 minutes walk from the MTR and there is a 24 hour mcdonald on the the ground floor.

I thought my booking was for a night but I was told it is only for 2 hours rest so I booked right there and then for a night.
the table was sticky, there was this one little thing crawling on my bed so I killed it. and for a non-smoking hotel, I woke up in the middle of the night because I smelled someone smoking. but in fairness, my previous bookings with the same hotel was very comfortable. maybe its the location. my previous stays are all on 5F and I got a room on 8F this time.

To find a bathtub in the bathroom and a gym in an inn setting is fairly awesome. Do take note that the inn is located within a shared building and the lobby is on the 5th floor just gotta take a lift up outside the entrance of Macdonald's downstairs (yes there is a 24 hour Macdonald's at the ground floor if you ever feel peckish. They do provide an adequate toast breakfast served with beverages and fruit in the morning so no worries on that end. The only downside i can think of is that the room layout was a bit narrow such that when i opened 1 of my suitcases fully there wasnt space enough to walk. Overall would recommend it for its value and location given its proximity to the Taipei main Station which is the main transport hub within the city and rail links to the airport and other cities in Taiwan.

The hotel is located about a block from Taipei Main Station, which made it convenient for traveling around the city using the metro. The minor complaint I had was that the hotel shares two elevators with other businesses, so there were times you had to wait a while to get up to the lobby or your room. Overall I thought the hotel was pleasant and would come back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small but clean and comfortable. There was the option to make the room over daily or they offered more eco friendly options. There was a laundry room; however, there was no space to hang up wet clothes that could not be placed in the dryer. The cafeteria was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the gym was often used for luggage storage so I did not feel comfortable using it. Make sure that the hotel knows if you are more than one adult in a room (they tried to charge us extra at check-in for our room even though the reservation stated that we were two adults). The location was amazing and made it very convenient to get anywhere quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay there again.

The first night the staff wanted to charge us extra because we were two adults. However, our reservation already clearly stated that we were two adults. The staff member eventually cancelled the charge but this was not a good way to begin our trip after 30 hours of traveling. Besides this, the staff has been excellent - kind and helpful. The room is very clean but very humid and damp which makes it a little uncomfortable because everything feels a little wet.

This was the 2nd time I stayed here. This hotel was just renovated, it’s so clean and new everywhere. The room was spacious even I have 2 big suitcases. There’s a glass door to separate the shower and the toilet. They have a coffee bar and provided free tea bags and coffee all the time. I will stay here again for sure.
