Clean and comfortable stay overall.
The room was simple but tidy, and I really appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea available in the lobby, as well as the shared space where we could sit together and enjoy takeout.
The staff were efficient and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room was very cold and could not be adjusted to a lower setting, but the staff were happy to provide an extra blanket when I asked.
I would consider staying here again for the good service and convenient common area.

The room was clean, the location was convenient, there was a play area for the kids, the tea and coffee station was great, etc. The reason I gave it a four was because at night and sometimes in the morning, we would hear a down pour of water. We thought it was raining and hitting the windows but it was pretty consistent during our stay. Good thing we had our super loud sound machine to block some of the noise out! I really liked the lobby where we ate in for take out! That was super convenient to have since we got sick and ordered take out for a few meals. We just wished there were shorter tables and chairs so that it was safer for our kids to eat at.

It is surprised to find out the hotel located only on one floor of an old old commercial building. Feel relatively safe, just weird! Very friendly and helpful staff. Free juice and coffee are nice. Room is good size and nicely remodel. Bathroom is considered spacious, shower is great, but they do have drainage power, guess it is an old building. Overall it is fine for 1 night stay, just across Taipei station

The room was spacious and very clean. Complimentary water and snacks were provided, with free coffee and additional snacks available in the lobby. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and massage shops. The nearest MRT exit is Z6, but if you’re carrying heavy luggage, Exit Z4 may be a better choice since it avoids the stairs.

Once you find Click Hotel, it’s a very nice hotel. It’s kinda hard to see the entrance cuz the hotel is in a shared building & the hotel is on the 5th floor. w/ a view of Taipei main station, a centrally convenient location w/ easy access to all kinds of transportation. The lobby (on the 5th for) has a very welcoming vibe & they offer some free snacks & drinks. The staff were very friendly & helpful. They helped me arrange my transfer ride to the airport . The room was fairly spacious & clean . I would stay here again.

This hotel is fine. It's not great. I was there for 5 days and and the dryer was only operational for 1. The wifi was terrible. If you need to do work in your room you were lucky to get 10 minutes of connectivity. The lobby internet was better. The location is the best thing about it. Very close to the main train station.

Rooms rather small with lack of storage space. Unable to dispose of toilet paper into WC is unacceptable.
Lounge area at the lobby was a plus with free croissant breakfast and cup noodles for supper.
The reception staff were average with exception of Eric!! He responded to my queries before my arrival promptly and managed to help us book dinner at a famous taiwanese cuisine restaurant.

Location was very good! Just a few mins walk from Taipei Main station which is linked to all the main transports (HSR, Airport train & buses). Downstairs is the underground malls, plenty of food options around, walkable to XMD as well!

Only slight imperfection is the location of one powerpoint that's in the way of the pillow (if u use that powerpoint, u will keep hitting your head with it).

My teenagers loved that they can redeemed free cup noodles from 9pm-12mn!

The service was good, really enjoyed all the drinks and amenities provided in the lobby area. I also found the location very convenient for the MRT to Taoyuan and other attractions in the city.

The main issue is the soundproofing of the rooms. I could hear everything that was discussed the next room over, and they were not speaking very loudly. This caused it very difficult to fall asleep and I had to use noise canceling headphones.

I would not recommend this property for that reason.

A little dirty, more room for improvement

The hotel is situated very near the MRT tunnel. They do not have breakfast but they do have ordering of breakfast service.

However on one night before the checkout, we requested for a late checkout as our flight is late night. We asked for 2 hours and they had only gave us 1 hour despite wanting to pay more. But this was not allowed.

Any way. There is no room service at all. They only provide to clear the rubbish. The effort to go green is one thing. But come on, for our room, they did not vacuum, they didn't even make an effort to make up the bed. The towels are also not changed. I think this hotel really need to rethink their go green policy.

Another gripe was the Aircon duct. It is filthy. Dust particles are flying around and landed on the bed. And yet they do not vacuum the floor. The dust are also at all the cornices.

The rooms are new. However things inside are also kinda annoying. The mini fridge is god damn noisy. We thought we could turn it off, nope. The alarm buzzed off if we tried to do so. The bathroom door was not able to close. The side table drawers was purposely screwed in to prevent people from using.

Overall. I feel that as a customer experience, it is not good. It needs more improvement.

Great Hotel Except for Thin Walls

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The bed was comfy, the rooms were nice, there's lots of thoughtful touches, and there's even a deep tub in the large bathroom. The only minus is the thin walls: I could hear a man yelling at his crying child next door; and they kept the TV playing all night and into the early morning.

This hotel is convenient and close from the station. However, it is within a old building where only the 5th floor belongs to Click hotel. The entrance to the building is a mess and even dirty, and one elevator at one side of the building does not go to the 5th floor. However, once you get to Click Hotel at the 5th floor it is pretty and they have games for children. Don't expect a good breakfast but they have coffee and bread for those who want to get at least a small bite. Over all the experience was goood.

This was the perfect location for my family of 3. Traveling with my toddler (less than 2) it was quite easy to get to different locations (restaurants, monuments, shopping) and go back to the hotel for her afternoon nap. The main station is right across the street, as well as the express train to the airport.

The smallest hotel during our 14 days in Taiwan. Air con broke down few hours after check in and was down graded to smaller room but refund was given. Cleanliness of the hotel needs to improve. Hotel occupy one floor of the building and has really small lift.

It is one of the more affordable lodging option in the area.

It is definitely convenient in terms of location.

In terms of comfort level, it's average, the typical bed and shower. Don't expect too comfortable a level.

The lounge was okay with free beverages and some biscuits, free croissant in the morning and free instant noodles after 9 pm.

The uncomfortable part is probably the toilet paper and toilet. Apparently guests are not allowed to dispose of toilet paper into the toilet, so have to wash yourself or disposed of the used toilet paper into the bin, which can be a little weird for some people.

The real bad part is the sound proofing of the room......noise can be heard from different parts of the room, either from the corridor or from next door, sometimes you can even heard noise from Aircon pipping and from the top.

Other than the sound proofing and noise, I personally find it quite livable and decent for the price that was paid.

Don't expect it to be a hotel hotel, it's more of an upgraded hostel with more privacy.

However, the sound proofing facilities is not very good that we can hear the baby crying in the room aside. We understand that it might be hard to avoid this, but the hotel had a construction in the morning at around 9am. We have woken up luckily, but I guess it would be quite annoying for the guests that haven’t woke up. I think the construction could be arranged in a better timing! For other areas, everything’s good!!

The Good:
1. The staffs are friendly and approachable.
2. Location is great as it is easy accessible to taipei main station, exit Z6 or Z4.
3. Short walk to Ximengding and lots of dining or massage options around the hotel.
4. Comes with one set of toiletries and towels throughout the stay, and free beverages, snacks, sweets, coffee at the lobby area for comsumption at any time.

What can be better:
1. Cleanliness of the room will be an issue. Although we can leave the trash bag outside of the room, lots of hair on the floor and bathroom as they do not provide cleaning throughout our 3 nights stay.
2. We were given room 501, which is just next to the reception counter. The soundproofing was very bad, we can hear noises of people talking, coffee machine sound around the lobbly and had a hard time trying to sleep. The soundproofing really needs improvement. Probably the rooms further behind would not have such issue.
3. We were quite puzzled and surprised that we cannot dispose or flush the toilet paper down the toilet bowl. Although the staff explained that it is due to easy clogging, we felt it is really troublesome that we had to throw toilet paper into the trash bin (be it pee or poo) instead of flushing down. Suggest the hotel to upgrade the toilets.

For today's modern budget traveler, this place is great. It has wifi, washer and dryer, located near major public transport hubs, and lots of restaurants & convenience stores. The drawbacks are small beds, only 1 lumpy pillow per bed, small bathrooms... more like short bathrooms. If you are over 6 feet tall, you will not be happy in the shower. There is no room service.

Again, this is a budget backpacker's delight of a place, but not for a vacationing person or family.

Centrally located to the Taipei main train, HRT, MRT hubs, underground shopping areas and many of the local eateries. The play area was great for young kids. We love the fact that there was washer/dryer to allow us to do laundry. Furthermore, the snack bar was constantly stocked with snacks and drinks. The staff was very helpful in arranging shuttle rides and keeping the rooms and common areas clean (despite the older building). We will definitely book there again in the future.

Managed to switch to stay at click ximending. Location was slightly far from mrt but the service and amenities make up for it. Kids were thrilled with the kids themed room. Though the building was old and lift is slow, the interior 10th floor was newly renovated. Room has a small window at corner. There were snacks and drinks replenished daily. Hot water dispenser at the common area together with coffee, tea and tibits. Morning there is bread. Free rental of tape to seal boxes of pineapple tart. No laundry at site (have to walk about 10 mins away).

Room is clean and tidy. Hotel has provided free drinks and tidbits which is very cool. First time i encountered a mini fridge that actually chills the drinks inside.

There is really no good place to place the luggage so they have to be moved around from one spot to another on the floor to prevent foot injuries. The hot water for showering takes more than 10mins to maybe reach the pipes so one would be shivering for a long while.

We liked the proximity to the train station and the reasonableness of the price booked. Check-in was smooth and rooms are large enough. We booked 3 rooms for 7 guest. One of the rooms had a sewage smell, probably due to the age of the building. We also found a strange instruction by the staff to not throw any toilet paper after use into the toilet bowl but into the bin beside it. We felt uneasy with this arrangement as we would usually flush it down to rid of any dirt of smell. Presumably this is again due to the age of the building and the pipes might get choked after flushing.

Hotel was conveniently located just across the road from Taipei Main Station with one of the exit just outside of the hotel elevator. Many eateries are situated around the hotel.

The facade of the building which the hotel is in is old and appears run down, my kids were apprehensive about staying there but once you arrive at the floor the hotel is on, you are greeted by a modern contemporary looking reception area.

There is a complimentary coffee machine available throughout the day and at certain times of the day, there are complimentary breakfast rolls and cup noodles provided.

Rooms are clean and comfortable with adequate lighting. Complimentary snacks, water and packet drinks are provided and replenished daily which I felt was really nice.

The area which I did not quite like are, the wall between the rooms are a little thin so babies cry or children's laughter could be heard. For light sleepers, you'll definitely need ear plugs. The rooms does not have any windows, the only windows are the ones in the toilet which mine was over looking the back alley of another building.
Upon checking in, we were told that all toilet paper and toilet waste are not to be flushed down the toilet bowl, they have to be discarded into the bins provided. This does feel a little awkward especially the bins provided in the bathroom does not come with a lid.

All in all, I'm happy with my stay in this hotel and would recommend my family and friends to stay there.

A great choice for value, comfort and convenience

Fantastic value for a clean, centrally located and inexpensive hotel stay. While breakfast is not included, they have a great free coffee machine in the lobby and had some small plain buns out free for the taking. The hotel is on the 5th floor and very clean everywhere from the lobby area to the rooms. There are a few tables and chairs in the lobby area good for eating a meal rather than in your room. There is also a washer and dryer machine and a filtered water station to fill your water bottles.

The room has a small fridge and they provide a couple of free drinks and free snacks in your room.

The front desk was extremely helpful including allowing luggage to be kept after check-out. Shower was good and beds comfortable. The only negative is the street entrance which is rather shabby when approaching the street level (outside) elevators but don't let it bother you since the hotel is a welcome retreat for inexpensive and very comfortable lodging. The street entrance is an easy 4-5 minute walk from Exit No. 4 at the Main Station metro.

Layover Stay

We stayed in the green eco room which was perfectly fine for our one night layover stay. No towels or toiletries were provided which is reflected in the room price. Bottles of water were provided and snacks in the lobby area.
Very close to Taipei Main Station. Exit out #4 and turn left. Look for the big Panasonic sign where the hotel is located on the 5th floor. Walking distance to Ximen and lots of bbt options and food places nearby.
Would stay here again when I get to return for a longer holiday.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Don't trust first impressions

As I followed the directions given, and approached the hotel entrance, I felt uneasy when I saw the condition of the entrance area. It was very run down, and needed more than a lick of paint to say the least. As the lift door opened, the inside was all boarded up, I thought to myself, what have I done? The Click hotel takes up the fifth floor of the building - other hotels are located on other floors - this is quite a common arrangement around Taiwan so I understand. On entering the 5th floor however, I was relieved to find that it was tastefully decorated reception area with a host of amenities available. (Breakfast could be ordered in if you wanted it - but plenty of eateries in the streets surrounding). The check-in was friendly and easy. The room was adequate in size (based on the location) - a double bed, a small desk, a fridge, a tv and a separate bath and shower in the bathroom. The room lacked a room safe! (This I didn't like). The light snacks in the room are all free - that's a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower was immense, and the hot water was plentiful. The wifi was slow at times, but it did work. The location is easy to find from the main station, there's a shopping centre under the hotel with a wide range of local shops, and the surrounding area has many food options - I recommend the pepper cake, a local delicacy just 30 seconds walk from the hotel. Peace park is nearby, and there are 7/11's and Family Marts everywhere. I would certainly stay again.

Convenient location

Great location, near to Taiyuan Airport MRT and covered underground to Taipei Main Station Metro and underground shopping. Walkable distance to XMD. Room is very clean. Only negative point is there’s no window inside the room, only the bathroom has the window.

The hotel is nice, clean, location convenient and with friendly staffs. Just that the family room we stayed was always with loud water splashing sound coming from the floor above especially during the night time. We are disrupted by the loud splashing sound and couldn't sleep well. Also the towels provided were with a bit of weird smell. Hope these can be improved.

Great place when traveling with friends

Great location just across the road from Taipei Station. Slightly old building from the outside which got us a little worried at first but getting to the front desk it was fine. Rooms were a little tight because of the luggage but it was clean and modern. Staff were really informative of the free drinks and amenities included with the stay. Some of the problems we had was with the room key, where the sensor was kinda old and was not reacting to the room key and the other was that we noticed some of the towels and linens seemed to have holes in it. Overall would say that it was a good stay for the location and ok for price. Would be suitable for a trip with friends.

Hotel is in a great location, very close to the Taipei Main Station, with lots of shopping and eating nearby. Hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel offers very many convenient services, such as airport pickup/drop off, souvenir ordering service, tours, etc. Rooms are clean and airy. Wifi is fast. Would definitely recommend!

Pros:
-Location is convenient.
-Two nearest exits from Taipei Main Station (~5mins walk):
K12 (need to cross traffic)
Z8 (walk through underground shopping mall and climb up the stairs)
-Hotel provides free snacks and drink in room and instant noodle upon request after 8pm.

Cons:
-Room 501 given is right next to reception.
-Noisy when guests pass by to their room.
-The only window in the room is inside the bathroom which opens to the hotel storage area. Recommend guest not to leave valuables in room as housekeeper will leave window open after cleaning up to allow room ventilation.
