Bathroom was moldy, had clumps of hair from a previous stay, and bugs crawled out of the sink.

There was a 1-inch gap between the door and the hallway, so light and noise came in.

There are no towels provided in the eco-friendly room.

Because there was no front desk staff, I was not able to store my luggage.

New May Flower Hotel is extremely outdated & needs major renovations. Walls need painting. Wallpaper needs replacing. Furniture is scratched/damaged. This property still uses keys to open doors. We rented the Eco Room. This room has no housekeeping service. Upon check-in, the clerk mentions that towels are not provided. I showed the clerk the Expedia listing. Expedia said that towels were provided. Clerk said Expedia is wrong. There was no point in arguing with the hotel clerk. Since it was too late to get a refund, we stayed at the property. A few hours later, I noticed Expedia had removed the towels reference. Our room faced the main street and we could hear the sounds outside. This room did not have a/c, but a fan was provided. We ran the fan 24/7 to get some air circulating as the room had a stale and musty odor. We thought the room had mold, but maybe it was just the wallpaper glue. Although it was close to the Taipei Main Station, I would not recommend this hotel. This hotel does have an elevator though.

You get what you paid for I guess? When we went there there was no one at the counter and we had to figure out how to check-in.. we tried calling and no one picked up, found a number to text amongst the many notices on the counter and someone finally came down.

The room was okay, bed was a little hard, wallpapers were peeling, felt a little musky, do note that they only provide disposal towels so you might want to bring your own towel.

Overall I think it was a decent stay for a cheap price, I can see why people with a tight budget would perfer it.

Nothing to say…

many hair and ants on the floor, then I got an another room, many hair and ants again, at night, the sound of dripping wake me up, I l looked up, a leaking from ceiling, my bed is getting wet…it was a mid night, no one was at the front desk. I couldn't sleep.
Next morning, I asked to change the room again. Front desk shouted at me something and wrote down \"12:00\" on the paper.
I was supposed to stay there for 2 nights.
But I moved to another hostel after that.

Great location

Stayed second time at this place, walking 5 minutes to main station as well as all the eateries around makes it a prime location if you transit through Taipei. Also walking distance to museums and presidential palace adds some bonus.
Hotel is old and a bit run down, however, for the price and location still a good bargain. Staff is friendly, but bring your translator with you.

Hotel at ideal location

The hotel is located very near to Taipei Main Station (appx 5-10 mins walk) and is hence very convenient to commute around Taipei. Most of the hotel staff are quite friendly except for a minority of them. Although the aircon is centralised, give the front counter a ring and they will adjust the temp for u immediately. Cleanliness is acceptable but overall a value for money hotel that is worth staying at :)

Dirty old hotel - cockroaches (in fridge & on bed), ants & bugs (got bitten); air-con is controlled by staff downstair (will switch off as and when they like it) and not friendly; provided a fan which could not rotate and staff stated no other fans; lift is small & stink; water ventilation machine in room but hot water not working (did not dare to drink).
Too expensive for such a condition, not recommended for anyone unless they renovate 80% of their existing stuff.

いつも利用しているホテルの予約が取れなかったため今回初めて利用しました。
立地、スタッフの対応は満足できるものでしたが、設備関連は過去一最悪だったのでとても残念でした。
部屋に関しては全くと言っていいほど清掃されておらず、そこここに髪の毛が落ちている、便座に便が付着、浴槽に茶色い液体が付着してるなど清潔感とは程遠い環境でした。その他、エアコン調整ボリュームが故障しておりまったく役に立たない。ドアスコープの代わりにティッシュペーパーが穴に詰め込まれているなど不満を挙げればキリがない宿泊施設です。二度と泊まることはありません。

チェックインで部屋に入った際、一部床が濡れていたり髪の毛が落ちていたり明らかに掃除されていなかったので自分でクリーナーを買ってきて床掃除をしたのと、小さい蟻が常にいます
冷蔵庫に水が入った謎の紙コップが2個あったり衛生面が不安でした
あと私が泊まった部屋はエアコンの温度を調整できなかったです
ただ台北駅から近い、西門、中山など歩いて行ける距離に繁華街がある、隣がセブンイレブン、ダイソーも近いなど立地はかなりいいです
九份などの観光地にもアクセスしやすいと感じました

台北車站と桃園捷運MRTから近く、交通の便が非常に良い。
近くにコンビニ、福州世祖胡椒餅、書店があって便利。
西門町、總統府、迪化街、自由廣塲へも歩いて行ける距離。

内部の状態は「昭和」の雰圍氣を多分に殘した……と表現できる。つまり、舊くて不便でそこそこの衛生状態の滯在を（この時代に）體驗できるという事。
（浴室の壁面には「冬季には湯の利用に不便が……ご理解ください」みたいな注意書きがある。）

「交通の利便性」と「建物の古さ」この二点のバランスを考慮して（覺悟の上）滯在する方が氣持ちの上でも納得できる。

あと、部屋によっては「タオルならびにバスタオルの無い」部屋もあるので、予約する際には注意が必要。

Metro Taipeiから近く、繁華街も徒歩圏内なので便利。Hot Tub付きの部屋を予約したが、チェックイン時に無いと告げられたので色々話した結果としてはバスタブ付きの部屋となった。やや手間がかかったが結果オーライではあった。

シャワーを使うとベットルームに水が漏れました。床が傷んでしまうのではないかと心配です。
フロントスタッフの男性は非常に友好的でまたこちらのお願いも快く引き受けてくれました。ホテルマンとして当然なのでしょうか？顔を見るとすぐにルームキーを差し出してくれます。私はそれはとても素晴らしいと思います。
台北駅の側で通りに面しているので車の音など結構響きます。気になる方は寝にくいかもしれません。私も疲れていたけど車やバイクの音で朝早くから目が覚めてしまいました。
値段もとても良心的でお風呂とベットがあれば十分な私達にはとても良いホテルでした。別の部屋であればまた利用したいなと思いました。

訂兩晚一張雙人床房，給了雙床房，回櫃枱查問時那個態度差「多給你一張床又沒多收你錢，沒有其他房，要不你就退！」，因為已經七時多亦不便再找其他。
回到房間整理行李，期間已經被昆蟲咬了多口，現在還腫起了。
門底縫隙很大，因近電梯，很吵。

チェックインして部屋のドアを開けると、散らかっており、掃除されていなかったので、フロントに行って掃除を頼んだ。10分ほど待たされた。
タオルがないので、聞いたが、タオルはないとの話だった。タオルは持ってきたので、問題なかったが、次に掃除してもらったら、ふろ場にタオルがあった。バスタオルだけがないのが正しい様子。
他のホテルのようにウォーターサーバーがあると助かるが、なかったので、駅で水を補充していた。
各路線の駅から近いので、とにかく移動や食事は便利で、部屋も悪くはなかった。
風呂場に蟻がいたが、噛まれたりはしなかった。

12:00過ぎに早めにcheckin出来たので、部屋に入ったら、清掃員が中で弁当を食べながらテレビを見ていました。
しかも、部屋内の清掃は済んでおらず、床が濡れていて、人の毛が落ちていました。
部屋を変えるよう依頼したものの、２つ目の部屋も床が濡れて清掃が完了しておらず、再交換。
3つ目の部屋は問題無かったですが、やはり安い部屋には問題ありました。
台北のホテルは、ある程度お金を出して泊まることをおすすめします。

部屋にもよりますが、不衛生。予約していた部屋に多数の蟻が...。部屋を変えて頂き、コバエが数匹飛んでいましたが何とか滞在。

ゴキブリが出ないだけまだ良かった（？）ものの、冷蔵庫や引き出しなどがホコリや油汚れなどあり掃除が行き届いていない印象です。髪の毛や蜘蛛の巣がありました。拭き掃除や掃除機で解決出来る部分も多く、お客を受け入れる仕事としてなぜなのか疑問に思いました。

ベッド自体は問題もなく、短い宿泊でしたので大きな不満はありませんが、なかなかおすすめできません。アクセス最高でバスタブありでこの料金なので、細かなことが気にならない方にのみおすすめです。アメニティは最小限、タオルは小さいもののみと、袋入りの薄く簡易なもののみありました。

こだわりがなければ安くて過ごしやすいおすすめなホテル。気になる点として、１泊のみの滞在でコバエ？に２〜３度遭遇したのが少し不快でした。決して新しくはないですが、成人男性が足を伸ばせる家庭的な浴槽がありとても良かったです。トイレの水の流れも、台湾では珍しく勢いが強かった。ティッシュが置いてなく、代わりの？トイレットペーパーが置かれていました。冷蔵庫が壊れているのか、冷凍室の下のトレーに水が溜まっていたり、汚れが見られたりと衛生面には欠けていました。総合的には満足で、あまりこだわりのない方の一人旅用としては十分満足できるホテルです、、

駅に近くバスタブありダブルベッドで広さもありお手頃だったので宿泊。しかし、かなり年期が入っており、外観はボロボロ。お風呂は広くて使いやすかったですが、天井に虫の死骸がたくさん。中国系の人が多いようで、大きな話し声が聞こえます。壁が薄いとかではないような気はするのですが…。ベッドは快適。テレビも大きく良かったです。台北駅地下街の入り口も近く、隣はセブンイレブンがあって便利です。周囲の環境は良く、スタッフも親切。
リピは無いです。

予算を抑えたい男性向けホテルかな

一つの建物に二つのホテルが入っていて、エレベーター、階段は共通。
しかも、一階のフロントは、夜間は無人で外出者のルームキーはフロントデスクの上にあり、入口は開放状態。
女性の宿泊は防犯上、注意が必要
建物は古く客室はかなり傷んでいたが、浴室も含めて清掃はちゃんとしてあった。
タオル、バスタオル、歯ブラシセットの用意は無い。
宿泊予算を抑えたい男性向きのホテルであろう。

很特別的住宿體驗

環境很破舊，發霉，壁紙剝落，窗外聲音吵雜。
還遇到兩個突發事件：1．因為門無安裝安全鎖鏈，打掃員工直接用鑰匙開門進來，我當時人在床上10分錯愕。（還在我入住時間內，我住三天第二天發生的）
2．我住在八樓，電梯從早上我起來，10點左右就已經沒有任何電力，打電話詢問櫃檯只告訴我在保養中，我問他說何時會好，櫃檯回我（不知道）然後對話就結束了。最後電梯到晚上六點多才好。

看過評論，我住的房間可以，酒店好像裝修，裝修廢料隨處放，8樓有水機，我都是在樓下7-11買了兩支水，浴室內有浴缸，但水龍頭要用手拉著才可輸到花灑真無奈，空調夠，但控制在前枱，如你交鎖匙就關，當你回來前枱才開，我發現晚上7時後會開空調的，大小浴巾各二條，因住三天沒有問可以補充，牙刷有而牙膏就在牙刷內，用水就刷得，整體還可以喇。

未如理想

清潔上做多點比較好，地上及廁所很多頭髮／蟻／蚊，床上有東西咬，房間有廁所味道，空氣質素痳痳，空調不足，住3個晚上，第一晚沒有風開扇，睡得不好，第二和第三晚開了風扇，睡眠質素有些改善。

掃除が行き届いていない。と、コメントがありましたが、私も同感です。床に髪の毛が落ちており　掃除に期待が持てず　7日間　全て自分でしました。ただ、価格や立地条件から評価すると　良いのでは。と、感じます。古さや清潔感を気にしない方は十分だと思いますよ。

台北駅の近くで非常にアクセスの良いホテルでした。
ただ、幹線道路が近くにあるためバイクや車の騒音がうるさく、朝はゆっくり寝れないかもしれません。

また、部屋の内装がボロボロだったのと、バスルームはあまり清潔感がなかったのはイマイチでした。

旅慣れていて、兎に角個室のら寝床を確保できて浴室があればいい、と言う方であれば。
海外初心者や現地語や英語が心配な方は大変かも。

周りにいいお店がいっぱいあって、立地がいいだけだと思います。ここを拠点とする連泊はおすすめできません。タオルとバスタオルは使い捨てのフキンでした。

房間清潔不確實，很多蟑螂

非常糟糕的住宿體驗。第一次住到有蟑螂的房間，一開始看到一兩隻就算了，打死之後，後續出現幾十隻大小不一的蟑螂，實在噁心。最後移開電視櫃跟床之後，才發現底下全部都是垃圾，還有吃剩的泡麵碗，難怪蟑螂那麼多，第一次住到房間髒到要自己打掃的飯店，實在太糟糕了。
