very conveniently located with access to all forms of transportation, food and shopping.

we had requested for a room that we had previously stayed in but were given another due to some hiccups in the communication. the first room was a little dated and too dim. the staff on duty Mr Huang was very patient with our request for a change of room, and luckily he managed to get what we wanted at Block B 18th floor the next day. it was newer, brighter and has a better layout which makes it feel bigger.

we also requested for a no-bathtub bathroom. it has a drying system which also helps in drying wet towels n laundry. however, it takes a really long while to adjust the shower temperature, and this wasted a lot of water.....

not all the units are under Master's management. others could be private residential units .

also note that the hotel counter service is only from 9.30am to 9.30pm. so do always remember to bring your one set of door card because no staff can help you unlock your room after 9.30pm.

there is a security guard on duty for the building (not hotel staff) whole day, but i do not know how much help can they render.

overall, it was a pleasant stay. we will be very specific with our room request the next time we come back.

syggest hotel to install bidet spray in d toilet

basically place is hard to find for 1st time but location is very convenient and room is big n equipped w heater but will b better if toilet has bidet spray...
Staff allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier which is much appreciated as we were tired since we arrive at 7am
1 of d male staff was not so helpful as he peomised to call me reqgarding my reqyest but failed to do so

We booked a room with twin beds and got the highest floor with a balcony. Toiletries were provided and room was clean. The water pressure for shower was good. Hair dryer was available in the room. Other provided items in the room: coffee and tea, bottled water, disposable slippers. Walking distance to Q Mall and Taipei Bus Station.

Reception opening at 09:30 is not great, when we checked in we got given a very small room with 2 single beds, not what I booked. Room should have been 46sqm and at least one double. English was a massive problem and unable to understand my issue. The booking confirmations did not describe what I booked and therefore unable to show them to help understand and rectify, as far as they were concerned it had 2 beds and that was it.
It did make the stay somewhat less enjoyable and the annoyance of not getting what I paid for isn’t great with little I can do or could do.

The first room that we were given were located at level 11 and it was a very old and dirty room with torn curtains, rusty cupboards, bed frames, door and balcony. Totally different from the photos shown online. Worse was the lights turned on and off by itself, the sound of the aircon was also getting louder as the sky gets darker. We suspected if was haunted!! we requested to change the room and was changed to a room located at level 12. This room was much cleaner.. but the lights at the toilet was also blinking non stop. There were also loud knocking on our wall at nights.. is was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable stays. It definitely ruined our holidays. The only plus point is the location. Will i stay here again when i am in taipei, the answer is definitely NO.

The check-in process and location where unusual, but once through that everything was fine. The room size was definitely not as advertised. It was fair for the price but not large as it claimed. I stayed here as a stop over with my family and it was super convenient for things to do and kill time.

Hotel was connected to the main Taipei station and bus station and right by a taxi station. It also had direct access to the Q-Hotel which has a grocery store and food court. It was a little bit of a pain to check in a few offices away and to take 2 elevators to the room. But we were looking for an apartment type room (separate rooms and living room) and this fit the bill. The washer did not work, but the laundromat was a very easy 5 minute walk downstairs and out of the mall. We had a kitchen, hot pot and large fridge which was helpful, but no dishes or microwave to make food. Beds were very comfortable. We were surprised when the front desk office was not open when we left so we just left the keys in the room. Overall it worked very well for our visit.

If you can find the counter to sign in. It’s a little closeted space with no real identity. The elevator to the room is on the opposite side of the building. The room is not what is advertised. For the price of the room, I can go to the higher rated names hotel!

Great Location; great stay.

Great and convenient place to stay in Taipei. Reasonably priced. Right on top of Taipei Main Station & Q Square Shopping Mall; a gateway to the high speed rail, taiwan railway and the subway MRT. Wonderful eateries at Q square. Cannot go wrong with this location. The room is spacious and clean. Great for a business trip.

Great location near Taipei main station and MRT. Conveniently located above shopping mall. One down side is that you will have to take couple different elevators to get to your room, so It was good that the receptionist took us to our room. The room is spacious. There is issue with fluctuating water temperature when taking shower.

It doesn't have a lobby for check in, it was only a small room on the ground level of the Taipei Bus Station building which is hard to locate for visitors. After checking in, you need to go around to a different building for the actual room. It's noisy and can hear all conversations from the hallway. There are also croak roaches in our bathroom...

The hotel rooms are very far away from reception, you have to go back out into the main street, into a building, then change lifts, very long winded. Room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, when I asked about this, they said they'd send one up so I could do it which is terrible service but no-one ever brought one up. My WiFi wouldn't work and they had to send someone to the room to try to fix it, he couldn't so asked me to piggyback off another room's WiFi which was very intermittent. There was no full length mirror in the room, very strange for a hotel room!? The only good thing was that it was close to Taipei Main Station and the shopping malls there.

The rooms are actually apartment, which was actually good for what we needed (three people, one double bed, one single bed) but it would have been nice to know this advance (I had trouble telling what the room would be like in advance from the website). The apartment was clean, but was very bare-bones. It felt a little like staying in a dorm room rather than a hotel. There was a nice courtyard at the \"base\" of the building (which was actually the 5th floor).

The location, right near Main Station was very convenient. There was a entrance to one of the Main Station underground malls right at the entrance of the hotel, so the station could be easily accessed underground or above ground.

My only complaint is that sound traveled very easily. I had trouble falling asleep when my father was up in the living room.

I stayed for 4 nights and it was dusty and dusty! the floor is marble but they didn't vacuumed at all. i could see the ball of dust on the floor and between beds are the worst area.

on my second day, I called the staff at the reception desk but her english was so poor that she couldn't understand anything. it was really frustrating. I chose this hotel for their location but that is it!

This hotel is more like a services apartment. What is great about this place is it's convenient location to the bus transit station and MTR. It is also very closely located to many shops including international brands and convenience stores, chemist and food court. If you're looking to be out and about for most of your day, Master Hotel is great place to stay!

I arrived the hotel in the evening and couldn't find the hotel. The listed address is the entire Taipei Transit Station building. I finally called the hotel and realized it's not a traditional hotel. It's reception/check-in is one of the \"stores\" along the street. Because the \"store\" has tinted glass windows, I passed it many times and didn't notice it. I finally checked in at the \"store\" and a staff member walked me to the apartment building, which is not a long walk; but if you have to take luggage with you, it may not feel like a short walk. The guest rooms are inside an apartment complex that looks more like a commercial building. Inside the building and the room is perfectly fine. It's just not a hotel in traditional sense. The location is great - food, stores, subway, are all in walking distance.

The apartel is old. Room is reasonably sized. Toilet is worn out, the door of the shower almost fell off. Staff is polite and allowed us to store our luggage with them for a few days while we are away to hualien. Nice view from the little balcony of our room at 16th floor (the highest floor).

I was very surprised and lost to find this hotel. The check- in reception office was far away to the hotel room. It was not inside the hotel. The staffs were not friendly. The room overall was clean and nice. The elevator to the rooms were so slow that you need to share with the residents who lived in the building. However, it is very easy to travel around and get food.

Entrance was a bit difficult to find, and we had to get on two elevators to our floor, but otherwise all good. It was a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. Good size room and comfortable bed. Wireless Internet worked well.

I did not like the hotel which I wouldn't even consider it being a hotel. I had to walk through a mall, then down a coridor, thenoutside the building in the back to walk through another small room to get to the elevator and then the room was extremely tiny. When I asked for a towel I had to go downstairs and ask the guy and he wasn't part of the hotel and I had to go outside the building, then enter and go through the mall to go outside to the little room no bigger than a bathroom to get the towel and more soap and she advised that she would bring it to us. Needless to say I checked out the next day. This was a joke and I will be asking for a refund for the two days that i had to pay elsewhere.

All things are great - friendly hotel staff, clean & huge apartment fully equipped with a dry kitchen, washing machine and clothes dryer etc. the location is excellent, just above Taipei station and linked to malls and underground shopping. For the price, it is definitely value for money.

However, the bed was too hard, and the pillows were flat and soft. Perhaps the hotel can consider changing them and everything will be perfect!

My biz partner and I have been stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The reception is at a shop opposite underground Y3 exit. The hotel has direct exits access to Taipei Bus Station and underground to Taipei Station. Outside of the main building has a taxi stand. Hotel is clean with everyday cleaning service. Towels are daily changed. Our room has a balcony with a small bar table but the sliding door cannot open during our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. However would appreciated they change the furniture in their meeting room at level 5. Public toilet in level 5 also quite smelly. Overall, I'm satisfied with this hotel.

Central location for easy access to other destinations

It's very easily accessible form the Taipei Main Station when one manages to orientate and navigate oneself successfully in the labyrinth of the underground walkways. It's location is, in fact, very central. An added attraction is the Ningxia Night Market which is about a l20-minute walk away. Each unit even comes with a spacious balcony with high stools, a matching high platform table plus functional facilities for airing laundry. Nice and comfy.

A great place to stay in Taipeh

The rooms we stayed in Master Hotel were clean and well maintained. The location is great for FIT travellers as all means of transportation are in the neighbourhood. The only disappointment was the reception where the staff is not as welcoming as we had experienced on our trip throughout the island.

These are really serviced apartments but you do have 24 hour reception. You have to walk through a maze in the Taipei bus station which is opposite the main railway station. The room we had was tiny with a king bed dominating the place ... About two feet all round the bed and that was the bedroom. The bathroom was very modern with good shower.
Critically there were no drawers for clothes although there was a fairly ubasic wardrobe with a few hangers.
Theoretically it's Convenient for the railway but you have to walk so far just to cross the road and it helps to know the way.

We were generally happy with the room especially with the 2 King size bed since it was a room for 4. However, the room was very dark. 2 lights were not working and even if they were, there was not enough lighting. The toilet was also very dim.
We wish there was a mirror in the room too. Very little table space too. The shelf for the kettle was too high.

Overall the experience was good as the location was a key point for us

We chose this hotel since it is centrally located, just 2mins walking from both subway and bus station. If you are taking bus from the airport, take Kuo Kuang and they will stop at Taipei Main Station (which is just opposite the hotel).

The hotel is comfortable although it has poor sound proof, so you can hear people chatting outside your room.. And it takes quite sometime for the water heater in the shower to heat up..

And reception office is small (i guess it doubles up as real estate agency too), but staff was very helpful, some of them spoke english too.

But overall it's good and worth the money!

Room with window, but it's like living inside a cellar,
Its dark outside during the day, coz the sunlight is blocked by opposite building.
Room design is a bit weird, Come with king size bed but the mattress is extremely hard causing me to woke up in the middle of the night only to find my back and buttock were really sore. Its not worth the money.

Weekend in Taipei !! Decent accom !!

Spend 3 nights at this accom which is like a private block where the whole floor is rented out for accom.
In this case, accom is on the 16th floor of the taipei bus interchange. Its behind taipei main train station. Check in is abit hard to find, is located outside Q-square mall, a very small office.
Check in strictly 3pm and someone will lead you to the accom for the first time. check in staffs wasnt very friendly...
Adv: Easily access to Q-square mall which have a fantastic foodcourt. Link to MRT, subway, high speed rail and big malls. The underground is like a maze !! To grab a cab, head to the bus station on Civic Blvd road.

Great Location! Will Stay here again!

Master Inn is a service apartment and not a hotel. So don't expect a restaurant with breakfast, hotel lobby, etc. The reception / check-in area is in the same complex but a different building. It was a bit difficult to find at first, but if you ask around people will point you to the right direction.

Despite being a service apartment, there's no kitchen, but people will make up your room everyday, change your towels and there are toiletry items such as toothbrush, razor, comb, etc.

Free Wifi included.

It was January and 8 deg C outside and there's no heating in the room, but the blanket was nice and warm. So it was a bit cool getting in and out of the shower.

Central location with spacious room

The Master Inn (recently upgraded and renamed as Master Hotel) was centrally located on top of the Taipei Station which is a main connection point for all major types of transportation. There is a shopping mall attached to it and no difficulty in looking for things to eat and buy. Room was spacious and king size bed sleeps 4 (two adults and 2 childs). Overall good value for money.

The hotel is basically business apartments with cleaning service. What I liked most is location of the hotel - a short walking distance to High Speed Rail and MRT stations. The check-in office is separate from the guest rooms, but not that hard to find. Hotel staff was very polite and helpful and room was clean. Hotel security is above most other hotels. There is a shopping center with food court downstairs providing plenty of restaurants and eating selections. Will stay there again.

We got a king bed room ($80 usd per night). The room was huge. Good facilities. The furnishings are a bit old (1-2 yrs) but we had a sofa and large living room space. The location is amazing, you will never go hungry. As this was located on the 18th floor of an apartment complex, there was two elevators required to get that, it wasnt troublesome and kinda made the place very secure. Doors are a bit thin but once you are in your room, you cant really hear the people in the next room.

We took a bus direct from the airport (NT 80 or something really cheap, took 40 mins at 6pm)

The staff did screw up several times though, First, they didnt return my passport, I had to realize it was missing and call them. And they called us at 10am one day to make sure we were ready to check out, problem is we werent checking out til the next day. A couple of fails there but if this is why the price is affordable, I m not going to complain. I think itaipei uses the same apartments too.

Serviced apartment in a commercial and residential block. Linked directly to the buses gg to other parts of Taiwan, but not to the airport. Short walk to the bus terminal beside the train station that does. Sm rooms are newly renovated while others have yet to.

We stayed in Taipei MasterInn on 1 Apr 2011, it still a pretty new hotel (or better called it as service apartment) and taxi driver doesn't aware its existence. It certainly has a super convenience location as it is above the various kinds of train stations (High Speed Train, Taipei Train...). However, I didn't expect they don't even have a reception floor or proper area for check in. We have to get off the taxi at street side and carry our luggages to go into their shop below the apartment building (which in fact is 1-2 mins apart).

For light traveller and need to take trains to other part of Taiwan, definitely is a smart choice. For us, we travel with our son (aged 4) and need to carry luggages to go up and down in order to access to the train platform was not fun.

The convenient location also gives you lots of choice of restaurants, good quality shopping malls. What's more...don't expect view from the room. The merit of MasterInn is location, location, location.

台北駅直結のマンションをホテルとして提供しているので、立地条件は抜群。ヒーター付きバスルームで、夜洗濯物を乾かす事が出来た。バルコニーには、バーカウンターもあってオシャレな間取りとなっている。暖房もしっかり効いて快適に過ごすことが出来た。

部屋はとても広く、清潔でした。
ベランダにちょっとしたカウンターとイスが設置されており、ここで過ごす時間は最高でした。
毎日、清掃やベッドメイクに入ってくれ、常に新鮮な状態で過ごせたと思います。
強いて言うなら、シャワーの水圧が弱く、そこだけが残念でしたが、コンセントの数も多く、毎日、水の補充もしてくれ、なんせ立地が良すぎて、今後も利用したいと思うホテルでした。

駅まで向かうのにスーツケースがある場合は下のエスカレーターがあまりないので不便

部屋は広く使い勝手良し。アパートメント方式なので普通のホテルとは違うこと認識しておけば何ら問題なく泊まれます。日本語はまず通じないと思う。

這次入住台北大師商旅的經驗並不太理想。
首先，從入住開始就覺得動線不太方便，必須轉搭兩次電梯才能抵達客房所在樓層。入住在18樓，本以為環境會比較安靜，但實際上房門外不知是否有機房設備，時常傳來轟隆聲響，影響休息品質。

另外，浴室的設計也讓人困擾。雖然有浴簾，但無論怎麼使用，洗澡後地板總是積滿水，甚至會流到浴室外，造成不便。

整體而言，這次住宿體驗與預期有落差，無論是休息安靜度或衛浴使用的便利性都令人失望，希望飯店能改善相關問題。

構われない良さ

常宿です。マンションの上階をホテルにしているところなので、清掃の時以外は基本的にホテルの人はいません。チェックインしたら、放っておいてもらえるので、気ままに過ごしたい、ホテルのサービスは必要ないという人にはぴったりだと思います。もちろん、フロントの方は親切なので、話しに行けば対応してもらえます。
清掃の方はとても親切ですが、あまり清掃自体は行き届いていないです。ベッドの後ろに埃があったり、たまに髪の毛が落ちていたり。その辺りを気にする人には向かないと思います。自分は到着してすぐに自分で掃除してしまうので、毎回気持ちよく過ごしています。

Qスクエアの上にあるホテルです。
皆さんのコメントの通り、フロントはわかりにくいですが、Y1出口の近く、黒いガラスのドアです。
スタッフの方は簡単な英語と翻訳アプリを使って日本語で説明してくれました。とても感じが良かったです。
夜間はスタッフさんがいない為、外出する時にはルームキーを忘れないようにとても気をつけなければいけませんが、他は何も問題ありません。
部屋はアップグレードしてくれたので、とても広くて素敵な部屋でした。
台北駅、中山駅、どちらにも近いのでどこへ行くにも便利でした。

재 방문 의사 있어요.

위치도 좋고 편안하고 좋았습니다. 소음 문제도 별로 없었고 베란다도 있어 좀 더 편안한 분위기였습니다. 다만 리셉션이 일반 호텔과 다르게 다른 곳에 위치해 있으며 저녁 9시 반까지만 운영합니다. 이 점 유의하셔서 예약 해야 하는 단점이 있습니다. 이점을 제외하고는 재방문 의사 있습니다.

hard to find, no lobby. the lobby is an office desk, no external signage. Rabbit wareen to find your way to the room. on a positive note, its inside a shopping centre. Once you know where to go, i guess ok.

Location is super, shopping mall and food court downstairs. Metro, local rail, Airport Express Rail and bus station are next to apartment.

Some apartment units with small kitchen depends on your luck. Room is spacious.

But pls aware no staff can assist you if needs after 9:30pm as they off from work.

ホテル立地フロントスタッフ最高です。

MRTの駅からは結構歩かないといけませんが
どこに居ても目印としてバスターミナルに向かえばいいのでとても助かりました。
雨が降っても地下から直接入れます。
ホテルと言うよりアパートの一室ですが
フロントの方がとても親切で快適に過ごすことができました。ホテルの裏にとても美味しくて安いルーロー飯を食べさせてくれる所あります

受付が24時間でないことと受付の場所と部屋自体が別の場所にあります。
受付がどこにあるか事前に確認して行くことをおすすめします。
受付の方は英語と少しの日本語ができたので助かりました。
部屋自体はきれいですし掃除もきちんとしてくれます。
ただ、バスローブはないです。
観光の際にはコスパ良いかなと思います。

직원분이 매우 친절하고 영어로 소통 가능합니다. 호텔 내부는 세월이 느껴지지만 깨끗하게 잘 정돈되어 있어 불편하지 않았고, 작게 포장된 어메니티들이 있어 좋았습니다. 무엇보다 타이베이 버스 터미널에 위치하고 있어 다른 지역으로 이동하는 여행자들에게 매우 편리할 것 같습니다. 시먼과도 가깝고 건물 자체에 쇼핑몰이 있어 둘러보기 좋습니다. 전반적으로 만족스럽게 잘 이용했습니다^^
