I stayed in a double bed room, has a small window, not spacious, but all is good enough for me. The room and bathroom are clean.

I selected Bee House as it is near Taipei Station, bus station and Taoyuan Airport MRT, the room has a safe and laundry facilities is on the top floor. Besides, the hotel also has a kids playroom on the top floor, a tidbits corner 3F, reading corner 2F and a cafe 1F. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a shopping mall and eateries nearby.

Bed mattress was very uncomfortable. I did not get a good night sleep for my entire 5 nights stay. Awkward getting into the shower tub due to the sliding glass partition door. Needs a safety bar to hold by the door when exiting the shower tub. But room was clean and orderly. Housekeeping was friendly, efficient, accommodating and helpful. Front desk and Cafe staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. Cafe menu can be improved by offering more authentic Western food, especially for breakfast.

Take the underground pass through the city mall to access the street where the hotel is located. The Ningxia night market is walking distance and it is a must see. Would stay here again for sure.

This is a wonderful hotel if you want to be near authentic shops and food stalls and restaurants. Near Taipei City Mall, an incredible underground mall, and Taipei Main Station near multiple train lines and MRT. Within reasonable walking distance to historic sites and upscale shops and restaurants.

It’s one of my favorite hotels so far. It’s tucked in near the Taipei Main Station making it so much easier to commute. I traveled with my family with my 6 y/o nephew and he loves it so much always asking when we’re away from the hotel when we’re coming back to the Bee House. Amenities are good, location is excellent, staff are very helpful. I would definitely stay here again:)

Service was by far the highlight for the property. Front desk was always covered with someone helpful and friendly. And cleaning staff were incredibly attentive.

I liked the variety of quirky amenities like the bath bombs, cute little reading room, laundry and gaming room, and a snack bar.

Stay at Bee Hotel Taipei

Location was great! Room was basic - very small with a double bed and bathroom. It was clean. Be very careful when booking - I selected to pay at property and was charged ahead of time anyways to which the hotel argued was just a deposit. Upon arrival I paid again and until getting my bank involved was charged 2X for this stay. I travel the world and this has never happened to me anywhere before.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. They had a washer and dryer available to do laundry for use between 7am-11pm. There is also a play room for kids on the same floor. A great perk was a snack room they had to sample and try Taiwanese candies and savory snacks.
Good value for money, excellent location close to Taipei Main station and many restaurants. Elevator is quite small and we had to take 2 separate trips down when checking out due to our number of suitcases that we had. They have a cafe in the lobby which we didn't visit but other guests did and an area selling souvenirs.

Excellent location right by main station. Walkable even with luggage, ramps and elevators along the way from station to hotel. Small space as expected but the room design is very space efficient. All facilities are modern and updated. Toilet has a bidet which is a plus. Quiet at night even though we are facing the street. Great stay if you don’t have too many luggage!

This hotel will not really offer big hotel rooms, and for our stay with 3 people it seemed a little cramped. Noise from other rooms is an issue too, and we had trouble sleeping sometimes. You can hear water running from next rooms too. Other than that it was pretty good. Convenient location next to convenience stores, restaurants, and Taipei Main Station. The rooms were clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Language barriers these days shouldn’t be too much of an issue with Google Translate. Would recommend this hotel to other people who don’t care about noise and space.

Although the hotel is small but it is fully functional, clean and convenient. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were informed of the free noodles on Saturday and snacks on 3rd floor. Cold, sweet tea and occasional snacks are provided at the waiting area.

Pleasant Stay at Bee House

The check in was fast and efficient. I was tired from the travel and was pleasantly surprised that the check in was quick so I could go to my room immediately and just rest for a while.

The room was small but it was good enough for me as a solo traveller. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and had a Japanese style bidet. The room is cleaned everyday.

It is near a 7Eleven which I went to every evening before I go back to the hotel. There is a bank just around the corner from where I exchanged money.

The staff speak English and they were very kind and accommodating.

I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I’m in Taipei.

I stayed in the hotel from Aug 3 - Aug 8.

A hotel with a real buzz!

A stunning hotel. The location is close to the main railway station (on the airport line) and local metro lines. There are plenty of shops, malls, bars and dining options close by. The hotel was very clean, was safe, had good facilities - and the staff were fantastic. There is a cafe / dining area on-site, noodles available for most of the day...and an outstanding sweet shop in the hotel. There was also a small games room (board games, darts, two racing simulators) and a library/reading room. The bee theme running through the hotel is very strong - and adds some fun to a very professionally run hotel.

Excellent service. They made our bed everyday, changed the towels and restocked the amenities. There is free self service laundry on the top floor. They even have a snack room where you can grab some candy for free. The walls are a bit thin and we did hear the neighbors but it wasn’t a big deal. The bathtub is higher off the ground than any I’ve experienced so it was slightly difficult to get in and out. Overall I would stay here again.

Considering the price point, that’s one of the best hotels we stayed. The hotel was clean and organized, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was good. They cook the breakfast to order, so it’s always fresh. The snack room is also a nice touch, you can get free snacks any time you want. Around 10 minutes walk from Taipei main station.

A pleasant stay

A very friendly and thoughtful little hotel. Staff members were very pleasant and courteous, anytime. Our room was well designed with lots of storage and features even though it was a bit small.

Hotel is close to and easy to find from the Taipei main train station Y section 13 exit, with elevator and escalator.

This hotel has a reading room, a free snack room (staff even provided a bag for our day trips.). Snacks were sort of chips, crackers and candies), free laundry self-serve machines (detergent not provided but you can buy). It even has a small gym but we didn’t take advantage of it.

Free breakfast was quite boring; there were 5 set choices (oatmeal, 2 kinds of omelette, sausage or ham with scrambled egg, along with a creamy soup, salad, bread and a drink). They were the same items everyday. We stayed for 5 nights therefore the breakfast didn’t excite us, plus the omelet and scrambled egg didn’t taste good for the first couple times, maybe they added too much some sort of powder to make it look like egg (??); the egg could not be changed to other types of cooking; we were told it was the egg issue, either lack of it or the cost was inflated unexpectedly.

Bad: The room is teeny tiny, compare to other hotels I lived in Taipei, this one is the smallest. The big guy won't have enough room to walk.:(
They put two twin bed together to make a full size bed, thus there is a gap in the middle of the bed. It's really uncomfortable.
They dump customer's stuff after they leave. I've never seen hotel do things like this! Awful! When I called they went back to the garbage to look for my stuff.

Really enjoyed my stay! The room was very clean, I enjoyed a nice bath. Very easy to get to from the Taipei MRT station and TRA station. AC didn’t work exceptionally well, the room was a little sticky. Also, I forgot a jacket and the staff emailed me and told me they’d hold onto it until I returned to Taipei after a weekend trip to the Taiwan east coast. Really appreciated it!!

Visited for a few days in January. The best thing about the hotel is that it is right off Taipei Main Station, this includes the Airport MRT, Taipei MRT, Taipei HSR and Train station.
The hotel is cutesy with every thing themed out. The room is small but highly functional. Free breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

Great budget boutique hotel w/fantastic breakfast

My husband and I were visiting Taipei this past week for a wedding and touring the sites. We wanted to stay in a hotel that had a local/boutique feel but not spend crazy amounts for the trip. We found Bee House - a great find with superior service. The lobby has a small bakery/restaurant that serves great lattes, omelettes, and breaded goodies that get your day started on a great foot. There are maps to help you figure out where to go whether it’s cultural, night market, or shopping. The staff is super helpful, and the rooms are clean, efficient, and comfy - albeit a bit small with thin walls - bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

There’s laundry and a child’s play area on the top floor and a place to leave your luggage if you arrive early or depart late. Wifi is free and reliable.

The walk from Taipei Main Station MRT is about 10 minutes, and shorter to get to the airport train.

We highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect. They took care of a lot of details. Even got a scale in the small lobby for luggage. Only complaint was the size of room. No room for two adults and two suitcases. Other than that and no view, it was a wonderful stay.

- There's no minibar in the room but there's a room for freeflow of (ample) snacks available!
- There's also a playroom for dart and car racing.
- There's also washing machine and dryer but not sure whether is it chargeable.
- Breakfast was not bad with healthy choice.
- Honeycake was nice.
- There are shops nearby and underground stores at Taipei main station. Hence, there seems to be quite many places to visit around the area.

Not so good
- Room was rather small even for 2 persons
- Bathroom was not very well designed as the shower head was too low. My hubby had to kneel down to bathe.
