Clean room, amazing staff and nice pool and sun terrace, with fab roof top bar for cocktails at sunset.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Also, great food in the main restaurant for lunch / dinner - excellent value for half board.
Beach at Karon was very crowded so didn’t visit, but well worth going to Nai Harn beach which is 15 - 20 mins away by taxi and is lovely.
Overall, a little run down & not a 5 star hotel, but fantastic staff and great value make this a good base to explore what Phuket has to offer.

The overall property was great. Short walk to beach with great restaurants and an amazing staff. Our last night was at Char and the entertainment was a saxophonist. Very entertaining since we are from New Orleans. Hope to stay again.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Room was lovely, spacious and tidy with an amazing view overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly, breakfast was amazing and the facilities were perfect.

For a 5-star hotel, needs some work. The rooms are bit dated but clean and there’s an unpleasant sewage smell from the toilets. Breakfast was decent with fresh juice options, but could be better for this level.
The location offers a short walk to the beach, but unfortunately you pass through a very smelly garbage area. Not ideal for families with young children.
Staff generally performed well, though the hotel was very busy during my stay. I had to ask multiple times to get my room made up on one occasion, which was disappointing.
Despite these issues, I’d say this was still one of the best options in the Karon Beach area. There were excellent aspects to the stay that I’m taking for granted at this price point, but the hotel needs to address maintenance and consistency issues to truly earn its 5-star rating

This is not a 5 star property, it's also not really a resort. These guys have gamed the Google reviews with some agency submitting fake reviews and pictures which are modified.

Please look at the pictures I am attaching since I stayed at this property, it's more like a 3 star property. The lobby and all common areas are nothing like the pictures show, it's small, not maintained, dirty and everything looks cheap. As soon as we entered we knew we have been cheated for the kind of money they charge, and you will feel the same if you still go ahead and book the place.

The staff was great though, specifically Shishir in the restaurant, and Sid at the front desk. Very helpful and accommodating.

The room was also pretty decent

I spent 17 days in this beautiful and cosy hotel. It was the best stay in Phuket I have ever had. It is so client oriented, so friendly staff at super location. The rooms are very big, well cleaned every day, white towels, and a big pool area. The only thing I can complain about pricy food at pool area.

My special thank you I wanted to express are to Cindi, Kirill and also chef Shishir, аnd Jayant.

I will definitely come back again and again. Thank you for your super kind hospitality.

Outstanding service. Phenomenal breakfast and food. Loved the pool and swim up bar. We were so thrilled with our sea view room (4th floor) as the views of the sunset were breathtaking and we could also watch the fire shows at the restaurant and see the pool. Really comfortable and spacious room and patio. The hotel staff put on a wonderful Christmas party in the lobby - with a visit from Santa, games for kids, a children’s choir, and appetizers for adults. It was amazing. So many additional beautiful touches, like a delicious stollen placed in our room and Christmas cookies for the kids. This trip was pure luxury and indulgence. Such lovely staff. We will definitely be back one day.

Good staff at hotel. Upgraded room, great pool, excellent breakfast and their top restaurant is very good. We were too tired to eat there and they delivered the meal to our room. The rooms are large and clean. The property is across from the beach. Air conditioning can blast and cannot be turned to a lower speed. Wish all hotels in Thailand got rid of their comforters and provide sheets and blankets.

Beautiful beach very close by. It was only a one minute walk. Good dining options nearby, which was helpful because the food at the hotel was mid and over priced. All the hotels in the area seem a bit run down, so this is probably your best bet… although the walls could use some mold treatment.

I can’t say enough about this resort, it was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch. The room service was phenomenal. When I asked if someone could come up and run me a bubble bath, they did it with no hesitation or delay.

The breakfast experience was just as impressive. There were endless food options and even a full juice bar, something I’d never seen before. And the highlight? Having breakfast served right in the pool. That was a first for me, and it was unforgettable.

The entire resort radiated peace and luxury, and I’m truly grateful for the experience. If I had one wish, it would be for a little less rain, only because it limited how much of the resort I could fully enjoy. But that’s nature, not the resort. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly. The rooms big. The location perfect, as you escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but are close enough to what ever you need. My only issue with this hotel is that, while they charge extra for drinks you can get for half the price on the street. (That parts ok) they then charge a service fee on top of this. Everything else is perfect for a great holiday

Hotel was amazing 2 years ago and remains amazing. The rooms are huge and the sea view beautiful. The pool is one of the biggest in Thailand and is always kept clean. Great team look after you and breakfast has everything you could want. Even room cleaning is efficient and friendly. Great location next to beach and bus stop to Rawai, Airport and Phuket Town.

We had an amazing stay at Avista Grande Phuket Karon for a very special occasion – my girlfriend’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. They upgraded our room to one with a private jacuzzi, beautifully decorated the room for the celebration, and even surprised us with a complimentary cake. 💖

The breakfast was simply the best and most complete I’ve ever experienced at a hotel – from freshly squeezed juice stations where you can make your own juice, to an excellent omelet bar and so many options to choose from.

The mountain-view sunrise from our room was breathtaking, and in the evening it’s just a short walk to the public beach to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. The pool area was very nice, the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and attentive.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the hotel doesn’t have a private beach and the dinner options could be a bit more diverse. But honestly, with everything else being so perfect, those things hardly matter.

Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a truly memorable experience in Phuket. 🌅✨

We enjoyed the location as it was a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and night markets. For those looking for busier nightlife Patong is a very quick tuktuk drive away.

Staff are friendly and nice. Breakfast options were great but we had to wait up to 30 minutes to be seated when we arrived within the last hour. It was also quite loud and felt very crowded. The sunbed situation at the pool was really disappointing. Not enough sunbeds for amount of people. In addition at least half of them had no cushion and it wasn’t comfortable at all. Rooms were cleaned with a broom but not once mopped in the two weeks we were there.

AVista grande is in a great central location it’s not a huge property but it offers a lot, the pool is great and the rooftop bar is fantastic
As is chard restaurant on the property. We also stayed at the surin which is fantastic and service was incredible so we had high standards but there is nothing around it, no shops and not much to do, AVista grande has great shops and bars very near by so you need to weigh up hotel resort v’s location !

No wifi access unless you are willing to join their \"club\". No restaurant or spa menus in the room (and also not listed on their wesbite), so we only tried one of the restaurants once on the first night we arrived (The dish was well below average). Breakfast was good and the service staff excellent. Beware of the bell service staff as they are untrustworthy, they organised a \"taxi\" to Patong for us for 500thb. It sounded excessive and I questioned them about it. I was right, we were picked up in a car that was NOT a taxi and we were indeed ripped off as we discovered on the trip back in a different taxi. Overall the stay was not a pleasant one, we were just a number used for profit, never again.

The place to stay at Karon Beach

We came home yesterday after a 6 night stay. We wish we had stayed longer and we were very sad to leave. The hotel is just beautiful. It truly feels like you're in paradise. We didn't get to experience The Chard, which I regret as it looked excellent. The food at Portosino is just delicious and probably the best we've had on a holiday. I am craving the food now!! There are one or two issues with service at the restaurant but managers are very keen to come over to introduce themselves and take on board any feedback. The hospitality generally is just excellent. Yes there are some issues getting a sunbed but there are shaded areas to sit with your feet in the pool. The beach is less than a 5 min walk. The \"hill\" is an incline and not a problem at all although I can see how it might be an issue for wheelchair users. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely come back to this hotel.

The property could do with an upgrade, the bathrooms seem dated and have a smell, the headboard on our bed had a musky scent as well. The location is excellent and the beach is 2 mins walking distance, it’s a really nice calm beach with clear waters. Also the hotel
Lobby and hallways doesn’t have any ac and it’s really hot!!! There’s only one elevator which takes forever to get up to the room and it’s small with no ac. The pool is really nice however and we enjoyed the swim up bar a lot. The area is really lovely and convenient.

Läget är toppen! Nära till restauranger och shopping, gångavstånd till både Karon och Kata beach samt lätt att ta en tuk tuk eller taxi till andra ställen. Personalen med SinDee i spetsen var fantastiska! TACK! Bra frukost men du kan inte sitta utomhus utan inne med kall AC… Poolen för kall för min smak och aldrig några solstolar lediga direkt vid poolen. Folk lade handdukar och paxade dem från tidig morgon. De nedersta våningarna är fuktiga och luktar mögel men högre upp var det mycket bättre och utsikten magisk, såg solnedgången från balkongen varje kväll. Är överlag mycket nöjd!

Nice and clean hotel. We had a moisture problem in the room and they solved it immediately. Very responsive and quick service.
The half board selection is not quite good though. You eat from the same menu every single night which becomes boring after some time. I would prefer some sort of credit so that we can go to different restaurants and eat from different menus. If you can eat outside, I would go for only breakfast included option.
Pool is big and clean, Very good spa and massage options. Although it is 2 min walking distance, Hotel does not have beach front access. Great beach though.
I would definitely go again to this Hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel with our young family-the pool, room, amenities and staff were amazing. The breakfast every morning was superb. We enjoyed that there were dining options, excursions and beach nearby too. The spa was also fantastic. Our son loved the kids club too. Very detailed and thoughtful service all around. The one downside was no lifeguard at the pool despite lots of children. One father was showing their children how to dive in the shallow water and there was an incident prior to us arriving. The size, layout and numbers should expect a life guard at an international hotel chain like Accor.

Our stay was ok. The staff were really lovely but unfortunately we had cold water our entire stay. We also had to queue for the breakfast buffet. There was also a closed section of sunbeds for our entire stay. Our room was lovely and clean, and when we complained about the cold water we were kindly gifted a lovely meal and credit to use. Overall it was ok but unfortunately we won’t be back.

A beautifully kept hotel in a great location. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were large with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection with good seating. The pool area is a good size with no issues with getting a bed during our stay as people didn’t tend to stay there all day. The beach is 2 mins walk over the road. We liked this end of Karon closer to Kata. Plenty of great restaurant options. There is a nice gym facility with yoga and exercise classes available too. A great stay.

Overall the stay was ok but we found the food menu offer for half-board quite limited, after suffer food posining eating outside the hotel the food in the hotel is quite limited with no fish or meat offer apart from chicken. If you are happy to pay extra then yes you can get options, the drinks were quite priced as well for what we are use too. Another problem is the sun beds, there is quite a mini war to get a pair when you look for it, good luck on the hunt...

Close to beach, comfy room with very nice pool

Lovely modern and artistic/ somewhat Arabic themed hotel located 4 min walk to beach. Amazing pool with swim up bar . Decent breakfast spread. Got premium room with whirlpool on one of the balconies. Very nice, worked well good ac , good lighting options. Decent double shower room. large gym, two restaurants- breakfast was good. Staff very 5star especially ‘Milk’.

Very nice facilities with great pool, front desk and bell desk staff were very polite and helpful. Car parking was convenient and close to lots of good restaurants and night markets nearby. The beach was just a few min walk away.

Housekeeping a little strange, didn’t provide additional toothpaste even though we stayed for three nights and used up the small packet. Also took away the additional blanket we asked for. Having said that, the room was beautiful and we love the whirlpool and washroom with two shower heads. When we asked for lower pillows and an extra blanket, the staff came by quickly. Overall it’s a great choice at Karon Beach.

We had an incredible stay at this resort! Everything was so clean, and the amazing restaurants were a highlight—especially the Tomahawk steak we had for our anniversary, which was perfection and big enough to share with our kids. The pool was fantastic, and room service was on point. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s a great place to stay with kids, and the spa experience was really relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel for a family getaway!
