I paid a premium for a beach-view room but was assigned a pool-view one instead. When I raised the issue, staff dismissed it, noting only a partial beach glimpse was visible by leaning over—far short of expectations.Upon check-in, the air conditioning was non-functional. Curtains didn’t work, scale was non functional. Had to call numerous time to get one thing complete.Pool staff displayed consistent rudeness, appearing disengaged and jaded. Customer service overall was underwhelming, with restrictive policies on pool towels and buffet was below average.
The complimentary shuttle operated without organization, resulting in chaotic conditions unsuitable for families with young children—we ceased using it immediately.
Entertainment continued until 10 p.m. right front of pool, so couldn’t get the kids to bed early.These issues collectively undermined our stay and raise concerns about leadership and operational standards. Grandworld is a big fail with low quality foods and predatory price gouging. Pay for 5 star and get 2 star treatment. It’s one and done for us.

If you're travelling with kids this hotel is fantastic for the services and activities on offer. It's not, however, a 5 star hotel - at least not by Eurpoean standards. Rooms are worn, staff aren't particularly friendly and speak poor English, and service is slooooow across the board. There's zero luxury - although the building looks impressive.

What really got to us was the noise level across all areas of the resort. First of all the rooms are not soundproof at all - and there are some very loud daily activities in the pool area that are really disrupting. You can also hear the cleaning staff yelling outside the door, or even just someone having a conversation in the hallway.

The beach is equally hectic, crammed full of sunbeds, loud music, screaming and very little peace.

The resort has two casinos which attract a certain clientele - so if you're looking to gamble, drink vodka, and listen to very loud music then you'll probably enjoy your time here.

The italian restaurant had excellent food though, even if you had to wait a long time for it to arrive.

Smooth airport transfer and check-in. Stayed in a Deluxe Suite Ocean View—nice view but a bit far from the sea. Breakfast was okay. The hotel felt overcrowded. During my checkout, I felt like staff were stretched and the process took longer. The stay was okay probably I went during their peak season.

Our beachfront villa was amazing and could not be faulted. It was a bit annoying having to pay for everything as you go rather than just apply it to the room. Every drink and meal, around the pool or in a restaurant, had to be paid for there and then. Even room service. It was strange for a 5 star hotel. A couple more wines in their selection wouldn’t go a stray. 😁 In saying that, we had a wonderful stay.

It is located right by the beach. Staff are really nice and they even provide complimentary transport from airport to hotel. Moreover, complimentary shuttle to Vinwonders and grand world. For airport shuttle, make sure to reserve ahead of time. But amazing place to stay at if want a tropical getaway.

The area is close to the northern part of the island, The surrounding areas are walkable even though it is hot to do that at noon. I am glad that I choose this hotel even though I didn't know much about it in the beginning. I definitely come back and stay at this hotel

We cannot fault the Wyndham, we loved our stay kids club staff were fantastic!! Breakfast options were aplenty the pool and surrounds beautiful!! It’s really well priced and close to everything we struggled with not many staff knowing much English but Tung (I hope I spelt correctly) on the front of house was amazing he could not have been more helpful pointing us in the right direction everytime he is an absolute credit to the Wyndham. we would definitely recommend this place everything you need in one place.

Our plan was to stay 2 weeks but we extended another 2 weeks. First time in phu quoc hotel treated us like we were at home. Service of the hotel was great also staff is excellent. Especially manager Tom helped us so much his kindness was way out of league, also kid zone staffs are so kind. Also food and location were excellent. I hade a great almost 1 month of time here in Wyndham Grand hotel. Thank you so much we will be back next year.

We had an amazing time at the Wyndham. The reception staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We got extra beds in our rooms without charge. The free airport shuttle was a blessing. This is definitely the place to stay in Phu Quoc. The hotel had free shuttles to VinWorld and Gramd world. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. We would recommend the hotel anytime. Good value for money. They also did not take incidental deposit like most hotels. Thank you.

This is one of the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. The room was dirty, the pillows smelled bad. The room was booked non smoking but smelled cigarette and cigarettes trays were in the room. Breakfast was terrible. Check in was bad .. lobby full of people without masks. Long waiting to check in. Will never stay at this hotel again . Do not recommend this hotel to anyone

I am from the USA stayed 3 nights in March 2022. This hotel is the best option for children. My daughter liked the pool and there is a daycare option with a play area inside. My daughter really enjoyed the indoor play area. Every meal is many options so children with specific tastes can be catered to. The staff are very nice there was no negativity at all with anything. It is a very professional property I was extremely impressed at one point in my trip I actually thought that the leaders of the hotel I likely travel around the world to conferences. Because it reminds me of the best hotels everywhere

Excellent facilities and service. During our stay , we lost a envelop with value over 2000 USD and reported to Hotel. Eventually we had to leave for airport next morning hopelessly. Then the hotel called up in the afternoon to inform that my asset was found. They asked for bank account and wire transfer right the way. Excellent!

Great reception staff. Overcrowded. Although breakfast was included with our stay, we were not very happy with the restaurant staff for not being flexible with takeout food because we had an early flight. We only wanted pancakes and eggs for our kids, but they said for \"safety reason\" we were could only take \"allowed\" food with us such as congee, etc..Unfortunately, my kids don't eat those food and they were hungry on the ride to the airport. We ended up buying breakfast at the Airport Burger King.

It is large brand new resort. Breakfast that was included was great with a lot of choices for everyone. Swimming pool is large and the private beach is clean and close by. Has variety of restaurants and couple of grocery stores near. Safari, aquarium and the amusement park were great for the kids. Casino was not so great, not many table games and no live texas hold’em.

Very disappointed that when I arrived I was told that I would need to pay 50 USD per person for a special Christmas Eve dinner and that the restaurant for the other 'all inclusive' meals would be closed for that evening. I had to argue the point that I had already paid for an all inclusive stay and that if the restaurant was closed then I would need to be refunded money. After a long wait and a phone call, I was told that the restaurant would be open and I could have my 'all inclusive' dinner there'. A terrible first impression by pressuring travel weary guests into paying for something they should not have to.

Would not recommend for large familes and groups.. hotel booked us in several rooms spread across the 2 towers. For the large amount of guests, this hotel only has a few small places to eat. Overall Not enpugh places to eat and not enough variety. Food was so-so for the added expense of dinner. We went to italian dinner place, and they we sold out of several items we had originally requested.

We stayed for 3 nights with the water park inclusive package and we loved it.
Staffs was very nice, the food is excellent. We very love the buffet breakfast.
Hotel location is good to go safari and the vinpearl Land, also have provide shuttle bus to go!
Hotel ground floor with shopping mall, casino. Also love the beach walk, beach is clean.

Very new and big hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stays there, especially my 18 months old daughter , she enjoyed the kids club very much. Good selection of breakfast. Need to pick a dry session to go there. I travelled on sep, raining every day, basically cannot enjoy the vinpearl land. The only set back was the road from airport to hotel was very very very bad.

There was a severe storm in Phu Quoc recently with an ongoing rain and my flight has been cancelled due to Phu Quoc airport being closed down. Despite the ongoing storm, the hotel says that the weather there are getting better (I actually have a friend in Phu Quoc and no it is not getting better) so they can not cancel the reservation. I understand cancellation could not be made due to my personal reasons but the airport was closed down and it was a natural disaster. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone with their poor customer service. Other 2 hotels I've booked made cancellation and have refunded me already.

The hotel is nice to stay for family. I visited VinOasis with my kids and husband and we enjoyed our stay very much. The room and the bed is comfortable and clean, the buffet breakfast is great with a lot of food to choose and the food is delicious. The hotel guests can visit the water park for free admission.
