Overall, it was a great resort experience. The buggy service can take 10–15 minutes at times, and we had to wait on a few occasions. Without the buggy, getting around isn’t practical due to the distance between villas.

The buffet food was excellent, and both the kids’ facilities and private pools were a highlight. The resort is also conveniently located close to many attractions.

Language can be a bit of a challenge, as around 80% of the staff have limited English, but this seems to be common across Vietnam.

Absolutely loved our stay at Vinpearl wonderworld. As soon as you drive to the lobby we were amazed with how beautiful and grand the place was. After check in we were driven to our villa by buggy. It’s a big resort so we needed to call buggy service to restaurant, beach club etc. We loved our 4 bedroom villa, it was absolutely beautiful.
There was a free bus service to Grandworld, Vinwonders and Safari.
Breakfast was amazing! And the beach is so clean and lots of spot for photos. The service is great too. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We traveled with four kids from ages 8 to 17 and had a blast! Something for everyone and it’s easy to get around the area either by walking on the beach or catching a ride via Vinpearl. Had the most relaxing massage and facial while here too! Would definitely come back.

This is an excellent world class resort except for one thing. I am surprised about the number of people who interact with guests are not very good at English. The quick version is one day my partner and I just wanted to go to a store that sold wine , spirits , mix and some snacks. A fellow on the registration desk had us take the V4-1 bus to the Grand terminal and then get on the 17 bus. We were heading to the airport. After almost 3 hours we got back to the resort. Shortly after , a resort shuttle took us just beyond the gate to a store on the Main Street. Waited for us and took us to our villa -#6509 on Wednesday March 11th. English is the world language and your resort accommodates people from all over the world.

We had a wonderful stay at Vinpearl Phu Quoc as a large family with young children. The villa was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. Breakfast was good with plenty of options, and we enjoyed hosting a few nice dinner gatherings in the evenings, which the space worked well for.

The resort is close to all major attractions, making it very convenient for family outings. The pools were clean, well kept, and great for both kids and adults.

The villa felt a bit large at times, but this was easily balanced by the amazing service — there were always staff around, and the entire place was taken care of wonderfully. We especially want to thank Quinh Nhu, the concierge, who truly stood out among all the staff. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. Her support really made our stay smoother and more enjoyable.

We would happily recommend this resort for families or large groups looking for comfort, great service, and a convenient location.

The property whilist beautiful and spacious, it was a little dated.
The staff were friendly and accomdating.
The kitchen is large and spacious however it is just for show as no cooking utensils including spoons and forks are supplied.

This was our 2nd time staying at Vinpearl Wonderworld. This time we paid extra for the ocean view but our view was blocked by plants so there was not much different with the other villas. The private pool was not very clean so preferred to use the beach or the big pool. Room service food was okay for a 4.5 stars hotel, the buffet meals were great 4.5 stars. The staffs and customer services were 6 stars as always. My only feedback to the hotel management team that please give a non-smoking Van to pick up. Both times we were picked up by the small vans ( from contracted partner) but both smelled so bad with cigarette. Also, please clean up the pool for next guests.

During our recent stay, we found a few positives at the property, but several issues unfortunately impacted the quality of our experience:

1. Good Location: The villa is in a great location, especially for families, with several children’s attractions nearby. This was one of the highlights of our stay.

2. Spacious Villa, Poor Maintenance: The villa itself was spacious and well laid out, but the lack of proper cleaning and general maintenance made it look and feel neglected.

3. Housekeeping and Cleanliness: Cleanliness was a major concern. Towels were worn out and looked overused, bed sheets didn’t appear fresh, and we even found sand on the bedding and water bottles during a linen change — a clear sign of poor housekeeping.

4. Private Pool and Pool Area: The villa’s private pool and its surrounding area were not cleaned at all during our stay. There were many dead insects floating in the pool, which made it unappealing and unhygienic. The poor maintenance of this area was disappointing.

5. Restaurant and Breakfast: While there was no long wait, the restaurant was very crowded during breakfast, making it difficult to enjoy the meal in a relaxed setting. The food variety was also quite limited, with no specific options for children or those with dietary preferences.

6. Lobby and Common Areas: The lobby is too small to comfortably accommodate the number of guests, often feeling cramped and noisy.

7. Children’s Play Area: The kids' area was small and lacked engaging

A good property- would be a great property with some small tweaks!
There were some areas of our villa which were in need of TLC, our decking area had some damage to it, kitchen area had no utensils or crockery and limited glasses/cups.
Housekeeping service was good, beds made up, floors swept, strangely the housekeeping team would take our hung up towels away but then not replace them. We ended up with no hand towels or wash cloths several times.
Room service- we didn’t have a good experience with this and ended up getting our food bill refunded as it took 2 hours to arrive COLD.
Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent- lots of choice and good quality.
Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed our time :) just a few little tweaks could make a big difference.

The Villas we stayed in were amazing. A cleaning crew comes in every day to tidy up and refill your daily water and towels. My kids LOVED the private pool for our villa and the beach. The only things we were not prepared for was that although there is a kitchen, it is not stocked at all with anything for cooking or even eating. No utensils or cooking tools. Also, be prepared to call for a buggy every time you want to leave your villa.

Nice rooms and facilities but service fell short. Feels very mass produced and not a personal service. Some nights at dinner it took a LONG time just to have a drinks order. One day cleaners took our towels without replacing them and it took 1.5 hours and 4 calls to reception to have them replaced. Golf carts to get everywhere feels like hard work.

The property is very large and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options with international and Vietnam specific food options. In room service was good, but takes a long time for delivery. No microwave in the rooms, VERY minimal kitchenware. If you need kitchenware, you can rent for a fee… Tuk tuk small shuttle service around the property can be a long wait at times. The villas are spacious, but rooms are basic. No hot or even warm water for showers as they report some villas use solar energy and during the rainy season, those villas don’t have hot water. That should be listed information for guests to know before booking. Property is close to the theme park, which has an amazing aquarium. The rest of the park was too spaced out with less than thrilling rides. The decorations at the park was beautiful, however. Our booking included free safari entrance, but we did not stay long enough to check it out. Staff did help arrange large van to transport our whole family of 9 from their hotel to one down south for a much better deal than taking taxi. This also included stops along the way for shopping and sight seeing included in the cost. Property is far from authentic Phu Quoc night life and night market. Overall, decent stay, but not the best for price point.

Vinpearl Wonder World – Pretty Pools, but Lacking

I recently stayed at Vinpearl Wonder World and found the overall experience to be quite average. While the pool and water activities were genuinely enjoyable, everything else felt lacking. One of the biggest letdowns was the food situation. Despite a large number of Indian tourists visiting, there were no proper vegetarian or even good non-veg options available. It’s surprising that a resort of this scale hasn’t made an effort to cater to such a significant part of its customer base.

There are also no decent food outlets nearby, so you’re basically stuck with limited and unsatisfying dining choices. Another major issue was communication—most of the staff struggled with English, making even basic requests difficult to manage.

The resort itself, though large, lacked energy. It almost felt like a ghost town at times, with very little liveliness or atmosphere. For the price and promise, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality.

Frankly, I’d rather visit Thailand, where the hospitality is warm, the service is polished, and food options are much more inclusive and flavorful. Vinpearl has great infrastructure but needs serious improvement in food, service, and guest experience.

The resort is a bit isolated. There really isn’t anything around. The resort grounds were meticulously groomed. Villa we stayed at was old, however very spacious and comfortable. Having a private pool was great as it rained off and on throughout our entire stay. Staff members were very helpful and accommodating. I can see why other reviewers mentioned communication issues ,however, for us it wasn’t a problem even though we do not speak the language. Breakfast was good in the am; there is a good enough variety for everyone. Although I personally would have loved other tropical fruits not easily found where I am at. On site, there are a few places to grab alcoholic beverages but the drinks they can make are extremely limited. Room service would not deliver alcoholic beverages with our meal. access to the beach is private, so it wasn’t crowded. I can agree that Phu Quoc overall was more expensive than other parts of Vietnam as is the resort but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting. The massages are considerably more expensive than other resorts we have stayed at in other parts of Vietnam but was good. I wouldn’t recommend their pedicures services though. You can get around the resort via a call to the service desk and a tuk tuk will come get you. The resort did offer transportation via a bus to and from airport if you stay longer than 2 nights. And a dedicated shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes that can take you to some of the local attractions like grand world, safari etc

We have been in the resort for the last 4 days. The swimming pool is not safe for swimming. We believe the filter is not working, and we have been observing everyday when someone comes to clean the pool by just fishing out the leaves and the debris. This morning we decided to talk to the cleaning person about the condition of the water before he's leaving. Surprisingly he responds that the water is dirty because the filter is not working. So he calls someone with equipment trying to revive the condition of the water and it takes hours. We still have three more nights here at the resort, but we are reluctant to use the pool. A swimming pool without a working filter pump will accumulate dirt, bacteria, and algae, turning it into a breeding ground for disease. Regular filtration is crucial for maintaining a healthy and safe swimming environment. Another problem at the villa when we first checked in, we realized that the guest bathroom toilet is not flushing. 3 different people came to try to fix it and it worked for a few flushes. We are not requiring it to be fixed during the remainder of our stays, since we don't need to use that washroom; just a head up so when we check out you might need to prepare a good stay for the next guest.

We had a great stay at this resort! The location was fantastic—right next to a private beach, themed park, safari, and shopping area, which made everything super convenient. The resort was clean and well-maintained, offering plenty of opportunities to relax either by the main pool or in your own private pool.

The only downside was the amount of smoking. There were quite a few people smoking around the pool area, and at times the smell was quite strong when walking by, which took away a bit from the relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, a lovely place with great amenities—just wish there were better controls around smoking in shared spaces.

The best resort we have stayed at and we have stayed at plenty! Everyone was friendly and hospitable. The resort is huge and you’ll need a golf cart to get around. The breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of options to eat. We did have some minor issues at the beginning when the resort required payment 7 days prior to arrival. I had to provide names and ages of everyone staying. After finding out the villa I booked would not accommodate everyone, the resort provided us with free upgrades. On our check out, the bell hop and staff came out to wave bye. They even provided with breakfast on the go bc our flight was early in the morning and wouldn’t have enough time to eat. Amazing! My kids wanted to stay longer and I do not blame them. Book your stay! Don’t hesitate!

Vinpearl wonderworld is a nice and relaxing place, the staff are very nice and always doing their best to help where they can. It’s great for family. The food was excellent, lots of varieties but it was geared toward international food, not the Vietnamese culture. However, I did not find this place to be 5 stars due to quality of the villas. Cabinets looks cheap. Fridge was slanted, pool was felt dirty. It was a nice villa, just the quality wasn’t there especially for the price you pay for.

Over rated ~ villa accommodation was Grand but facilities was not what we expected. Don’t get me wrong it is absolutely beautiful and Grand but… it is very busy! I was impressed with how organised they were organising the tuk tuk to villa they seem to have a great system going which is impressive.
With all the craziness everything seems to work well.
✔️ Checking in was quick and easy.
✔️ Accommodation ~ Villa was very grand and beautiful, very spacious, was clean to certain standards.
❌ Villa pool ~ honestly was very disappointing & very disgusting regretted jumping into that pool, next day kept coughing and I believe it’s due to that pool and the cleanliness.
Everyday they had to fill up the pool and turn on filtering system.
✔️ Breakfast was good ~ wasn’t great but good enough considering the number of guest they have to feed
❌ If you’re a coffee drinker ~ coffee is terrible!
✔️ Organisation and service from Tuk Tuk staff ~ amazing, the quick and efficient service.

Poor service. And the worst part is the constant nickle and diming you. They seriously up charge you for every little thing. We rented a villa with a kitchen... well guess what? There's no dishes... yep, you have to pay a fee for that. Its a great property, but when you pay as much as it costs, they should provide a service instead of trying to sell it to you twice. The way its managed degrades the experience and drops it down from truly five star luxury, to something I've done and don't need to go back to do again.

Australian family of 11 spread across two 3 bedroom beachfront villas. Villas in poor condition - clean but poorly constructed. Hectic lobby with check in taking an hour and no overview of the resort facilities provided. Need to throw elbows just to squeeze in to get food at breakfast buffet. Beach is great for a sunset swim and the open safari is amazing but would suggest staying elsewhere on a similar part of the beach.

Beautiful facility but the layout of villas makes it difficult to get commute between villas when the group booking are not near each other because it’s not walkable distances between rooms. The tuk tuk services were great but it takes time to wait around. The internet was horrible for a five star resort but hotel did everything they could when called about it. So disappointed to stay here. customer services are okay, all the transportation drivers are excellent. Before I booked the place im usually read all the rules and policies . I booked 3 bedrooms villas for 6 adults and 3 kids. Mostly kids under 15 year old who live in Vietnam got no identification like ID or passport they should mention us about it on their policies. How do i know about bringing their birth certificate when they didn’t mention about it on their website. The pool so dirty. We requested to clean it for us, but no one take care of it. We paid to much for what we got. To much fee add on . They made us pay extra fee for extra peoples which is fine. End up We decide to booked another hotel for the additional people . My villa go down to 5 adults and 4 kids plus baby. They said the baby will stay for free. Then the next day we came for breakfast they want us to pay extra fee for the 10 years old bc they said that child need to pay extra fee to stay. Omg i have never got any worsts experience like this in my life. The towel not cleaned. Asking for extra blanket and pillows, then the answer from the receptionist was Im sorry we have no more blankets and pillows due overload of guests.

I loved our stay at this villa. We stayed in a four bedroom and within each bedroom, there is a full bathroom which was perfect for us. The staffs were very attentive and friendly.

When I booked, it stated that each room will get 500,000.00 dongs worth of vouchers. With four rooms, it is 2,000,000 dongs so I was given a total of 40 vouchers each has a value of 50,000. They provided a list of locations I can use it in but unfortunately after going to one place on the list and they did not honor it, I gave up. It was more of a false advise to get people to shop at the Grand World.

This is our first tine visiting Phu Quoc , Vietnam after 30 years living in America.

We booked a Villa next to the beach, we have our own private pool and our own private beach behind our backyard. That was really cool. One thing that impresses us the most was the biggie , local called it a “tut tut” private sport car will take us everywhere in side the villa. Eating, lobby, beach, and back to the airport. I would recommend if someone want to book this villa, get room 3226 , have a private pool, private beach, private walkway to enjoy the beach .
We definitely will come back to Phu Quoc and would recommend anyone with kids and teenagers to stay in Vin-Pearl Phu Quoc Discovery.

Overall ok hotel. 5 star hotel with 3 star services. Shuttle drivers from lobby to room/ room to lobby was excellent. Beyond that, everything was mediocre.

The check in process was smooth transition but the check out was poor due to the front end staff did not take my return flight properly. He almost caught my family a missed flight home. The Villa room is excellent and the private pool was great.

The resort villa offers terrific space for my party of 7. I honestly don’t think the place was 3000sf so it is misleading. The private pool and access to the beach was really nice. It’s something we haven’t stay before due to the price elsewhere but it’s affordable to indulge here. However, The property needs some maintenance. There are sign of significant west and tear. The most important issue was that after a shower, there is a horrifying sewer smell in the entire villa in 2 of the 3 shower. The smell went away after a few hrs and Turning on the vent but something tells me the sewer may not be up to code ( doesn’t have a u pipe).. because we showered at night just before bed, we didn’t reported to the the front desk until the following day. We didn’t want to deal with them coming by to fix things while we are trying to sleep. When we did report it, an entire army cleaning folks came out within minutes but that time they could find the issue and left. During our stay, we showered in the only showered that didn’t give the smell which was a major inconvenience. For that, I felt like I overpaid and it didn’t meet my villa expectation. The experience fell way short.

Awesome beach, but accommodations was not worth.

Properly is dated as crack on wall, A/c and other equipment is pretty worn out. Both the tanning chairs In the villa were broken when we first try to use it. Service was good as staffs are friendly. One of the A/C in the room has issue since day one, and it took 3 days before it was resolve. We had to slept in the living room due to the noise that was coming from the A/C in that room. Property manager was slow to response and didn’t do any escalation, or ask us until 5min before we checked out. I wouldn’t return based on our experience. The beach was nice and empty, which was the reason to help us enjoy our trip.

All toilet seats broke. The funitures old and dirty like sofa and floor rugs. The hot water and air conditioning circuit breaker keep stripping. About the transfertation, my flight delayed but their bus left us behind. I paid 5 star villa, it is worse 3 star or less.

The Resort is as I expected. The Staff was wonderful, friendly and was very attentive to our needs. If I come back to Phu Quoc, I will definitely stay at a Vinpearl resort.

I'm very happy that we get to stay here! Best location and service for family with small children. All the staff are wonderful, from drivers, servers, room service, receptionists, ect. everyone is so friendly, helpful and caring to us during our stay. The villa is very nice and I wish we could stay here longer. We hope to be back soon!

Excellent service

Excellent service from reception to house keeping. Far away from main town but has shuttles to and from hotel. Exceptional buffet breakfast, good for relaxing getaway. Lovely and roomy villa with private swimming pool. Definitely recommend and love to come back for a holiday.
