The noise from Sirens beach bar from about 9pm until 1am is unbelievably loud. I have never stayed at a hotel that advertised 5 star to have such a joke of a neighbour. Might as well have paid someone to stand outside the hotel room blowing an air horn. Its really to bad because the staff are so friendly and kind.

If you are planning to go to Grand world vinwonders or the Safari. This a great option. Shuttle service from the airport was eay and convenient and getting to all these e places are super convenient as well due to the free shuttle service

The room and amenities were great. The beach is nice and calm and we always found chairs available. The breakfast is extensive, with lots of food options. The gym is pretty good and the area is well kept. There’s hammocks and lots of things to do. Great for families. The music from the place next door is loud and annoying but it does end around 1am. I don’t think there’s much they can do about this though.

For us, the biggest disappointment was the hotel staff. They aren’t welcoming or helpful. From the moment we arrived until we left, every time we asked something it was an annoyance for them. One day they didn’t do our room which we were fine with, but we saw a person around 3pm and asked for our trash to be emptied and asked for water but he was annoyed at it. As if we were crazy to ask for this. They did come later and cleaned our room. I also noticed in the breakfast, there was a staff in training and they treated him really poorly. The only staff member we do want to praise was Claire in the Annex restaurant. Even though there were 4 or 5 staff there, she was doing all the work, got no help or support from her peers, and still treated us great. Other than that, really poor customer service in the restaurants or pool bar.

Staff seemed to be too busy on their phone many times in the restaurant and the front of the hotel Dr.. Multiple times they were just standing around talking to each other instead of helping guests open our doors and welcoming them back to the hotel. The surface in the restaurant was nonexistent as a didn’t offer any additional drinks or even acknowledge my existence two times we had breakfast. Multiple times employees were walking through the hallways and didn’t even acknowledge us as guests.
Beautiful properly employee culture needs to change.

The food options were extremely limited.
Even though the rates are much higher compared to other hotels around they had only 1 restaurant on site with limited food option.
There is suppose to be lunch and dineer buffet sonpeople could pay and est. But tis servixe was also closed for 2 mo ths due to low season.
Why did they take booking for full board which says room + breakafast+dinner+ lunch whrn they dont have these sevic3s.
Moreeve very less staff . U think they cut down on salaries due to low seasosn.

How come a radisson brand like this cannotnaffford to to higher more people

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is beautiful and it's right next to the beach. What else can you ask for? Breakfast was delicious with so many varieties from Western to several Asian countries. The hotel is near the local attractions and transportation to the area attractions are free. They also provide free airport transport. We recommend this hotel and would come back again next visit.

Wonderful hotel at Phu Choc

Staying before at Premier Managed by Accor, this hotel is far better. Location, front office, room quality, food quality. The beach is too dirty and shallow for swimming at Premier but Radisson has an excellent one. We also stayed at beautiful villas at New World. If we come again we may prefer the villas at Radisson, beacuse of the beach and the location

Fantastisch hotel with great rooms at a great place. We like the rooms with a superb bed. a grat TV and a comfortable bath room.
Breakfast is very good.
The only negative aspekt is that there are too few sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach. At 9:30 a.m. all sunbeds were occupied. We do not understand this as there is of space at the beach and a 5 star chain like Radisson should be able to secure that every guest can enjoy his beach vacation!

They charge everything, meals should be included in the resort, tennis court cost $150k per hour, not much but it should be included, I don’t have any problems to pay extra but every little things will cost me time. In Cancun you would have a lot included in the upfront cost

After traveling around SouthEast Asia for two months, I found myself in desperate need of some R&R. And the Raddison Blu fit that bill to a T.

First off, Phu Quoc is a lovely little... um, "large" island in South Vietnam. Is it touristy and a little over the top? Why yes, but sometimes that's exactly what we need. Grand World is basically next door, a mock Venice, complete with river, Gondolas, and waterfront restaurants. It's cute and fun and the Raddison provides a golf cart to take you over and back basically anytime you like.

In addition to Grand World, you have VinWonder - which is kind of like a miniature Disneyland. The aquarium there is gigantic and beautiful, and filled with abundant and diverse species of fish. There's also a massive Ferris Wheel, a water park, rides, games, etc... making for a fun day. A free local bus will pick you up and drop you off in front of the hotel, or take a $2 taxi.

The real strength of the Raddison is the lovely staff, the peaceful pool, and the gorgeous white sand beach, all within a short walk of your room. They really go out of their way to make you enjoy your stay. So if you need a break from the grind of traveling, or are just looking for an amazing vacation, the Raddison Blu may be for you. The beds are super comfortable, they have plenty of English channels with movies, and their prices just can't be beat!

Generally the pool and beach was great. The service, was pretty good but hard to communicate due to lack of English. It was also quite slow and sometimes we received the wrong items. All In all, it was a pleasant stay and very relaxing, but I suggest employing people that have grasp of English as this was the commonly spoken language for the majority of residents. Thanks 🙏

For everything you must to waite minimum 1h
Had only few sunbed for 1000 and more people .
I had sweet reptil in my room .
My children ware an different floor and elevetors have not acsses .They will want you 200/300usd for room deposit,and if you will pay with cart (they told me we will return it next 2 month )

I booked this property for the size of the pool and proximity to the beach. My room was very large with a nice bathtub but unfortunately, there were no bath amenities such as salts to further enjoy. It was a considerable walk to the beach as you have to pass by all of the villas I did enjoy the breakfast buffet. That was one of the best buffets I have had since traveling in the past two months. I was disappointed that they did not have a spa on site and I would have to go offsite and wasn’t even provided a menu with services online or by paper when requested over the phone 2x. I was pleasantly surprised that grand world was so close and enjoyed going there for an evening for dinner. in room, dining food was average it is best to order Asian food from the menu versus western food. I would recommend this hotel for very large groups.

We (family of 4) had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Hotel Phu Quoc for a 3-nights , and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly service by the hotel staff, who made me feel welcome.

My room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable king-sized bed and high-quality linens. The room was also equipped with all of the modern amenities I needed, including a large flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the luxurious toiletries provided.

The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The pool was a highlight of my stay, with stunning views of the ocean and plenty of loungers and umbrellas for relaxing in the sun.

Perhaps what impressed me the most about the Radisson Hotel Phu Quoc was the level of service provided by the staff. From the housekeeping staff to the front desk, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable, and I felt well taken care of throughout my entire stay.

The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring Phu Quoc.

The breakfast was outstanding.

Excellent choices for breakfast.
Clean beach.
AC does not work properly in the restaurant during breakfast. I changed the seat, but did not help much.
Some cutlery and plates were not properly washed. Probably problem with dishwasher.
During breakfast, the tables are not cleaned completely. Only the pads are cleaned and the cutlary is changed. It remains sticky in the middle of the table.

A beach, a view, and an amusement park for all!

Beautiful room, view, beach, pool. Very close to a Vietnamese “Disneyland style” establishment, so ideal for kids. The breakfast buffet is huge. Nevertheless, there should be more options for vegetarians. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful: from bringing you to the amusement park and back for free to resolving issues, such as an issue I had with my Vietnamese SIM card in a most efficient manner.

My family of 5 stayed in the family suite. The space was amazing but the interior was deteriorating, dusty & dirty in the corners & under furniture. The cleaners did not clean well each day & the place was not vaccumed. Some staff were not so helpful with queries. Place does not allow children to dive or jump into the large pool & my cousin was asked to get out of the swimming pool because she didnt have actual swim wear on but she had a short & shorts on. On a positive note, this hote has a cart thats a free service to outside the hotel area where other cafes are, to Grand World & night market. The buffet has a fabulous selection as well.

Fantastisk svit, mycket god frukost även för mig som är vegetarian! Vi är jättenöjda med poolen och närheten till stranden. Fin service men restaurangen har lite varierande i kvalitet, exempelvis fick vi vid ett tillfälle vänta på maten vid poolen 1.5h och delar var då kalla.

Stay at Radisson Blu was really excellent. Clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast, clean beach, very kind staff. Hotel really offers very valued stay. Plus there is a Grand World 5 minutes of foot or they take you there with electric trolley. Also airport shuttle bus provided-super. Maybe a room for slightly improvement are beach-boys, who are nice but don't speak english too much and where not very helpful. Cleaning was very good, however my minibar was not filled during 3 days. At the end it is pity for the hotel.
On the other hand I forgot my wallet during check-out and reception guys called taxi driver to return back- so big THANK YOU, 10/10

Only complain would be the fact that there was a company group party on our last day and they pretty much took over the beach, so we couldn’t enjoy our last afternoon at the beach. There is also construction going on at the hotel which makes it a bit noisy when outside. The in house restaurant is ok, a bit pricey and not the greatest.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff are completely checked out, standing around talking to each other, porters don’t touch bags, reception takes 40 minutes to check in, per group… Rooms covered in dust and dirt. Bathrooms rusty. Breakfast inedible. Hotel is in a very isolated and quite rough, newly developed Vegas-esque area that is stuck in weird post-covid dystopian time loop. The beach is beautiful. Hotel crowd tends to be families with lots of kids and older men with younger female companions..

Initial check in was a disaster. Check out was completely the opposite. We were offered zero in the way of information on Expedia VIP Access perks, tours, transportation, sights, dining options on and off property, if there was a spa we wouldn’t know because we weren’t even informed of that.
Upon check out I noticed some perk cards for a free drink at a nearby facility nightclub - never offered to us.
Although the hotel was literally empty we were told a room upgrade was impossible and this was our third stay in less than 18 months. They have no concept of any kind in how to honor repeat visitors.
We will return to Crown Plaza whenever we visit Phu Quoc in the future. We’re finished with Raddison Blu

I personally think this resort wasn’t the best to stay for the price paid.
First of all.Never and I meant “NEVER” eat at their restaurant, their restaurant foods were terrible and overly expensive.waiting times for foods to served was extreme long. Only 2 tables at the times The first day we arrived late so had to dine in at their restaurant. Paid $300k vnd ( equivalent to $20aud currency for a meal with 5 small piece of rice papers.1bbq pork skewer. When asked for additional rice papers they took 20mins to bring out some. All other people finished their foods I was still waiting for mine.Foods were dried and tasted bad.
we ordered in room service.They said some of our food was in available and recommended us to go dine outside. So we told them we will dine out instead. After came back they told us that 1 of our meal were ready and forced us to eat or pay because the kitchen already prepared.We had to raised dispute multiple times for them to take out the amount off the deposit.
the carpet outside room on level 3 smells like rotten.Swimming Pool safe guard staff name HẢI quiet rude. Didn’t see anyone for 2 days at the swimming pool. Then all the sudden the guy approached my mum randomly request us to give him 5 stars rating.when I said.I’m all wet I’ll do it later he said only take few minutes and asked me to do it straight away. Then later when he realised I didn’t put his name down on my rating he was upset and walked away. Overall.never come back again this hotel.

Property is in top condition deserving 5 star status. Booked family suite which comes with two rooms with excellent interiors and bathrooms. Good size pool with a little bar open in the afternoon. Breakfast buffet has good spread but it does get chaotic and noisy as the hotel had many guests. You can manage, if mentally prepared for it. Refilling is done quickly, tables are spaced out well.

Now comes not so good part of it:
Below expectation for Radisson Blu / five star brand

Service:
1. On arrival: I was expecting a courtesy offer to help with the luggage from the gate to check-in counter (not that I needed but a practice at typical 5 star properties in my experience). Number of staff standing around but no one approached.

2. Check-in and check-out: Only one counter manned and all the check-in staff just herding around that counter while customers are left with no one to attend at the other counters. Too many clueless trainees.

3. Not about the staff service per se but service in general: Hotel offers drop off to and pickup from the Great World which is great. However, unlike other properties in the area such as Vin Oasis, Vin Resorts & Spa etc. there is no hotel transport for Vin Wonders and Vin Safari. Return from Vin Wonders at 8PM after the show can be painful as Taxis will try to rip you off.

Ah, staff at the beach helping with Kayaking etc. is very friendly and helpful. Nghia, Lam and another gentleman were very helpful.

The people in Radisson Blu are outstanding. There are many good people, but of those I remember, Dieu and Hoa at the reception are very helpful. Vinh at the beach is really accommodating. Kiang and the other buggy service drivers are all patient and punctual.
I booked a Family Room and a Deluxe double. Rooms are spacious, and sheets and all are generally clean. But the carpets in the room and corridors are filthy and need a good vacuuming. On the first night, my son's sensitive nose acted up because of the dust. But I must say their service recovery is excellent. They sent housecleaning to vacuum the room, and did a fabulous job. Buggy service also sent us to the nearest pharmacy to get antihistamines immediately.
Food for breakfast is very good.
Beach is clean and very well-manned. Bicycles are available for free use to cycle around the area. Good bikes but could do with some servicing.
Pool is beautiful, but the water is not very clean. We popped over to the next door hotel pool - and that looked really blue and clear.

Affordable Northern Phu Quoc 5 Star gem. Beautiful pool and beach. Free airport shuttle en excellent perk. Very nice rooms. Very pleasant and quiet Sun-Thursday, the loud uncouth typical Vietnamese arrive for the weekend.

Decent food options around particularly Atlantis and the food court nearby within Vinoasis. Zero room upgrade offered during our stay when hotel was empty - I found that a bit senseless and cheap on the part of the hotel.

During Covid situation week long guests such as my wife and I are unnoticed while one night or two night weekend guests are treated like royalty. That’s simple ignorance prevalent in hotel and resort chains in Vietnam currently and reflects poorly on the management and training of staff. If I’m staying several days longer than a one night weekend visitor then I should have top priority and service since I’m spending 10 times more.

That being said it’s the nicest most affordable 5 star hotel on Phu Quoc and I highly recommend it over the pricier resorts.

Good stay, meet you needs

Everything is good, 5 stars, clean and well maintained, except that the majority is Chinese mainland and Korean tourists. I think this situation is same as in the Vinpearl Oasis just beside, and also other 5 stars hotels around. If you want to "escape from the crowd", better choose one of the smaller resorts run by the locals at other beaches.

Talking back about the Radisson Blu, they have free shuttle bus to airport which you need to book in advance to secure the seats. And, they have free and frequent buggy car to go to Almaz Centre just 2 mins away where you can find some restaurants and a few shops there.

It is also fun to enjoy the beach just right next to the swimming pool.

Superb resort at a reasonable price

This is a massive property, in very good condition and very comfortable. Facilities are superb, and so it is great value for money. Its right on a pretty good beach with relatively calm and clear waters. There is a waterpark (at additional cost) on the premises which was a huge hit with my 10 year-old son. Rides were pretty good, I must say. Only 2 disappointments: (1) nothing local nearby; this is a manufactured resort about 45 minutes away from the town. (2) The snorkelling off the island (to which you can kayak) is in very shallow waters, so we got scraped up on the corals. But other than this, its a fantastic place to go chill out for a few days. And if you're in to Casinos, there's one right next to the hotel.

Great for kids, but less for couples

The hotel is very new, close to two water parks and a safari park, and is very popular with the Chinese. Great for people with children who do not mind the hustle and bustle, but for couples looking for a quiet place to unwind, this might not be it for you.

Additionally, there is only one restaurant available that only serves buffet and a limited room service menu. The F&B team could consider serving more Vietnamese food options in their room service menu (e.g. pho or ban mi) or during the buffet. E.g. have a bun Cha station. Also, the "hot food" sections of the buffet was rather lukewarm to cold. Would suggest reviewing what food your keep there.

Hotel was absolutely pristine with excellent facilities. However, as the hotel is still very new, staff seemed somewhat untrained and overloaded (waited over 1hr for a burger order at the bar). The hotel opened in Aug '18, and as they are beginning to scale up and accept more guests, the staff seem to be overwhelmed (however, to be fair our stay was over the weekend before Jan 1). Expect it may take a few more months to work out the minor inefficiencies and train staff to their full potential. Also, the rooms were not as advertised on Expedia. Both Deluxe rooms and Executive rooms have identical views. We booked (and paid a premium for) the Executive room expecting it to have a view of the ocean (as advertised)--this was not the case. We found out that the only difference between the two room types was that the Executive room offered lounge access, in-room espresso machine and other minor services--don't believe this is worth the extra $50/night, but other guests may disagree. If you want an ocean view, you're just as likely to get one by booking a Deluxe room over the Executive room (probably more likely as there are more Deluxe rooms than Executive rooms). Other than this booking fiasco which took over 7 hours to resolve, our stay was excellent and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The general manager was also very sympathetic to our situation. In summary, the hardware (i.e., facilities) is excellent, but the software (i.e., personnel) needs some fine tuning.

The hotel is fine - I would say average 4 star. My complaint goes entirely to Hotels.com customer service.
We booked 8 nights for 2 adults and 1 child including half board. Upon arrival the half board is only for adults even the confirmation does not state otherwise. I then contacted customer service which said it was hotel policy and sensed me a screenshot from website as proof. However when you navigate to the website this policy is no longer written there - it might have been at some point but not anymore and not at the time of my booking. So think twice if you travel with kids and want half board or all inclusive.
