Room was very close to the gym, office and common area. Great view and nice gym. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Refrigerator in our room never got cold even after having a technician take a look at it. Also there was an ATM machine on the property that did not function.

The place was absolutely beautiful, with amazing views that made the stay very enjoyable. The pools were also fantastic and one of the highlights of our visit. The property itself is well maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere.

What I did not like was the food. The menu was very limited and did not offer enough variety. For example, one night the only main option available was pork, and since we do not eat pork, that left us with very few choices. Another issue was the lack of a kids’ menu. Traveling with a child can be challenging when there are no child-friendly food options, especially since children do not always eat what is offered on the regular menu.

Overall, the beautiful location, stunning views, and excellent pools were great, but the dining experience could be improved by offering more menu options and including a kids’ menu.

Me gustó la atención de los empleados. Amables y serviciales. No me gustó los 4 camastros qué ponen a disposición de los clientes. Están en muy mal estado. No había papel higiénico ni tallas en el. Baño del restaurante a las 8 y 30 de la mañana abriendo ellos el. Restaurante a las 7 am. El carro de transporte solo. Uno hay ahora para 3 usuarios. La comida aceptable pero muy raquitica. En fin ya no es como antes yo he visitado este hotel. Por muchas ocasiones y lastima ahora vade mal. En peor. Anteriormente le daba 5 estrellas. Espero que mejoren su atención al usuario. Gracias.

Pools were great, but that was pretty much it. This is an older, has been resort. It has great potential, but they seem to skimp on everything. There were two of us in a family suite. Not a couple, just 2 female friends. They only would give us 2 towels and 1 hand towel, and no wash cloths, even when requested more. We were told that’s all they give for 2 people. There were lots of bugs in the room. Little flying ants mostly, but we still don’t want them in the bed. The bar was limited on drinks they could provide (no mojitos, sangria, even simple popular drinks). Food options were minimal. Not buffet style. And 2 options, typically chicken with rice or pasta and pork chops. It all tasted the same, clearly leftovers from day to day. Fruit was also limited. Dessert looked like Little Debbie’s desserts. The beach was fine but beach lounges are falling apart both at beach and the pool. Not a place I would return or recommend.

Our stay at Condovac was very nice for the most part. First off, the staff was very kind and helpful with everything. From the reception to food service and hotel cleanliness, the staff was the best. Maybe due to it being low season, there were just a few things we would have like to have seen more of around the resort itself, like more food choices and activities, especially for kids, but for us the vacation was about relaxing with family and we were able to do just that. Thank you for your hospitality.

Stayed with my family at the resort for a week - it was our first time in Costa Rica, and overall the stay was good. The views are absolutely stunning and very aesthetic, the beach is within a 3-minute walk, and there’s a convenient shuttle that takes you around the property.

That said, the all-inclusive food was disappointing. The options were very limited and repetitive (mostly rice, chicken, etc.). The rooms also do not have WiFi, it’s only available in the main lobby and restaurant areas.

We visited at the end of May and it seemed like we were among the only guests there, which I assume is why several restaurants on the property were closed, along with the poolside bar.

When I booked it said night clubs , seafood nights we never had any of it! The swim up bar closed every day at 6pm

There’s no Wi-Fi throughout the entire resort it’s only in the common areas. It’s also not worth paying extra for the mini bar. They claim that they only restock it every other day but in my six day trip, mine was only restocked once after I called multiple times, & spoke to multiple people, telling them it was never restocked and they ran out of water bottles, so being someone who needs to take medication in the morning I had to remember to take cups of water back to the room at night

We were looking for a clean place to stay while venturing out to explore the Guanacaste region including several national parks and many beaches, so this met our needs. The room was clean, air conditioned and had a kitchenette which was a pleasant surprise. If we were looking an all-inclusive resort type of stay, it would have been a colossal failure. The food was cafeteria style, limited and not very good. The one bar that was open didn't have much to offer. The pools were nice, but otherwise there wasn't much to do. There wasn't any entertainment or activities. If you are like us and are looking for a clean place to sleep that is cost efficient this is your place. If you want a resort experience, this is not the place for you.

I honestly don’t understand how this resort is rated a 4-star property. This was the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve had.

There is essentially no WiFi anywhere on the resort, which is unacceptable in this day and age.

The rooms were extremely run down. The TV remotes didn’t work, we were constantly dealing with fire ants, and there were basically no standard amenities — no mini fridge, no iron, no coffee maker, nothing. It felt very bare and poorly maintained.

The towels were disgusting. What were supposed to be white towels were gray, stained, old, and rough. Completely unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint.

The biggest issue was the food. The resort advertises multiple restaurants, a snack bar, but in reality, there was one buffet serving the same food every single day and it was terrible. My wife wouldn’t eat it, and even my 4 & 5 year-old kids refused the food. We basically survived on soggy French fries for an entire week. That alone should tell you everything.

For comparison, I’ve stayed at all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic (multiple times), & Saint Martin every one of them was miles better than this place.

This resort is run down and on the verge of going out of business. I genuinely cannot understand how it qualifies as a 4-star resort.

Costa Rica itself is beautiful, the people are wonderful but I strongly recommend staying somewhere else

To any Americans reading this: stay clear of Condovac La costa.

The view is great! However, The resort is not kept well it looks decaying. I was very disappointed when i arrived. The people at the front desk were helpful. But i cant Say the same for the staff in the food service area for the exception of one young man who really took time to ask us if we needed anything everytime he was on shift. He should give lessons to the others on how to provide good service. One reason I actually picked this resort was because it was all inclusive, however the food was not the best. We ate out more than a few
few times once we got to know the area. Unfortunately we will not return to this resort. It needs to improve drastically. Especially the restaurant. I was told by a local that this used to be one of the best resorts. Hopefully it can return to its forrmer glory.

Upon entering, it is somewhat clean, but you noticed the extreme rundown check in area, poolside dirty, broken items sitting along edge. Circus rides that look like they need to be torn down! Building & pool need new paint. The food was absolutely terrible. Hot dogs that look from the day before, ground soupy beef ..not sure. We ended up eating elsewhere rest of the trip. The “shuttles” were small pickup trucks that would come every 15 minutes go up and down around the resort…a joke. Pictures are nothing close to what you’re getting & paying for.

Nuestra experiencia en Condovac Papagayo fue realmente decepcionante de principio a fin. Desde que llegamos, el lobby era un caos: gritos y discusiones por una reunión de socios que daba una pésima primera impresión. Aun así, decidimos darle una oportunidad.

Las instalaciones se ven completamente descuidadas y en decadencia: lámparas dañadas o titilando, techos con humedad y manchas negras, áreas viejas y sin mantenimiento. En el restaurante no había música, las mesas no tenían servilletas, los mesoneros tenían paños sucios y meros colgando de los hombros y el servicio fue terrible. La comida estaba muy regular y ni siquiera había atención adecuada para las bebidas.

La habitación fue otro desastre: había una fuga de agua desde que entramos, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y la puerta del baño estaba dañada. Intentamos comunicarnos múltiples veces con recepción por llamada y WhatsApp y nadie respondía. En el check-in incluso olvidaron entregarnos la información básica del hotel y horarios.

Al día siguiente tratamos de confirmar el horario del desayuno porque nadie contestaba en recepción. Llegamos a las 10:15 a.m. y nos dijeron de manera muy negativa que el desayuno terminaba a las 10:00. Explicamos que nunca nos dieron la información y pedimos aunque fuera algo sencillo, pero no hubo ninguna intención de ayudar.

Sinceramente, este hotel no debería estar operando en estas condiciones. El servicio, mantenimiento y atención al cliente son pésimos. Me parece una estafa l

Honnêtement les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas à se que nous avons reçus. La nourriture au buffet était toujours la même et ils n’avais que 5 choix plus des hot dogs. Mais manger sa tout la semaine c’était pas top. De plus, nous avons eu beaucoup de problème avec la navette fournie par l’hôtel. Nous n’avons pas eu de réponses avant notre arriver pour confirmer la navette donc nous avons pris l’initiative de commander un taxi cependant l’hôtel a écouter nos plusieurs messages sur leur répondeur et nous avais finalement envoyé la navette. Donc nous avons payer en double pour l’aller et la navette fournie pour le retour finalement n’était pas comprise donc nous l’avons payer aussi. Le seul point positif que je dirais c’est que l’hôtel se situe proche de la plage et qu’il y a 3 piscine. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de chaise longue. Et vous devez être en capacité de pouvoir marcher car les chambres si situés dans une cote apique qu’il faut monter à chaque fois que vous voulez allez à la piscine, manger, aller à la plage, dormir, aller a la réception. Sur le site aussi, il est indiqué qu’il y a des manèges ( ceux-ci sont en arrêt) et les restaurants ne sont pas ouvert.

Staff was great beds were ok. You could see people walking by through the crack in the door. You had to lock yourself in the room with the key. Food was not very good. Same thing every day. Only about 5 options. Facility needs a lot of upkeep. Drink options were limited. The hills were super steep. Not recommended unless you are fit. They did have a pickup that would take you around if it didn't already have 3 people in it.

Pool was nice. The rest is garbage. The food is reused day to day hardly any alcohol choices no juice limited water none in room no bottle water. You cannot get around easy steep terrain. I got food poisoning so bad that I did not enjoy my trip. Throwing up and the other end dry heaves horrible waisted all this money for truly the worst vacation ever. Why on earth do you sell as an all inclusive. There was hardly anything to eat and the food just sat out all day in the heat.

Stayed at Condovac la Costa in April. The views are excellent and the pools are a standout—well designed with great scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the staff was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay.

On the downside, several amenities were closed or not operational during the visit, which limited the overall experience. The property also needs more consistent maintenance, as some areas feel worn and not as well kept as expected.

Overall, a good stay with strong service and great views, but there’s clear room for improvement on upkeep and availability of amenities.

I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. This turned into a vacation from hell. Tired, old, amenities in ruin. Cutting corners with hygiene, caused me to end up in hospital for 4 days with e-coli and Norovirus - from their food and drinks.
I reached out for some sort of explanation, compensation or even apology … and got nothing. NOTHING!!! No response, despite several reach outs. Expedia supported my claim - and were responsive - but wouldn’t take them off of their list of properties???!!! As, “according to the rules and regulations”, they didn’t owe me any compensation for a vacation that they ruined. And cost me my good health. Expedia tried to offer me the days missed if we went back before the end of 2026. Not only are flights not affordable to us, but we would NEVER stay there again.
Trying to keep others from ending up with a similar experience and ruined vacation :(

I booked Condovac la Costa through Expedia specifically because the listing indicated free airport pickup and 24-hour shuttle service. This was a key factor in my decision.

After booking, I promptly sent my flight details. However, the hotel later informed me that airport transportation must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and could not be arranged for my arrival.

This requirement was not clearly stated during booking and resulted in unexpected transportation costs and inconvenience. I recommend Expedia ensure that important conditions like advance notice requirements are clearly disclosed, and I hope this issue can be fairly resolved.

The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris. The food in the pictures did not exist and in fact the food was awful! It was the same everyday, beans rice + meat.
The view however was amazing, the staff was great and the drinks were nice and stiff.

Till date the worst resort I have ever been to. Rooms are clean but many bugs access to the beach is a mission all on it’s own rooms and eating area is up on a mountain and transportation is hit and miss they have one truck going around giving rides but good luck on that guy takes forever to come back to the pick up areas. And the food buffet if you want to call it that is terrible maybe 4 items if lucky and food is not good. No room service no phones in the rooms and any kind of service is nonexistent please keep away from this place we had to find other places to eat or do any kind of entertainment. I even had the hard decision of leaving a day earlier than I had paid for and paid for new flights.

Location is beautiful, staff is very accommodating. The place itself is really nice, it’s just they let it go a little bit. Could use some pressure washing and some new pool chairs. And there are old rundown carnival type rides that don’t work which is weird. Also, they had a couple things that was odd that we didn’t have like there were not any pepper shakers in the restaurant, which by the way I use the word restaurant loosely as it’s just a outside buffet bar that they use for all three meals. Also no washcloths in the rooms. Also, if you wanted to make a reservation for the other restaurant, you only could do it between two and four, and we were only able to do that one out of the four nights because they are apparently closed on Sundays. But for the price and location, I really can’t complain, those are just nitpicking. Again very great staff and beautiful location!

Pros: The pool was great, the food was okay- we ate out a few times. All inclusive so they have it all breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a tram that takes you to and from your room to the common areas, also the hotel is kind of connected to the beach. You can walk there or take the tram.

Cons: no clean towels, no pool towels, no phone in the rooms, no WiFi in the rooms we had to walk up the hill to just call our family and friends or post anything on ig since WiFi is only in the common areas. This location is prolly like 10-15 min from coco beach and you basically have to uber everywhere in Costa Rica or get a taxi

The pictures posted for this resort are 16 yrs old. There is no wifi in any rooms, all the decor is outdated and smells of mold. The views from the balcony are of other rooms roofs. The buffet is always the same, dry, undercooked and no variety. They close everything down at the pool area at 10 pm- lights and all. No drinks or ice unless you hike up an inclined hill in 108 degree weather. The hotdogs for the kids were so old and dry that they looked like sun dried veiny wiener raisin.
The shuttle from the airport never came to pick me up- had to pay a random taxi cash plus tip- because he asked for it- to make it there- plus the hotel had to provide the ride back to the airport back- so paying for the round trip, why did I?
The false advertising of the food, views, rooms, all of it- very deceiving. Making my first time out of the country the worst experience. Told to download the whatsapp to communicate- yet you can’t use it without wifi- which was nonexistent. No phones in any rooms. No room service as advertised because how would I call for it?
Rice in the morning, rice in the evening, rice at supper time.

Please don’t book this place we had a horrible experience. I paid for my son and wife to visit Costa Rica we never stayed at an all inclusive and this was the worse place ever. Pictures are 16 years old. Location is beautiful but the hotel, food , and staff was not something I paid for. This is false pretense I paid 5k for 4 people and I regret the trip. We had to eat out most of the time, they left out the food all day. Hot dog sat all day in a tray. Pool tiles coming apart, rooms outdated. I give this place a -0 Expedia needs to fake this place off site it’s selling under false pretense. A family from another country was upset when they seen what they paid for and I’m not sure if they were able to resolve it. We had to make the best of it. I will be getting a hold of Expedia someone needs to answer for this. We paid a lot of money for this vacation that was a horrible stay. I took pictures I hope I can upload

Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. 2 double beds and a separate room with a king bed, 1 bathroom. The 1 bathroom was a little tricky especially in the morning and at shower time, but we made it work. Our only complaint for the room is no hot water for showers, but maybe this is throughout the property.

We liked the food as it was more authentic than a different property we stayed at right before going to Condovac. We would've liked the buffet eggs at breakfast to be more cooked.

We loved the setting being higher in the mountains, a lot of animals, a short walk (or shuttle ride provided by the property) to the beautiful beach and a little store right by the beach for souvenirs or to restock toiletries/snacks. The shuttle became a great option as we tired from walking up the steep road to the main part of the resort.

The main part is where the pools are, the dining hall with plenty of seating, a bath house & workout building with weights and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the lizards and iguanas walking around the pool deck! Listening to and seeing howler monkeys! We wish there were more pool chairs/loungers. Too few of loungers for even half the guests to use. They were taken quickly and people were not shy about leaving a towel on it while they weren't using it for hours at a time.

The 4 pools were very clean. Beautiful infinity pools! Wading area and shallow pool for younger kids. Staff was awesome 24/7!!!

The place is basically Costa Rica on a budget . The amenities are ok . The rooms are down a hill that you have to wait for a car to come get you or you walk which is very inconvenient especially if you are with children because having to go up and down to go eat etc . The food is not great and very limited it’s basically 2 proteins some rice and salad . Not really buffet at all . More like school cafeteria style . If your looking to just stay at the hotel I wouldn’t recommend but if you need somewhere cheap to stay and your gonna eat out etc then it’s a good spot to stay. Also the rooms are clean and staff is friendly and very helpful. Pool is nice too and the view is great

Only thing I really had a problem with was the food , the food was horrible I booked a romantic stay so I got to eat at both of the restaurants the private restaurant was soo nasty I’m not a picky eater most days I eat frozen foods I wouldn’t even feed that food to my dog honestly surprised I didn’t get sick , the buffet some days had good food some days had bad food , considering the money I spent for all inclusive I would’ve saved my money just ate off resort

The pictures are very deceiving. Property ruin down. Food horrible. The staff was nice especially bar tender Gene. Four pools there might be 10 chase lounge that was broken. Pool towels had holes in them. You have to walk up one hell of a hill to go to the pool and buffet. Tub wouldn’t drain, let’s not forget about the ants in the room.They do have a shuttle if available. Pizza bar not open. No phones in rooms if there is a problem. Plus they never answered the phone if I called from my cell. Walk ways are dark. We got food poisoning that landed me in the ER when we finally made it home after canceling 3 flights from being so sick. I would avoid this place because it’s made me never want to go back to CR

La habitación le falta pintura y eso que es una habitación por la cual se paga más .Dicen que tiene un mini bar y es un cerveza grande y dos botellas de agua.
Aparte llegamos el jueves y hasta el sábado nos llevaron otros paños, cuando se está en un hotel de playa se entiende que las personas se bañan más seguido. Escribí dos veces al WhatsApp del hotel para solicitar lo mismo .
Otro punto importante fue el desayuno donde el Pinto se sentía seco , la urna de las frutas sucias . El personal amable eso sí pero me parece muy raro que no tenga sustituto de azúcar mi marido es diabético y no tenían .
En teoría desde la habitación se veía el mar , imposible porque los árboles no tenían mantenimiento y las hojas no dejan ver el mar.
La cena que es aparte muy buena pero me parece que una sola persona que sea la que haga todo es incómodo.
En general se pasó bien pero siento que hay detalles que no invitan a volver .

The only thing nice about this place was the courtesy of the staff and the amazing view. Had room where caulk was put over mold and had cracked walls. AC didn’t work and asked twice to fix. Raccoons took housing above our room so they moved us to another room that had no hot water. You only get two towels in your room and mini bar is 2 waters and 1 beer. Pool towel exchange was missing towels for large parts of the day during our stay. Buffet is four items for example rice, fried banana, sliced potatoes and pork. Breakfast was recent and basic as well. On the days the restaurant is open that is your best choice, you need to make your reservation between 2-4 and order your meal then. Bar open from 10am-10pm with ok drinks. Shuttle to get around hotel is constant. You get free shuttle from airport but pay $35 USD per person to return.

RACOONS! If you like racoons, this is the resort for you. They were living in the ceiling of our room (2400’s). The pool was the highlight, when it wasnt closed because the bacteria levels were too high. The beach was great and the views were absolutely amazing. Off site excursions were great. The restaurant next door was also very good. Some of the kitchen staff was unhelpful and rude, but the front desk was generally helpful but would not provide information about dining or events. By the way, all inclusive means free drinks and a buffet for all meals open during specific windows. There was a small on site restaurant opened every other day that was good if you could reserve one of the few available tables. The scenery does include closed childrens carnival rides, closed restaurants, and often times only one bar was open.

Overall, Costa Rica was amazing and we will definitely return! Just not to this resort…

I was disappointed because much of what they advertised (and why we paid $ to stay at this particular property) flat out didn’t exist. There is no beach volleyball, no basketball courts, no arcade, there is no pizzeria, there is not more than 1 restaurant-actually there is a buffet that has very little variety and the same thing day after day and there is another restaurant that (despite being specifically listed on our reservation) they refused to let us eat there. Our room was in very poor condition (but in all fairness-we went into another person’s room and it was much better). There is no hot tub (there is an area that we think is supposed to be but probably broken). We were able to stay positive and we made the most of our stay but we do feel lied to and a bit cheated - very disappointed in the property. Positive—-The view was great!! We liked Costa Rica. We may go back but not likely to this location. I would not recommend this property.

Pool closed everyday for fouling all the time. Hot tub is a polar plunge. Lots of Canadians looking for somewhere else to stay. In a land that has fruit vegetables and chocolate there are none available here. Maid opened safe and she has purse and passport for us to check out cause she wanted to clean the room early . Buffet is not a buffet ad should read hot meal available and drinks all included Buffet is a two star Cuba buffet. Actually maybe be a one star Cuba resort. Everything is broken carousel merry go round. Fruit stand closed. Old hotdog fries and stale buns to eat Room is on a huge hill up and down to get to pool or you can wait for full trolley that won’t stop. GO TO Secrets or Rui or Occidental don’t waste you money or time here

The resort is not what it used or appears to be in photos. My wife, daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in March 2026 and purchased the \"all inclusive\" package. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but there was no wi-fi in the rooms. The buffet was repetitive serving the bare minimums and on one night left over ribs only the second time around they were covered in fresh bbq sauce. The transportation offered to move folks from the rooms, beach, pool and restaurants took between 15-20 minutes as there was only one vehicle shuttling folks up the mountain. The area is beautiful, the beach wonderful but the restaurant area was in terrible shape. The Ferris wheel, bumper cars and carrousel were not operating. Find another place for your money.

Pool was full of trash and everything was broken. The \"all inclusive\" food and drink was 4-5 buffet items and 2L bottles of soda / beer (draft equipment was broken). I've never seen a resort serve beer out of 40oz bottles. Jacuzzi was cold, room was dirty, outdated and in disrepair. Dead tropical plants everywhere. This place is not taken care of... They charge the same as every place around but clearly don't invest anything in keeping the property clean / staffed / in usable condition. The view and the beach are nice, coincidentally the only things not really under their control. We left our two night stay after one night and stayed elsewhere down the beach. Hotel is refused a refund for the second night even though the place isn't busy. Avoid.

The pictures on the Expedia listing are not accurate. The whole property is filty and unsanitary. In rooms and common areas there is mold, rust peeling paint and trash everywhere. This property is a health hazzard. The food is not eatable and very minimum choices.

The area was amazing with a beautiful view. The hotel needs alot of updates. It advertised 2 restaurants, but only had one which was all buffet. We paid for a mini bar in our room. We only had it filled when we arrived and never again after that. We were told that it gets filled every other day, however that never happened. The drinks we did get we had to go ask for on our second day there. The staff was nice and the view was great. The hotel needs to add some restaurants.

The amenities offered are not actually available. There is no water slide, no life guard, no beach bar, no ball for basketball court, no arcade. It says there are 2 restaurants, there are zero restaurants just a buffet that is very basic. We were expecting more because of what was in the ad. The resort is outdated but clean. - Airport shuttle is not free - Expedia says \"Airport shuttle included,\" but I had to pay $70 for the shuttle back to the airport unless I purchased 3 excursions from the excursion company at the resort

Room was in good condition and large with kitchen. Comfortable bed. Beach sand is soft. Pools were nice and at top of hill with the food & drinks. Some common areas need a bit of maintenance/upkeep.
Rooms are down the steep hill in rows. Stayed in 300's about 1/2 way down. Walking down was not bad, did not need to walk up as shuttle arrived at the right times.
The shuttle ran a loop that seemed pretty frequent. They say every 5-15 min, but never had to wait even 5. Only time I saw it full was the 7am first run when everyone wanted breakfast then too. Though the resort did not seem very crowded.
Food and drinks are the low point. Beer is local Imperial which is good. Only have about 5 bottles of generic alcohol for anything else. One rum, scotch, tequila, vodka, and maybe a couple more bottles. So they can't make all drinks. No name brand bottles like the Expedia pictures show.
Food is also limited. About a 6 warming tray buffet. Generally the meat was too tough to cut with the knives they provided. Saw someone with burgers, but not sure how to get one of those. Dessert was good. Breakfast they can make omlets.

This was a run-down property that was not accurately described. There are relics of play ground toys from a yester year, an abandoned ice cream shop and a scary looking club that had grass and weeds growing out of it. The food was the same every day probably leftovers from the day before. The drinks were watered down. They kept running out of knives and forks. One set of salt and ketchup for the entire dining area.
Good things about this place: close to the airport, close by wildlife and the infinity pool. This was a glorified 1 star accommodation.

The worst travel experience ever. We went on a family vacation and didn't receive the services and accommodation we were offered at Hotels.com description.
The hotel is undergoing financial and legal challenges and the maintenance at the property was not existent; the children playground, arcade, and game room were closed; mosaic tiles in the children pool missing, with cement exposed on the floor with the risk of injury; the beach was dirty with broken glass; no lifeguard was available; not even one chair for guests available at the beach.
The room was dirty. Our reservation was for 6 guests and we received linens and towels for 4 people only. No hands towel available. When asking for the missing linens and towels they said that it was not possible. We had to beg for the bed sheets and towels and had made the two beds ourself.
Most of the staff, including the Operations Manager, was unfriendly. I understand because 3 of them told us that they had not received the salary for the last 2 weeks. They had no motivation to work or provide good customer service.
The food was poor quality and low quantity. Only some repetitive dishes remained available for hours.
This was a terrible vacation experience and we moved to another hotel. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody.

This property is extremely dated and not kept up properly. The pictures online are old when the resort was in its prime. There is a lot of old kid playtime equipment sitting unused and rusting and very visible. The good news is the pools are okay, still need some upkeep, but are an okay part of the property. There is ONE main restaurant by the pool and one very small other by booking only. The rooms are dated as well. The location of the resort and the beach are its redeeming qualities. The views are stunning and the beach is calm, warm, and gorgeous. I would not return to this specific resort if asked.

So the place in general is beautiful. The view is amazing, and the pool area is very nice. This is an all inclusive hotel…..the food is horrible though. We had to go eat out for dinner just because we couldn’t with the food. No variety, and it was just not good at all. We went with our toddler and there was no kid appropriate food, we saw some other kids just eat plain rice and they were complaining too. Breakfast was “ok” but we didn’t even stay for lunch, it was not worth it for us. Staff was nice though, but unless you’re okay with a very limited menu I would not recommend coming here. Only the view is worth it.

The staff was absolutely amazing however the resort is in need of a lot of repairs. We switched rooms due to the hot water not working. Then the resort didn’t have wine, the “2nd restaurant” was only for the “honeymoon package” and the beach bar never opened. The views were beautiful and we made the best of it! The beach and sunset were spectacular. We heard the property sold when we were there so hopefully the needed repairs are done.
