We only stayed one night and it was disappointing. They do not stock kettles in rooms, but told us we could boil water in a pot for tea.
The pull out sofa was so bad that one of our children slept on the floor on a camping mat and we had and another child put a sheet on the sofa as is and slept there. Several of the lamps would not turn on and several outlets didn't work. The toilet seat broke too during our stay. We've had a good history with Residence Inns. I was surprised at this. Since we had booked with Expedia (3rd party), no compensation for all these inconveniences was offered when we reported things to staff.

We stayed one night as were visiting for a kids soccer tournament.
We were upgraded to a suite with a separate room and it was good!
The attention was great, and breakfast included was also good for our family.
The obvious thing I may suggest is to improve the sofa bed.
It was impossible to sleep on it, maybe a more sturdy mattress would improve it.
But other than that, it’s a great hotel for what we needed.

Parking was free and great lots of room. Hotel and rooms were nice. Pool and hottin were great. Location was awesome right off the highway 401.

Only issue i can say is the breakfast area and location. It was so small and tight. Not good flow with other people also tryiing to get food. Sitting area was small too if alot of people are there. Gettig the food was extremely small, no room to moce around.

Pet haven— property has a smell; so many pets I would not DARE try the buffet style breakfast. Additionally, the layout is convoluted and inconvenient. Lights out in certain areas of the kitchen; broken remote control; poor service from staff. Will not be returning.

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed the location. The only complaints I have are that the only meat for breakfast was sausage. When you stay for 4 days, it's nice to see a variety. The other was that the hot tub was closed. Again this was minor. Someone mentioned there was glass in there. I appreciate the closure for safety and the prompt reopening of it.

The concierge was on a personal call when we arrived adn didn't bother to end the call or at least put it on hold and put it away for a minute. The room was clean and neat. Unfortunately the door on the hall closet was loose and didn’t close well. The door on the bedroom didn’t close because the hinges were not aligned properly. The toilet roll holder was broken.
The continental breakfast was good. Plenty of food. Pool was ok. Early swim so maybe hadn’t been cleaned from previous day making it a little cloudy. Staff were kind and helpful when we asked for assistance.

We chose this hotel for its convenient location close to the highway and the in-room kitchen, as we needed a comfortable place to stay while work was being done in our home.

Check-in was quick and seamless, and thanks to Ravi’s excellent service, we were settled in in no time.

The room was clean and exactly what we needed.

There were plenty of electrical outlets, which made it very convenient to charge all our devices, including phones, laptops, a Switch, and a PS5.

The kitchen was a standout feature, with what appeared to be brand-new appliances and a great amount of space.

The dresser and closet were very helpful in keeping our belongings organized for our family of four during our four-night stay.

We also appreciated the layout of the bathroom, with the sink located outside of the shower and toilet area. This made it much more functional and convenient for multiple people to use.

Breakfast was enjoyable, especially on the days when bacon was served (alternating with sausage).
There were plenty of options, and I especially loved the waffles and the variety of toppings.

Overall, thank you for making our stay comfortable and helping us maintain our daily routines while being away from home.

Overall the hotel is nice,friendly front staff and clean. The complimentary breakfast is great!
We have stayed here multiple times and were sadly disappointed in the pool. It was freezing to the point of being unable to use it. The hottub was even cold with pieces of the hottub coming to the surface.
Some maintenance and upgrades are required at this point for the pool.

It's a lovely hotel. The suite was very nice. However the sofa bed mattress was absolutley terrible, shameful for a hotel really. There was a very large very loud party happening on the second floor we started hearing it around 7:00pm and I ended up having to call down around 11:30pm to ask the staff when they would ask them to stop. I was there with my two year old. I would have hoped staff would have asked it to stop on their own. It wasn't until shortly after midnight that the party stopped. Although a lovely space terrible bed and no noise contral made for a not very relaxing stay. But eh you want to have a raging party this could be your place doesn't seem like staff cares about noise control.

Room was very clean, smart TV was ready for use and logged in with a message welcoming us by name. Linens fresh. Staff were very friend and check in was super quick and easy. Areas that could have been tweaked for the best experience: the eggs and hashbrowns and coffee at breakfast buffet were cold when we got food at 7:30am. The warming stations did not appear to have heat under them. We also had no shower soap in our room. Minor things that could have made things that much better.

Went to get a coffee at around 4pm on Sat and it was cold, good thing their was a micro in the room. The morning breakfast was good except the coffee was cold. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel room was clean and the staff was lovely! The pool was a great temperature for those of us who like it on the warmer side. My ONLY complaint - the pull out sofa was uncomfortable. We sat on the couch before it was pulled out and we sunk into the centre of it. When we pulled it out into a bed, it felt like a thin foam mattress rolled out over springs that jutted into your back and sides all night! The bed on the other hand was VERY comfy and the kitchenette was super handy! I'd stay here again but I'd have to insist on a double bed - no sofa bed.

The breakfast was not bad but was served on paper plates with plastic forks. There’s no reason why ceramic tableware couldn’t be used and it would be better for the environment. The room was not made up on Dec 25 and 26 to give staff time off for Christmas but I stayed until the 28 and did not receive housekeeping at all. I would assume staffing is a problem or just laziness but is an insufficient excuse when we as the public are paying for a product that is not delivered.

The ' suite' fridge leaked water the whole time [ 3 days], we were there ! Storage containers [ recyclables], of food in fridge became soggy and wet; had to throw out a lot good food, gone SOGGY, because of the water..ON EVERY SHELF ! Reported this to the ' front desk '. Was told somebody would be up there Sun. am at 10:30 am to resolve the problem. Come 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 am, NO ONE showed up . On check out Mon. am, I specifically told Ravi Soni[ operations manager ] about the problem and that I was very disappointed in the non-response to the leaking fridge. I also told him that one of the bathroom doors in one the bedrooms did not close at all , which was annoying to say the least. I inquired of Ravi, about compensation of the leaking fridge; he said something could be worked out the next time I booked; say what ? the next time ? I did tell him that our family had been doing this Christmas get-together going on 3 yrs. and that it worked out for everyone in our family; book a suite with 2 bdrms., and facilities for cooking , etc.I told him , instead of booking for next year at that moment, that I would be searching out other accomodation options; i.e., Holiday Inn next door, or Best Western hotels or or other hotels in the GTA East, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa areas; Ravi basically ' blew me off ', and I left; and NOT in a good frame of mind. I must say kudos to the housekeeping staff; they do a fabulous job and in a very friendly manner.....better than ' front desk '.

The pull out couch was barely a bed, it was so thin and uncomfortable my 11 year old who weighs 80lbs soaking wet couldn’t get comfortable and the thin blankets left little additional comfort. Carpets also had questionable dark stains. However on the positive, it has everything you need for a stay in terms of a fully equipped kitchen in the room and all the utensils. The complementary breakfast was also pretty decent, and location was accessible. However I would not stay there again just due to it not having 2 bed rooms.

I had a guy shouting swear words and banging doors the whole of the second Evening of my stay. Corridors semelles like marijuana. This went on and off for hours and reception did nothing. I felt very unsafe.

I found out the next day that this hotel rents rooms to the governement, so basically of you are a business or family traveller you have to cope with behaviour and share facilities with people on govermnent programs.

Very shocking for a Marriott, no need to say I’ll never stay there again.

I cant actually give a review on the hotel as my reservation was moved to Oshawa. I received an email the day before. We were traveling with a team and the only ones moved from our group. I appreciated them finding me a room as everywhere was booked solid but it was further away. There was some confusion as to the charge for the room. I was told there would be no charge but they meant no charge for the additional cost of the other room. The other hotel was more expensive. It worked out but i didnt love the experience.
