Clive
Super 8 by Wyndham on Westney Road in Pickering delivered a genuinely comfortable and welcoming stay. The staff were attentive from the moment I arrived, making check‑in smooth and easy. My room was clean, quiet, and well‑maintained, with all the essentials exactly where they needed to be. The location just south of Highway 401 is incredibly convenient, especially for travellers passing through or visiting the area. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and relaxed. A dependable, pleasant hotel experience that I would happily return to.
Gerald
La proximité de la salle pour les déjeuners et la propreté de cette salle.
Simon
Stayed for 2 nights. Great price with breakfast included. Clean rooms and just off the 401 highway.
Adam
Stay somewhere else unless you have to stay here. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this time I have to. Pool is grungy, room and shower are not well maintained, beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are terrible, half used shampoo bottle in the shower, staff are not friendly, breakfast was not good at all. Not much good to stay about this place to be honest.
Kenneth
Not as clean as usual. Air conditioner was loud
Brenda
This place is an absolute abomination, a total garbage place to stay. Go anywhere else but here.
Marie-Joseé
The staffs were excellent.
Courtney
Absolutely filthy room. Definitely a “keep your shoes on and check the sheets” kind of stay. If it wasn’t so late when we stopped, we would have gone somewhere else. Didn’t even want to shower because the floor of the shower was grimy and little hairs on it.
Kim
Convenient location

Everything and everyone was great, even check me in early so I could get to Toronto for a baseball game on time!

I had one of the worst motel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly not cared for. The biggest problem was that there was no hot water in the bathroom, making it impossible to take a proper shower or even wash comfortably.
A clean room and reliable hot water are basic expectations for any motel, and this place failed to provide either. I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this motel to anyone unless these serious issues are addressed.

Clean room- room was cold but great after our long trip- pool was refreshing. Rooms are updated. Lived microwave and fridge. Hallways were a bit dirty but overall room was clean and inviting- breakfast was so/so.
Joanne
The room was very clean I love that. No one check on us on till the last 30 minutes before we checked out that’s was not good.it was hard to take a shower because the shower door kept coming off the groove that was very dangerous for me and my 11 year old son the door fall on him and I had to fight to get it back in the groove they need to do something about that over all it was just okay ..
Nelly

Sound didn’t work on the tv and no hot water in the shower. Won’t be staying here again
Neil
The toilet seat was broken, the recepticals in the bathroom did not work, or the one in the hall. The cupboard door to the fridge was broken. Only two hooks to hang up clothing. Mirror was was missing on the wall.
Karen
Staff very friendly and helpful. Property is very run down and bad odour in hallways. Room was slightly updated but still run down.
Bobby
Enjoyed our stay there. The room was very clean.
Excellent location, with several food joints walking distance away.
The breakfast had a good range and variety.
Ample free parking.
Will definitely stay there again.

It’s a two star hotel. Sketchy at best. The room seamed clean. The bed was comfortable. The check-in guy was more interested in his phone calls than me. The next guy was friendly and we had a good conversation. Loads of people sitting in the parking lot for some reason. Back door propped open with a rock. Breakfast was ok
maryse
shower had mildew in the corners :-( aside of that all was good, breakfast was nice.
Karl
The room was ok. The bed was poor. Breakfast was ok although I didn’t eat much there. Basically I would call it an ok visit and I probably wouldn’t go again
Robert
Second year I stayed because of the price so as cheap hotels go, I'm glad it is there. I've certainly stayed in far worse for the same price. Both years, different rooms, the toilet seat was held on my only one screw so it swung sideways. The juice machine was put of order all three days and it implies that perhaps they're saving money by not offering juice with there breakfast. Coffee was very good. Rooms were ok. TV was good, check in and out were very good. Just a bunch of little things that could be done better. Overall it needs upkeep that I don't think they are really interested in.
Aravindan
Not the best for the price.
Ayman
Mattress and bed were terrible.
Breakfast was close to nothing.

Very good would go again
Chantal
Pool was lovely, rooms were clean. Front desk didn’t give us any info regarding pool or breakfast times but signs were posted. We were checked in and given an already occupied room.
nathalie
Our room was fully renovated. Very good quality for price, was not expecting would be so modern and no carpet in room which is great plus. Fully recommend.

No hot water in the bathroom sink .... toilet doesn't flush good... the keys kept locking us out the room and the concierge was not helpful and did not fix it
Stéfan

Colinda
the room wasn't cleaned and I took photos to show this to the Evening and the morning front desk staff. The Air conditioning panel didn't work and the toilet didn't flush.

The property is located in a good location easy access to highway, restaurants and shopping and hospital. Didn't interact much with staff but when I did they were friendly. As it is under the umbrella of Wyndham was disappointed in the appearance of carpets that had stains and looked very old and room was generally clean but drawers were not wiped or areas dusted. Not enough towels in the room for more than one person. I would stay again if needed but wouldn't be my first choice.

SPERM ALL OVER THE COMFORTERS. STAINS ON THE SHEETS. DUSTY AND FLOORS NOT SWEPT. PEE ON THE TOILETS.
THAT WAS THE FIRST ROOM!!!
SECOND ROOM WE CHECKED - TOILET SEAT NOT CONECTED TO THE TOILET.
ROOM WAS A BIT CLEANER UNTILL I SAW THE WHITE STIP OF SOMETHING ON THE OUTTER PART OF THE COMFORTER.
DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOUR A PLANNING ON SHOOTING UP AND HAVE NO NEED FOR HYGENE!!

Hotel is looking beat up and in poor condition. Breakfast was edible at best.
Sarah
A bit older, but well maintained and clean
Katherine
It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend a stay
Mieke
Probably pay a little more and stay somewhere clean and updated

There were a few little things that brought our rating down.
Took almost almost 5 minutes for someone to show up to the front desk to check us in.
Our room was not fully cleaned before check in - found an unopened juice bottle and socks under the chair, and there was urine around the bottom of the toilet seat. The shower door did not close properly, and the bathroom fan sounded like it was not installed properly. Door locking mechanism was loose, which made opening the door difficult.
Beds were comfy, pool was clean, breakfast was minimal, we believe they watered down the waffle mix.

Mouse in the lobby and also seen outside main doors. No hot water in hotel when we returned from long day and the power had been out that day as well but they forgot to turn the boiler back on. Rooms were very dirty, bathroom floor was very creaky and shifted when you stepped in one part. toilet seat shifted around almost all the way so risky to use. Rooms were not made up or garbage taken out.
Jessie
Don’t book here ! Rodents , unclean rooms , power was out all day and no hot water at night for showers, wasn’t given the room we booked. And was told they only have one size room, so when I booked with the understanding that my room would be bigger compared to the others and paid more for it , I was told they don’t have bigger rooms , I then felt scammed into paying more for the basic room . No one to help at the front desk. And key cards would stop working randomly.
Sherry
There was not one thing that was good about our stay.
Use the door key once, and would not work a second time.
Garbage was not emptied. No new towels.
Let the front desk know about a rodent entering the building through a Crack that was directly under our window. A mouse literally in the lobby as well.
Power was turned off sometime Saturday, and guests were not notified.
We were all gone for almost 18 hours on Saturday for a tournament. Got back and 9 of our rooms had no hot water for anyone to have a shower.
In fact, the entire motel had no hot water.
No breakfast until 7:00am. But weekdays it's open at 6:00am.
Pretty much backwards.
It was the worst stay of anywhere we have been.
We would recommend that you remove this motel from your list.

This property has really gone downhill since we stayed there a few years ago. The furniture was broken. The couch was covered in stains. No hair dryer in the room. And mould in the shower.
Evelyn
No major issues. It was good.
Scott
It was good for the money
Valerie
Beds were so confortables

Food was absolute zero, not something I looked forward to, disposable paper plates provided if you want, I don’t want to imagine taking cereal in a disposable paper plate or making kids take cereal in that kind of plate. The room is simply bare, the bathroom door will not open entirely as it is leaning on the toilet seat 😂 and a lot more but I will stop at less !

I was anxious about the notes in the parking lot regarding Lost of property. It is the very first time I went to a hotel not to be able to secure the cars in its parking lot. That is not a good sign and obviously non satisfactory at all.
carole
Room was very clean. We did not eat breakfast , Air conditioner worked .

Nous avons appelé pour reporter notre réservation car notre show a été annulé. Ils ont accepté et ne nous ont jamais dit de contacter Expedia. Ils nous ont annulé et jamais reporté et ils ont crédité l’hôtel.

Good day, My stay was good. the bathroom floor very slippery as i slipped getting out of the shower. the rooms are dated but it was clean. the staff at the site were helpful.
Daniel
La chambre était mal entretenue et il y avait de la moisissure dans la douche. Le système de cable ne fonctionnait pas et le mobilier était dans un état lamentable.
Katherine
Pool has short hours, Wasn't able to enjoy it.
Our room was a little dirty.
And our shower door broke, hotel was full we couldn't move rooms so we couldn't shower.

Everything was clean and breakfast was quite good. I would stay again.

Jason Matthew
it was quiet, convenient and close to where i needed to be.

We had a very good stay. Love the location. Can walk to GO station to get GO train to downtown Toronto. Room was clean, pool was well maintained, breakfast had lots of options.
Clive
Clean bed and sheets, room floor dirty. Shower dirty. Hallway smelled of rotting food left by delivery company. Air conditioning good. Breakfast is very basic selection but ok. ✅

I was able to find a great price for a two night stay at this location visiting family so really I can’t complain.
The property/room was clean but could use a refresh ie carpets, bed covers - or at least have them professionally cleaned. I’m also quite sure that the building is entirely wooden construction so you hear everything which can be disturbing - so bring earplugs if you like quiet, even on the top floor 😊
The included breakfast is a nice touch but very basic.
Check in/out was quick and easy, staff were welcoming/nice and the location is perfect for everything including a short walk to the go train.
I’d stay again.
Thanks

Was not able to stay in the room i reserved. Was provided a small discount for my inconvenience. But the room no longer met the needs of my family. The room was in poor repair. Pull out, mattress was very old and had a poor quality mattress. Furniture was damaged. Hotel staff was not able to bring additional towels to my room. I had to retrieve them on my own. Hot water did not last and long enough for a shower. Would not recommend or ever bring my family back.
Sarah
Check in was easy, staff was helpful, rooms and hotel is dated. Pool area is well maintained. Room itself was just ok, fairly clean, our toilet ran all night long.
Megan
Horrible experience i would never recomend anyone staying at this property. Hookers hotel .... i felt so uncomfortable having my daughter there . Dirty bed sheets dried blood on wall ... horrible staff. Was supposed to be a smoke free hotel both rooms smelt like a legit ash tray .
Disgusting

The breakfast was fine. However, the TV system with Rogers Nextbox worked poorly, despite several reboot attempts (couldn't get one TV to work at all). We experienced a similar problem with their TVs at our 1st stay there in Sept 2024 and had left a complaint about it then.

Amazing reception

We had an issue with our toilet, the seat was broken. We tried to call down to the front desk but our phone was not working. Went down and waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone showed up. Manager on Duty Raj, switched our rooms. New room had no closet, no where to hang jackets/clothes, window was broken, glass had a crack from one end to the other. Floor was first and sticky, and bottle of shampoo was empty. Terrible all around. And the price was way too much for the condition of the property. Will never stay here again, and will never recommend to any of my clients.
Sunil
Friendly and pleasant staff.
Linda
My only concern was the pillows were small and the mattress too giving..not firm everywhere. The whole building was very clean
Karen Angella

Stayed here for one night on April 25-26
Arrived a few mins after check in got all set up and then i went up to the room they ga e me and the hotel staff was outside the room with the door open.. not sure if they even started cleaning it or was in the process of doing it.. anyways thats fine mistakes happen went down and got another room but thats not even the worst part
I had stepped out to go to the store and when i got back there was this couple using a keycard to go into the new room that they assigned me! We all go downstairs and they said it was thier fault and they did not vhange it in the system that they gave me another room so to them the second room they gave me was available like what if i was sleeping or even didnt get back in time to catch them before they entered.. whos to say they wouldnt go through my stuff.. anyways thats something that should NEVER happen again !

Breakfast was okay but the swimming pool they have the classes there and my kids were not able to enjoy the swimming pool they have to swim at restricted area the pool is for the guest and not for the swimming classes really disappointed.
Jonathan
The room was overall clean, however the bed sheets and pillow cases had some ingrained stains on them and the AC and heating unit was a bit old. The manager on duty Raj was super helpful when I checked-in. The breakfast was very average - cold boiled eggs, very basic bread and bagel and I didn't really appreciate the old indian man who was taking care of the breakfast area constantly monitoring and going in and out instead of leaving everyone in peace. Seemed a bit excessive.
Sanjeev
It’s a very good place to stay over at very affordable Price.
Erica
Overall my stay was good. The waffle maker at breakfast wasn't very good but there were other options for food. My room was clean and comfortable with lots of convenient outlet to plug in devices.
SHELBY
Staff were very nice & room was clean. The 3rd floor had a bit of a musty smell in the hallway & this hotel houses a lot of construction workers so there was a lot of big trucks running outside at 5 am and heavy work boots stomping around very early.
John
All good . Noisy on the Westney side from traffic
Katie
Second visit in 2 weeks - pool still good, breakfast still carb heavy, but loved that there was a breakfast at all. Check in was easy and room still fine for a nights sleep - however - as I was trying to get my kid to bed at 9:30pm she pointed out that smeared on the wall were several boogers. It looked as though a previous occupant was laying in bed and just picked their nose and wiped it on the wall. So gross, but we had to get up very early for a dance competition so we just went to bed. I informed the front desk about this, but yeah....basically I was told that we should have asked for another room that night.....at 9:30pm with us having to get up very early.....not super impressed with that one.
Rodney
They were family friendly.
