Modern, clean, inviting, good breakfast, well designed, friendly staff. Excellent hotel and would highly recommend. It doesn't have a pool, which we were fine with, but that might be crucial for some people as a heads up.

Nice new hotel and excellent quality for the money. Our room was very clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. Breakfast was good however the meat section lacked. Sausage 2 days in a row and not cooked enough other than that it was good. We would def stay again.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. The lobby was great for hanging out, grabbing a snack or drink or watching TV. Room was exceptionally clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of food and beverage choices for breakfast. Short drive to the GO station and a Mandarin restaurant right next door.

We checked in late evening and while walking up to the property front door, a few kids threw a rock that hit the front glass door that just missed us and our small kids. We told the girl working the front counter desk and she denied hearing the rock hit the glass which was a lie because it was so loud. Those kids around 5 were out messing around alone no parents looking for trouble. The staff did not at all.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for lack of any security or safety for stayers.

Clean modern building. The room was very large as was the bathroom. Lobby had a spacious lounge area with a tv and an area where you could purchase snacks. Coffee was available all day. All staff members we encountered were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of both hot and cold items. Lots of tables and areas to sit. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for one night with our family of four (two kids) and had a great experience overall.
The staff were very friendly and check-in was smooth.
The room was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone and our bags. The beds were comfortable, though we did notice both beds were quite squeaky.
The hotel has a very modern, vibrant vibe. The kids loved playing foosball in the lobby after dinner! Despite being right next to a small airport, our room was perfectly quiet and we didn't hear any outside noise.
The free breakfast was excellent. The highlight for the kids was the automatic pancake machine (you literally wave your hand and it makes two pancakes), plus they had a ton of topping options, eggs, and sausage. The coffee was very good and available 24/7 in the lobby.

There was plenty of parking available, including EV chargers. The location is a bit off the Hwy 401, but still very convenient with plenty of restaurants and services nearby.
Highly recommend for families traveling through Oshawa!

This hotel has lots of parking and has some outdoor seating. Great lobby with lots of seating areas for lounging or having your breakfast. The rooms are very nice, clean and overall the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is included which is great. Very good pricing as well. The staff is excellent and very responsive. We would book there again for sure.

Everything was good, but because of an outage by Rogers, there wasn't any TV to watch.
I realize it was beyond the control of the hotel, but I asked for a discount in place of the problem with the TV and they reduced my bill by 10%
I was satisfied with the trade off. I really liked the availability of fresh coffee in the lobby available at any time.

It was a great hotel. With a lovely breakfast. Air conditioning was good accept while sleeping it seem to go up from where it was set prior to going to bed. I would of rated the stay higher if it wasn't for the technical issues they were having with the TV/cable, even being unable to use my debit card to pay for snacks at the front desks. The rooms were modern and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

For seniors the rooms are dangerous! Furniture and the one chair in the room are all on rollers resting on laminated flooring. Hence, anyone trying to get up out of a chair, or holding onto a desk is in danger as the furniture can move when weight is placed on the item. I can appreciate for cleaning staff the ease the design provides in cleaning rooms, but for anyone needing to rest a hand on furnishings that can roll, is dangerous. Plus amazing at this stage with a new hotel there is a lack of conveniently placed charging outlets for cellphones, tablets, etc. Hopefully better planning the future.
Otherwise a nice hotel.

I really loved this hotel. The amenities, design, staff and breakfast were all great.

My only minor complaint was not much hot water in the shower in the morning. The first day it was fine, the second not so much. I heard someone else mention it too so maybe it was just an off day.

Newer hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and had some variety. Being a new hotel, it is in very good shape and clean. Great restaurant across the street (The hangout) and buffet restaurant next door.

If you find yourself in the area, this is a great option.

The staff at check-in were amazing. I arrived 90 min before the check in time and mentioned that I had a meeting starting in 30min. The staff got me into my room early and saved me from having to do a zoom meeting in the lobby which was what I was fully expecting to do. The hotel is new, modern and clean. The beds are great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Shoutout to Chemona at the front desk for going out of her way to accommodate me.

I initially booked this hotel for 4 nights, but ended up extending my stay to 8 — and honestly, I would have stayed even longer. I stay in a lot of hotels and tend to be fairly picky, but this was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was spotless, modern, and very well maintained. I especially appreciated the free breakfast each morning, the 24-hour coffee bar, free parking, and the ample EV chargers available for charging my car.

My room was on the smaller side, but since I was traveling alone, it worked perfectly. The layout was extremely functional and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom had plenty of storage space, a beautiful shower, and really nice shampoo and conditioner products. There’s also a small bar fridge, a hanging area for clothes with hooks, storage under the bench, and a movable table and chairs setup that worked great as a desk.

The bedding was exceptionally soft, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable — I slept great every night.

Tru by Hilton is definitely more of a basic, no-frills hotel, but they absolutely nail the essentials. Clean, comfortable, modern, and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel, and a big thank you to all of the staff who made my stay so enjoyable. Only two nights left, and I’m already going to miss it!

This is one of the smartest, inviting and friendly hotels we've had the pleasure to stay at. The room had everything you could want: a comfortable bed, a spacious shower, true blackout blinds, a garbage can that has a spot for recycling, a well sized desk and a Smart TV that was easy to navigate.
The breakfast was above and beyond. Lots of hot and cold options. And the best part - a large, colourful, inviting space to enjoy it in! No stark white rooms with cramped tables and harsh lighting here!
The staff was friendly and attentive.
Oh - and lots of free parking!
Top notch stay! We'll be back!

We arrived here late in the around midnight with our toddler and there was massive party in the lobby.

The rooms were unkept and extremely small. There was also a smell in the room.

This is not a hotel that I would recommend in the future.

The hotel is easy to find, front desk staff was very welcoming and eager to help, breakfast better than most and parking was free and immediately outside front door.
The hotel is close to some very good eateries including the Mandarin Restaurant (right next door) and One Eye Jack Pub (5 minutes east on Taunton Rd at hwy 2).
