Everything was broken, the latch lock, the towel rack, the AC.. I told the front desk multiple times, they said each time; “It will be fixed tomorrow” a week goes by and it isn’t fixed.
the staff barged in my room while I was in there undressed. Multiple times.
Staff was very rude, always making snide comments as you walk past the lobby, or in the hallway.
The housekeepers are lazy, and complaining to me about doing their job. They don’t clean the floor properly.
One old & ugly housekeeper with fake blonde hair threatened me saying “if you don’t leave the room we can ask you to leave the motel” even though I paid thousands of dollars to stay there, and i was just trying to watch her do the job, because they do not clean properly. She threw the dirty sheets on my luggage instead of the table, and was rude many times.
Overall, this motel is of the lowest quality. There is no food served, and they only serve coffee, and sometimes they can’t even do that properly. They lie right to your face and try to walk all over you and weasel their way out.
They are very lucky and ungrateful for people’s patience.
The police are constantly at this motel. It is a regular occurrence, highlighting the run down filth of this motel even from outside the building.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 before, but it is looking quite rough. It takes a lot to keep a place up, and there certainly needs to be a deep clean and some painting done in the room and corridor to bring it up to an acceptable standard. The staff was wonderful, especially the front desk manager, who was extremely friendly and helpful. If you’re not expecting something too fancy, it’s a nice place to stay. Very basic but an awesome location.

The staff were very nice but sadly the condition of the property is seriously sad.
The floors in the room were what seemed to be the cheapest laminate possible and there was a lot of water damage. The bathroom sink didn’t even have a drain cover so you can see inside the pipe which of course is not lovely .
The toilet couldn’t be flushed twice in the span of 5 minutes as the tank was so low on refilling .
The bed was very creaky and there was a slight “smell” that I couldn’t put my finger on but it helped to have the window open in the night to get fresh air .

For the $100 to stay there, I won’t book there again.

Staff is incredible helpful, Reception is small can get crowded, but the Staff is doing a great job so things moving faster. Rooms are ok, i guess that's what you paid for. For me and my child was to have a great bed \"clean\" and a clean great shower and that worked out PERFECTLY, cross the hotel there's a all day Breakfast, so your not missing out. Morgen coffee at Motel 6 is not bad at all..! I have tried worse coffee than this, every morning I'll start my days with Motel 6 coffee then slowly work my way to the/ a Breakfast place. Good thing about the Motel is that they have Staff all-night, you can come and go, and nothing to worry bout when you get back late to the Motel or anything to your car parked for free out side. The first red flag should have been when the guy at reception asked us to let us know within 15 minutes if there was anything wrong with our room. Now I’ve stayed in more hotels than I care to count right across Canada and this was the very first time I had ever been provided instructions like that. Perhaps the second should have been the elevator that sounded like it could barely make it to the third floor. From there it all went downhill…there was a horribly odd, musty, dirty smell in the room. The “air conditioning” was set to 10 degrees but, while blowing stale air, it was not cooling, the windows were stained with rust, the mirror hung on an angle and could not be fixed, bathroom door FILTHY on the outside and scratched and dirty on the inside. The base of the toilet was disgusting. No plug for the sink. Holes in the wall under the air vents. The list just goes on…. No need to even pack as we hadn’t unpacked. We left, told the attendant there wasn’t a chance we were staying there, pointed out the spelling mistake on their ‘rules’ plaque by their reception desk and left. It was so bad we didn’t get a refund and still drove 20kms to a different hotel and payed twice just to be able to stay somewhere safe and clean. We were told that because we booked through Expedia we couldn’t get our money back. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This property was not well maintained. It’s a “shoes on” in the room kind of stay. Our floor was sticky. The ceiling was drooping from water damage and we aren’t sure our tub was cleaned. Other than that it was ok, minus the smell of cigarette smoke that permeated the whole hotel. If the price is too good to be true - you are right.

Check in was a complete mess. There was.a.line up of 10 people qith only one staff at front desk. Most nights there was no one at the desk and the security was asleep most nights
Our room had no air conditioning. Their solutuon was to move the following day. They was no attempt to look at it or offer a fan for our comfort.
The rooms are outdated and the beds were not comfortabke.
I started to notice many people hanging around thr hotel. Its seems like they are also running a shelter. I didnt feell safe and think the hotwl should have disclosed this to us.

This is the most cost effective hotel in the area for a reason. Although they have introduced bright coloured bed covers and draperies, everything else is warn and in poor condition. First impressions - it felt like I was entering a low security prison. My room door had gaps wide enough that I could hear every little sound in the hallway, as well as guests listening to music and talking in their own room across the hall. It didn't help that all of the guests in the hotel seemed to stay in the same hallway. Doors were banging and closing every 5 minutes until well after 2:00am and guests went outside to smoke. The bed was basic, with no padding and two prison-like pillows. The vinyl floors were warn, with signs of water damage and delamination. The textured walls were splatters with various stains... some red.... some brown. I could have requested a different room, but I just wanted to go to bed. Overall, the hotel is very warn down and neglected, but the front desk clerk was helpful and and is may be the best option available at its price-point.

For the cheap price you get what you get. The air conditioning was full blast and very noisy. There is a lot of dampness on the windows. Floor bathroom is in very poor condition. We had to change rooms because there was lipstick on the mirror. Second room they had to come change de fire alarm battery as it was beeping non stop. Beds are ok...again, you get what is expected of a cheap price. The staff was extremely polite, helpful and pleasant. Thanks to them, it was doable for a night with the kids.

All was very clean at this Motel 6 - staff were pleasant - but I had requested a ground floor unit because of a sciatica problem - and they were unable to accommodate this - but there was an elevator and it was working -
also the TV in our room had very poor reception - a staff member did come up and tried to adjust it - but it was not a good evening for watching TV - the motel was full - so they could not move us - had no spare TV's for replacement - and I feel that they should have offered us a discount on our room but they did not.

The staff were amazing and super friendly. My only real complaint is the bathtub wouldn't hold water because the drain where the plug goes was corroded so we couldn't really take any baths. The room was perfect for what we needed and the price was reasonable. Super close to alot of restaurants and the go station.

We haven’t stayed at this hotel in a couple of years and it has not been well maintained. The shower was super loud and made weird noises when the water was running, the elevator sounded like it was going to break down mid ride.
We only needed it for a hockey tournament and ended up checking out a night early and going home after the games were over!

When check in the room the sink was choked complained to staff they promised to address on return in the evening issue still not addressed sink was overflowing. Promised to change the room returned late night room was never changed. In middle of night changed to room myself no help.
After few hours the power was cut, no AC, no light, no elevators, no room phone service. Power was never restored till I left around 11.00. I had to bring my luggage from satires three flight down, no help.
They promised to offer 20% discount which till date no offered. My faith in Expedia is shaken, it seems Expedia just getting commission but not taking its responsibility to ensure the facilities are up to mark and have basic amenities like power generator backup to deal with outages like this.

The rooms are very simple, but they have what you need.

The very best part of this hotel are legitimately the staff. They're all excellent. On multiple occassions they have went above and beyond for me and I am extremely grateful for that.

The hotel is definitely quirky, but over all of definitely recommend it to those who don't mind odd conversations with fellow temporary-residents, a small fridge and enjoy having a good staff behind them to help them with what they need.

The location is good, because we have a multitude of things available to us. McDonald, Wendy's, Timmies, Swiss Chalet, Harvey's, multiple gas stations that sell alcohol, Kelsey's and even a 24 hour subway.

The hotel itself has a decent vending selection and allows pets.

3 star room with 10 star staff.

I checked if surrounding businesses had no power but everything else had power. I had to leave without being able to shower. I thought about asking for a discount but can't imagine how that would work without power.

The pricing was really good, however the room was not all that. There were 2 elevators but only 1 working one. There are only 3 floors so no big deal for me. The tv kept losing signal, so it kept cutting in and out.

The mattress seemed well loved meaning there was a body groove from previous use, there was no way to avoid it.

Location wise it was easy to get to, lots of food spots and gas in the area. Lots of parking.

Again, check in was great and the staff member who checked me in was very personable.

Oh also dog friendly so was very nice to see some puppers coming in and out.

If you simply need a roof over your head, this is convenient off the 401.
It was pet friendly which is why we chose it and the dog didn't mind at all.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There was plenty of parking space available, which made things very convenient. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

The only downside was that the air conditioning was not working properly during my stay. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider staying here again.

The Ice machine was leaking all weekend causing a patron to fall.
There were no extra pillows or blankets. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillow cases smelled musty. The pillows felt like cut up foam and not easy to sleep on.
This particular branch in the chain was very disappointing as we always stay with Motel 6 when travelling but will not stay here again unless there are major updates done to this hotel.

Staff very respectful and friendly. However, the place needs a huge overhaul. Stains and damage everywhere, including the shower curtain. The main door into the bedroom had a gap on one side and you could literally see the hallway. Although, the room is clean it smells musty like a wet dog), as if a dog was living in it. The tub is very slippery and my husband almost landed on his back. The trick was to get in the shower and not move or hold on to wall while showering. It’s too bad as the patrons have done noticeable damage and the owners haven’t fixed it. However, you get what you pay for. It’s adjacent to the highway on one side, a plaza and a busy street…unfortunately, the noise from all the traffic travels in the room. We won’t stay there again.

The room was clean, although the hotel could use some cosmetic clean up. Our bathroom sink leaked when we use it. The wind whistled through the windows all night. The heat was turned off, it was very damp and only 62 degrees in the room. I had called ahead of time for adjoining rooms and when we got there they were gone.
It was comforting have a security guard on duty at night. The staff was friendly. I think the motel could use some maintenance on the inside, windows resealed, paint to freshen it up. The money spent for one night I am sure they could put some money back into the place.

the front desk gentleman was polite, helpful and knew what he was doing. He was polite and even phoned a manger to help with my frustrations. My frustrations: checking in. I did not have my wallet but i had id and my credit card on my phone. Finally after calling a manger he said he will change the reservation to my name - I booked it through expedia, put it under my husband's name because we had another booking the same night under my name at Spark's hotel. After getting that part sorted out putting in my name, your tap did not work. It was 12:20am. My credit had already been charged but i could not get into my room because of a $200 fee that had to be on the room incase of damages plus he wanted me to produce a government photo id which i had already told him right at the beginning that i did not have my wallet. I phoned my husband who was 20 mins away, so I waited for him in your little lobby. When he finally arrived he realized he had to change the name back to him then the tap of course did not work but thankfully when he inserted it worked. Meanwhile....... at the Stark Hotel down the street my friends had no problem at all checking into the room i booked for them They did not need government photo id (I have NEVER had to show government photo idea at any hotel or motel i have ever stayed at ever) . I have stayed at all kinds of economy motels and hotels and this was all so ridiculous to me. This was our first time at a Motel 6.

The property is good, staff were nice, and parking was good too.
However, it's not good that the room does not have a refrigerator. I was told to pay $20 to get one. but somehow, a lady (senior i believe) gave it to me as a complimentary.
Secondly, the pillows were way too soft like baby pillows. A request to get an extra for support was turned down on the grounds that the cleaners already left.
Third, not a single bottle of water was placed in the room as i havd to go and buy at the canadian Tyre nearby.
Third, even AirbnB gives tea or coffee, but here, you must come downstairs to the reception to make one. Same thing applies if you want hot water. Sad to see that it's a central microwave close to the reception that is available. Nothing in the room.

Rooms were a little dated by clean and comfortable. Most hotels in the area have more than doubled their rates due to FIFA soccer coming and covid losses. This hotel was $181.00 for the night but far cheaper than most others. Great restaurants nearby by within walking distance if need be. The double beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Staff had an issue constantly with me walking with my dog even though it’s pet friendly. Many staff would actually make me wait just so they could go by without interacting with my dog. My dog isn’t aggressive, and I’m not sure why people who are afraid of animals work at a fully pet friendly motel. Staff was rude to me, refused to clean my room or even ask me when they could because one time they walked in while my dog was in there because I was having a smoke. No fridge, no microwave. All of 5 tv channels that work. Cards are constantly breaking and needing to be replaced. Overall it was gross staying there, only got my room cleaned once in a week. Only got my bedding changed once in a week. It’s more expensive than other motels that are BY FAR better.

Parking didn’t look safe at all. I asked for a 6 am wake up call and didn’t get one. The police were there on Saturday morning due to a husband and wife fighting with each other and their kid was running a muck everywhere. No fridge was on it the room like said online when we booked the room. My room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced after Friday night use had to reuse what was there. Call down no one answered. Saturday night the fight was on again with the same family. The mother was beaten the kid in the hallway. Husband was screaming at the wife. A dog was barking down the hallway both nights as he could hear them fighting. The lady that checked me in was great and the two males were absolutely useless. I hope I will never go there ever even if it was free. It’s was the worse experience I’ve ever had in every place I’ve ever stayed in. It was an absolute nightmare.

It is a very old motel, it looks ok outside the building but inside is terrible. I went in, front desk is too slow, he asked too much questions, guest names and all. Also, the smell is bad. It smells someone pooped and did not flush the toilet. Good thing, the room doesn’t smell at all. It is very old, bathroom is rusty, table is super old. Bed is making a sound and springy type. It is not comfortable at all. When you shower, it is making loud sound. Not a great experience.
