Great service
Samuel
Booked a stay here with my partner ahead of our wedding at Parkwood Historic site. The location is close and quiet. Overall vibe of the place was good too. Additionally, staff were super helpful in accommodating my requests related to my wedding. Would recommend wedding couples to stay here in the future.
Jennifer
The room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the gym, restaurants and close to the 401. The only thing I noticed was the pool is extremely chlorinated which was difficult to stay in for a longer amount of time. Overall a great stay!
Dulce
The stay was beautiful, my son really enjoyed the pool and the continental breakfast. The kitchenette was also very useful for as. I would most definitely stay again and thank you to the staff who were also very helpful.

Great staff, perfect location. Breakfast could be better.
Nancy Diane
The experience was excellent from start to finish. Cleanliness of rooms, amazing breakfast and very friendly staff
David
The kitchen was a pleasant surprise. Fully equipped. We were only there for the night and used the fridge and stove. A longer stay and these amenities would definitely be very useful.
Jason
We have stayed in this hotel twice now while visiting Oshawa for a tournament. It is a clean hotel with nice amenities and professional, courteous staff.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was amazing. They had areas where the hockey parents could go to hang out in the evening. Ac/heat were great.

Room was very clean but we were surprised that we booked a suite yet there wasn’t a door on the bedroom for privacy. That’s not a suite - it’s a studio and should have been charged that way.
Secondly, neither TV would stream even though we tried multiple times. The remotes only worked intermittently.
Don’t have breakfast there if you have high blood pressure - the bacon was so salty it was almost inedible.
Lastly, the noise was insane. There were kids running up and down the hallway until 11:30PM when my husband told them to pipe down, there was thumping all night above us, and the trains going by are quite loud. To their credit, the staff responded immediately when we went downstairs to complain about the kids.
The staff was excellent and the hotel itself is very nice, but the experience of our stay was so frustrating that we contemplated leaving in the middle of the night.

Excellent place to stay. Pool was clean and well cared for, lots of towels for the guests. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good, great place for children. Would return for sure.
Matthew
It was good value for the price
Julia
We had a great stay with our kids during March break. The pool and the breakfast buffet were the top faves. The rooms are so big and clean, perfect for any family getaway.
Frank
Pool and breakfast were great but the kids wanted to make their own waffles, they were pre made
Tracey
Parking was good. Breakfast options were poor. Rooms felt small and dated.
Darren
Very clean, modern, and fully equipped.
Patrick
It was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the air conditioning was a little noisy, the toilet paper roll hanger was broken and only ground floor room were available when I checked-in.
Caroline
TV in bedroom was not properly functioning. The remote would not change any of the channels. Once I pressed any of the up and down functions, nothing would happen. I had to use my phone to watch any amazon or netflix shows during my stay.

Marc
The overall hotel facility was clean at the Townplace suites. I would stay here again but the reason for 3 starts was a below average breakfast and quality
Tanya
Excellent stay in every respect. The suite was spacious, spotless and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was delicious with many healthy options and staff were amazing. Very much appreciated the quick check in and early accommodation the following day when changing rooms to join our hockey team for local tournament. Would absolutely book again when back in the area!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying for one night with our kids. The room was super clean and had all of the amenities any family could need.
The pool was so big, with lots of space for people to sit and watch their kids swim.
The breakfast buffet had everything you’d need to feed your family and get your morning cup of coffee in.
The staff was so helpful and kind, handing out loaner board games to my kids when they asked.

Everything was great with the exception of the noise from the doors closing in the middle of the night. When we tried to close our own door without making noise, we couldn’t… so maybe some small adjustments would fix it ! We’ll be back !! Thanks

This hotel is probably the best value that we have had in a hotel in a very long time! If you are in Oshawa, you should definitely check it out!

One night the computer for the Bistro was not working so we could not order food. Did not understand why they couldn’t manual take our order and payment and then enter into system when working again.
Selina
Location was perfect right off the highway. The staff were friendly.
Linda
Kitchen was okay but the bathroom is very cramped
Don
Breakfast was great, room was perfect, highly recommend this hotel. Why spend so much on a hotel downtown when you can stay at this lovely hotel and take the go train downtown, a no brainer!
Barbara
I stayed 2 nights 1 night there was so much noise coming from a neighbouring room it kept my kids up. There were also a ton of ants all over the counter and in the bed
Kim
The kitchen setup was excellent with many choices, friendly staff. Highly recommend this facility

Daniel
Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean. The pool is large and well maintained. Gym is also a decent size. Breakfast was included.

Extremely hospital & higher level of aminities. Only bad thing were the beds. Extremely soft because of age I think. Please fix that as mattresses should be at least a 6-7 firmness…. Not 2-3. (Way too old & soft). I asked for something firmer but front desk said there was nothing else??? I believe it’s next to impossible to not have a firmer bed in all those rooms???
Mehdi
Good place to stay

Pet fee increase
I have been to this hotel numerous times with my 12 pound dog.
We love being there.
This time however, I was charged $75 per fee rather than the $25 per fee I have paid in the past.
I can’t afford this.
I won’t stay there again

Room with double queen had lots of space. Impressed with the kitchenette which included dishes, cookware, colander you name it. Even had a small dishwasher!
Found everything clean and property inviting. The breakfast had a decent selection. Pretty standard assortment with the star a self-service waffle maker.
The thing to keep in mind is that the location is a small distance from other restaurants. Location is right off the highway, but if you're tired and don't want to bother going out, there is an onsite restaurant.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean, and the location was great! Close to everything but not right in the middle of the town.

Good hotel!
Really great. Nice hotel. Pet friendly. We like staying when it isn't ridiculously expensive like over Christmas lol. Clean. Pet friendly. Lots of entrances and exits. Really good free hot breakfast. But this time they were leaf blowing at 7:45 in the morning which was annoying.
Charissa
Amazing place to stay! Had so many amenities. Beds were super comfy. Can’t wait to stay again!

Spacious room small kitchenette great for 2
Veronique
Best hotel for the price in the area.
Brian
It was a nice hotel
Jorge
Great amenities, cleanless and staff. The only thing that kept us from giving the hotel a 5-star review was the breakfast buffet with limited options. A vegetable quiche (which most kids would not eat, instead of eggs) and dried saussage patties were the two main options. Great bed and swiming pool!
