First, the plaque outside says it is a 2-star hotel, not a 3-star as stated on most websites, and this is very understandable once you enter. On entering, the lobby had lots of bags of rubbish all over, it was very disorganized. The lobby staff throughout the visit weren't often there. The rooms are not like the photos. The room was dirty. There were scratch marks, drawings, and hairs all over the furniture. The floor was not clean. There is no clothes storage. The bathroom was mouldy. There were large bottles of cleaning supplies in the corner of the room. Extremely disappointed.

Very nice hotel for me as American traveler. Staff very helpful. Nice breakfast. Very quiet. Clean. Towels and water provided every day. Great little market right next door. Tons of restaurants nearby. Also close to Sinchon Station and Ehwa university exit on line 2. This is my second time here. Would be happy to come again.

For the price, it was a great stay. Clean and comfortable. The AC worked and the hot water. We even got a bath tub which was unexpected but a lovely surprise! Also the bottled water at our door in the morning was great too.

Pictures deceiving! Bathrooms are filled w/ mold!

There was black mold in the bathroom. It exacerbated my respiratory condition. When we reported it to the front desk, he tried to change our room however the new room was also filled with black mold. The front desk has been aware of this existing problem but refused to refund us as we checked out early and did not stay the remainder of our trip. We had to pay out of pocket for a different hotel. The pictures and high ratings are very deceiving. I absolutely did not expect the poor quality and condition based on the pictures advertising the property. Terrible experience would not recommend.

Hele hotellet var dækket i en heftig parfumelugt. Jeg ved ikke, om det skulle dække over muglugt, men det gjorde det svært at trække vejret.
Udover det var der stille, betjeningen var venlig, og der var mulighed for sen indtjekning. Det basale var ellers ok. Jeg fik kun den koreanske morgenmad med ris, grønkål, røde bønner, som var fin. Den vestlige bestod af toastbrød, toastost, skinke, indpakkede fabriksprodukter. Men kan selv varme mad i en mikroovn.

When I booked a room on Expedia, I was under the impression that there would be an electric kettle in the room. There was no kettle in the room. Apparently the hotel has changed its policies. The breakfast was decent but a little too basic for the price that you pay. On a more positive note, I liked the spaciousness of the room.

This was a great hotel for my first stay in Korea. I chose it because it was close to my son’s apartment. It was very clean and quiet even though it’s in a big city. The staff were helpful and kind and could understand and speak enough english we could get by. They serve a nice breakfast and cleaned the room every day. The ac was delicious after being out in the heat and was easy to control. It’s close to coffee shops and many cafes and restaurants as well as the subway and bus stations. There is a small grocery store right next to them where you can get pretty much any snacks, drinks, fresh fruit and veges you might want. I stayed 12 days and was very pleased to have found the hotel H.

Trust the reviews here, not Kakao

I saw pretty good reviews for the most part on here, google BUT NOT Kakao. Even though KakaoMaps has a lot of whiny reviewers who are annoying, it was a lot. So i got nervous. Most complained about condition and cleanliness.
My room was clearly cleaned. I get that it looks old and like some repairs were not totally finished or something, but room was clean(ed) and everything was fine. Actually, it was one of the more comfortable stays I have had, ever. Really. They gave plenty of pillows. Temperature was good. I got two bottles of water. Was quiet. Small but good bathroom. Great lobby. Good location.
My only real complaints: 1. It may benefit to cover up some holes and stuff where things were removed in the room 2. Add some lamps so we don't need the ceiling lights all the time. 3. I was confused why everything time i flipped one of the light switches it made a weird alarm noise at some point.
I had just had back surgery so I can say with certainty, at least in the winter, it is a good place to stay.

The hotel room was small but cosy n it was at a very good location, near to ewha shopping street n within walking distance to sinchon n hongdae. There's even a supermart beside the hotel n opens till late. The drawback, they are still giving guests old n dirty looking towels. Some even had stains. Overall a nice stay.

Conveniently located near a central metro line (#2) as well as a bus hub. In the neighborhood of a few of the major universities which means there are good small eateries, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance. The breakfast was pretty good, though I wished there were more options and the eggs, salad, and bananas didn't always look so appetizing. But the staff was always friendly and helpful, the cafe in the lobby was nice. There was a desktop computer in my room but I wasn't sure it was functional or how to log on, directions would've been nice. The bed was sooo comfortable, fluffy blankets and pillows and the mattress was fantastic; plus there were really nice lotions, shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and even toner in the room for you. Good wifi and lots of TV channels too. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there was no shower curtain and I always got water everywhere if I took a shower.

A Gem In Seoul

The H Hotel is a Western style hotel that offers modern, clean and comfortable accommodations along with a complimentary breakfast buffet at a reasonable price point for the area. Staff is very accommodating, allowing us early check in and coffee on the house. Excellent choice for the business traveler.

Will Never Stay Here Again

There was barely housekeeping service for the 4-night stay. The shower area drainage area was stuffed. Housekeeping didn't clean it up even after reporting to reception. End up my mom cleaned it herself. Bed sheet was not changed for the whole stay. Breakfast was very simple with just ham and cheese, no coffee provided. There are many better hotels than this one in Seoul. I do not recommend this for anyone.

Very comfortable bed and sheets. It's not a suspect love motel like a lot of the neighboring hotels/motels. Convienitly located about 10mins away from the subway station, on the main road so it's not hard to find. The staff is super nice and helpful. A lot of restaurants and shopping is also nearby, it's got everything in the neighbour hood. So overall it's got quality, comfort and affordability.

Apart from the location there was little we liked about our 5 night stay here. Our room wasn’t cleaned despite repeated requests, the breakfast was disappointing and so we only had it once, some staff were nice but others not very friendly and the room was hot and stuffy. There are much nicer hotels in Seoul so won’t be staying here again.

Room and bath room is spacious. Friendly front desk staffs. Great to have a PC installed in the room.
However, the bath tub without curtain, anti-slippery mat and handle is a concern when you're taking shower. Only 2 hangers in the closet may be not enough for 2 guests sharing the room. Appreciated if a simple instruction in English/other languages for air conditioner and TV remote control could be provided. Coffee/tea bags in room were not refilled when we had stayed there for 3 nights.

全体的には白い感じで綺麗な部屋、ロビーでした。朝食のバナナが甘くて美味しかったです。２日泊まりましたが、留守中にタオルをかえて置いてくれてました。水ボトルサービスあり。静かでノイズなし。スタッフはほぼよかったがチェックアウトの時の男のスタッフだけ、無愛想、一言も発しないので残念。

2泊利用させて頂きました。まず、至る所に髪の毛が落ちています。テーブルなど拭いてなく食べカスや何かを垂らした痕のベタベタが残っていました。グレーのガウンは、漂白剤で色抜けしており、シーツは洗濯こそしてありましたが、全体的に毛玉でザラザラしています。洗面台のコップは、使用感があり中に水がはいっていました。便座にマジックテープが貼られておりお尻に刺さります。
タオルは追加交換されていましたが、棚に適当に詰んだようで、雑巾も一緒に重なっていました。
せめて掃除をきちんとして欲しいです。部屋の広さや湯量などは良かったです。スタッフは親切でした

이곳은 두번다시 방문하고 싶지 않습니다.

전반적인 시설과 위치는 상당히 만족했지만, 불친절한 직원의 태도와 불쾌감을 주는 언행은 상당히 기대했던 여행을 불만족하게 만들기에 충분했습니다.

주차관련 문의할때도 모르겠다. 알아서 찾아서 주차한 다음에 와라. 라고 대답할게 아니라 주차시설이 없으니 근처에 유료주차장이라도 안내해주면 훨씬 좋을 것 같습니다. 그리고 애초에 예약자 이름이 동명이인이 있으면 예약번호를 확인하고 체크인해야하는게 기본일텐데 그것조차 제대로 못해서 체크인하는데만 20분이 넘게 걸리는건 기본적인 직원 교육조차도 안되어 있는것 같습니다.

친절하진 않더라도 최소한 불쾌감을 주진 말아야하지 않을까 싶습니다.이렇게 불쾌한 여행을 한것도 처음이네요.

근방에 신촌점이 있길래 다른데 가려다가 와 봤는데
그냥 맨 콘크리드 방에 침대갔다가 놔둔 수준이에요
혼자쓰는 게스트하우스같은 그런...

이정도 가격에 훌륭한 시설 너무 만족합니다. 저희방이 티비랑 와이파이가 안됐는데 전화하니깐 바로 피드백 해주시던데 제가 귀찮아서 그냥 있었어요 ㅎㅎㅎ
