Excellent property. The breakfast is amazing. The only concern is the room is very small, but everything else is great.

Staff were very helpful and went out of there way to assist, one staff member even chased us up the street to ensure we had the correct directions for the local supermarket, not great English but used a translating service whenever in doubt. Dated property but clean and well priced. Very convenient location across the road from train and bus station. Staff held our bags whilst we climbed Mt Fuji and checked back in following day. Slept well, great view of Fuji, charming place, not the most modern but made up for but lovely staff, recommended.

Just a night stay to rest the feet and no expectation, then it’s fine. Only 1 experience that the reception lady staff showed impatience if she needs to repeat herself.

Super bad experience - do not ever consider
At a red light district area with hookers & drunkards hanging around the hotel area. Room is very old & dodgy looking, with cabinets falling apart, toilet bowl damage, bedding in super old condition with a smell. The worst part is the reception (night shift guy) he is super rude & mean to Asians and he declined our request for extra pillows (the room comes with only one very flat old pillow) and smile politely to his Japanese guest. All of us had a hard time sleeping in the room.

Just opposite to Gotemba Station and shuttle bus for Gotemba premium outlet. Hotel looks dated with old furniture but we were there only for one night so it’s ok. Very small fridge and was not cold enough.

Perfect location to travel to Gotemba Premium Outlet with free shuttle bus at JR Gotemba station located in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast including both Japanese and Western food. Room with nice mountain view, good wi-fi Internet. Will stay here again ? Sure!

So far, so good
Definitely not the best hotel to stay in Gotemba when it comes to amenities but since they are situated where everything is accessible, could be a better option than the other hotels in the area. Gotemba Station is just accross the street. Bus to Shinjuku is also just behind Gotemba Station. Free shuttle bus to Gotemba Premium Outlets is also just across the hotel. Plus there are many restaurants around the hotel. I wish they would consider renovating the hotel to attract more guests in the future because their location is very nice.

Location is just opposite JR and near restuarants. So it is really convenient. Only thing to note is that there is no air con from start of winter. It was kinda hot in the room initially and the window only opens a little. Nonetheless we felt the stay was overall good.

The hotel is right next to the Fuji exit of the Gotemba station. Free shuttle buses to Gotemba premier outlets depart from right outside the other exit. We took a bus to Kawaguchiko from a bus station just outside the hotel. A tourist info centre is next door. They recommended visiting the rooftop of a parking lot which was 2-3 minutes by foot, to the right of the hotel as you exit. From here, we got great views of Mount Fuji ! The hotel room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Would love to stay here again !

The location of the hotel is the main reason of the hotel choice. It is just opposite the bus terminal or train station. The hotel can see the sign of aging and need a renovation soon. It is a good stopover hotel if you want to go to Gotemba Premium outlet or heading to Fujikyo, Kawaguchi or Hakone.

The location is great! The bus terminal is on the other side of the station. The Hakone-Odakyu express bus from Shinjuku picks and drops off here and so does the free shuttle from the premium outlet. A good car rental is here too. The room we had was huge and had a picture window from which Mt Fuji beamed at us, at sunrise. The main restaurant street is just next to the hotel - take your pick from the touristy ones, some with hostesses, or the cosy ones, where the locals chat you up.

The hotel location is very convenient as it next to the train station. Good layover after a long day in Hakone. Managed to get a good rest before continue with the next day itinerary - The Gotemba outlet. The rooms mentioned view of Mount Fuji, but definitely no view of Mount Fuji at all. i booked a room which i thought could sleep 4 ( says sleeps 4 guest per expedia website) for 15000 yen just to have a bed to sleep on after a tiring trip at fuji but when we arrived the reception refused to put us all in one room (room is deluxe double - could easily sleep 4 with its size). It was late and too tired to argue so we ended up paying for additional room :(
