Amazing location so close to the Trevi fountain! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, giving us advice on what to do and when to go. The rooms were clean and spacious! Would 100% recommend to friends and family and would come again :)

At Casa I Cappuccini we had a nice room with three beds for a reasonable price. Rooms in this converted monastery have modern plumbing and wiring. There was a hot water kettle and instant coffee and tea in the room. The location is very good, near the Trevi Fountain and a Metro station, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is adjacent to a small church, and a historic crypt and museum.

Starting off, the hotel was very clean. The host who checked us in was very accommodating as well. I am astounded that I can access almost any point of Rome from our hotel. There was a bus stop right in front of the property and a few steps from it. Access to the Metro subway was also right there. Anything else, most of our itinerary was just a walking distance. My only complaints were the beds. It was creaking every time you turn. The electricity cut-off was a little bit of a hassle as well. We couldn't leave the room if we need our devices charged or to keep some drinks cold in the fridge. Other than that, I would recommend this property to others for the access convenience to everywhere.

The property is in perfect location, everything is close by walking distance. Staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful.
What I didn’t like was offering taxi service for €80 if there is a flat rate €55 from the airport to the hotel.
Additionally, the floor could be cleaner (we had our socks very dirty from it), but they do offer flip flops, but our toddler couldn’t use them anyway. Overall, our stay was pleasant

This is not the hotel if you are looking for room service or luxury.
Hotel room does tea kettle, refrigerator and safe.
The staff is very friendly and are happy to arramge a car service to airport.

The afternoon concierge was wonderful!! He gave us a map around town, told us where a few things were located along with how far away in walking distance. The day we were checking out was a different concierge in the morning with a different personality he shouldn't have come to work that day. It was if we were bothering him, as soon as we walked up told us to leave hotel key on counter and that was it. We mentioned to him we were told we could store our luggage after check out so he then pointed over to a closet for us to place our luggage. He definitely should not be working in a hospitality industry because he doesn't have any. Very rude!!!
We stayed at this location because it states they have A/C, the thermostat says 19 degrees Celsius which it didn't feel that way. It felt more along the lines of 23 or 24 degrees Celsius. Also, in our shower there was mildew towards the top of the walls. There were only 2 plug outlets in entire room, 1 in main room area and 1 in the bathroom makes it slightly challenging with 4 people needing to charge items.

Location was within good walking distance. Subway/train access across the street .

The property condition, cleanness, the staff was great. What we liked was the location.
It is very close ro the subway, but far enough from crowds, so, there is no noice during the night from parties etc.
Would be great if there were some minimal cutlery (spoon, fork, etc.) and a couple of plates, as you often want to buy some sweets (maybe some pastries?) and have difficulties sharing them with a loved one.

The enhance of the hotel is on the first floor but the front desk of the hotel is on the second floor. It took us a long time to figure out where the hotel enhance is. The door is locked and the guest needs to click a button (not easy to find) on the wall to call front desk to unlock the door. It is not user friendly for a guest has not been checked in. Once you get the room badge, it is not a big deal.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Islam helped us with directions, recommending restaurants, and arranging our taxi back to the airport. Location is within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Interesting museum and crypt next door. Metro station is just feet from the front door. Room was clean and comfortable. There is no complimentary breakfast offered, but there's a bistro just down the street.

Overall, the property was not as advertised. The shower encasement in our room was riddled with BLACK MOLD!! It stated there was laundry on site - which there was not. It stated there was air conditioning - which we did not have and the hotel had to put oscillating fans in our room as the temperatures were over 90 F degrees. It stated there was a restaurant- which the front desk mentioned they closed during Covid - which was 4 years ago!! And there wasn’t breakfast as there wasn’t a restaurant open on-site. Oh and when we arrived the elevator was not working so we had to bring 5 large suitcases and carry-ons up the flights of stairs. The only saving grace to this property was the front desk staff. They were incredibly helpful.

Not inexpensive for what you get, In comparison to alternatives for the dates we went, the prices were fair. (But not an “great deal” And the location was really really walkable to most of Rome highlights, and if not walkable, then public transit.

Nice little hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. They scheduled airport and cruise terminal transfers for us. They gave us advice on what sights we could see within walking distance. My personal experience of the area is, the street signs are difficult to find. Not the same as where i live. It makes it very confusing to follow the maps. The area was beautiful though.

Clean place to stay and I was happy we stayed there for our longer stretch in Rome. Other than the city taxes which had to be paid in cash we loved it there. Everything was a close walk no matter where you wanted to go. Parking garage close by but hard to get back to with all of your luggage as it is uphill.

I checked in to your hotel on July 14th at 4:00 am in the morning and my stay wasn’t comfortable at all due to two reasons
1. The bathroom had mold and I am allergic to it
2. We woke up on vacuum noise and housekeepers moving furniture at 8:00 am!!

This hotel looks unassuming but wow, what a gem it turned out to be! It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the big hotels, but who is going to live in a hotel while in Rome? It was clean. It had awesome air conditioning (and trust me, you’re going to need it after a day of walking in the hot sun), Our room wasn’t very big but it fit 2 adults and two tweens comfortably. Beds were standard and we had plenty of towels and hot water. There was an elevator but we usually took the stairs. The staff was incredible! They were all so helpful and nice. They all spoke English although one gentleman spoke less and it was a a little hard to ask questions but all were very helpful. The location was perfect, steps from metro and buses. Lots of taxis but most of all, it was within a few minutes walking distance from Trevi and Spanish Steps.
Few tips; your room key turns on your light. You place it in a slot in the room and then switches work.
Hairdryer is a mini vacuum attached to the wall. I got a kick out of that one. Shampoo is a dispenser on the wall. If these are important to you, bring your own. Everyone told us to buy the on/off bus tickets which cost 90 euros for 2 days but using the metro would have been cheaper but you would not see the sights from a vehicle.
Save water bottles because there are water filling stations throughout the center. Check for any festivals or local holidays. We planned on going to the Vatican and found out it was closed because of a local festival.

This location was fantastic. Very much close if not in the City Center of Rome, was walking distance to the Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Colosseum. It was also very convenient with proximity to other attractions in Rome. Was also close to Roma Termini via one stop via Barberini Metro Station.

Overall, the staff were very hospitable, and really helped us with guidance and aid in moving around. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located near many walkable restaurants and shopping and public transportation. Room was very simple, clean, and private bathroom/shower was smaller than we are used to, but fine for a few days nonetheless. We did not feel like this was a typical 'hotel' more of a quaint, quiet room for rent.

Very impressed with the quality of the accommodation - the room was clean, spacious and the bed was far more comfortable than some hotels with more grandiose aspirations. The bed was made and bathroom was cleaned every day without fuss. The shower was powerful and water was always hot. There was also lots of space for bags and clothes storage.

The location is also 5-star. All the major historical sites are within easy reach and it is only a short walk to the beautiful Villa Borghese. There are plentiful excellent bars and restaurants nearby also.

Can't wait to visit and stay again!

The only thing this hotel got going for it is it's location. The rooms are very basic. The shower is ridiculously tiny approximately 2ft x 2ft. This is the only hotel that I've ever stayed in that don't provide any small amenities at all (shampoo, soap bars, etc.) For the price we paid I was expecting way more. I don't how this is a four star hotel, but I sure won't be staying here again in the future.

This a very simple property, very clean and very sweet staff. My mother and I stayed here and really appreciated the elevator as she is elderly and struggles with stairs. The location was great. Fairly close to the Trevi and Spanish steps with nice cafes and shops in walking distance. The metro stop is literally in front of the hotel and the taxi stop is one block away. Great, safe area. Only complaint was there is no iron available and the blow dryer would take an eternity to dry your hair. Lol There is also only soap available in the bathroom. However, the bathroom is one of the largest Ive seen in Italy. No breakfast or room service options but if your ok with simple accommodations this is great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I usually do not leave negative comments, but at this point I have no choice. when I search for a hotel on hotel.com one of the filters was parking, because we had a rental. And if you ever been to Rome parking is difficult. When we arrive at the hotel, the guy on the front desk said they didn't have parking, and we complained, since it says parking in the hotel description, which he asked me to prove, by the way, and I showed him. He said it was wrong, and that hotels.com messed it up and it wasn't his problem. We ask him where we can park the car, considered he didn't offer any help and it was almost 11pm. He said to find street parking, which in that area, which is a good area to stay at, close to everything. Its impossible to find parking. Then he said there was a public parking a few blocks away, and would just say the name of the street, but we do not know the area, and I had to ask him if he can show us on a map, since streets there do not run north/south, eats/west. We ask if he knew the hours of the parking he was suggesting, and said\" I don't know, I don't work there\". And although we understand that, but hotels are always so helpful in giving their guest suggestions and help, but this guy was having none of it. He basically blamed us about the parking, then blame hotels.com. And was so rude and unhelpful. When I told him I would leave a review, his attitude completely change and show us on the map where to park and said none of it was his fault.

This was our first time in Rome and we didn't know what to expect. There were a ton of hotels to choose from but we wanted to stay within a certain perimeter to be close to the attractions. The hotel is slightly difficult to find as it is above a restaurant and you have to walk past the restaurant to get to the elevator. The location is great. The hotel couldn't have been in a better spot to see all of the major sites in Rome. We were within walking distance to mostly everything. The room was clean but very simple and plain. Apparently, the hotel is a converted monastery but it still has many of the same features of what a monastery would have. It was extremely quiet, not aesthetically pleasing and lacked some of the simple hotel amenities one might need, i.e. shampoo, soap, etc. Other than that, we had a good stay. The hotel staff were nice and accommodating.
