The photos of this hotel are a bit off-putting - an entrance directly beneath an overhead railway. However, this is deceptive - the door leads to a fairly long hall way and the hotel itself is well set back from the railway. I wasn't troubled by any noise from trains at all - although my room was on the opposite side of the hotel to the railway.
Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location - convenient for transport obviously, so even although it is a little bit out of town, easy enough to get on to the train and metro network. And the neighbourhood is fantastic - lots of lovely little authentic local restaurants, although not many have English language menus.
As for the total itself - a typical clean compact and efficiently run Japanese hotel. The price of the room includes a voucher for a fairly simple breakfast in the adjacent cafe.
Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location - convenient for transport obviously, so even although it is a little bit out of town, easy enough to get on to the train and metro network. And the neighbourhood is fantastic - lots of lovely little authentic local restaurants, although not many have English language menus.

Location is fab if you have an early flight from Haneda airport or you’re coming in on the Shinkansen late and you don’t want to drag yourself across town (both applied to us), right next to the station. Lovely shrine across the road as a bonus.

The hotel is located under the train tracks but you will not hear a sound in your room. I like this hotel because it is very convenient, it is just a min walk out of the train station. The area is also quiet, convenience stores are just around the corner. I will def stay there again.

Wonderfully convenient budget hotel!
Great budget hotel that's conveniently located right at a station for the Keikyu Line and only a stone's throw away from Shinagawa Station which makes it easy to get anywhere you need to both in Tokyo and beyond. Also has a small local shopping street next door with a convenience store, cafes, etc. Free breakfast was okay but for most of my trip I had to leave early which made the two nearby convenience stores very helpful. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was small but par for the course in Tokyo. During my stay the hotel was also amazingly quiet. Normally I wear earplugs as insurance for a good night's sleep at cheaper hotels but not this one - I slept like a baby all three nights I was there. The only real complaint I had was the faint whiff of lingering cigarette smoke when I first entered my room despite it supposedly being a non-smoking room. Thankfully the room had an air freshener bottle that helped a great deal. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to Tokyo.

普通電車しか止まらない駅だけど、駅から濡れずにホテルに入れるし、頑張れば歩いて品川駅にも行ける距離で、私にとってはとても良かったです。新馬場の町自体が静かで落ち着きがあり、好きになりました。夜中に外で酔っ払いさんが騒ぐ声などしない(^^)
お部屋は良く考えられていると思います。机に座ったら椅子も引けないほど狭い部屋のホテルはよくありますが、ここは大きなベッドがあってもゆったりスペースが取られてるし、お風呂も広めです。電気スタンドが初めから置いてあるのが嬉しかったです。そうそう机も広め、本を2つ広げても余裕があるのでしっかり勉強できました。東京のお手頃系ホテルでこのゆったりスペースはなかなか無いのでは？！1階でアメニティを好きなだけ戴いてもいいのが便利です。
接客は、美人のフロントのお姉さんの笑顔と丁寧な思いやりのある話し方が素敵でした。

お部屋は良く考えられていると思います。机に座ったら椅子も引けないほど狭い部屋のホテルはよくありますが、ここは大きなベッドがあってもゆったりスペースが取られてるし、お風呂も広めです。電気スタンドが初めから置いてあるのが嬉しかったです。そうそう机も広め、本を2つ広げても余裕があるのでしっかり勉強できました。東京のお手頃系ホテルでこのゆったりスペースはなかなか無いのでは？！1階でアメニティを好きなだけ戴いてもいいのが便利です。
接客は、美人のフロントのお姉さんの笑顔と丁寧な思いやりのある話し方が素敵でした。
