Typical Toyoko which means great climate control, under bed storage area but weak curtains. Also wish the bed wasn't against the window since that's the coldest area of the room. Everything else was fine. Great location.

A convenient location to all public transportation in and around the Tokyo area with reasonable pricing, and a healthy and freshly-made breakfast make this accommodation the go-to place when staying in the Tokyo area and frequently traveling. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the same. Can not be beat for accessibility from Haneda airport when taking the Keikyu line train here after a long flight (approximately 20 minutes start to finish)!

Just a quick overnighter a close to Shinkansen station, would stay again for convenience. Bed was a little harder than used to however that is how Japan beds are. Staff were lovely, included breakfast was great to get us on our way.

This is quite bad experience for me, especially since I was happy with my stay at Toyoko Inn, Osaka Namba. The difference is the staff members cannot communicate in English adequately, though they still tried their best to assist whatever you need. The other thing is that they don't have working wifi in the room, unlike what we had in the Osaka Namba property.

They still provide free breakfast, albeit with less choices and in smaller dining area compared to the ones provided in Toyoko Inn, Osaka Namba.

Location wise, the hotel is quite close to Shinagawa Station (5 min walk) which is quite handy if you need to travel to Haneda Airport or using Shinkansen to Kyoto / Osaka. We just stayed here on our last days in Tokyo after a week in Kyoto and Osaka. It is in perfect location since we came directly from Kyoto's Shinkansen trip and will go to Haneda soon in next few days. Shinagawa has good dining options though not as much shopping destination compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya.

The room was very spacious, the facilities were very clean, the staff were very helpful and kind. I personally liked the lobby area, although it was more a dining area equipped with kitchen amenities and vending machines. My travel companions expected sofas, but I quite liked and preferred this convenient set up.

Very good! Excellent service and incredibly convenient (less than 5 min walk to Shinagawa Station); the downside to that is you hear the trains pass every few minutes. It didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper ear plugs are a must. Free breakfast was wonderful. Washroom a bit tight but the room had a great layout with space to do hair and makeup (assume that is why the washroom was small). Washroom also got very stuffy very quickly from showering because it was so small. Bed and pillows hard, so it was good for our backs but a bit uncomfortable to lounge on. Only one elevator, thought that would be annoying but there didn't seem to be too many people staying when we were there so we didn't often have to wait.

今回、一泊させて頂きました。駅からも近く便利で以前から何回か宿泊させて頂いています。無料の朝食もますます充実されている感じがしました。ただ今回はテレビのコントローラーの電池が切れかかっていたのか，反応が悪く何かとストレスでした。翌朝には全く作動しなくなったので受付に待って行き電池を受け取り交換した所直りましたが。。それ以外は問題なくスムースな滞在でした。ありがとうございました。

My stay was good for the price. Only complaint is that the room smelled so much of cigarette smoke. Other than that it was clean, the bed was hard but I like that, and the location was easy to get to from the station and along the airport line, perfect for my quick layover in Tokyo.

The one big negative for me was the bed was too hard, Was like sleeping on the floor. My back would get very sore from the hard bed... It was not comfortable at all. I could not sleep. I slept sitting on the bed with my head against the wall. That was better than trying to sleep lying on the bed.
The hotel morning breakfast was wonderful... a mix of Japanese and American.
The staff at the front desk was very helpful.

Small room, but typical of most japan hotel. It's very close to the shinagawa station which is great. Free morning breakfast was fantastic, fresh croissants! soft scrambled eggs, two kinds of soups, salad, spaghetti and more. The only issue we had was the a/c was not really working properly, so it was quite warm in the room.

Intenet this time!

I stayed the week prior for 3 days and was put in a room with non-working internet. In all my 11 years of staying this change, it was the first time. The response at the front desk was \"sorry.\" I eas not offered a different room or having it fixed. The bathroom tray and 2 plastic cups usually standard, were missing. But this last one-day trip at this same hotel, the internet worked and the bathroom tray and 2 cups were there. The staff were helpful with my luggage hold needs. I'm glad they redeemed themselves. My choice is to stay near the train station, so expect to hear the trains! In otger words, it's not totally quiet. But its location is worth the train noise \"inconvenience.\" Love their breakfast buffet!

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Shinagawa Station, perfect for shinkansen.
The rooms are on the small side and the bed and pillows were a bit hard but we were jetlagged and did not care.
Many dining options nearby, as well as a small supermarket.
The gowns supplied by the hotel are all the same size and very big.
The breakfast area is fairly small but the selection of items is adequate. Lots of vending machines in the lobby.

I like this location because it's pretty close to Shinagawa station. It's about 4 minutes so it's convenient especially for an early morning shinkansen trip. The breakfast was good but you must get there early to have a selection. Room was small but functional.

The only downside is the noise from Shinagawa station and everything else that is going on outside. Overall, a good place for a relatively inexpensive stay right next to Shinagawa Station.

This was an excellent choice for our longer stay in Tokyo.

We stayed for just under 3 weeks, and this location was perfect for us.

The close proximity to the Yamanote line made tourism a breeze.

The rooms are clean, and are maintained to a very high standard.

However, of all the positive things to note, the exemplary point is definitely the staff team.

As two non Japanese speaking visitors, the staff made every effort to accommodate us.

Communication was done primarily through a translation app.

Staff took no issues with this whatsoever, and answered all of our questions/requests without issue.

In the future, if we return to Tokyo and are in the same area, we would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Convenient 5 minute walk from the station and located beside a supermarket as well as several restaurants. Room is pretty cramped but reasonable for the location I guess. The bed is big and the room itself is clean. I heard train noise in the hallway but it was quiet in my room. Great buffet breakfast with a rotating menu, but since the lobby is small and there's only 1 elevator, it can get crowded during peak hours. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again.

3 minutes walk from Shinagawa Station

Easy access from the Shinagawa train station. Pretty much can take the line from Haneda to here in less than 15 minutes on the rapid express.

It’s a nice little hotel with the standard amenities. They had free breakfast but we did not use it. Our only issue was the bed was hard as a rock. Wish it was softer!

For the price per night this definitely was worth it for location.

Very tiny room and tiny bathroom. Double bed was right up to the picture window. Seems like a businessman's hotel. The free breakfast was amazing in variety and deliciousness. At least six different home-cooked dishes, plus two types of soup, and some pastries and bread. The dishes were prepared by these two elder Japanese women in a small kitchen, and gave they gave a greeting to all before opening the area for breakfast. Lot of class.

Very convenient to station. Room was clean and tidy.
Bed was slightly hard - but I slept like a log anyway.
Breakfast was very basic and quite cramped.
Vending machines for drinks available and very reasonable.
Staff at reception good, happy to look after luggage for me.

Overall, excellent value for money in a city as expensive as Tokyo. I'd have no hesitation to recomment or to stay again.

客室は清潔。エレベーターが１基しかなく、なかなか来ないのは難点。朝食会場が狭く、ケースに入れて部屋食。スタッフが機械でのチェックインがうまく行かない老人を見て「あのおじいちゃん機械がうまく使えないようなのでお願いします」と私の聞こえるところで他のスタッフに話していました。そのあたりが一流ホテルとの違いでしょうか。
