Rooms comfortable, but very dated, and generally quite shabby. Hotel is split across numerous different annexed levels. Had to skip the breakfast service due to huge queue/ inadequate provision for number of guests. This hotel needs renovation.

The buffet breakfast was very good, but usually a long line to get in. Aside from that, the hotel restaurants were overpriced and/or indifferent quality. There were very few other cheap or good restaurants within an easy walk/
Aside from that the stay was good. even had room to open our luggage in our room and sprawl out on the writing desk--s rarity in Tokyo.

The hotel staff was wonderful, and there is a lot of shops and restaurants on the property. The hotel rooms themselves are very dated and you can’t control the room temperature. It was very warm in our room and the thermostat would not go down. When we asked if there was a problem we were told that the heat was on and the AC could not be adjusted, because the heat was on for the whole hotel. Our room was hot and their only solution was to open the drapes. Other wise it as fine, there is easy access to transportation and plenty of options within walking distance for food

I have been staying in Shinagawa Prince Hotel for like 15 years for business trip. The short walk to Shinagawa station is a must for work as unlike in other countries we travel by car here train ride is the way to move around.
The hotel although shows some age the overall CP value is satisfactory.

The hotel location was excellent, with easy access to the train station. The breakfast at this hotel was excellent too. However, the Annex building was lacking proper maintenance. E.g. the air conditioning did not work; the bathroom sink did not drain properly; the carpet was grungy and dirty.

Hotel is centrally located in Shinagawa, with a close connection to the train station. I stayed in the main tower in a non smoking room. Size of the room was fine, consistent with Japanese standards. However, air conditioning was lacklustre as the room felt hot during my stay.

While the room size was just sufficient for our luggage, we found the laundry facilities lacking; the dryers were ineffective, forcing us to air-dry damp clothes in our room. However, despite these minor inconveniences, the overall service was exceptional.
The hotel location is near the train station thus making our trips to and from Shibuya very easy. There will be a next time for us to book in this hotel.

Main tower where we stayed is older but immaculate. Rooms could use some modernizing. Bed was not super comfortable but useable. Was in a great location, across street from metro, and had a thousand amenities from restaurants, 7-11, and a bowling alley on site. Self service coin laundry was enormous and immaculate. Never tried buffet for breakfast as line was 30 mins+ every day. Rate was really good. Would stay again - no hesitation.

The location was perfect; however, the property needs updating. The room was a typical Japanese size (a small room) and still looks like it's from the 1970s. Available amenities were poor compared to other hotels. Food at Hapuna was extremely poor quality. I don't recommend spending money there.

Being right across the street from Shinagawa Station is the best part about this hotel’s location. Hotel staff were professional but were not the kind to give you the warm fuzzies. Hotel and rooms themselves were somewhat outdated, but clean. Would stay here again in a pinch, but not necessarily first choice.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We paid ¥60,000 per night and the moment we walked into the room, we considered leaving and booking somewhere else. Tiny room, wrong configuration, and the hotel was so overcrowded we couldn’t even get breakfast.

To top it off, we saw the same room available that night for nearly half the price. Extremely poor value! would not stay again!

The hotel was fine, but my Expedia experience was not. For example, my first night was reserved at 55,442 JPY but at check in, the hotel charged me 69,313. I dint necessarily fault the hotel. I fault Expedia for offering me a price that was reduced of all fees, even though I asked to give me the price with taxes. I think Expedia was not honest. I travel a lot and I do not plan to reserve thru Expedia any more. There are plenty of other sites I can go thru.

Hotel is in a great location. It is just across the street from the shinagawa station. From there you can get most places. Only negative is breakfast buffet. It is fairly pricey . The selection of western types of food is not up to par for the price. I would have expected an omelette station for the price. Food was generally not hot but maybe that is an asian thing. Overall the hotel is very good. There is a 7-11 just outside the hotel if you prefer a quick breakfast. Closest macdonalds is on the other side of the train station but not too far if you are looking for inexpensive breakfast. I would stay again because of access to the train station

I was skeptical about the hotel after reading some reviews, so i upgraded the rooms to hopefully avoid the same problems. Awful rooms. Though there are restaurants and shopping available - the rooms are small and old. The brown couch in our room had white splotches all over it (disgusting). Each bed (two twins) had one very small pillow on it. The rooms were expensive and the worst of the three hotels we stayed at while in Japan. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL.

A little confusing where to check in the first day as each tower has its own recetion desk. Good location and lots of places to eat in the complex. Feels like a resort set up. Train station across the road. We were in the main tower, room was older but very clean but no ventilation fan so heated up significantly when anyone showered and A/C does not work well, had the ac set to high and temperature set to the lowest possible over night and the room was still at 24 degrees celcius in the morning.

Proximity to Shinagawa Station is the best thing about this hotel. Lobby is beautiful, but bathroom in room is surprisingly pretty dated. Rooms are clean with fresh towels provided everyday.
