Lockers aren't that big but you can leave your luggage at the front desk. The sauna is really hot, it took around 5-10 minutes to get used to it. Lots of places to eat around the hotel and you are not too far from the train station. 10/10 would stay here again

Just spent quick night sleep before taking a first bullet train next morning.

Overall location and price were excellent. However, the locker was pretty small. I had normal size backpack it almost wont fit the locker. Carry on and checkin size suitcase were not fit and they had to place in front of the locker. FYI.

Wish female also had a sauna! That's my wish :)

I was very clean i was happy about that..but the other people who stay in the capsule with you are loud...No respect for other people sleeping there...It was a nice experience but i wouldn't do it again...I like a hotel better with my own room and bathroom...I dont like how we have to check out at 10 and return at 2....This is better for young people.

It's a capsule hotel. It's basic, it's cheap. There are electrical outlets for you to plug in your devices, no television in capsules, no television in lounge (lounge is a place to eat and to maybe do some work--seats maybe 10 people, hardback wood chairs). You can't complain about anything because of the price. It's conveniently located and it's clean.

It’s feels humid all the time! No private showers!
There’s one elevator that takes forever. You have to leave everyday at 10am no matter what and you can’t comeback till 2pm. Like what???? I’ve been staying in hostels all over Japan but this one was by far the most annoying one! The last days took my losses and booked another hostel because I couldn’t stand it! Don’t recommend at all!

Good location. Within mins to Gotanda station. Have to leave luggage at front desk. But you do get a personal locker. You have to checkout daily from 10am-2pm. So you leave your luggage at front desk and put some items in locker. The rest you have to take with you. Shower and bathroom is shared. Just some things to know if you stay here.

I had an excellent experience at this capsule hotel. I felt safe leaving my things in the lobby. The staff were helpful and explained the rules of the facilities during initial check in. Knowing that this was a capsule hotel, I understood that there were going to be limitations on where I could store my luggage. I always arrived to a clean capsule and fresh towels/sleepwear. I definitely recommend for a cheaper option to a standard hotel if you don't mind not having your luggage easily accessible.

캡슐은 왜 캡슐인지 알겠다

역과의 거리가 매우 가깝고 돈키호테도 바로 옆에 있어 접근성은 좋음 다만 캡슐호텔 특성상 누가 옆 캡슐에 위치할지 모르니 이건 운에 맡기는 수밖에....
주변 사람의 소음이 매우 심해서 잠을 설쳤기 때문에 다음날 여행에 지장이 있었음

A capsule hotel is not going to be for everyone, but this is in a good location, plenty of places to eat 24 hours a day, station less than 5 mins walk. Sleeping area was quiet, capsule with blind shut gave nice sense of privacy. Nice showers and good sauna

Capsule Hotel Stay.

It was our first time staying at a capsule hotel. We decided to try for the experience and the low price. We didn’t mind the service nor the capsule itself. However, staying in the specific location may not have been the best choice as it’s very close to a lot of night clubs. We had a hard time sleeping due to both the noise inside the capsule area and especially outside. It was very noisy throughout the whole night as you could hear the talking, screaming, and laughing taking place outside. Inside the capsule, the amount of room was to be expected but it was a little uncomfortable due to the heat. I’m not sure but throughout the night it would be cold then hot. The washrooms were shared and were okay but some of the sinks and toilets dirty. I can not fault the staff for this as it was late night and guests could have made the mess. The saving grace was the WiFi was fast and it allowed me to put my headphones on and watch videos to somewhat block out the noise. Overall, if you need a place to stay for a low price and can deal with the noise, staying here would suffice. However, I don’t think I would return to stay again due to the experience I had. I would only return if I needed a last minute cheap place to stay but I would opt for a better area.

You have what you pay for. Well located, close to Gotanda station, it is quite minimalistic. I am not fond of the raw concrete style and the cabin was a bit too hot. It is cheap and you cannot expect more from this price

Staff was friendly and helpful. You get fresh towels, pajamas, and toothbrush everyday. You have to vacate from 10am to 1:30 pm for them to clean everything from top to bottom. You get fresh pillow, sheets, etc. for your cozy little pod. Take a sleeping pill if you’re clostrophobic. You’ll get used to it in a couple days. Definitely not fancy but clean and functional. The area is girl clubs and pimps and hoes. But it is completely safe! Because it’s legal in Japan it doesn’t bring with it all the crime, lowlifes, and junkies. I will definitely stay here again next time in Tokyo and will recommend it to all my friends. Fantastic value. Most of the guests are Chinese businessmen. Everyone is real quiet and respectful and for the most part doesn’t make eye contact. The 7th floor lounge is pretty much just a quiet place to geek out on your phone or laptop and have something to eat from a take out place or 7-11. Cool little outside deck where it says no smoking but I did anyway and no one said anything.

Good price for a clean and new capsule hotel in the one of the busiest area in Tokyo. However, the shower room does not have enough space to get dressed and undressed if there are many people to use, and it smells weird in the room area because of lack of good ventilation system.

OKAY for short-term stay for backpackers

Overall, it was a nice stay for 2 nights at do-c gotanda considering the price in Tokyo. 3 min walk from Gotanda JR Station, having a wide shower & sauna facilities plus complimentary amenities.

However, sound-proof appliances should be installed for the guests to be able to enjoy their nights. Plus, I was struggling with finding out the accommodation when check-in, as it doesn't have a big banner showing the entrance. Inside the capsule room, I felt a bit stuffy, when closing the curtain, due to lack of ventilator & aircon in each capsule room.

トイレのシャワーもきれいです！
洗面室のトイレは狭くてドアの開閉がちょっと大変…
そしてロッカーにキャリーケースが入らないのが不便。
通気口からの外の音もかなり聞こえ、夜は大賑わいなので寝付くまで気になりました。
でも、この価格なら妥当と思うしかない。
駅近だし便利。

駅からも近く、古い建物をリノベーションしてうまく使っている。客室も普通に清潔。タオル、パジャマ、スリッパは毎日交換。周辺にコンビニや飲食店も多く、寝泊まりするだけなら十分。周辺は夜の繁華街だが、私には気にならなかった。
価格を考えれば、便利で安全で使いやすいカプセルホテルだと思います。

会社の飲み会の後に帰れなくなるため予約。
カプセル上をあてがわれたが、受付した際にフラフラでうずくまるくらいだったが、上段を当てられていた。
実際下段の空きがあったので、配慮して欲しかった。
部屋はマニュアル通りに埋めているだけかもしれないが、転落事故になった場合は安全配慮義務の面でどの様な対応になるのか疑問ではある。

安いので他は特に値段相応、清潔感もあり良いと思う。

五反田駅より徒歩５分、すぐ横にドン・キホーテがあり、周辺に飲食店、コンビニも多く便利です。この立地、カプセルホテルとしては、シャワー、トイレ、洗面、カプセル内も清潔でコスパ良いと思います。
ただ周囲が繁華街なので夜はキャッチ達の間を縫いながらホテル向かうことになります。
移動が小さなエレベーター１つのみで階段は使えずロス時間があります。ロッカー室が一寸狭いです。
私が泊まった時は割と空いていて気になるのはその位でした。混んでいると違うかも知れません。

The location felt like a nightlife district, so it was difficult to get into the building.

Viajamos cuatro personas y todos coincidimos en que las camas eran increíblemente cómodas. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio y la atención fue excepcional en todo momento. Por el precio, esperábamos algo más básico, pero fue todo lo contrario. Realmente valió la pena y, sin duda, me volvería a hospedar ahí.

外国人のマナーが悪かった。
もう0時過ぎ出るのに、会話や物音が聞こえ寝付けなかった。また、下着一枚で室内を歩いていた。
また、カミソリが追加料金かかるのがおかしい。
トイレは綺麗だったが、それ以外の汚れが目立つ。
特にB1Fは汚かった。あと、B1Fのロッカーが使えないのが不満だった。

数泊、荷物がすごく少ない場合にオススメ。

１週間ほど連泊するのはキツかったです。

・清掃時間中は完全に建物から出ないといけない。
ラウンジぐらいは使えるかと思っていたのですが使えず、疲れがとれずちょっと体調が狂いました。さすがに１週間に一日ぐらいは寝て過ごしたいものです。近所のカフェで４時間居座って疲れを癒しました。
「清掃なしでカプセル滞在ＯＫ」という選択肢が欲しいです。

・ロッカーがすごく狭い。
飛行機の機内持ち込みサイズキャリーケースぐらい入れられるようにしてほしい。

・その割に、カプセルフロア内の廊下には荷物を置いてはいけないというルールがある。つまり荷物はロッカーに入れるか１階のフロント前に置いてくださいということなのでしょうが、これは非現実的だと思います。
疲れて帰ってきた後に、お風呂に入って館内着に着替えたあとで、大きな荷物を持って、男女共有のエレベーターに乗り、ガラス張りのドアで外から見えるフロントまで戻ってくる、なんてしたくありません。結局みなさん廊下に荷物を置いてらっしゃいましたし、私もそうしてしまいました。すみません。

そもそも荷物が多い連泊を想定していないのかな？と思いましたので
「数泊、荷物がすごく少ない場合にオススメ。」という評価にさせていただきます。

・好立地のわりに平日は安い
・シャンプー類がいい香り
・館内着・タオルあり

その他気になったところ
・ラウンジの居心地が悪い　席が少ない、席の配置が悪い？　手洗い場がない

I have never tried a bean pillow , and it was the Worst thing ever, I could’ve died without ever trying it and I would’ve never regreted it.
But the smell of dirty bed clothes definitely was the worst thing about my experience at this hotel.
