Really good quality apartments kept in really good condition. The welcome pack with tea coffee and water was a bonus as we arrived at night.
Specious with everything you might need and walking distance to a large supermarket and the beach.
Our particular apartment was on the ground floor and the balcony did not get any sun, but that was the only minor issue.

The apartment is wonderful and is great value for money. We have stayed here twice this year, 8 nights in May and 15 nights in August. On both occasions we could not fault the property for the 5 of us.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped and it is a very safe and secure complex within minutes of the beach and local supermarket. All of this gets 5 stars for value for money, cleanliness and safety.
Our one complaint was that the seasonal pool was not open in May and then when we came to use it in August, it was so dirty that you could need see one foot ahead/deep. The staff said they had an issue with managing chlorine. There was a thick white substance like a type of mould. We did report it to the Ona Group complaints but got no response.
As a pool owner, I know what is safe/clean and unfortunately this was not. This is the only complaint but we found other local pools and paid a daily rate to use them instead. It would have got 5 stars if it were not for the seriously unclean pool.

Second visit, still as good!
This was our second stay here, this time we were with friends who each had their own apartment. The property is in a mainly residential group of blocks of apartments, of which the ONA Group seem to have about 20 for rental. The apartments are quite spacious for 2 adults or a family of 4, although there are two bedrooms & also a sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a kitchen area with facilities should you wish to cook etc. The properties are a short 5 minute stroll from the beach with several restaurants nearby, although they are not all open at this time of the year. The main town of Torrevieja is a level walk along the beach road, which takes 30-45 minutes depending on your walking speed!
I would have no hesitation in either revisiting or recommending this property, Liliana on the reception desk is most helpful about the area and was happy to recommend local attractions and amenities.

had a great holiday starting with the 2 lovely ladies in reception who could not have been more helpful, lovely apartment 250 metres from own private pool and approx 500 metres (10 mins) to the beach where we had many happy meals, small golden sandy beach where families would still be staying and swimming up to 11pm, we had several walks along the sea front where there a large variety of restaurants, as a family of 6 we are looking to return in the near future.

Irinia at reception was very helpful as pointed out best shops and places to visit. The small pool was very clean but a short walk from the apartment and for the most we had it too ourselves. The apartment is in a quiet part of town so if you are after a quiet relaxing holiday, then this is the place for you. Nice 30 min walk along seafront path to get to the busiest bars and restaurants.

Just come back from a 3 night stay. Great apartment for a short stay. Exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy although bedspreads had seen better days!! Not dirty but a bit ancient!! The sofabead in the living room was huge and reasonably comfortable. Lots of towels and storage.
Only saw the receptionist a couple of times to check in and out but she was helpful. Wish pool had been open but this is only open June-October.
5 minutes walk to Los Locos beach and a variety of restaurants. You can walk top Play del Cura in about 20 minutes where there are many more restaurants and a bigger beach.

All good from the start to finish really.Bit of a pain when you first get there as you have to go to the reception to collect your keys,then it's a 5 minute walk around the corner to find which block you are in.Room itself was a nice size.Big enough for us (two adults & two children).Nicely decorated,A/c and heating,workable size kitchen with coffee maker and kettle.Bed's were firm but comfortable.English channels on the tv, ie BBC,ITV,Channels 4 &5.Its about a 10 minute walk from the block we were in(No 20) to the sea front,where there were a handful of restaurants & bars.The only let down was there were no Wi-Fi available in the complex at all,not even in the reception.The lady at the reception let us use their pc to print off boarding passes which was nice.So had to use Wi-Fi down at the bars and restaurants.All in all I would book this apartment again.It was lovely and quiet(prob because it was February)Everything but the Wi-Fi which we could live with.

Ona Aldea del Mar is perfectly located close to the beach and local shops. A 30 min walk and you can be in the centre of Torrevieja and the Marina. The apartments are set in a lovely gardens and each apartment block is unique. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which was really spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even had a bottle of water and milk on arrival. They had also put the heating on.
The staff at reception were very welcoming and recommended local restaurants.
I would definitely recommend staying here but would suggest a top floor apartment as the people above us were noisy at times.
Note that there is no WIFI on site. Not an issue for us, but maybe for some folk.

Stayed six days over the Easter Holidays and transfers were provided which was a blessing with a late arrival with the Manager been great and helpful for our first visit to the area giving great information to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Even though the pool was closed the manager allowed us to use it whilst reception was open which was a bonus.
A little gem that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to our friends with excellent customer service from the Manager who was very proud of his establishment.

This is an excellent and well maIntained apartment complex just a 5 minute walk from the Los Locos beach. The apartments are a good 30 to 40 minutes walk along the seafront promenade to the main marina and town centre.
The apartment was clean on arrival, had a basic clean daily with bed linen changed once during our one week stay.

The kitchen layout was not ideal with the sink placed in the corner between the fridge freezer and hob. No breakages deposit had to be made. The only additional cost was 2 euros a day for the safe.

The only problem we had with the apartment was sorted within 15 minutes of report.
We stayed for the last week of March. Unfortunately the main pool area was closed during our stay but it did look fabulous and ideal for families.
All in all a very enjoyable stay in a quiet area of Torrevieja.

We stayed for just over a week in February and had a lovely time. Upon arrival we received lots of information about the area and tips on things to do (or not to do), including various maps and brochures, and we definitely did some of the ideas which we otherwise would not have thought of.

Ona Aldea del Mar is a large complex a 15 - 20 minute walk from the centre of the city.
There a bars and restaurants in the vicinity of the complex.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
Our stay was fine, but we would not return to this complex. It just did not appeal to us. Having said that: we could see that it would appeal to a broad range of customers.

Vice nice hotel apartments with Spanish flavour in a very peaceful setting. It was particularly refreshing having a cup of tea in the balcony overlooking an extremely well tended to garden. Kitchen utensils were clean and adequate and the washing machine has been a much needed asset. Both Abel and Elena were very patient and thorough in attending to our requests and enquiries.The only drawback is the lack of internet in the apartment and short opening times of the swimming pool (10 am to 7 pm). But overall we are very pleased with our stay there.

We enjoyed our week in the apartment, it was clean, well equipped and roomy. The reception staff were really nice, very friendly and helpful. The area was quiet and parking was easy. The negatives for us was the lack of wi-fi and the area was a little remote from the town centre. Otherwise it is a great choice.

Just returned home from a 3 night stay at Ona Aldea Del Mar, which has been a great experience from booking the apartment to leaving. Abel, the manager, was brilliant...sending me emails about how to get into the apartments if we were arriving outside of business hours, if we required airport transfers booking and a lot more. We arrived a little after 1700 in the evening and were greeted by the very courteous Abel. After he gave us our keys and a couple of maps of the area, he sent us to our apartment and we were very impressed. Plenty of room in the lounge with UK TV and a well serviced kitchen...toaster, microwave, oven and hob, iron, washing machine...even a welcome pack with washing up liquid, clothes washing gel, tea, coffee, milk etc. 2 bedrooms off the main lounge and kitchen area provided 3 adults with plenty of room. 1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge so enough room for 6 people all for a very tiny price. The apartments were very secure as we had about 5/6 keys to use before you get to your room so very safe and a very nice area of Torrevieja. Abel will also recommend were to eat whilst you are staying...thank you Abel for a great stay...hope to stay with you again soon.

Stayed 4 nights at the end of October as we were property hunting in the area. The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed. The bed was one of the most comfy I have slept in and you just sink into the pillows. The manager and receptionist were very helpful and couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome. Will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very private but the blocks are so spread out it is difficult to find which one you belong too. Where is the pool? The block I was assigned to was too far from Reception. quite a walk in the heat. I must, however, express my gratitude to Abel the manager when, after arrival at my accommodation I couldn't find my keys. I rang his mobile (after I had searched) and after he had left at the end of his shift and he was on his way to me with spares, I then found my keys and rang him again. He was so pleasant about it all and I hope he has forgiven me. I did apologise to him the next day.

This was a great holiday apartment, 2 beds very spacious a 2min walk from the lovely beach. the hotel manager 'Able' was amazing, made our week stay even better, couldn't do enough for us. the apartment was cleaned several times during our stay, the staff were extremely friendly, a great place to stay, there is a pool that you can use but its seasonal opens on the 21st june. some of the reviews i read said you had to pay to use the pool, the one on site is free there is a pool in another block which you can use but that is at a cost.

Just back from a short stay at Ona Aldea del Mar. We were on a very late flight so collected the keys and a site map from safe deposit box. Even at night we thought the place looked beautiful and we got pleasant surprise once inside the apartment. The place was immaculate and was way beyond what I thought we had booked. I have been on numerous holiday/breaks and paid lots more for apartments no where near this standard. There was even welcome pack for the washing machine. After arriving late we were decided to go to bed and start early in the morning exploring the local area. I don't think I have had a better sleep on holiday, the mattress was so comfortable(not always the case when in a hotel). In the morning we went to reception to book in and met Abel, the Site Manager. Abel gave us a very warm welcome and provided us with a local map and talked about how to make the most of our stay. During our conversation I mentioned how well we had slept and how impressed we were not only with the apartment but the bed! Abel explained the Company was constantly investing in improving the apartments including upgrading the mattresses and he was happy that we enjoyed our first night.

Stayed at the Ona Aldea del Mar in Torrevieja for 3 nights at the beginning of May, in a 2 bedroom self-catering apartment. The reception area was located close to the apartment areas; on arrival, Abel the hotel manager greeted us with great enthusiasm, was really friendly, very helpful & generally made us feel very welcome, which made a great start to the holiday. The apartments are located in gated well maintained gardens & to gain access to the apartment 4 separate key’s were needed, so made us feel very secure & safe. The apartment was spacious with Spanish style decor & came with all the amenities we needed & more, plus cleaned every day. There was plenty of free adjacent street parking too, so no problems with the car. The apartments are located only a short walking distance away from the beach, bars & shops, but not too close, making for a peaceful time. Overall we had a lovely break & would definitely stay at the Aldea del Mar again.

Arrived on a Sunday, hotel manager Abel was putting out keys for collection. When we arrived he took time to personally take us to the apartment, show us all the facilities how the keys worked in order. Gave us his personal number in case we needed anything. First class service. well done.

The head office had WiFi even though or room did not. We had all our amenities, from iron and iron board to oven and stove, washing machine and heater. We didn't expect the apartment would be well equipped.

Brilliant complex! High security which makes you feel safe. Very quiet and lovely surroundings. Five minute walk to the beach where you can either use your own beach equipment or hire the sunbeds and shade for €13 (2 beds and shade).
We had hired a car from the airport so ate out every evening. There are some nice and reasonably priced restaurants in the centre on the sea front. There is also a lovely eatery near the complex about five minutes walk.
I would highly recommend thus complex and can't wait to go back...

very unusual and comfortable apartment
This is our third stay in these apartments - really lovely and unusually furnished. Finishing touches good - milk,water, tea, coffee, etc. Also liked the washing machine and laundry liquid/washing up liquid. Nice pool if you want to use it. Only problem is that we were there from Saturday to Monday and the cleaners don't work on Sundays so had no service, otherwise more than happy.

the apartments complex is very nice and clean, is probably the best in torrevieja the only downside is that the pool is at extra charge and even if you live in the apartments you do not have any discount, the charges are 8 EUR per person per day and I think it is disgraceful...

You get more than what you pay for
I bought a budget/value apartment space for a week holiday, the service was excellent, I loved guest only pool they made available, and the little set of extras they give you to get you started in the kitchen was very handy. For comfort the bed wasn't five star, but it was solid and we felt rested when we woke up. The rest of the place was very well kept with more than what we needed for our stay. I don't know why everyone has a moan about the keys, it is a logical way of keeping each site secure, I felt safer and was happy with the way it all worked.

Stayed in early March. Not in the middle of town, near a beach, bars and cafes nearby, small supermarket 5mins walk, not far from the coastal bus to La Marta, receptionist was very polite and helpful, street parking, apartment is well appointed and cleaned daily, secure and very pleasant gardens giving an 'oasis' feel. If I visited that part of Spain again, I would definitely stay here. Did not use the pool which is located near reception that is not part of the main complex.

Usually I travel abroad 2-3 times a year. I have visited Italy, Germany, UAE, Turkey, Cuprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Montenegro, France, Czhech Republic, USA, Greece. That was my first visit to Spain. I visited Alicante, Torreveja and Benidorm. As to me the best beaches are in El Campello near Alicante and Lamata, Torreveja. Hotels are tidy and comfortable with very kind and professional staff. Going to visit Spain again.

These apartments are well maintained and clean. It does feel like you are attempting to get into fort knox when you first arrive, but I guess with so many apartments and such a high turnover of guests the security arrangements work well.

Finding reception was quite some feat because as you arrive at the junction and turn left to the apartments, you can see where you will be staying, but not how to get the keys. Essentially at that junction you would ordinarily need to turn left, but this is a no entry one way street ...... basically you have to do a very large \"square\" to find reception. Once you've done it once, it's easy!! LOL

Had a great time bit quiet for the time of year entertainment wise, weather was great, location good, near beach, but found La Mata beach better, had to purchase sun umbrella and chairs as quite expensive to hire every day.

Took us an hour to find reception to book in. Apartment very close to beach and clean and tidy. However on checking out asked what time and told it was ok to stay but then Manager rude in the extreme when we did and we got charged for late booking out. When we complained her parting shot was \"hope you had a bad holiday\"! We were shocked at her behaviour. Would recommend the apartment but the Manager was appalling.

Everything was really great starting with the excellent service, greeting and clean and very cool apartment. The apartment was close to the beach, about a 5 min walk away and also to some nice bars and restaurants. We loved the character of the apartment which was thoroughly Spanish in ambience and decor. We were sceptical about our stay after reading some bad reviews on Trip Advisor. I sometimes wonder just what people want. The apartments are beautiful manicured gardens that are spotless. The architect who designed the apartments used reclaimed materials from old churches and castles which adds to the beauty. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our self catering holiday. There is a free small pool at the reception which is less than 5minutes walk away or a communal pool which is€8 per day per person or €90 for 15 uses. Also less than 5minutes away. It has an excellent cafe with fantastic food. It was never over crowded during our stay, last 2 weeks of July. There are 2 life guards on duty who are excellent. The beach is a very short stroll away and we found that t was mainly Spanish holidaymakers. It is safe to say that the Aldea Del Mar area of Torrevieja is still very Spanish...hardly any English people which we liked. Certainly no rowdy English karaoke bars. True authentic Spain! The walk to the main part of Torrevieja is approximately 30mins away and also has remained true Spain with a gorgeous Marina and funfair. Will definitely stay here again that is if we don't buy an apartment. That's how much we enjoyed our stay at Aldea Del Mar!

Disappointing stay
We were shocked when we arrived in the living area. The main office and pool area were nice but, when we entered the living room, the first thing that caught our eye was the old, poorly covered couch. We were hesitant to sit on it, much less use it as a bed. The rest of the flat was better, but not much - a complete makeover is in order for this property. We liked the layout of the place but it was a little small and more than 45 minutes from the city of Alicante.
Bottom line: we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the run-down furniture.

The Aldea Del Mar Complex is extremely well kept, the villa is clean and tidy and fairly comfortable.Rooms are cleaned and beds made every day. We checked in outside the opening hours, we emailed the reception who gave us the address where we had to pick the keys up from with a description what to look for. I put the address into Google street view and found the building including the sign on the wall. Very easy to find. We are used to Spanish accomodation being basic but clean and tidy and this was was certainly a good descrition. Ideal for a week break for four of us. Recommend centro playa restaurant 5 minutes from the villa and Carlos's bar which is a ten minute walk.

My initial experience was when I rang the hotel from the UK to arrange transport from and to the airport. A young lady answered who promptly hung up on me twice! This didn't give me a lot of confidence. Having arrived in the area (which was a very large residential area it was difficult to actually locate the reception. We were only able to do this with the help of a local resident. The reception was closed and I eventually got through on the telephone numbers printed on the wall outside. At that a man named \"Emelio\" arived and was incredibly helpful. Booked us in and took us to our apartment and showed us around etc.
The apartment was great with only minor faults i.e. the patio door stuck and the air condition didnt seem to work but apart from that it was great, with a lovely balcony overlooking a well maintained garden.
