I would say pretty dated hotel. Pool bar was closed, it was difficult to leave kids and get a drink if only one adult on holiday.
There is a fridge in room, but no glasses, no kettle for coffee or tea..
the worst part was shower, the temperature was changing all the time, got burned…

Nowhere to go. Nearest town about 5kms

Although this hotel may suit others it was not for me. Location was rather isolated in a residential area. €8 euros per day parking. You are unlikely to find a space on nearby streets. No bars ar restaurants nearby. Nearest supermarket 40 mins walk. So you have to rely solely on what the hotel has to offer. There are 3 gift shops on site but food or drink must be purchased from the hotel bar or meal plan. Food in restaurants is ok... but nothing special. Bar prices are fairly good. Water can be purchase at the bar €1.80 for a 1.5 lire bottle. The rooms are basic. There is a fridge a fridge but no kettle/tea making facilities. Just a few yards to a long sandy beach. Outdoor swimming pool is clean and inviting. Indoor pool/spa is charged for. If you pay for all inclusive and don't want to leave the hotel then it might be ok. I didn't help that the hotel hosted a chess tournament while we were there. 7 year olds upwards. There are 500+ rooms and the hotel was full mainly of kids... although they were well behaved, the noise was horrendous and is amplfied by the design.

Worst experience in Spain

I wrote to the hotel well in advance that I was interested in checking in a little earlier (2 hours), and I informed them that I was only going to rest before my flight and would not use the paid night, since I would be leaving the hotel at 8:00 PM, so they could have sold it again. No one answered me, so we arrived at the hotel at the standard check-in time, I waited in line to check in for up to an hour despite my warnings that I was only coming for 4 hours and that everything was paid for. Terrible staff, terrible hotel…

this was a large hotel complex with good access to the beach. Pool was nice and clean but water was cold to stay in for very long.Typical buffet meals...no variety, no veggies, very little fruit. Rooms were OK but the pillows were terrible (Easily right across the bed at 1.2 meters long. They do not vave standard size pillows. Sadly smoking is still allowed on balconies which migrates to other balconies in the vicinity. Smoking appears to be still quite common in Spain.

The reviews of this hotel do not do this hotel justice., just ignore. Nearly didn’t book due to this reason. Fantastic hotel, great for children. Staff really helpful, this is a Spanish hotel but that suited us perfectly. Fantastic views of the sea and a great beach. Will definitely return

This has been a great little hotel for our adventures in the area. Very good dining option with the buffet, walkable to different beaches and good parking outside. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and very good with children. Close enough to local shops if you have a car, and plenty of other areas to explore. Just a short drive up to Alicante, and further up the road is Benidorm, so loads to do.

If all you want is a beach then it's fine. You certainly need a car to get around and car park is very expensive. Next to no evening entertainment. Rooms fine. Food not great. Breakfast very bad and expensive.

Our stay was good to very good ,just be aware they charge 98€ for parking for 2 weeks! The BIG problem is the bar. During the day time you have to form a cue to purchase drinks, this maybe ok for most but being dissabled i had to sit the bar. I was totaly ignored and got no better service from the reception staff. 1 good point though goes to the EXCELLENT Christian as he had no problem and apologised profusely because the femail staff would not even accommodate me.

Beware paper thin walls

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Would not stay again though as paper thin walls meant we could hear our lively neighbours well past midnight and again first thing.
This definitely took the edge off an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We only stayed for one night for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, all of which were good. There were a lot of children in the Hotel (mainly Spanish) sometimes running around the dining room, it was a weekend night so could be different at other times, personally I enjoyed seeing them, but some people might not.

Well where to start .. after when i came i had to ask for everything becose i did not really got any information about where is elevator where to go for breakfast i had to ask everything and after i got answer.. on breakfast uff .. cold food even that it supposed to be warm it was cold, when it comes to options i have laktose intolerance .. not much options for me than but to be honest after i saw cockroach running toward me i gave up and left after screaming (sorry didn't took pic in that moment i was jumping on chair).. also room.. very small pillows one thin blanket which was supposed to go over normal blanket for sleeping.. there was non so i was 3 days sleeping over this thin blanket , toilet was after one flush leaking water constantly til i pressed it many times. Not super clean inside hotel also many stuff around but on positive side location was really nice and out of everything 😀 .. dont recommend at alltho and would never ever go back , not worth money

If you are British STAY AWAY this hotel does not like the British couldn't make it any clearer. Staff on check in extremely rude no greeting or conversation at all. Bar staff as bad, the elderly man (The manager) should be sacked He was just down and out rude. The rooms are too small for two queen size beds can't swing a cat in them. Food at best warm not much variety had to use the microwave to warm up ended up eating out. Hotel is close to the beach but thats the only thing no bars or restaurants any where near hotel it is in the middle of no where, very difficult to get taxis went to Guardamar one evening and at 11pm couldn't get a taxi back to hotel had to walk for over an hour through a pitch black lane Mainly Spanish guests most of whom where as rude as the staff. The entertainment was dire, the bar area reminded me of a school canteen with metal chairs and tables no nice seating area's, no music, no atmosphere. They advertised satalite TV yes they have it but in every language apart from english not even a news channel. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances do not waste your money

Wasn’t very happy that I’d booked a room with a bath and was given one with a shower. This was resolved fortunately by the staff after complaining. Disappointed that no coffee or tea making provisions in the room and the fact that the bathroom locked us out - obviously a common occurrence by the quick fixing response. Bed comfortable and balcony as expected. Excellent access to beach but didn’t like having to pay for safe and parking. Food was a buffet for each meal and social distancing difficult there. Food selection ok.

Great location for the beach

Hotel was very clean and rooms comfortable. There was parking on site at a cost of 4,50 euros per 24 hours although there were some free parking spaces just outside the hotel but these were busy.
We opted for full board and there was plenty of choice of food. There were two sittings for dinner and breakfast and your slot depended on whether you were on an even or odd numbered floor.
The only (slight) negative is the fact that whilst there were a fair number of lifts, they were often busy and so had to wait for a free one. There was a stairwell which was fine to walk down but if on one of the higher floors it was a long walk up!
Short walk to the beach which was very clean and lifeguards on duty.

Like : rooms basic but ok, food was blant and cold but plenty of it of you go soon enough. If you fancy breakfast at 10 , dont bother all you will get is dirty tables and empty pans. Despite breakfast meant to be served until 10.30 all cleared by 10.20
Didint like : customer service : 0, customer care: 0. Staff make you feel like you are an inconvenience, receptionist put zero effort to make you feel welcome, entertainment for kids - none. Would not comeback.

We stayed here in Feb 2020 with my partner's parents who are retirees. Though we know this style of hotel is never going to be the most peaceful experience, we were surprised with how much you could hear between the walls and how disruptive the people on our floor were. Next door to us was a couple that was fighting and never attempted to use a quieter tone of voice and we had to call security. We could hear everything. Down the hall was a group of teenage footballers who had no sense that they were sharing a space and would talk in the hallway and even play football in the corridor late at night. They were quite rude, too. Again we had to call security. We were surprised that with a hotel that was half empty, the hotel didn't put these young people in their own wing so they wouldn't bother all of the older people who were staying here. The food is fine: a pretty good mix of food from a buffet, but we wish there had been more flan. I wouldn't ever stay here in season, but if you want a cheap place near the beach and within reach by car of some interesting towns, this is fine. Nothing special. The views of the beach are nice and each room patio is private. But overall, there is too much noise that carries between rooms and some pretty horrible guests. I will say, though, that the staff are very nice and helpful.

The problem with this hotel is that the walls are thin and if you got people talking both sides then it's no good unless you bang on wall to shut them up or your a bit deaf not to hear or a deep sleeper and I found the food was the same nearly every day.

very old and tired, staff where sometimes abrupt, especially the evening bar staff why would you sell drinks at 12.26 and then ask you to leave the lounge because they where finished and needed to close the lounge, we where told to put our drinks in flimsy plastic cups and sit out in reception . have travelled all over the world and this is the first time have ever had to do this very embarrassing .

Excellent position to access the beach and lovely veiws from our balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean. The pool was clean and the area surrounding was nice with a open bar for coffee and drinks during the day. Unfortunately the hotel was let down by the food...we were booked in for half board, we had our breakfast there but after the first evening meal my husband wouldn't eat dinner there again - we were booked for 4nights. We would definately stay there again but NOT have half board and maybe not even have breakfast there - Sadly the food lets the hotel down!!

Upon arrival at the hotel, we found the check-in staff to be friendly and helpful.
I had to pay for parking though, despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere!
The room was clean, although it was advertised as a double there were two single mattresses and two single beds made up.
There were some soap and other hygiene items available in the bathroom.
We had paid for bed and breakfast, the breakfast was ok. There was no choice of cereals and a poor selection of drinks. It was a confusing layout, ie, the first day we arrived we were told to go around the back door, the next day, through the main entrance.
Also, three times that week, I received a phone call at around 2am, which wasn't well received! I also found one of the reception staff unfriendly on the phone when I asked for the wifi code.
Check out was swift and straightforward.

3 Star no more no less.

This hotel is clean & friendly. If you are expecting a 4 star then don't come here. The hotel is dated but the staff give 5 star service. The rooms are not spacious, but functional & most important clean. Negative points would be the thin walls & loud dining room which holds a large number of people. The pool is not stunning but nice enough. However the beach is a short walk away & well worth the effort.
We Spent a week & this hotel has grown on us. Food is fair & you need a car to get about.

The hotel is very clean, but the rooms are dated. The Tv is no bigger than a Computer monitor. The pillow was probably the most uncomfortable one I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was fine.

The walls do not seem to block any noise. We could hear the family in the next room bathing their children and drying their hair at 01:30 in the morning.

Good value for a few nights, but aside from the beach there is nothing around. For the size of the hotel the pool is tiny and crowded.

On the beach

This hotel is set right on a beautiful beach which is absolutely gorgeous. Downside for some people being that there is not much else around that you can walk to.
However there was a small supermarket up the road and round the corner bout 1/2 a mile a cafe and a restaurant. However the hotel has it's own bars and restaurant so you can be all inclusive if you wish and they have some shops in the foyer which sell gifts clothing and essential items. They also have vending machines for snacks drinks and water and also one for essential items you may have forgotten. Additionally there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel which goes to the nearest town Guadarmar.
I had a hire car so for a smallish daily fee I parked it in the hotel car park. I think it was 24 euro for the week.
I liked the hotels location (but I had a car) so I was extremely happy and impressed with this hotel.
There was a small indoor pool and gym which I didn't visit and outside a lovely quite large pool with sunbeds and chairs. Although as usual with any hotel this could be quite busy.
On site was a wonderful massage therapist called Olga who was absolutely brilliant. I ended up having 4 one hour massages and a reflexology..it was bliss.
If I returned to this area of Spain again I would definitely Redbook to stay at this hotel.
I travelled alone so I was the only single person there, but I felt quite happy in my surroundings. The majority of staff were very helpful and nice with the odd grumpy Spanish man.

Modern hotel very near the beach

I didn't realise it was a 'Spanish hotel' as I booked very quickly flying the following day so didn't research in any detail. By this I mean it was mainly Spanish people in it and at the time of my visit ( mid May) it was the holiday period for the retired Spanish people to go on vacation. I thought it was in Guardamar as I went by the name so was disappointed it was 3 km out and spent more in taxes than anticipated. However, there is an hourly bus but my timings for appointments meant I didn't get to use it.
Food was quite good but staff definitely not geared up for the English put were helpful on reception. The bar staff were more friendly.
The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed seeing and hearing the sea from the room.
They haven't got the ambience right in the bar area..lots too bright and the acoustics dreadful. The one evening there was entertainment on in my 4 day stay was in a room with no bar and it was too dark and more like a waiting room so I didn't stay.
The outside space is pleasant and the board walk to and from the beach was great.

hotel was clean and tidy with good beds, no local amenities (shops bars restaurants) 8euro each way to guardama for shops etc in taxi, there was a bus shuttle on the hour, last 1 back 9.30. Staff were nice, food was Horrible. Wifi was great Great for peaceful break with lovely close by beach.

secluded pensioners hotel!

if going here be aware you need to get a cab anywhere you want to go even to go and get food because you definitely can not eat there the food selection is horrible furthermore this not a hotel for young people! Everyone staying there was 60+. Reception staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Would never go back!

The Hotel was spacious and very clean. Our room was on the second floor with a good sized balcony with sea view. Rooms serviced every day by friendly staff. Just on the outskirts of Guardamar with an excellent beach and facilities. Seating and bar etc outside. Cafeteria for snacks. The Hotel has its own path down to the beach. A large swimming pool and sun beds with towels provided by the Hotel. We were on a bed and breakfast tarrif so can't comment about other meals. However, breakfast was buffet style, hot and cold and was replenished regularly. Tables were cleaned as soon as people left. About four shops with clothing, footwear, beach items and gifts as well as hairdressers and spa. Vending machines for other sundries, all at reasonable prices. There was a regular mini bus to transport people into nearby Guardamar as well as a large car park for those who had their own transport. Entertainment was limited. A pianist one night and keyboard and guitarist on another night, but pleasing to the ear if you just wanted to relax and chat. A children's room with staff to look after their needs. Good value for money and would return again.

Nice relaxing beach break

If you are looking for Relaxing break right in the beach this for you. Hotel ok right on beach. You do have set times for lunch and dinner which can be difficult with small children when you have an 8pm slot for dinner. No entertainment, but it is out of season. The nearest town is a Hal's hour walk along beach or an 8 Euro taxis ride where you will find restaurants and cafes on not much more. Taxis are very hard to get hold of at hotel and once you are in town. They do have a bus that runs every hour until 9pm at 80 cents. Note this does not run on a Sunday. Most Staff quite rude as were most of the Spanish guests. One supermarket a short walk but hotel very secluded. Beach bar great and the beach is beautiful. If you want a relaxing quite break this is the place for you. Food not particularly fantastic depends what you like.

Quiet location, need a car

The hotel caters for conventions, however the desk staff is not set up for this, groups/conventions should be checked separately. I have to wait 45 minutes for ask desk staff a one question as I was queuing behind everyone, who thought it ok to push in. Staff seem incapable of fastening up the process, they work at the same pace regardless of urgency, including going into the back offce chatting to Manager who is also sat down at a computer looking busy !

Bad dinning experience

We found the hotel clean but the food was TERRIBLE. We booked half board expecting that to suit us.....BUT.....the food was always COLD......nothing we tried to eat was hot, we had to eat outside of the hotel. All in all don't think we will return to this hotel or tell our friends about it. There is nothing worse than COLD FOOD

Large Hotel Close to Beach But Nothing Else

Just back from a seven night stay in this hotel , 12th May 2016 . Large Hotel with good outside space and nice pool . The inside pool had very dirty water and the Gym was small with old damaged equipment with no ventilation . The breakfast was good but the dining hall is large and very noisy , definitely would not recommend it for an evening meal , paid 25 euro for two people for one night and the food was not great and again the dining hall was so noisy you could not hear yourself think .
The room (stayed in 252) had a good sea view with small but nice balcony and was kept very clean . The problem was no sound proofing at all so could hear everything that was said from the rooms either side as well as the televisions running all night some evenings .
The hotel stands on its own with good beach access , unfortunately there are no bars or other restaurants around , so you have a long walk or have to drive into Guardamar which at the time of year we stayed was not really open yet .
Do not think I could recommend staying here but if you do bring some ear defenders for the room and dining hall .

Nice the hotel is on the beautiful beach ! Safe .

Hotel is nearly all Spanish ! Only a couple of English people ! All older people there and a few children ! Great value for money ! Buffet so yr find something you like to eat ( won't starve ) no where to walk in the eve and no shops there ! But I like the doing nothing ! For a week !
Good for children ! I've been there 2 times ( but April it was windy and cold ) may be better June ? Onwards ! No real lounge ! A bar area ! But we enjoyed a week here I took my grandson 24 and his daughter two and half which was fine ! May be if you had a car you could get around more ! Other wise a bit trapped ! We had breakfast . Lunch and dinner as there nothing else around

Not exactly what I was expecting but enjoyed it :)

Mmm, beach & pool are great. We went out of season so weather was never going to be perfect but it was good enough for us to enjoy outside and it was a lot better than the UK. I lived in the canaries for 10 yrs so im used to Spanish people and can speak the language which made things easier for me. Be warned if you are not spanish and dont speak the language you will get charged more in the beach bar. Hotel itself was nice and clean however it doesnt really cater for british. Meal times are late 8pm & 10pm depending on what floor you are on, in summertime you will not be able to swap. My kids are 5 & 7 and struggled to stay up. Little one lived on chips and bread for the week although there is a vast amount of choice if your kids like things in breadcrumbs then not much on offer. Also be prepared there is nothing near the resort, you need a car or just be ready to pay the prices of everything in the hotel. Kids entertainment 11am-1pm & 5pm-7pm, you can leave your child or just let them play with the team (limited english)at the pool whilst you relax. Also mini disco at weekends. All in all I wouldn't go back but I am glad I went it was cheap, kids had fun the weather was ok. Hope this helps x

Very nice location and excellent staff.

I stayed at the hotel for a week with my partner. We found the staff helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and would have been great but there are 2 double beds pushed together in there, taking up too much space. The view of the beach and the close walk there was the hotels saving grace for me. The food really lets the hotel down and the lack of any seating system makes it feel like a canteen, several times our food went cold while we tried to find a clean available table. A couple of days we just couldn't eat there as there was pork in almost everything. We tried the cocktails at the pool bar once & never went back, they were permixed syrupy drinks. With some fresh fruit juice and a few bottles I could have done much better myself, very disappointing. We had hired a car and were shocked to learn that the hotel charge us a daily rate to park there, aspaying customers?! We felt the hotel has huge potential but is badly in need of of an overhaul.

Fantastic family hotel

Lovely hotel with every facility you could want. Located right on a fantastic beach. Parking must be paid for, but it is secure. Great hotel for families because not near any noisy bars etc. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, with enormous variety of foods on offer. including \"champagne\". Should prob have a higher star rating. Would happily return.

Oh dear.

My wife and daughter booked a standard room for their stay - advertised with 2 double twin beds or three single beds, they booked twin double beds but got two small single beds pushed together - the room was very small, no room for three singles if thats what you need - unless they are bunks. They managed to seperate the beds and put a bedside table between them. They only booked for breakfast which was ok but manic at the weekend when full. The photographs in the advertisement are new and you will notice that the poolside is deserted - they went to sit by the pool at 9.30am that morning but security told them to go away until 13.00hrs as they were having a photo shoot - the weather was good and they could have started at 06.00hrs and been finished in time so as not to disturb the paying guests!!! They also tried to use the indoor pool but were not allowed in without a swimming cap purchased from the hotel shop - not an attractive look. They also used the car park which costs 4 euros per day. If you want to use the in room safe that also costs 4 euros per day. The service at the reception was unbelieveably slow as was the service at the bar - if you want a drink its quicker to run down to the beach shack bar (not belonging to the hotel) which was very welcoming. They will not stay at this hotel again, if you add all the time spent waiting for service and the extras you have to pay it would have been better to book a more expensive hotel where they might feel welcome.

Nice hotel, very close to the beach!

It was a lovely place to stay, very good staff, very clean place. The breakfast buffet was great, the food was delicious. Would recommend this place for everyone who want to relax :)

Charmless and Cheerless

I was booked for 5 nights but had to move out after 2 - and I only made the second night because I was making my plan for escape . The hotel is ugly, my tiny balcony overlooked an ugly road, you can't get away from music on the beach, the gym was very small and uninviting but the \"restaurant\" experience was the most hugely unpleasant. It is a canteen on self-service basis (even for evening meal), with cleaners in tyvek masks and rubber gloves continually clattering trolleys and clearing away around you. I'm amazed the Spanish holidaymakers, who were mostly couples rather than families, put up with it. You eat up in rushed manner as the second sitting are queueing up outside the door. The hotel is 2k from the town with nothing else around for the evening save the cafeteria - brightly lit, clinical and soulless. What happened to Spanish style? Well at least I found that when I moved out to Altea, my faith was thankfully restored.

very nice family hotel close to a beautiful beach. Clean big hotel with all rooms having a wonderful beach view. The town is a little far away so would recommend a hire car or make sure you have money for taxis.

Great Value ,straight on beach a great find

This is a nice enough hotel in a great beach ,not much around it but nice walk along beach into Guardamar . Loved the beach ,clean and well organised . We were visiting family who picked us up and took us to various restaurant s .We had breakfast and lunch at hotel which was lots of choice - very Spanish which was good for us

Not Suitable for those with children

The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. This hotel is very isolated. There is a small bar/cafe on the beach and the serving gentleman is very friendly and kind. He sells Pizza for 8 euros and ice creams, chips, beer and hotdogs. Inside the Hotel there is a cafe bar but it only sells cheese or ham sandwiches and drinks . When I asked at reception for ideas of where to lunch the receptionist said there was nowhere at all. This Hotel is geared up for Spanish people. There is little English spoken and the food is very limited for choice. The walls between each room are paper thin and one is disturbed by neighbours, snoring, talking and using their bathrooms. The Spanish people who were guests in the Hotel seem to shout at every opportunity and their children were not well disciplined and unruly. Some of the older Spanish guests were very upset at their behaviour, as was I. They were running up and down on top of the air hockey and pool tables and making a disgraceful mess for the staff to clear up, whilst screaming constantly. The pool is very nice and it is conveniently situated, with a very short walk to the beach. On the beach 2 x sunbeds and a parasol is 10 euros a day. We stayed half board, but unfortunately the evening meal is not available until 20.00hrs! - 21.00hrs if you are on the upper floors. This seems to suit the Spanish guests but was totally unsuitable for the English guests. I would not return to this Hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Go again? Definitely yes!

Loved the location, great beach. Beds comfy, rooms cleaned daily, great views, food excellent, service really good and really friendly. Would we go again? Absolutely! The only negative was not much to do in the evening.
