Perfect for what we needed.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. The pool is good. We liked to get down early in the morning before the kids got there. There’s those silly people who put towels on loungers all day even though they didn’t arrive till early evening this affected our first day as there was lots free but with towels on them. Also I think the hotel should tell you how to enter the pool and leave the pool as we weren’t told and we had to be told by other customers and then we told others.
Some of the items were just about to break which worries me as you have to pay the £100 deposit. The sofa felt like it was about to go. The freezer door wouldn’t close to we had to jam something in it to make it close but the place is still perfect for what we needed it for just some relaxing and the air cons good too.

I requested transport from the apartments we were emailed to say a taxi from the apartments would pick us up but it didnt arrive.after half an hour searching, the airport we got a taxi .reception.didnt seem to no anything. Apartment was basic thought there may have been tea making facilities, we had a apartment facing the swimming pool , but they emptied it on the 2nd day so no swimming for us as it stayed empty. The staff in reception were really nice , and it is a lovely resort , people friendly, but just wish we had upgraded, so we could have had a kettle .

The walls in this place are paper thin so you can hear everything that your neighbours are doing. The noise from the boat yard is terrible sometimes. The place needs a lot of TLC. I thought guest could use the big carpark for free but I was wrong. Had to pay for 10 days parking.

Depends what you want...

Bit of a Marmite apartment to be honest. You can't fault the location - excellent for exploring and dwontown/the beach are within walking distance.

It's next to a paid public car park which always had space (although getting in and out can be tricky as all the beach goers abandon their cars so they don't need to pay for parking).

Our apartment was OK. It was noisy outside until the early hours as it's a complex of 6 of so buildings, and if you have someone above you, there is practically no sound proofing (sure we had vampires above us as they were moving furniture around all night every night).

A previous guest had punched a hole in one of the wardrobe doors and overall maintenance was sadly lacking.

For the money we paid, I expected a better overall standard and for things to have been maintained better. I appreciate COVID has had an impact, but if you want to attract customers back, you're going to have to up your game.

Won't be staying here again, but good to know about the car park.

Again, for others, they may not be bothered about the noise.

We only managed to stay one night. Little resemblance to the pictures. Small bedroom, no wardrobe no tea or cofee facilities, in fact no facilities. The matress was old and sank in the middle, the bed cover was a sleeping bag. The bathroom smelt damp, you could hear water running down the pipes and you could hear the people next door going to the toilet. There was no terrace and the harbour repair yard was next door and work started early. At night it was noisy as people walked through the complex as a shortcut. Could not recommend this less.

The property is right on the marina with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It has a private pool area as well although the water was freezing ,but it was December so not a surprise. For the price we paid we have no grumbles.

Right next to the sea and marina marred by the fact we had booked room with two single beds and got a double so had to use the fold down bed which was extremely uncomfortable. Some good places for breakfast/beer adjacent too. Apartment all abit basic but for the price good value

I Visit Torrevieja 3/4 times a year and this is first time staying at the Marina, I was in room 10 and requested to be moved due to smell in the shower coming from the drains, I was then moved to number 9 next door and problem was the same but I just said its a short stay so ill stay in the room. room number 9 also had problem with ants in kitchen draws and benches, was ok for short stay but I wouldn't stay again as in need of lots of work.
Staff were helpful and tried there best.

Bargain in a great location

We had a two bed sea view apartment , which was lovely and clean and very spacious . The apartments are perfect location , just a short walk into town or along the seafront to bars and restaurants, but to be honest we used the restaurants and bar within the complex most of the time . The breakfast at Moby Dick was delicious and only 5.50 Euro including a coffee, and Dinner was also delicious. The Ship is a lovely little English bar, the staff and locals are so friendly , we had some great evenings here .

Good sized apartment, but only cleaned ever 4 days. Stairs handrail loose in places, also no lift or help with anything. Your just given a key and that’s it. Some receptionists don’t speak / understand much English. We would have to be desperate to stay again.

We booked a one bedroom apartment which allegedly slept 4 people. When we arrived we were given an appartment with one double bed and one small sofa. This was totally unsuitable as it was 4 adult males who were travelling. We were forced to change appartments for an additional cost of 40 euros. The hotel staff were very unhelpful and kept referring us back to Expedia. I intend to take this matter further with Expedia customer services.

The rooms are quite small with tired bedding, towels and facilities. Furniture is on its last legs. We changed room only to a small apartment with kitchenette. The cooking utensils were minimum, but the size of the room was much better than the room only option.
We had a few ants in the kitchen area but generally the room was clean.
The TV had only 2 English language channels
The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The marina the apartments are located on have a couple of bars and restaurants and is very relaxed.
It wouldn’t be my choice but for one or two nights stop over it would be ok. The price reflects the condition of the property.
The location is a short walk from the new marina and plenty of beaches and some great bars and restaurants of Torrevieja.
It could be much better with a little more investment from the owners and attention to details.

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Air conditioner is always a good bonus in Spain, but the best of all was the location - nice views, few restaurants and coffees and walking distance to the beaches, Tourists information centre and the bus station.
Very good value accommodation.

Horrible hotel, first day stayed in room named Madrid has disgusting swerge drain smell in Bathroom filled whole apartment, they replaced it following day, next to it called London kind of smelled horrible specially at night... Next door room you hear people talking moaning loud noise any time of the day, can't complain as it's hotel construction issues nothing can be done, only read this review and don't waste your money.... Torrevieja is boring quite town in winter.

This hotel is convenient for beaches and shopping/eating out.
My husband is quite disabled and some handholds in the bathroom would have been very helpful.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the apartment was clean and tidy although the facilities for cooking were very basic.
On the whole we enjoyed our holiday and would return to this venue.

Not a hotel to have a relaxing stay

Room on ground floor next to car park. Damp, vile smell of sewage and bedding and towels not of best quality or particularly clean. Youths hanging round door late at night drinking and at 6.45am a prositute doing her business in back of car opposite in full view of anyone passing by. Shocking place.

Great location.
If you have a balcony facing into courtyard be aware they have karaoke weekly and it can be difficult to have a good night's sleep.
Service was mediocre, they never replaced the lights in our bathroom.
Flat was clean and spacious. Balcony was a plus.
Food options are okay.

Restaurants great hotel not so much

Hotel tired and room dark and small. State all rooms have sea veiw but not ours.
Tried for an upgrade but costing almost as much as we paid in total just for 3 nights due to having to clean 2 rooms.
No soundproofing in rooms at all
Both restaurants food were gorgeous and looked lovely. Restaurant staff were pleasantl.

the boats next door to the hotel had machinery going regularly,also motor cyclists with loud engine noises employed by the marina,apart from that i was very pleased with the hotel

This was our 4th stay at the Marina International. Unfortunately it will be our last. We had booked a room for 3, 2 adults and 1 child. They did not provide sheets/bedding for the sofa bed. The smell from the bathroom was terrible, as there is no window an extractor fan would be recommended.
The apartment we had was in the club nautica side,( white buildings not the red). We were told that pool was closed for cleaning. Then when pool opened we were told that we couldn't use it ,as it was solely for Yacht club members. Difficult to understand why this wasn't mentioned on arrival. We had a very excited child who couldn't wait to use the pool and when it was finally opened was very disappointed to learn she wasn't allowed to use it.
We were told that quiet hours were from midnight to 8am, however the same couldn't be said for the bars below the apartments, 2am in the morning the music was still blaring. When we asked at reception, the receptionist thought we were complaining about another resident making noise and was prepared to deal with them, but when we explained it was the bar, she said its the holidays. It may have been the holidays but the music was blaring in an empty bar,
Placing a family with a young child directly above a bar , and across from the disco bar was not ideal. More consideration should be given to room allocations.

Stayed for 4 nights. The room is a good size, however there is only a basic TV with one English channel a dining table with 4 chairs and a fold away sofa bed. A lamp would be a good idea and perhaps a picture or two to deaden the sounds. At night you can hear people moving and talking due to the echo's in the apartment. The kitchen is extremely basic with limited cutlery and no decent sized mugs for tea/coffee etc only tea cups available. We found the fridge noisy in such an empty apartment so turned it off in the evenings. Wifi is intermittent. If you have a car and want to park in the hotel car park, be prepared to pay 8 euro a day. (Feb 2017). Hot water is via a combi boiler so no issue, and the shower is good. Overall a place to stay but don't expect anything special.

Also says hairdryer provided but they said they don't-they did lend me one that another guest had left though

So we booked a cheap break, so we got what we expected in terms of the hotel, we were in a ground floor apartment, which was basic but clean. Location was fantastic as you are literally on the edge of the marina, with the boats being within a few strides of your door. Balcony was very small.

Booked a 1 bedroomed apartment with twin beds but on arrival we were given a 1 bedroomed apartment with 1 small double bed and a sofa bed. As we need separate beds we were just given sheets to make up the sof bed ourselves. Not a very nicely located room with a sewage smell and very noisy extract unit close by. We had asked for a quiet room not on ground floor but as we arrived late we had been allocated what was probably the worst room available

A night in Berlin.....!! fun at the Marina

Pleasant surprise as we were right down on the water front. The marina was full of yachts large and small which we could watch from our very tiny balcony.
The apartment was fairly basic but comfortable and it did have an electric kettle and coffee maker.
The main wall where flat screen TV was had a huge mural of Berlin, I believe other rooms had pictures of other cities...different.
The many bars and restaurants had a variety of international food and some entertainment. Surprisingly in a Marina not expensive.
It is very handy for going into Torrevieja either on foot or bus which is not far from appt.
Torrevieja is not great for driving however it does have many underground car parks if you need to drive.

from bad to good

A great place to stay if you get the right room. On arrival we were put in a small, dark, unappealing small ground floor apartment- no balcony. We immediately voiced our dissatisfaction, but were told that that all the apartments with balconies were 2 bedroomed. Our bedroom window looked into the restaurant so our blinds had to be drawn at all times.
After 3 days we both agreed that our holiday was a total disaster because of our poor accommodation. We once again asked to be moved, and were told it wasn't possible. We refused to accept this as we felt sure that the complex wasn't full and said that even if we had to wait till people moved out we wanted a change of apartment. Within 15 minutes a lovely 1 bedroomed apartment, on the first floor with a balcony was found : room 108. This is despite the fact that we had been told that ALL apartments with a balcony were 2 bedroomed. Also when we looked at the description on our booking slip from Hotels.Com we realised that our new accommodation was the size and standard we had paid for.

From the time we moved into 108 we had a delightful holiday. The setting fantastic. It was literally on the doorstep of lovely restaurants & a great little pub. We would go back ,but only if we were guaranteed a good apartment--we would never want even 1 night in our original apartment which was called Oslo. Our advice is check carefully what you are getting as it can either be great or absolutely terrible.

Overall, very good once we'd changed rooms but had to pay more which I wasn't expecting. Had asked for a first floor with balcony overlooking harbour, got ground floor overlooking sea. Staff in reception did what they were asked of, but not very smiley or friendly I'm afraid. Had a problem with electrics but was resolved quickly. Great area near to harbour sea & restaurants. Also a supermarket a 10 min walk away as well as a 10 minute walk right into centre where lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely go back although a little pricey for what you got !

The pool is nice and in a quiet locale.The only bad thing l can say is that the rooms dont insulate noise from other rooms well.All in all its reasonable accommodation for the price and has a few good restaurants attached to marina.

I paid extra for a larger room which the website made look a lot better than the single room but instead I got the larger room which looked like the smaller one in the advert.
Crap room, crusty towels which were as old as the decor. No wifi when it advertised there was and this was very important to me.
The position of the hotel was the only thing going for it.

A Love-Hate Relationship

When we checked into this apartment hotel, our unit was not ready for us. There was one set of towels for the three of us and we had to go ask for more linens for the sofa bed, which we then had to make. The refrigerator/freezer were turned off with the doors standing open. The decor is like a South East Coastal hotel room - white upon white, white appliances, white fixtures, white drapes, white linens. A very hard bed kept me restless all night as well as a nasty tiff plastic waterproof mattress pad - yuk! Don't even ask about the pillow! Poor lighting throughout and the bathroom had no hot water - Luke warm - small bathroom too.
But, then the next morning, I walked into the white reception room/ kitchen, bathed in natural morning light with white lacey drapes dancing in the gentle breeze! Price was very good for an apartment, location not great, NO wifi in the room - that is a deal breaker for me - you decide.

I used this hotel last year ,I booked with another agent.The room then was excellent totally refurbished,clean fresh etc.This was the reason I booked it again.However when we arrived and given our room,we were issued with 4 keys to get access to the apartment,the accommodation was bad,dirty drawer interiors and walls needed painting.We declined this room and after complaints were offered our choice of 3 others,we took the best of the 3,there wasn't chairs for the dining table and no terrace or balcony as offered in the advert.The receptionist advised if using this hotel again request one of the rooms that is named after a European capital city,I had Paris last year.The plus points the location sitting on the marina is good,there are bars ,restaurants in the complex,the Ship Inn has a fun quiz on Wednesday's.You have to pay for parking at 8€ a day.There is a beach 50 metres away.We also had to pay a deposit to get a card for the piscina entry,this was refunded when we left.At certain times of the year the hotel offers cheaper accommodation.

Fantastic location on the marina, close to beach.

Great location, close to all amenities, very clean with nice pool. Staff very friendly, blind and A/C broke during our stay and were fixed within minutes. Nice restaurants with good choice of menus and great entertainment within harbour area. There was a little bit of maintenance work going on during our stay but this did not detract from our enjoyment. 24hr reception/security, vending machines etc. Would be happy to return again.

Location was good, However .......

Have traveled throughout Europe over the years and enjoyed ourselves but this leg of our trip was disappointing in some respects. The photos of the apartment interior were deceptive and made them look a lot better than actual rooms. If you can't walk up stairs, don't choose this place. The apartments were located on the Marina right next to the beach(good). Pool was very nice and not overcrowded. It had two restaurants below that were very good. Owners and waitstaff were very friendly and helpful, but you need to know a little spanish or have someone in your party that speaks it (our grandaughter). Have live entertainment (Music/singing) several nights a week. Was able to walk to grocery, shopping areas and promenade from apartment.
Bad part of apartment:
1 - WI-FI only worked part-time from Apt 612. If you went out into the stairwell or down to the restaurant (open air) eating tables you could get full access (not good if it rains).
2- Electric burner of stove only element that worked, three gas burners did not come on.
3- Washer, did not function properly even after the \"repair guy\" came and \"fixed it\". Only small loads can be done. There is no dryer only a cloths drying table,like an ironing board,with plastic rungs to hang or lay clothing (located on the not large balcony with full size patio table and four side chairs (not in good repair). Cloths may not dry even if left out overnight.
3-Bathroom: Shower head was not permanently fixed to wall, it always spilled water onto floor and the shower curtain was ripped off two of the end rings. Toilet seat was set partially under the pedestal sink.
4- TV was hard to get turned on and only had channels 39-58 that had to be input by pushing the channel up button 38 times to get to the channel location, the remote would not allow number input choice.

Reception staff were somewhat courteous but didn't know much about local sites. One of them suggested the Tourist Office 1/2 mile away on Promenade. You would have to walk because parking on local streets is almost next to impossible finding an open space.

Parking at the hotel is available for $8 Euro/day
Safe Deposit (not in room) is $6 Euro/wk

Would not stay at apartments again. But would eat at restaurants again.

Första billigaste lägenheten var under all kritik bytte upp oss till en två rummare fortfarande hårda sängar utan bäddmadrasser. Lösa kranar i badrum och kök. Trasiga lås i köksskåpet så luckan satt och hängde. Besvärliga trappor upp till 2 etage. Inget för handikappade. Ingen hiss.Annars OK

Hadde den minste og trolig eldste leiligheten for to år siden, men oppgraderte et nivå nå i oktober. Nå har vi hatt det veldig bra med store soverom, gode senger, og god garderobeplass👌.
Kjøkkenet var også helt OK, men stekepannene er \"kule-runde\".

Sjelden å se renholdere, men vi er et voksent par og trenger ikke vaske oftere enn vi selv gjør hjemme.

Smart-TV på stua er en vesentlig forbedring😉.

Ellers ønsker vi å nevne butikken/supermarkedet på hjørnet!
Den er også betydelig oppgradert men nye drivere som virkelig fortjener skryt. De har et enkelt utvalg av dagligvarer, men tilbyr også frokost (prøv English Breakfast👍) eller gjerne en tapas.
Vi var et stort følge et par kvelder (25 personer), og vertskapet vartet opp med en treretters middag. Hun hadde laget både nydelig mat og en oppkvikkende dessert, mens han hjalp til som best han kunne.
Vi hadde ingen forventning om hvite duker, sølvbestikk og dyre viner - derfor ble både vi og vertene særdeles fornøyd med kveldene👏.

NB! De andre restaurantene ved marinaen er veldig bra de også 😉

At vi ligger rette ved marinaen, stranden, og sentrum, er optimalt for vår del.
Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake.

Bra läge men slitet

Bra läge och sängarna var ok. Lägenheten var sliten och det var lyhört. De skulle städa var tredje dag men ingen kom och städade. Vi bodde där 4 nätter. Billigt boende så ändå ok för det priset.

Jättetrevligt lägenhetshotell. Mottagandet när vi kom var toppen. Sen fallerade kompetensen i receptionen.
Möblerna på ena terassen försvann (även på andra ställen på markplan) när jag påpekade det i receptionen var svaret \"Det får man räkna med\" Städning var bra men \"glömdes bort\" ibland. Hoppsan!!! Andra veckan kom mycket barnfamiljer och då gällde inte poolreglerna längre. Ofta omöjligt att vistas i poolen. Men i stora drag ett mycket trevligt ställe med toppensängar och bra parkering.

Super beliggenhet, stille og rolig

Super lokasjon på marinaen med kort gåtur inn til sentrum. Stille og rolig. Ok leilighet med alt du trenger men ganske slitent så en oppussing hadde vært fint. Hyggelig bassengområde med solsenger. Vi hadde i 2.etg med veranda mot basseng og marina og der var det hyggelig å sitte med morgenkaffen. Så at leilighetene på bakkeplan hadde veldig lite uteplass

Bra lägenhet på nedre plan. Väl städat och en bra dusch. Något hårda sängar. Testade aldrig ac, behövdes inte. Poolen bra men poolområdet behöver uppdateras. Liksom utomhus, ligger mycket skräp. Lugnt område. Bra läge nära stranden, barer och restauranger. 10 minuters promenad till centrum.

Los empleados de recepción nos atendieron fenomenal, muy atentos y agradables, pero el apartamento dejaba mucho que desear en limpieza, sobre todo lo más desagradable era un olor a humedad que había en el apartamento, era de planta baja.

The place needs a renovation because it has potential. Cockroaches in the bathroom but that is a common problem in the region.
