Comfortable stay with pleasant staff in quiet location near to motorway.

Rooftop bar only open Friday and Saturday in the off season so wasn’t up there but have enjoyed.

Other guest were in the main male golfers think Clarkson and his mates on tour but were perfectly well behaved so maybe not a fair comparison.

Did not have dinner or breakfast.

Big room nice view, leaky shower and poor quality thin towels. No robes or slippers for spa hotel. Nice rooftop pool not heated. Reception staff friendly, but bar and Pink Cafe staff rude. Poor drinks for the money, unwelcoming attitude. Breakfast choice good - even smoked salmon 1day. Ok stay overall.

The room was clean, but towels were small and poor quality. The staff in bar and rooftop bar were rude whilst staff on reception were lovely. Nice rooftop pool and views - not heated. Ok stay overall - lacking as 4 star no slippers, no bathrobe, only 1 shower gel - no separate shampoo. Conditioner or body lotion. Breakfast selection was ok - apart from avocados that tasted real strange. Got bit congested when busy. Bus goes from.outside hotel that is handy with big supermarket down the road.

Room was great and spacious- actually must be bigger square footage than advertised! I thought it would be tight- i travel a lot and rooms less than 200 sq ft are tight.
TV was very limited. Not a lot for someone who speaks english and no spanish.
Bathroom was big enough- just the shower mixer was spitting cold water at times which was annoying.
Really good value for money though. I would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights based on reviews, however we felt it was in the middle of nowhere. Had to wait an hour for a bus into town. Also I’ve never had to pay for pool towels at any hotel I’ve stayed at around the world but here they charge you 3 Euros and don’t allow you to bring your room towel to the pool. But the worst thing was when we asked the reception about the markets on Friday and they told my husband it was on Saturday not Friday so we missed the markets, we also asked them about the salt lakes and they just gave us a pamphlet and told us to ring them. Most hotels are aware of and know tourist attractions and if they don’t know they will call and find out information for you. But not here and the telephone in your room doesn’t make calls outside so you have to use your own phone and if you’re from outside Europe it’s costly. The breakfast was decent but again at a cost. The hotel itself is modern & has a rooftop pool, though the pool and spa are not heated and were ice cold so not really useable. The hotel does have views to the salt lake but if you want to go and see the lake you have to go into town and get a tour from there. We had one dinner at the restaurant and the food was good. But the misinformation about the markets was very disappointing.

Beautiful clean room, received an upgrade from being a Silver perks holder.
Pool amazing with Pink café and views of the salt lakes.
Enjoyed all my meals in the restaurant along with many cappuccinos and Sangrias!
All staff from Reception to the top floor and lovely ladies cleaning rooms very polite, efficient and friendly.
Would 100% recommend to everyone wanting to enjoy the Torrevieja area.
See you all in 2 weeks!

I was given underground parking for 9 nights free in a spacious carpark, extremly friendly staff, when you walk by any hotel staff always greeted with hello or good day, food at the Coucheron restaurant was great in the evening overlooking the pink lake.
Lovely spacious room too 5 Star.

The hotel is very nice and modern feeling. The room was comfortable and had all the things you might expect. Temperature in the room varied a bit. It had both large opening windows and AC, but still given the temperature outside (~30C during the day when I was there) it was hard to get a good balance with those and avoiding getting bugs and flies coming in. Didn't try any of the food options. It is close to a few shops and restaurants (including a supermarket) and bus stops for Torrevieja (bus every ~30 mins or so).

Very noisy people in adjoining room till 3am! Could not sleep until 4am. Reported to Reception who took action.
No Coffee in room or in hotel until 7pm on our arrival in the afternoon. Was available on open roof but gales blowing at the time!

Property was really clean and room was quite spacious.
Large bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as ‘hot food’ was quite cold!! Choice of cold meats and cheeses also choice of pastries. No tea/coffee facility in the room which was quite disappointing.
Overall, stay was good and would stay again.
Pink bar on rooftop has a spectacular view over the salt lakes and also houses the nice swimming pool.

The room was good. The mattress was uncomfortable, but I was too tired to complain. Only one night there, so no much to experience.

Breakfast was good, and the restaurant seemed nice.

The smell from the close sewage plant was hard to missed but I understood it only works late at night.

Ironing only available at a cost; but maybe the only thing missing all the basics were made available

I enjoyed an amazing October half term break with my daughter.
Room was perfect, two huge single beds that were very comfy, air-con, fridge and large wardrobe. Room spotless, cleaned and towels replaced every day. Terrific views of the salt lakes/pink lagoons. Enjoyed many cocktails at the Terraza Pink Cafe. Staff very helpful - ordered many taxis for us!

Clean and tidy well presented hotel.
Reception staff, bar and cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff not so much unfortunately… and not much on offer for breakfast most days.
Rooftop bar looked stunning but was sadly closed during our visit which was a shame as we would have loved to sit sitting cocktails up there.
Walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms - definitely take earplugs!
Hotel itself is lovely overall just the restaurant wasn’t great…and the rooftop should really be open when sunny as that was our reason for booking this hotel!

Gym had no AC. Parking was EUR 16 per day despite being parking at the front of the hotel available all day. Restaurant wouldn't take bookings until it openned at 8pm then they would only do bookings for the next 30mins despite it being empty. Towel hire is EUR 10 but when we returned the towel at the end of the stay the hotel wouldn't refund without the small slip they gave as a receipt originally. Weren't told we had to keep this. Staff poorly trained and didn't know much about the hotel facilities or how the hotel worked.

Unfortunately with going on a Sunday upstairs bar by pool was closed, and massages all booked for the day and then was closed Monday morning so could not have one before we left. Breakfast was Spanish and English which was very good and staff very helpful and pleasant, would definitely go again, booked a superior double with king size bed and bath with salt lake views, the room was perfect.

Have stayed here a few times since the hotel was built. Staff very friendly. Pool on the roof is lovely although not enough sunbeds. There was a family of 3 who would arrive early and pop their towels on 5 beds ( some in sunshine and some in the shade). They would then go off and not return for 3 hours, have a swim and then go for lunch and come back a couple of hours later. Annoying when other people can't have anywhere to sunbathe. Various people mentioned this to reception staff and the bar staff but nothing was done. I asked if we were allowed to leave our towels whilst we nipped to grab some food, bar staff said no!
The food in the hotel restaurant is beautiful but the menu hasn't changed for at least a couple of years. Wonderful service though.
The sports bar has been moved upstairs now ( which is great for the beautiful views of the salt lake). We ate here twice but the food was cold and stodgy on both occasions. it's a shame but still nice to have drinks.

Came to the hotel for my birthday and to see my family while they were on holiday in the area. Room was very comfortable and a good size. Lovely bathroom also. Food in the restaurant was very good although menu could have been changed each day with a dish of the day on. Breakfast was excellent, couldn't fault it. Staff also excellent. Pink lounge, not impressed. Plastic glasses that had seen better days. If having to use plastic I'm sure a better quality could be used. Female member of staff could not make herself communicate in a civil manner. Male member of staff had no problem and problem we had was sorted immediately by him. Reception staff also excellent. Wifi was dire. Would recommend this hotel if anyone was staying in the area or wanted an oasis away from Torrev.

The DNA Monde is a lovely hotel well situated to access the southern Costa Blanca and Costa Calida.

Easy travel distances to Murcia, Alicante and local beach and golf resorts (recommend hiring a car).

Weather in January was fine much better than UK, with a bit of sun every day.

Must do is a visit to Murcia city, beautiful cathedral, palazos, gardens all served by lovely restaurant's and cafe's.

Beautiful, clean, friendly and comfortable. The DNA Monse has everything you want from a hotel except one large flaw.....the location!!!. Miles from anywhere of interest, town, beach, shops, bars, etc. One bus in and out to the centre of Torrevieja (where you get a connection) every 45 minutes or so or taxis (about €13 every run), walking is an option but its along a dual carriageway about 4.5 - 5 miles to marina. Bar downstairs is nice, clean and well priced for drinks and food but sit outside and you are sitting at the side of a main road. The rooftop bar is much nicer with a good view and a lovely pool, the downside, drinks are twice the price of downstairs, €8 for a spirit and mixer!!! If location is not a problem this hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Spa is reasonable, breakfast is fine and staff are very pleasant and helpful. Just let down by location.

We have stayed here many times and have always found the accommodation to be clean, the staff to be friendly and the position within the area of Torrevieja to be very close to many amenities and beaches subject to having a car. The cost of the room is always very reasonable and whilst the hotel breakfast at 10 euros is maybe a little overpriced for what you get the tostados and coffees in the Sport Bar under the hotel are excellent and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be using the hotel again when we return in July.

AVOID!!!

AVOID!! We are not ones to ever leave a review, good or bad but this has been a nightmare. First of all the air conditioning is not working which is bearable but the big bug bare of mine is to be charged for every single thing in the hotel. We requested an iron, to be told we need to pay €8 per item. We need to pay to use the indoor pool, €22 each time inc flip flops and cap. If you don’t bring your own towel they charge €3 plus €10 deposit. So don’t be fooled with the low price, you’ll end up paying double when you get here on the services which you thought would be included. Location is a 2 mile journey to the main town, approx 30 mins walk. Won’t be back.
