A 3 day stay here with amazing views, small but comfortable rooms. Great value for the price. Small fridge in rooms. Very clean. Great pool area. There are some walkable restaurants (10 mins). Parking for a small fee. Some of the reception and bar staff were friendly.

For one of the cheapest hotels in the area I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. The views from the balcony and pool area are stunning , the pool is lovely , the bar is traditional Spanish and excellent. People says rooms are dated and they are but I don’t like everything looking like ikea , this hotel has character and bags of charm. So nice we booked 2 extra nights , don’t let the negative reviews put you off. Excellent hotel and super clean.

A bit tired

Only here for one night as had an early start to get to airport and needed to be relatively close. Hotel is not really very close - walking - to anything although there is a good Spanish restaurant down the hill. The hotel itself looks very tired and appears to be predominantly for people on the Masa viewing trips

Stayed over following an event based at the hotel. Lovely friendly hotel, amazing food served buffet style for the evening event.
Our stay was marred by the extremely bad mannered bar man we've ever come across. What kind of enjoyment he receives from making a clearly disabled man wait to be served, while he serves others just walking up to the bar, is hard to figure out. This was ob several occasions and he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. Otherwise a great event in a dated but perfect hotel.

Old place, great view, but no direct beach access. Main sandy beach, La Marta, is further east and super crowded. No food until 8:00pm, lots of places along La Mata Beach open all hours. Couldn’t believe the wrinkles in the hallway rug 😳. Very small elevator.

There was an odour throughout the hotel probably caused by overwhelmed drains but it was quite nauseating, air con was not working was hoping the would cleanse the air

Lovely hotel and very good for a 3 star. The balcony had a fabulous view of the Mediterranean. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The room was cleaned well every day. Pool area comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice location overlooking the sea but needs refurb

The hotel has a lovely view overlooking the sea with a nice large pool area. Our room was comfortable with good facilities including a kettle, fridge, air-conditioning and TV although walls are very thin and you could hear people in the rooms next door. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
However, the hotel needs a complete facelift!! It is stuck in the past with bad depressing lighting and brown furniture well past its sell-by date!! The rooms are comfortable but the brown needs to go!! The dining room, which has a beautiful view overlooking the sea, desperately needs a reburb and enter the 21st century!! Even the pool area, which could be lovely, needs a bit of TLC - trees need to be trimmed down and a bar service could be offered - there is a closed cabin which apparently used to be a bar - in high season, I really think it would benefit hotel profits to be kept open!! Saves people from having to up the steps and go inside the hotel to order drinks or bring them from outside!! The beach and rocky coves are literally opposite the hotel, but there are no steps to go down and you have to walk a good 10 minutes along the road to get there. There are a few steps from the pool area, but then they stop and unless you have brought hiking boots, then I wouldn't attempt the walk. Sofas in the communal areas were shabby and the quality of breakfast items could be greatly improved.
With a complete refurb and additions to services, this hotel could be 4 star!!

Great location by the sea, very friendly and efficient staff.this hotel is classed as a 4 star, but the furniture is a bit dated , it does however at to the charm of the property . We didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel , but we prepaid for the buffet breakfast and we would definitely stay there again . We recommend guests at this hotel to definitely pre-pay for the breakfast , you’ll be impressed,

Fantastic views of the sea

First time at this hotel traditionally Spanish. The bathrooms need modernising. Very comfy bed with clean linen change mid week. Restaurant excellent over looking the sea like being on board a ship. Good food but could be a little hotter. Staff friendly and very helpful. Will fefinenstely come again.

Very good hotel if slightly out of the way

This is an excellent hotel with a lovely pool area and outside seating. It has a nice restaurant with a panoramic sea view. Its only disadvantage is that it is around 30 minutes walk from both La Mata and Torrevieja centre (although there is a bus to both which is frequent and runs until late.) There are five restaurants within about a 10 minute walk. If you are going to hire a car and be out and about, or just want to relax by the pool, this is a great place to choose. If you want loads to explore on your doorstep, perhaps not.

Used the hotel as somewhere to stay while visiting family (in hospital). Very convenient to get to, easy parking, good room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Only negative - the walls are very thin and we could hear everything in the room next door.... They seemed to go to sleep very late and get up very early.

We stayed here for one night while visiting relatives for a surprise birthday party. The hotel is ideally situated overlooking the sea and the restaurant boasts amazing views. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel staff were very pleasant. We requested an iron but were told that there were no housekeepers present after 4pm and so we wouldn't be able to have one. I thought this was a bit unreasonable because we couldn't actually check in till 4pm.

Nice hotel with a perfect view over the sea.

You will not find a hotel with better view over the sea. Sitting at your balcony the sea is just below you - so beautifull. Room - absolutely ok. Receptionist - absolutely ok. Waiter this evening (male) not ok. He could not let us in Peace. Stupid jokes, and disturbing us all the time when we were eating with some few Danish Words he had learned. Maybe we will come back later because of the view.

very good 3* hotel on the outskirts of town. Very friendly and welcoming. good pool area and excellent bar and restaurant. The fri/sat buffet is extremly good and very good value. The only downside is the hard beds and very thin walls between the rooms.A good place for a long weekend break.

we went to look at the area for a possible holiday home purchase. This a business man's hotel - it has its own agency for selling holiday/residential homes. Not a place for children, nothing for them to do. Very out of the way from the town centre of Torrevieja. Breakfast buffet was a bit sparce and not enough bacon and eggs (they served about 5 eggs and 5 rashers of bacon at a time and this quickly disappeared!

March 2012 Business visit

The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I visited in March 2012 which was clearly low season and the amount of staff on duty was small. Service at the bar during the evening as a result was quite poor and the bar/restauarant staff were pretty indifferent to service. I risked one bar meal (a pizza) which was pretty poor (cold/tasteless). I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was OK and the breakfast staff a bit more friendly. In summary I pretty much got what I expected for the price. The hotel is in a great location and I guess in the high season the experience would be a lot better.

Bra läge med gångavstånd till stranden. Vi hade en fin balkong men grannarna rökte så vi kunde inte sitta på balkongen eller ha dörren öppen. önskar att man kunde ha rökfria balkonger på delar av hotellet.

Allt finns på rummet. Läget långt från centrum. Personalen verkar trötta på turister. Restaurangen har nästan bara skräpmat och inte spansk mat. Vacker utsikt från rummet och restaurangen. Många av dom som bor här röker vid poolen så där kunde vi inte ligga

Personal var väldigt trevliga på hotellet.
Rummet var stort och rymligt, men aldeles för lyhört. Jag hörde när ett par hade ett vanligt samtal i rummet bredvid, kunde till och med höra när man stoppade in kabel i vägguttaget.

Fantastisk utsikt vid frukost från matsalen.

Veldig lytt på rommet så siste dagen vi hadde fikk vi knapt sove, prøvde å få hjelp av resepsjonisten men ble ikke gjort noe, var støy til klokken 5 om morgenen av nabo rommet. veldige harde senger og frokosten var helt ok.
