I love the firm bed, buffet food is delicious especially the basket of fruits, walking distance to the grocery. Close to the train station and old town as long as you don't mind walking. Snacks and coffee machine open for 24hours is great!

At first, it took me a moment to get used to the reception and dining area being on the 9th floor. Reception were great, provided a quick tour of the facilities and explained what was available during my stay. The view from the 9th floor restaurant was awesome. Hot shower, easy to use. Loved the short but comfy stay.

Very good choice in a city we really enjoyed. Very good bedrooms, excellent top floor lounge/ eating area and breakfast choice. Only down points were the sometimes frustrating lifts, slightly steep prices for overnight parking and a disappointing lack of response to pre arrival communication (in person at the hotel was good). But would generally recommend strongly.

It was great!

It was in a great location, about 3 miles walking from the beach and a mile from the city center, but there was a bike path that ran in both directions, making all things easily accessible. There was a rooftop common area with snacks and drinks all day included in the price of the stay, as well as many other amenities that made this hotel worthwhile.

The hotel is rather quirky on first impression, however it was really nice place to stay. Everything seemed to immaculately clean and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The establishment appeared to be a bit out from the centre but in reality wasn’t. The cathedral could be reached in less than a 15 minute walk and the T1 bus to Biarritz stopped outside. This ran to Biarritz every 15 minutes and the fare was only €1.5. The breakfast were excellent and good quality. There is a small range of food in the evening but ‘small plates’ are available in the club. More substantial meals would necessitate a walk to the centre, although there is a food hall nearby that offers a wide range of food styles. We found this perfectly adequate and had a very good atmosphere. In conclusion we were very impressed with the OKKO offering that were previously unaware of and will definitely consider these hotels in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay in Bayonne. The OKKO was an excellent choice and I’ll definitely be returning! I particularly liked the quirky/futuristic bathroom which was well equipped and had an excellent shower! I felt very comfortable during my visit. The overall standard of the hotel and facilities was 5 Stars! The added bonus was the location of the hotel which was close to the city centre and conveniently located for the excellent public transport links!

Amazing location in Bayonne. Very walkable to the Old Town, Cathedral, market, etc. we parked off site a block away and overnight parking was only 4 euros.

Best part of the hotel is their club lounge on the 8th floor. Accessible to all guests, it has spectacular views of the city, river and. Cathedral spires. Very large space stocked with drinks and snacks. We worked remote from here during our stay and it was very comfortable and well equipped for remote working.

We will definitely be back if in Bayonne again

Such a unique concept of a hotel with the reception on the 9th floor with a large lounge called the Club, which offers a 360° view of Bayonne. Staying here give you access to the club which offers complimentary beverages and snacks, open 24h. My room was rather small, but the design is Zen and so unique, using space in a very ingenious manner. The bathroom is like something out of a sci-fi movie, so cool! Best rain shower EVER! Beautifully located along the l'Adour River and walking distance to the old Bayonne. Next to MOMA food court. One of the Best Hotel I've stayed in! I have nothing negative to say except I think the batteries in the TV remote where probably due to be changed.

A Design Dream

Initially we were not told that we should reserve for parking, so finding where we were to park was confusing; however, the lot was fine and we were charged 2 euros! The hotel is a design dream. Crazy that you can see into the bathroom, but it works. The club on the top floor is fun with a great view of the city. The staff is very patient and friendly.

Good Hotel with excellent 24h services and \"the Club\" buffet access, but I think it's designed for business only, not leisure, with a maximum of 2-3 nights stay due to room configuration.
Positive: Nice and stylish hotel.Very comfortable beds. Great club perks(drinks and snacks). 10-15 min walk to the city center. Great view from the dining/ club area.

Negative: It's pretty noisy, being next to a very busy roundabout (although I stayed on the 6th floor you could hear the traffic with the window closed). Good room size, but the fancy design makes it not that practical. Breakfast it's very modest with new COVID measures.

We stayed here for a night whilst on a road trip from Spain to France. Couldn’t have asked for a better stopover hotel experience. Breakfast was awesome. Be sure to book your parking space well in advance - as their parking was full by the time we arrived - therefore we had to park on the street.

Good boutique hotel, but road work around

Really nice inside, good staff, club room with food and drinks is superb. the view is pleasant. Rooms are a bit small overall, but nicely setup. Once issue is that there is road work around the town center / by the hotel, so hard for any GPS to arrive easily / and park around. Not a huge issue but I would have expected to be told before / or at the time of booking.
It should get finalized soon as I understand

Modern, lovely views, beautiful rooms, very helpful staff. The breakfast was served until midday, which was wonderful when you have four young adults with you! We especially loved the fresh bread, meats,and the do-it -yourself eggs!
The hotel was a 15-20 min walk to the station and you were within walking distance of all the attractions within Bayonne. The tourist information center was just five minutes away. Bayonne is truly a wonderful place to visit, with its fantastic bars and restaurants, historic Cathedral, Botanical gardens and wonderful shopping! The Mona Lisa Italian restaurant is a must go to restaurant. Fantastic Pastas and Pizzas!

Everything about the hotel was lovely – especially Le Club! From the beautiful breakfasts to the evening aperitivo (and all the snacks in between), there was never a moment I didn't feel at home. Not to mention, the ENTIRE staff is amazing! Every detail was spot on. If only every hotel was this dedicated to customer service – and customer happiness – the world would be a much better place!

Thank you to everyone who made my stay at the Hotel OKKO absolutely perfect. When I come back to Bayonne, there's no other place I'll stay than the OKKO! No questions asked!

Haven for exhausted guests

OKKO tries very very hard to be funky and cool... and succeeds, despite guests like me who aren't at all funky and cool. We had an exhausting 3 days/2 nights in Bayonne, following the Tour de France, plus we hadn't realised there was a massive Basque festival in town. And hot hot hot. So the comfy room was great to get back to, and one evening we had the free tasty snacks as dinner which was a lifesaver - too tired to go into town for dinner. Generous breakfast, too. Now, that weird bathroom... no, I don't know why they did that. And I got annoyed with the big bathroom door which swings shut when you're running round getting ready to go out.
Bus stops into town and to Biarritz nearby In Boul de BAB; no 8 bus to Biarritz seafront, where we killed a happy couple of hours before getting the 14 bus from Biarritz sea front to the airport. Quickest and cheapest airport transfer I've ever done! And Place to Basques bus station 5 minutes walk from OKKO.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.

Sets a standard for 4* hotels

Their quirky intro booklet says they are aiming to set a new standard for 4* hotels. They deliver - I hope their rivals start to respond.
Great staff who showed us round the facility. The living room includes free snacks which were very substantial early evening and included a free drink. Free soft drinks and coffee 24 hours!

The room was very good too nice facilities, free films, slight strange bathroom pod but good bed and nice touches like a apple connection to a speaker on the phone.
Massive fans of this hotel chain we will look out for them!

it is a brandnew concept with reception at top floor. There is a lobby free food and drinks from 5-9.30PM.First wine or beer is free next is paid.Room is not amazing large but is ok with modern bathroom. Breakfast is ok but more veggies would be appreciated. Shortage of parkspaces.

Good Value in Bayonne!

No complaints at the price. Modern in design with a great bathroom, the room was very small but functional, and the free use of the lounge area on the 9th Floor means you have plenty of space to sit and have a drink and relax. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early start the next morning so we couldn't comment on that, but we CAN comment on just how warm, friendly and helpful the staff are. The hotel seems to be in a strange location, but if you go around the back of the hotel to the river, turn right and walk through 2 small parks you will be right in the heart of everything Bayonne has to offer. Nice hotel, nice staff, nice town, nice price. I would recommend this place for sure.

This new hotel is a great find. Very reasonable price for services received. Location is excellent, staff speaks English, room was always clean, club facility is great for snacks anytime, breakfast and evening food. This will definitely be our hotel of choice in Bayonne. Would recommend booking a premium room as the extra space is well worth the additional cost.

I stayed in the Hotel for three nights and everything was good apart from one issue, the receptionist gave our room card to another couple who were checking in, I contacted the reception as i was not happy, had i not been in the room any of my possessions could have been stolen, security breach i feel, apart form this the rest of the stay was great, the club is a fantastic idea and i’ll Definitely stay with them again.

Excellent concept: the club is a great idea and we spent a lot of time in there. Great that you can have a drink on the house, snack (or even replace evening meal if had a late lunch as the choice was wide and everything was delicious. ( lovely bread, deli snacks, salad, cheese, ham - all excellent & replenished regularly) Breakfast was similarly excellent with delicious bread & amazing jam! The whole set up was great - the only downside was that the room was quite small for a three night stay but very clean and well sound - proofed. Not so keen in the bathroom arrangement as it didn't allow for much privacy!
Overall though a fabulous stay in a fantastic hotel; excellent value, lovely staff & we'd definitely return.

We had an excellent time at OKKO hotel in Bayonne. Room design is really cool as are the lobby and lounge. They designed the lounge as a big place, part living room, part kitchen / restaurant where food (incl. the Aperitivo in the evening) is served. Value is great as guests have access to b'fast in the morning, snack food all day, and to the more substantial Aperitivo in the evening. Hotel was within walking distance of the city center. We booked a premium room that was a bit more spacious - their rooms tend to be small but they encourage folks to hang out in the lounge. Not all their innovations work perfectly (bathroom for instance) but the concept is great, as are the value and the staff.

Great Hotel, not so good for restaurants or eating places as it is located on the side of the river and on a busy road that gives access to housing estates. Only there for 1 night on business so didn't have time to look around in too much detail and the hotel provides 'free' snacks so didn't impact too negatively - just an observation

The club is a great idea : a very pleasant space to relax and liked that it is on the top floor, liked the help yourself to coffee etc and the snacks and a drink in the evening. Breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. Bathroom was a little small but plenty of space in the shower. Not far to walk to the centre. If you have a car would recommend paying for the car park. Good value for what you get -definitely different and good for being so. We would recommend.

No parking available upon arrival. Very bad mobile reception in the building.
Door to bathroom didn’t close (kept on falling open) which makes the see through design of it even less private. TV didn’t work at first but was fixed. No Netflix app to link your own netflix to, only TV channels which feels pretty outdated.
Sauna: you need to book a timeslot of 15 mins on the form near the reception area.

Lo peor es que la recepción esta en el noveno piso y es una locura el ascensor y la jabitacion mucha .odernez y poco espacio, , en cambio el desayuno y eel sitio perfecto
