The property is small, charming, and well situated for sightseeing. While there is no street parking available, the hotel offers access to a parking garage next door for approximately €25 per night. If you are driving within the city center, be aware that a daily traffic permit may also be required. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with an excellent location.

We stayed for 5 nights and would choose this hotel again.
everything was splendid.
The room was newly renovated, clean, with a comfy bed. The front desk manager was very helpful.
Breakfast was not awailable, but there is a nice cafe 2 min. walk from the hotel with everything you need.
There are no elevator and the stairs to the hotel can be hard to climbe.
There were renovation in progress in other rooms during our stay. They will be splendid.
The hotel is quiet, in the pedestrian street, with everything nearby.
We can recommend!!

Property was spotless and as seen in site pictures.We arrived ahead of scheduled and were able to check in.Location is on one of the main streets , many restaurants and bars on your doorstep though we prefer to find something more traditional where the locals go rather than the tourist spots on the main streets.
Given the location the room was remarkably quiet at night once restaurants closed.

I was a man traveling alone. I wanted a simple hotel in the center of Palermo. This hotel met my needs exactly. It was convenient, clean, the room was excellent, and I was very satisfied. There was no elevator, but I knew that going in. When you stay at a property at this price, You cannot expect it to have everything you want. Very satisfied, and I would stay here again.

The rooms need renovations and some very simple fixing-up. For example our window only had half of the drapes. For some reason the other half of the window didn't?? not great when the sun rises and you want a dark room! It's also a very noisy par of town with cars a people making a LOT of noise at all hours.

The room was very small, but overall B&B is well maintained, the staff is very polite and helpful. The street is in the center, but not very pleasant, lot of restaurants and opened stands, lot of tourists, it looks like not organized market. Convenient location because you don't need a car to visit Palermo landmarks.

Lovely Romina was so helpful, making recommendations of restaurants / areas to visit and reservations for us.

Very comfortable beds, nice and quiet even when the location is at a very crowded restaurant street. It is also good to have almost everything just around the corner.
Be aware of all the steps both outside and inside the hotel, no elevator.
Not so easy to get info about the key when we had a late arrival and also very poor breakfast the first morning since they did not know we booked with breakfast at all.
Very confusing for me and my daughter.
In all a quite good little hotel with just a few rooms.

We had a terrible experience. We were given a room knowingly that central AC does not work in that room. We had to sleep first night in 90 degree heat. When asked to fix the AC we were told it was working fine for last guests but we were immediately asked to use the fan in the closet as if they knew.
We had to fight to get our room changed next day as at first they told us there is no room available. Second room had a separate split AC unit and NO FAN in the closet :( It happens that sometimes things break but this whole incident seemed more forced on us. We are sure there are other rooms like this as their central AC does not work.
Did not get any credit for the first night from host or hotels.com.

A lovely small hotel in a central location. The welcome and local advice given was much appreciated by us, as was accessing the room early. It is hardly possible to get a better location in Palermo although there was some street noise on a Saturday night. The bedroom and bathroom had plenty of space and we loved the cute decor touches. A filling breakfast was supplied with local pastries. We would stay here again.

Amazing base to explore the city from.

Dimora Bellini is a lovely place to stay right in the middle of the city. The location is wonderful for getting to a lot of the tourist sites in Palermo and also for those off the beaten track. The location also meant it was possible to make multiple expeditions in a day and return to the hotel with shopping or just to refresh from the city heat.

This means you have the associated sounds of a busy market street and traffic till late in the night.

The staff are very helpful, giving time to help plan my days and giving directions which was very much appreciated as I am not an Italian speaker. This made me able to use my time in the city better. Staff were also reachable on the phone and were able to provide luggage storage after checking out.

The breakfast was always filling and delicious with a menu to choose from daily. One can eat in the shared area or your room which all beats getting misunderstood by the local restaurant staff.

Room service was good with fresh towels and toiletries provided regularly.

Best hotel/B&B I've ever stayed in. Recently renovated, the craftsmanship and decor are fabulous. The hostess Valentina was wonderful and patient and helpful. Comfort and quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. From the outside street view it does not look like much, but inside it's fantastic. Located on Via Maqueda in the tourist center of Palermo. If I ever go back to Palermo .. I am staying here again, no question.

I try check in at 8pm but the owner was not there ....also dont speak English.Finally i get into after 3-4 phone calls and head to my small but cheap room.The day after i complain about my \"smell\" into my room and they assure me that will take care of it.The second night was even worst....smell was TERRIBLE in my room....BTW the room they gave me was into main lobby-area but a small single room into lower floor ...so noisy as well from the bar across the street

A Hidden Gem in Dimora Bellini

While we did have a slight snafu at check in, it was nothing that couldn't be overcome. We arrived after hours but our rooms were labeled with keys on the front desk for us. We were given an incorrect key to one of our two rooms. We called the managers and our problem was resolved. They told us where to get the correct key and we were fine.

Great location, great cleanliness, very friendly managers. They offered a very small breakfast, but we aren't breakfast people so that is of no concern. Overall a great hotel. Definitely a hidden gem that we would stay at again and again.

The place is in an excellent location on the main pedestrian road and close to most of the main sights. We walked everywhere. The room is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good. The hosts were excellent and accommodating. The cleaning of the room was not very good and the drain was blocked even after having informed them. Please be aware that there are many steep steps to climb and there is no lift.

We had the best time staying here with the help of our new friend Marco!! He is the best host. Great breakfasts with cafe latte and espresso! The hotel is in a prime location near many sights with shops and great restaurants nearby. The rooms are well styled with efficient AC. Note that there are stairs to access the hotel from the street and no elevators. Definitely recommend for your stay.

Dimora Bellini was a great B&B in the heart of Palermo. It was really close to all of the main sights, and conveniently located on Via Maqueda. The host was great, helping us to drop our bags early, and giving us great advice on what to see, where to eat (and where not to!) and which of the markets were worth visitng. The room was really well appointed with everything you would need for your stay, and the breakfast was great. A real tranquil place to stay in the bustling heart of Palermo

If you value your sleep, avoid.

We stayed for one night on a Friday. The hotel is in a good central location and the room was decent. After dinner and drinks we returned to the sound of thumping rap music, shrieking and shouting from the property next door. The walls were as thin as paper. The party continued until 3:30 in the morning. There were no staff in the building to complain to as they do not stay on site, only a mobile phone number is provided. We sent a message but received no reply. It was the worst night I've ever spent in a hotel. I would not recommend it.

Don't judge the book by the cover

We had a great stay at Dimora Bellini. The building exterior is not encouraging at all. But inside it is very nice and charming, small but very cute. Our host Angela was a sweetheart, nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, although in a tiny spot. The room is a bit on the tight side, but very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The neighborhood looks rundown, but it's what Palermo's old town looks like. Next door to the hotel there's a great wine bar, Enotequa, and a place selling Arancine (fried rice balls) that is always crowded.

For the music lovers, there's the additional attraction that Bellini, the composer himself, lived in the place.

One word of caution: traffic in Palermo is chaotic. The hotel street is closed to cars, which demands a big detour through tiny alleys to get to the hotel's door. Make sure to call in advance if you're driving. Nearby parking is not difficult, though, surprisingly.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, mitten in der City von Palermo, sodass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Bars bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Der Check-in mit Romina war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war sauber und besonders das große Badezimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, empfiehlt es sich, die empfohlene Parkgarage zu buchen. Sie ist bewacht und nur etwa zwei Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt, was sehr praktisch ist.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Wohnung ist recht hellhörig. Morgens hört man teilweise die Motorräder auf der Straße vorbeifahren oder auch mal Geräusche aus der Nachbarschaft.

Insgesamt aber eine sehr gute Unterkunft mit toller Lage für einen Aufenthalt in Palermo.

Med bil är det lite svårare då man inte får köra med privatbil på gatan utanför.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce charmant petit hôtel idéalement situé en plein cœur de Palerme. Tout se fait à pied : les visites, les restaurants, les cafés, les glaciers et même le théâtre à proximité. Le personnel est particulièrement agréable, disponible et toujours de bon conseil.

Perfekt beliggenhet, flotte store rom med gode senger. Er greit å være klar over at det ikke er heis der, men litt krevende trappegang til høy 2etg. om du har tung koffert. Hotellet er ikke bemannet på kveld/ natt, men oppleves som svært trygt likevel.
