I booked a triple room because there were two of us (senior friends), so I requested separate beds; upon arrival, however, there was just a queen bed and a sofa. Sleeping on the sofa wasn't an issue, so I explained my booking details and asked for sheets to use on it. The next day, the extra sheets had been removed, and when I asked for them again, I was told I would be charged 30 euros per day because the queen bed could accommodate two people. I reiterated the terms of my booking, but to no avail—even though it was listed as a triple room. It was a very unpleasant experience, and everything is documented in the messages via Expedia; they clearly lack an understanding of hotel hospitality.

The accomodation was relatively easy to find. Down a busy pedestrian street with heaps of restaurants- which is a blessing and a curse due to people traffic and restaurant staff constantly asking you to come in and eat.

Reception was not manned when we arrived but it did not take him long to appear - I suggest really communicating your exact eta.

Clean property, only stayed one night but it had everything we needed. Aircon definitely works a charm!

Great location, walking distance to almost everywhere. It has a lift, however if the room is in Mezzanine floor, the luggage’s need to be dragged up n down the stairs. There is no staff, need to contact them on WhatsApp. No parking available and cars can’t come to the street. Has good air con, it is very noisy as it is in the heart of night life. The rooms were clean but the showers had some mould and the room was very small for 2 people. Overall, it was good.

The room is very nice. There are restaurants all around. However, there are a couple of things travelers should be aware of. In the historic section of Palermo, where this property is located, there is no public transportation. Be prepared to walk for miles to see any sites. No cars are allowed on the street where the property is, so taxis will need to pick you up or drop you off on a cross street like Villa Bari. There is no management on the property unless you make an appointment with them. If you request something, they do respond and are very helpful, but this must be done on WhatsApp.

The location of Suite Quaroni was great however thats about it. The room is not very soundproof both to the busy streets outside and within the hotel itself. Our room was right next to the front desk, so we felt this compromised privacy. On that same topic, there was a light fixture broken/missing with just wires sticking out of the wall on when we arrived the first day. Despite having our \"Do Not Disturb\" Sign on the outside of the door at all times, by time we got back to our place the third day, the light fixture had been miraculously fixed and our \"Do Not Disturb\" sign had been moved to the inside of our door, which we noticed after waking up to a knock from housekeeping. Essentially, they had gone in our room without us knowing and our \"Do Not Disturb\" sign was on, and did not say anything.

As for customer service, we were given the contact for Angelo for checkout. We inquired about early check out and getting a ride to the airport via their advertised \"24h Shuttle Service\". (Which does not exist by the way), Angelo told us Francesco would call us and explain everything, however Francesco did not call us, but rather ended up knocking on our door right when we woke up to talk to us (Do not disturb sign still on). He also asked us at midnight if he could come check the room on our last night for check-out, which I have never heard of with any other stay.

I would not recommend for sake of lack of privacy.

The hotel is ok, but their parking service is a nightmare. They told us they would register our car for the restricted zone, but they clearly didn’t because I just received a heavy fine. The hotel has ignored all my emails, calls, and Expedia messages. To make matters worse, someone else was parked in our 'reserved' spot one night. Truly terrible customer service once they have your money.

One of the best places we stayed at in Sicily. Loved how modern and clean our room was. The soap, extra pillows and hot water made a big difference--something you don't normally think about. The bed was also very comfortable. Francesco was super helpful and friendly with our check-in and parking inside their garage. Driving thru the narrow alley streets of Palermo is definitely not for the faint of heart. I will caution that it is on the main street with tons of restaurants and is closed off to normal traffic. It's both a bonus and negative. Great for convenience of getting to all the major sites and very easy to walk around, but can be noisy at 3am when the drunks are outside your window chanting. The place does try very hard to be soundproof, but not their fault when drunks just get out of hand outside. We still enjoyed our stay very much!

very clean room, right in the middle of the activity on a busy street with lots of restaurants but room was quiet from that noise. we did hear the people above us they were quite loud. never saw anyone at the desk. wifi didn't work the first 4.5 days but at least tv did have English channels.

very dark in the hallway unless you know to turn on the light switch in the hall. it will auto turn off after a few minutes. also, entrance is just off the main Street there is a little walkway between 2 restaurant and in that walkway is the entrance.

The location was outstanding, situated in the heart of the attractions with excellent restaurants just steps away. The rooms are arranged around a courtyard, ensuring a quiet stay free from street noise, and the air conditioning provided additional comfort. Communication with the property manager was excellent, with prompt and helpful replies, and we greatly appreciated being granted early access to our room upon arrival. Overall, a highly enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return.

This place is very good you are close to all the main attractions, restaurants and shopping. I would not recommend bringing a car to this location as getting to the place you are driving down very tight streets and the spots in the parkade are very tight. The parkade is locked and have workers on site which felt very safe. The only thing that I would recommend to the hotel is the check in process, we live out of Country and our cell phones were not working to call and not having someone come to the front door to meet was a little stressful. The hallways were dark and didn’t know where the light switches were. Once taken to our room everything was great.

Overall would not stay here again. There was zero english spoken which made communication very difficult (i.e. where to go, what floor it was on, etc.). Upon entering the apartment it smelled of sewage. After realizing that just opening the window and turning on the fans didn’t help with the smell; as well as our drains not working properly, we let the housekeepers know there was a problem as they were the only ones we saw throughout our stay. There was again no communication that anything was fixed or anyone tried to fix it but instead came back to find a bottle of what we assume to be some sort of drain cleaner and a dirty toothbrush on the counter. The smell was more manageable that night, but quickly came back the next morning again.

Suite quaroni is smack in the middle of all the Palermo hustle and bustle. Fabulous location for access to all that Palermo has to offer.

Our room had a small terrace overlooking a courtyard. The room was fantastic and very clean with great shower facilities.

Unfortunatelt,thier was no one available at desk to check out @7am so all we could do was leave the room keys at the desk.

I would definitely look at suite quaroni for our return visit.

This is a bare-bones property which has no element of service -- but it is very conveniently located and properly maintained. That said, the maid ate the food that we were told was free (turns out they charge handsomely for snacks laid out on the counter) and we had to dispute that. Also the entry to the \"suite\" is dark and a bit sketchy, late at night. It is centrally located, which is great, but I would not stay there again.

We stayed in the tower, room 105. Overall, Simone was awesome. Very helpful with check in, airport shuttle, etc. The location is super ideal, with easy walking access to all of the historic district.

Unfortunately our room we was way too hot the first night and we were very uncomfortable.

When we walked in, the thermostat read 26.7 Celsius (~80 F). We turned on the AC to the max setting, but it sits under a desk so the cold air doesn’t circulate. Throughout the night the room got down to 25.1 C (77 F) so we were baking all night. The window didn’t help cool down either. We wanted to cancel our stay that same morning and find a new hotel due to the sweltering heat of the room but the administration refused to issue a refund.

Instead they gave us 2 fans, which should be a fixed staple in that room, to help cool things down. And that worked well. We stayed the rest of the time and had the opportunity to sleep at night. Outside the sweltering heat of the first night, everything else was fine.

I would highly encourage Suite Quaroni to leave at least 1 fan in that room at all times, otherwise it will feel like an oven during your stay, particularly in the hotter months of the year.

The “Suites” were more of a tiny room in what was probably a converted townhouse that was made into a 6 room “suites.” The “suites” were super small and the walls paper thin. The people above us were so loud, it was nuts. The area is in the center of all the sites and it’s filthy and full of graffiti and trash. The only night spot for this place was the good shower and Simone who greeted us was a very nice person and helped arrange transport to the airport. If you like the crowds and being centrally located then this could be the place for you. It was very clean just not for us.

Driving into and exiting the property can be a bit difficult with navigating the tiny streets.

The property is not at the address 290 Via Maqueda, it is hidden in a courtyard entrance next to BIGA Genio e Farina. Be wary of this. Amazing location right in the heart of the action, amazing cheap places to eat right on the door step. Good bus connections on Via Roma nearby and walkable to all the markets and sights. Only issue was that the aircon was not cool enough and the property does not give milk as part of its kettle drink set up. Use the buzzer and video contact when checking in out of hours. Prefer full time reception.
