Wonderful location just steps from the Quinto Canto streets and easy walking distance to everything that you likely want to see in Palermo. Room was fine - nothing special, but overall clean. View was to interior courtyard, so not much to see. I felt safe which was important to me, and loved being in the heart of the old city.

The room was very comfortable and the shower twice the size of the usual in Europe. It was quiet with interior courtyards which made for a relaxing stay. It is easy to find at the intersection of Palarmo's main streets and surrounded by restaurants and stops.

Excellent central location. However, although the hotel arranged airport taxi transfer, the taxi refused to take us up to the hotel and dropped us off about 200 yds away with 3 heavy suitcases to pull through static hindering crowds yet charged us €70. One suitcase wheel snapped ff on the uneven paths & high pavements. The rooms were cramped but clean. There was no shower gel provided, only minimal hand wash. Although there was a kettle, only 2 paper cups & 2 teabags were provided which were not replaced when used unless specifically requested. There was no complimentary water supplied neither on arrival nor during the stay. We booked 2 rooms for our family but were positioned some distance apart and on separate floors. Overall a strange set up for a hotel establishment and not particularly welcoming nor comfortable. I would not stay again.

The location cannot be beat. Walkable every where. The hotel is OK. It gets the job done but it does feel dated.

We booked the family suite and it was literally an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room and family room. Larger than a lot of apartments in USA for sure.

Overall good, but know what to expect.

An interesting old building which must have been a palazzo in the past. Very conveniently situated. The whole stay was, however, marred for us by the main lift in the property ( the only one up to the first floor, which could otherwise only be reached up 2 long flights of marble steps) being out of order for the entire week, making things very difficult for my 88-year old mother, as our bedrooms were on the second floor.

From check-in to check-out…superb service. Asked about a taxi for airport departure during checkin. Receptionist called our room after we had unpacked and asked if we’d like her to book the 04:00 taxi. Done. Needed an extra key as I was not touring one day. Done. On the day of departure 03:45, the cheerful receptionist met us at the elevator to help us with our luggage. Done. There’s in-house restaurant and spa. A gourmet prepared meal in a highly tourist area. We didn’t have time for spa experiences but reasonably priced. Yes, we would definitely stay again!

This hotel was a fantastic find! In the heart of Palermo within walking distance to almost everything you would want to see or do. Short walk to the bus/train station for day trips or excursions. Elevator was accessible. Room was large and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of shopping and eating just steps outside of the door. Perfect location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I'm 80 years old and 5 feet tall. The room I was in had a toilet on a 8 inch stand. I had to tip toe to get on it and had to slide off it. The make up mirror was placed about 7 feet up on the wall. Enough said.
The average room is like a college dorm. The only saving grace on this is the location.

My gf and i just spent a few nights here and had the most amazing romantic fun time! The location is perfect. The room was immaculate (and we're picky), the food everywhere was Amazing! Great room svc and service from the staff at the bar and restaurant was top notch! My gf especially wanted to thank Davide for being so helpful and patient with her Italian but all of the staff was awesome! Strongly recommend!

The property is located in a great location, very walkable. If you have a car to access the hotel you will need to enter a pedestrian zone the hotel will post validate your car to avoid fines.
The staff is wonderful. Very attentive and kind staff.
Not sure the property is a four star hotel. The rooms are very basic more like a college dorm. The hotel lacks comfort there is no sitting area other than the basic hotel room.

Right off the Quattro Canti, you can’t get closer to the center, yet the hotel feels separate when you get to your room. A portion of it is a 17th century structure with a modern extension. Clean and bright, the staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a balcony looking out at the attached Church. It’s in a buys section of town but the noise was almost nonexistent when on the balcony.

Shopping. Siteseeing. The station. All within walking distance. Palermo is a feast of the senses and Quinto Canto is in the middle of the action. Very happy way to start our Sicily vacation.

Wonderful stay in the center of Palermo

This was our first stay at Quintocanto Hotel and Spa, and it surpassed our expectations. Beautifully designed and maintained to the highest level. The buffet breakfast was just perfect and included a fresh daily Sicilian Cassata of the highest quality. And after touring Palermo, it was a real treat to go to their spa and relax in their jacuzzi. Overall, this hotel was definitely worth it, and my daughter and I look forward to returning on our next visit to Palermo. Grazie to the staff and their management.

Unacceptable noise on the top floor.

The owner of the hotel should try to sleep in the room we were given. It was like being in an engine room or on a factory floor. Industrial air conditioners on the other side of every thin wall and above the roof.

Staff were charming and proud of their recent expansion, and the location is right in the middle of the main pedestrian intersection. The room had previously been an apartment—spacious and clean. Without the noise it would have been just fine—perhaps other rooms below the top floor are.

But it’s unacceptable to offer a room that noisy to guests, period, at any price.

This was our second time staying within a two time, they were nice to let us leave a suitcase be hide until we got back from our cruise: our room wasn’t ready until 3:00 , we reserve a jr suite but didn’t get that but they gave us a up grade to a executive suite; very nice : the next morning my husband went to get breakfast early before our long trip home and the manager told him it wasn’t included : but it was all suites has breakfast included plus I had it in writing so that let a bad feeling with us; the location is excellent and the bellhops personal was excellent including the wait staff :

Excellent location -- everything really interesting is within walking distance. The hotel is at the crossing of the 2 most charming streets in Palermo and no car traffic. Many charming bars and restaurants arevery close by.
Rooms are a bit small. Our window had a view to a wall about 3 feet from our window.

Quintocanto Hotel & Spa was overall a disappointing experience. On the plus side, the hotel is well positioned, and the courtyard and the stairs are beautiful (it's a former, renovated Palazzio). From our room, we could see the neighboring monument.
For the rest, we went from disappointment to disappointment. First we arranged beforehand for the hotel to book us a taxi from the airport. They forgot. Then the room was extremely small, and very noisy (the noise of the neighbours shower, the construction site next door, the cleaning teams, etc). We got a massage at the spa but learnt we needed to pay and book beforehand to get access to the swimming pool, steam room and sauna.
Overall, I don't think this is a 4 star experience, unfortunately.

I had a room overlooking the patio courtyard and a loud party was going on with many drunks singing and yelling until after midnight. Did not sleep well. Construction going on next to my room early in morning with lots of hammering. Next day changed to a back room which was much better. Do yourself a favor if you are a light sleeper, get a room off the patio courtyard. Nice breakfast with great blood orange juice and fresh fruit.

Excellent location! You’re 10 yards off the convergence of the 2 main streets of the historic center, a 10-15 minute walk to the furthest main sites (Teatro Massimo, Royal Palace) of the historic center. The staff were excellent and the breakfast very good.
The room was ... odd. Spacious but no dresser, and the “closet” was pull out metal shelves. So we put our cases on them - a little awkward. The chairs were stylish but unusable. Good rain shower but one-person bathroom. We were in a “new room” so other rooms may be different. The hotel is a series of buildings so there could be different configurations. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Btw, husband had a massage and it was great, and the discount made it a smoking deal.

The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, nice, but not a lot of choice. The rooms had everything we needed and the bed was large and comfortable. The postion was excellent right in the historical centre and the bustling streets.

Wifi was pretty slow and flakey.

The spa was very nice, a little pool, steam room and saune and pleasant areas to sit and relax. There was 6 of us and we had it to ourself which was perfect.

Overall we were very impressed and very pleased we picked this hotel.

Hotel is centrally located near to shops, restaurants and local attractions. The rooms we had (an Executive Suite and a Family Suite) were enormous! There were four of us and we could have all easily fitted in one these rooms instead of booking two rooms! The Family Suite even had a second bedroom with a king bed whilst the Executive Suite with its twin beds also had two day beds. The only let down for me was the breakfast which did not really have much selection. The only hot dish you get is scrambled eggs. The rest were cold cuts (which weren’t a lot) and some breads, cakes, cereals and fruits. The fruit juices were very artificial tasting and not very nice at all. If they could improve on their breakfast offering, I would give it five stars. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Location is one of few strong points. Our room was very loud from 2 directions, both the street noice wihch last past 3am and from the restaurant in the hotel below in the courtyard. The shower unit was cheap, flimsy and tiny (and I'm not a wide bodied person). A worst of all for me, there was no bath tube to soak the bones after a day of sight seeing. The breakfast was poor by good European hotel standards, slow setting up the heated items on the one morning we needed to get breakfast went it opened and it was understaffed. The servers tried hard but management seems to be disinterested in helping keep things organised

I have got an upgrade for a huge family suite. Everything was excellent. Personell very kind and very centric location. The hotel is in a traffic limited area so it is not easy to reach by car. If you arrive by bus or train keep in mind you have to walk around 1 km. It would be convenient to arrange a shuttle service. Price is of course not cheap.

All round poor experience.

We arrived to be told our room was not available as booked due to a “leak”. I doubt this was true , they probably just over booked. So we got the smallest and stuffiest room at the back of the hotel. With a tiny double bed and thus not a good sleep. The hotel did offer us free dinner but of course the original room would have been a better outcome.

A Pleasant Stay

A fantastic location within walking distance of everything within the old town. Comfortable clean room with a couple of nice old architectural features. The spa access was not included with the hotel room rate (which we had assumed it would be) having said that it was our honeymoon and they gave us exclusive use of the whole spa for an hour one evening which more than made up for this. Valet parking was quick and easy, perfect in a very busy city. All in all, a nice place.
