I enjoyed my stay of nearly 3 weeks , I needed somewhere I could feel safe , comfortable and with access to my Dentist -which was in the center of Cebu metro . I was pleased with the air con was excellent -could be adjusted up or down and I was keen to have with the seasonal temperatures / high humidity . I traveled by taxi and did a fare bit of walking , food was good a fine breakfast . I was on a learning curve being only the second time in Cebu , but a good experience for me .

We stayed for three nights. The family room was clean and spacious. Owner and his family were extremely accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. For example, they provided us with suggestions on how to get to the sightseeing spots in the neighborhood, fetched us a taxi to the airport, and helped ordering a pizza dinner etc. Breakfast was a home cooked fresh buffet style with slightly different dishes everyday. We enjoyed our stay at La Maria Pension & Tourist Inn Hotel. Great value and safe neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel close to shopping stores.

The hotel staff were friendly and nice. I had free breakfast there and the food was excellent. It is close to SM and a Chinese superstore. I enjoyed my stay there thanks again.

Not a 2 Star

A few quirks about La Maria, it's not where Google maps puts it in the city (same street but a few blocks away). Kind of a dinghy location, but a short walk to a mall with a decent selection of restaurants . The hotel itself is run down and beds were a bit rough.
The redeeming feature was the staff who were very helpful and accommodating.

Nice for a night or two

The place is a little older and run down than other hotels in the area, but for the price is good. It’s good for a night or two. The rooms are comfortable but the bathroom shower is cold and has little pressure.

My review for La Maria Pension House

This is my second time to stay in this pension house.
The receptionist is very nice.
The guard is nice too.
I was upset of the breakfast during the first day of our stay because when we went to their dining room, they said that they will bring the food in our room because the dining room is rented already for a fellowship. So, I we ate inside the room with only 1 small table. I ate on the floor.
Another thing, there should be complimentary water. Only 1 outlet which is very hard for us to charge our gadget.

Nice and safe place to stay

The staff were very courteous and efficient, they are very accommodating. The rooms are old but are being remodeled, the air conditioning was sad but the bed was very comfortable. Their free breakfast was a good idea, since fast food chains are a distance away. The bathrooms are leaky and small but clean. The climb to the top floors I don't care for especially everyone has to climb down for the wifi signal since there are no tv in the room. But all in all, our experience was nice we even stayed an extra night. The price you pay for the room was worth it.

Great hotel for the money

This 2-star hotel is amazing, very clean and no bugs. Customer service is excellent and they provide other extra services at no extra charge (like free laundry if you stay more than 5 days). Employees are courteous and nice.

Great hotel at a reasonable price.

Although it started roughly (there were a lot of ants on the floor and on my bed), the hotel staff made up for it as they were apologetic and quickly made amends to prevent the ants from pestering further.

Overall, the stay was okay considering the price.

Place of Silence

I like a quiet room always. In this hotel, my room had no window facing outside. For someone, it might not be satisfying. But for me it helped very much to get myself a silent peaceful room. I recommend this hotel for someone who wants to get away from noisy outside and have a calm devotional moment.

with this rate excellent facilities and staff even I reached late due to flight delayed at 5;;00 am ANGLE GIRL manage weel and most I awake up late at 12;;am but in kitchen dear girl like sister she made the breakfast ,,but sorry I forgot name she is white skin little healthy ,,she made brerkfast without any arguments and any without any comments and also she arrange cheap taxi for airport ,,and also good secuirity staff ,,and no noise in looby or room

No complaints, no regrets.

If you're looking for a decent place to stay then this is it. They say, \"you get what you pay for\" and this is true here. If you need to take a shower, a bed, internet then this is it. Don't expect 5 star treatment, but if you need something just ask the staff and they will do their best to provide what you need or help you to get it. If you want more than what they have to offer then there are other hotels where you can pay more quite frankly. I left this hotel clean, well rested, and had internet service. So for me, if I ever need more than that (or if I were traveling with a snob) then I'll book a five star hotel. Otherwise, this place has everything you need.

Good Budget & Peaceful Place

Peaceful neighborhood. Good for someone on budget. Considerate staff. I was late for the check in time, which is a valid reason as \"no-show.\" Still I was accommodated to an available room, 2-bed instead of 1-bed. That was so kind! However, the toilet flush did not work, which is quite intolerable. Overall, the stay was good enough.

You get what you pay for

This is my fourth time at this hotel, the staff have been SO nice to me. The place is a little old, it is a little dirty, and its not a five star hotel, but for the money you pay you get an ok experience! BTW the shower is a box with a toilet and sink with the shower head, no separation!

Hard to Find

I was dissuaded to stay here because the day before my companions reportedly found the room and the place as \"noisy\". Apparently they were referring to the place as being scary. During my few hours of stay there it was not as scary as it seems. It was just the bad painting swatch of colors they chose for the whole structure and the rooms. What I didn't like most is the lack of lighted signage of the hotel along the main road. We missed it completely! The hotel was situated a few meters from the road and not exactly roadside. So better watch were you are going.

Not so good for the price we paid.. Considering there are more hotels that offers the same price but with modern facilities. This place is old. They said that you can access internet thru wifi,but even if you are at the lobby, the connectionis still poor... Sorry for the staff, even if you accommodate the guests well, you still have to think about upgrading it...

Good for how cheap it is

This is my second time going to this hotel and I still love it because the people there are amazingly nice. i once asked them to go get me milk and the one guy went down the street and stood in line and brought it back for me. Also they took my laundry to the place and just made me give them a deposit. as for what the room was like, its what you get for paying so little, but its all you need and about what I have living in a dorm in china.

From the first day the staff were great, nice, helpful and did everything they could to help. Room totally ok for such a low price. Had a cheap AC room but it was cleaned if and when I wanted it and breakfast is included as well so if you like to get up early, then everything is perfect.

very poor overall

i paid in full 3 months in advance for what they called the matrimoniol sweet, with king size bed.,,,,what i got was a very small room the size of my walk in closet.a twin bed under a window air condictioner that was leaking water on the bed.i paid for 28 day in advance,then had to pay again to stay 1 night, yes im getting a full refund threw hotels.com but it dont make me happy,this place really sux

You get what you paid for!

So they always say you get what you paid for. Well the hotel was nice except for the room had no windows. The hotel was far from the city so we had to take taxis or jeepney everywhere. Other than that it was pretty nice, the staff was very helpful and ver nice. Also there is a bar that opens up next door and has karaoke so we did that one night with the locals and had a blast. Over all you get what you paid for but in my opinion it wasnt bad :)

Got economy room that had no water but had cable tv with HBO, etc. Up grade to another room with tv and aircon but had no tv hookup. Room was priced too high for an upgraded quality room. Last day wanted to take shower but no water due to repairing pipes. Waited an hour for the water but still no water. They had to bring water in a 5 gallon bucket. Will not book a room there anymore. I have stayed in economy rooms before that were better quality and larger in size and with good lighting and with windows.

費用をかけずにある程度滞在するならまずここをオススメします。

セブ島に4ヶ月ほど滞在し、その間いくつかのホテルを転々としました。その中で金銭面、衛生面、周囲の建物、従業員の親切さ、を総合的に考慮するとここを1番にオススメします。
まず、費用が安いです。宿泊費に応じてエアコン付きやテレビ付きなどのオプションを選べます。更に朝食付きでご飯、卵焼き、ハム、コーヒーなど丁度良い量です。
また、従業員の方たちがとても親切で、フレンドリーです。クリスマスや年始はホテルの警備員の人と飲んだり、風邪をひいてしまった時は薬付きの朝食と昼食を部屋まで届けて貰いました。部屋の清掃は頼めばすぐにしてもらえます。
長期滞在する際はビザの更新もあると思いますが、それは近くのJモールというところで出来ます。徒歩10分もかからない距離で、食料や服などもそこで購入できます。
あまり費用をかけずに滞在したい方には短期・長期に関わらずここがベストだと思います。

라마라아펜션호텔 괜찮당

생각보다 너무 좋았다. 근데 화장실은 쫌 꽝..대신 일하시는 분들이 너무착하시다. 지리는 완전안좋음. 라마리아펜션호텔아는 택시기사는 눈뜨고 찾을수가없고 세부시티랑 가까운데도 만다웨시티라는 이유로 택시기사들이 사기치려고 애를쓴다
