We had a kitchenette so prepared most of our own meals. The Chedraui store across the street made grocery shopping very easy. The few times we dined out was not at the hotel so we can't speak for the meal quality. The pool is well maintained and gets sunlight almost all day. The staff are very friendly and they try hard to make guests happy.

I will say though the roo
We had was not so great.no window.we had a glass patio door that was frosted so we could not see out and also locked .we could not open it.even though there was a little patio outside.Room 101 with a kitchentte.
Bed was hard ans pillows felr like tbey were stuffed with hard foam.
Buffet for breakfast was poor.no bacon or sausage ,not alot of variety. Construction right next to building started at 7 in rhe morning.
Was a good location and again staff were wonderdul but rooms can use updates as well as the buffet.

The room had no ventilation or opening window to allow light and air in. It was stifling and awful to spend any time I. The room. Our “patio door” was covered with a film so we couldn’t see out and was locked. I understand why they did this as we were right against the parking lot. So additionally, it was noisy at all hours.
The kitchen had a coffee maker but no filters and in our eight day stay, we could only purchase one. They sell coffee in the lobby but you can’t make it in your room!
The staff was great: friendly helpful and upbeat. We liked the proximity to the mall.

The restaurant changed and not for the better. They had a great restaurant with tables and chairs not just booths. Why oh why did they change their menu!? They went to a breakfast buffet. Salty eggs, no meat and it’s expensive. They used to have a breakfast called the energetic breakfast which is why we went there. We won’t be eating here again…it’s gone for crap unfortunately!

Excellent location. Chedraui steps away. Quick walk to Chahue beach and easy cab ride to others. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Restaurant at the hotel was very good as well. The staff at this hotel are so nice. Every one of them Joanna at the restaurant was exceptional. We had some issues with the first room we were given, but when we mentioned this to Aracita (I’m sorry if I got this wrong, but hopefully I’m close) who was working at the front desk she had us moved into another room within 1/2 hour and that room was kept spotless the whole time and we were there 17 nights. The pool is kept very clean and it was used a lot while we were there. We were there over Christmas and New Years so this was good value compared to the prices on other hotels for that time of year. This was our second time in Huatulco and I’m pretty sure we’ll be back again. I would go back to this hotel for the staff and the convenient location. One note. It is very pet friendly and they are very open about that. So just be prepared for barking dogs sometimes but it didn’t interfere with our trip.

We had lot of problems during the stay. The room they initially gave us had a bad smell. So we asked for a second room. That room also had a bad smell. They told us there were no other rooms to available to give us. It smelled like sewage. During our 3 day stay, the room service came only once although we asked them multiple times. They came at night while we were resting in the room so we had to go downstairs to the lobby. AC was not working. So we informed the front desk. They said they will send someone. No one came, no fix was made. It was extremely hot during our stay. The water pressure is very low. The toilet takes almost 5 minutes to refill so you have to wait a long time to flush again. Very inconvenient. The wi-fi was extremely slow. We could not even check our emails. TV remote was not functioning which we reported. But, the front desk never did anything to get us a new remote. We were promised a safe when we booked the room. It was not working. They said they cannot fixed it until 1 week later. So, we had to take our passports and cash with us every where we went. Lastly, the restaurant was full of flies and other critters. They put plastic covers on food, but these flies/critters get inside. Overall, very poor quality hotels. I would not stay there again. I travel a lot and this is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in.

Firstly the staff was awesome, everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. Cleaning was top notch. Buggy and scooter rental right in the lobby for a good price., tours as well. Massive grocery store across the street selling motorcycles to potato chips. Many restaurants within short walk. Check taxi prices posted in the lobby or you will be over charged by the driver.

There was building works happening outside our room. It started at 8am every day and didn’t finish until after 10pm at night.
The hall ways were dirty with construction work and the hotel did not tell us about this before making our booking.
The room was dark with no natural light and we hated being in the hotel.
The manager agreed the noise was unacceptable , promised a partial refund and is now ignoring all my emails.
The hotel had a weird vibe and I would not go back.
The rooms are dated and it felt oppressive with no natural light.

I don’t usually leave reviews unless something stands out good or bad. At Check in I requested first floor due to surfboard bags. They charged me $35 extra.
At 10:30pm I went to the office. The rooms Ac, was not large enough to keep up with heat outside so the room was 80 degrees. I went to the office and was able to borrow their floor fan to get by. We were only staying one night for proximity to airport. The hot water didn’t work either and the bathroom at a smell to it too.

My family and I absolutely love this hotel. The service is exceptional, the food quality is good-to-excellent, and the location couldn't be better (literally across the street from a large supermarket selling everything you forgot to pack).

I suggest ordering the steak medium, and enjoying the \"tacos gobernador\" with large fresh shrimp and a sweet n spicy mango sauce. Delicious!

We have never satayed before but defianately will again! The staff are amazing. We had some problems with the room initially and they bent over backwards to make sure everything was put right. They always had a great attitude. management is very present and their friendly customer service attitude permeates the motel. The room was very comfortable with the only complaint was the pillows were not as comfortable as we might want. Definitely recommend it and it is in a convenient location to food shopping, Crucecita, Santa Cruz and the beaches.

The Best Western was a very clean, friendly and fun hotel. We are glad we chose to stay there and would stay there again. It is located nicely between everything we wanted. The beaches, shopping and restaurants. The pool was great, and the restaurant was also very good. We watched the super bowl on the big screens in the little cantina on site. OK hotel but 3 room changes was too much

Arrived tired after a series of long flights. The staff were friendly and I got to my room and the a/c was put on for me. Unpacked all my stuff. After a while the a/c unit started to leak on the floor. Called front desk and was given another room. The next room seemed fine until the next morning when I went to take a shower the water was cold and didn't heat up. Another room change and all seemed okay except it was near the pool so I could hear kids and music when I was trying to sleep, but by this time I was staying where I was. The hotel is close to Chadraui the grocery store so that's a plus, but needs updating.

when our family got to the hotel, they told me that they have overbooked...and change to smaller room - from king size to queen size.

actually, here in huatulco, it seems like overbooking is not surprising matter at all!! When we arrived at huatulco airport, Hertz (car rental company) totally neglected my reservation. They told me that they had no cars at all!! Instead, they suggested me to use other rental company. Avis (just beside Hertz) proposed me ten times more expensive than the price that I previously booked at Hertz.

I had no choice but to use taxi, but the cost to Crucecita is 390 pesos!!!

WiFi failed, again I reported and not fix, service at the restaurant to slow only two persons attending the all place I have to eat in pauses. Very disappoint considering is a hotel belonging to a big chain.

We really enjoyed eating in the restaurant. I ordered a steak and my wife chose from the vegetarian options (there's a really good selection). She loved the stuffed mushrooms with cheese. The staff helped arrange a late checkout which really helped our timing for heading to the airport, overall a really relaxing experience.

This is a nice property, very well kept. It covers all the bases, with comfortable beds, good A/C, a good restaurant (the vegetarian restaurant is closed), a small pool on site, and a nice beach club on Playa Chahue a few minutes away.

It was close to the dive shop I used, which was a bonus.

It's handy to have the Super Che across the street. I enjoyed walking into La Crucecita (10-15 min), but everything else is a taxi ride.

The staff was great. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel Staff was very nice and most of them spoke a little English. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was very nice with warm water. Only about 10-15 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. The best thing about the hotel was the proximity to Super Che (large grocery store). Only about a 2-3 minute walk. Right across the street. Super Che, apart from groceries, also has beach towels, bathing suits, coolers, etc. If you need beach supplies that would be the place to go.

I happened upon the Best Western Posada Chahue online after a mid-vacation change in plans caused me to need a hotel in Huatulco for a night. I had stayed at a resort down the road for the previous few nights, and while the Best Western isn't as luxurious as an all-inclusive, it was remarkably nice for the money. The pool area is pretty and well-kept, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and the attached restaurant serves vegetarian dishes. Tofu in Mexico??? It was delicious. The staff was also very helpful, allowing me to check-in early and helping me with the safe. And all for less than $70/night.

Only downside was the complimentary shuttle to the airport listed online was not complimentary. It was $150 pesos.

Good place for a weekend break

Great location. A short walk from the beach, right next to a large supermarket, and not so far from downtown either. We enjoyed the pool, room service and air conditioning. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Huatulco for a short time and are looking for a good value hotel.

The place was clean, nice pool-not outstanding-just what you would expect for a road hotel where you are just spending a night or two on your way to somewhere else. Very nice and helpfull bell boy \"Quito\" made our stay pleasant. He knew how to get to banks, restaurants, sight seeing etc.

Airline changed our flight so we had to find a hotel for a couple of nights. Best Western Posada Chahue was perfect. Close to Super Che grocery store and one of the best restaurants in the area, L'Echalote. An easy walk to both Santa Cruz, La Crucecita and Chahue beach. Safe area.

Our 2 bed suite was roomy. Staff was eager to help, just like everyone in the Huatulco area. On-site restaurant offered good food and good service. Free shuttle to airport. WiFi reception was excellent, but TV reception was awful, very staticky and only a few English stations; not a real problem for a couple of nights.

Check-in was a breeze; requested a non-smoking room but they were on the first floor with no windows. So we moved to a smoking room with a very nice balcony. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds a little firm but not too bad, sink is outside the bathroom. Shower always had good water pressure and hot water. It looked like it was brand new tile. It was very hot while we were there but the air conditioner kept the room cool. There is also a screen on the patio door if you want to keep the door open. Rooms come with 2 bottles of water every day; iron and ironing board and coffee maker. The pool is very small (perfect for children) with only several lounge chairs. There is a computer in the lobby you can use for a very small fee. Two restaurants are on the property, one of them is the only vegetarian restaurant in Huatulco. La Crucecita and Santa Cruz are a short cab ride away (20 pesos) but we walked to them every day (15 minutes). We like to eat at different places so we enjoyed being able to walk into town for breakfast and dinner every day. Food is very reasonable in town. Although this hotel is not on the beach, you can walk to Playa Chahue (10-15 minutes) and there are 2 beach clubs with restaurants, pools, and lounge chairs. The one on the right as you are looking at the ocean is free. You can also take a cab to any of the other beaches for a very reasonable price.

Real Mexican vacation

The hotel was comfortable and we were made to feel special. [...] was adept at his art and always gave us great ideas for beaches and restaurants and delighted with his creative drinks. The nearby beach club was a great place to chill although the short trips to snorkel in the bays was well worth it. What struck me most besides the friendliness of the inhabitants was the overall cleanliness of the whole area. We will return.

A \"great \" little hotel

I've booked an other hotel in the Huatulco downtown but when my friend and I we've arrived the hotel did not correspond at all to what is advertised on the website and magazines and reviewed by others travellers. Despite having paid the first night we left it immediately. We remembered the Best Western that was not in the center but not far, and relying on quality of the hotel chain we booked. When we arrived we heaved a sigh of relief. Not a large hotel but it is very nice, the rooms are big, super comfortable, clean, modern furnished with two double beds, air-conditioned quiet, LCD televisions with satellite channels, safe, minibar and 2 bottles of water free every day. The staff at reception is very kind and always available to provide information. Chaue beach is only 5 minutes on foot but in the water is not recommended to swim for strong waves and the whirlpools. The center of Huatulco can be reached on foot in 15 minutes or you can take a taxi and pay 20 pesos. Other beaches can be reached by taxi paying 40 to 54 pesos depending on distance. I do not recommend to include a continental breakfast consisting of coffee or tea, orange juice and two slices of toast and jam, and for the price and the quality. In the room there is also a coffee maker with coffee and a bag of chamomile. The hotel also has a very good vegetarian restaurant with reasonable prices. In front of the hotel there's also a big supermarket where you can buy pastries,fruits and juices .

Cleanest and next to Beach and Supermarket!

This Hotel was a bang for the buck! absolutely enjoyed the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Location was perfect. 3 min. from beach, supermarket across the street, VEGETARIAN restaurant in the hotel.

Clean and nice

Very nice hotel, small, clean and close to downtown and beaches. The food could be better, more options for breakfast would be nice.
The staff was great, nice but not overwhelming.
The only bad thing is that the hotel does not have elevator, so if you need it is not a good option. A jacuzzi would be a good idea after those long walks...

\"Wonderful place will go back again\"

This hotel is wonderful. Only having 20 rooms it was so nice and quiet and clean. The staff is friendly. Hector the manager is very nice. The restaurant food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this.

The only small thing wrong was the fitness room was small and not air conditioned but that was a very minor detail.
