The staff was very nice and helpful. The property was exceptionally clean and decor beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable and we loved the large balcony, patio furniture with the sea view.
We felt there should have been more food and desert options. We went to Binguenda a few times for that. Prices are a bit high for Santa Cruz area. This is a place mainly for adults which works for us. Thank you for helping make our trip lovely.❤️

The grounds and building are excellent. Very clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable and have great amenities. Beds, linens and sheets/towels are nice as well. Beware, the standard rooms have NO view or deck area. They literally back onto a fairly busy walkway, which is your view. To upgrade, the cost is quite high. For the next level upgrade (Junior Suite) we paid $1400CAN for 6 nights.

Food was decent, the buffet was repetitive after 10 days. Some of the dishes that should have been warm or hot were not. The menu items were prepared fresh and definitely were better. Same with the breakfast....buffet was decent, menu items were much better. Drinks were all over the place. They had Dos XX on tap and many types of low grade hard alcohol. Mixed drinks were a crap shoot, unless you ordered something very simple. They had no drink menu, but I think that would be helpful so that the bartenders could all be trained to make drinks the same way.

Staff was similar to most places. Some good, some ok, some indifferent. We had a couple of experiences where we sat first, but were served/waited on after local couples were sat after us. This happened more than once. We also had to help ourselves to menus a few times while staff were talking amongst themselves and/or on their phones. Cleaning staff were excellent however!

All in all, a solid 3.5. For the original price we paid, plus the upgrade, the value just wasn't there. For our all in price, better choices exist.

It's a fraud that they offer the rooms on the first floor as "ocean view", the balcony is in front of the pool so the view is really just people sunbathing on sun loungers right outside your window. You have to keep the curtains closed at all times if you don't want to feel like you're in a shop window.

Just returned from 11 days at the resort and it could not have been much better.
The staff were all fantastic! We had a great time durning the day with Francisco and Jose at the upper bar/restaurant and the evening staff with Ixtel and Eric were always there to make sure we were looked after!! Chester from the kitchen made sure we were always fed :)

The housekeeping staff were amazing, our room was spotless every day and the bar fridge and water were refilled. The folded towel animals on the bed with the chocolates were a great added touch.

The pool was spotless as was the entire pools area and everywhere on the property was immaculate. Some areas were more rustic than others but all were very clean and in great shape!!

This is a smaller boutique type all inclusive resort. If you are looking for something a little more quiet but still having all the amenities, this is the spot for you.

Most of the rooms are ocean facing, and there is enough variety in room choices to meet most everyone’s needs.

This is definitely a spot we will be returning to!!

Spectacular spot on the beach, nice pools, location, everything about this place is wonderful. Great rooms with comfy beds, towels and amenities and VIEWS. The food is great, with a nice variety. The staff is friendly, communicate well, and excellent at what they do. The manager Ada made sure to communicate with us. I was impressed! If I stayed there longer than 10 days, I would get bored with the food, but I really enjoy all the restaurants in Huatulco. I don’t usually stay at AllInclusives but I would come back for sure to this one!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Niru Hotel for a week and had a Junior Suite with Ocean view. What a wonderful little gem – the Suite was delightful, with a small kitchen, a very comfy bed and a view to die for! The suites are large, very comfortable and squeaky clean – and, as a person with sleep issues, I slept like a baby the entire time! ( do tell us which kind of mattress you use please). We were on the top floor with just the skies above and endless views! The in-room coffee machines produce excellent coffee so you can sit on your deck to watch the sunrise with your caffeine in hand.

First off, this hotel has the most wonderful staff! Thank you to Andy, Amado and Ulyses for the warm welcome, your guidance and smiling faces every day! Ulyses shared one of his favourite desserts with us, knowing I love sweet treats and we would go and visit him and Andy as often as we could to chat. Thank you Diana and Jessica for your kind help and assisting when I was feeling unwell. Thank you to Jose Manuel and Francisco for the many laughs during breakfast, you made every morning something to look forward to! (just need to get that espresso machine fixed which was down while we were visiting 😉). Ana, Istel, Magdalena took care of us for the dinners and made us many lovely cocktails in the evenings and cared for us well. The staff, throughout, with one minor exception, was friendly, courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The facilities at Nirú are top notch, I believe the photos online don’t actually do it justice. The upstairs pool was always quiet, with very friendly and attentive bartending/waiting staff! The beach club pool and beach area are much busier with people from their other hotel in Santa Cruz and also day pass users, but we were always able to get some loungers regardless. The hotel is located right in Santa Cruz making it super convenient to walk around and walk/taxi to La Crucecita. The food is great all around, I would say breakfast is the best by far, authentic Mexican dishes and really good buffet sides. The weakest part would definitely be the lunch buffet at the beach club, but if you are staying at the hotel, you can eat snacks/lunch at the hotel pool which has some great options! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Staff, some of the best friendliest staff in Hualtulco. Jose and Francisco. Went above and beyond everyday to make our experience special.

Rooms and patios are nicer then your average Dreams or Barcelo. These patios are like dance floors with a view.

The food for a small all inclusive is better then your big hotel chains. A small daily buffet but you can also order from a small menu.
The downside of the food is that there is no room service and they will not allow you to take food to your room. Even though there is a kitchen in the room, which I found strange. So if someone isn’t feeling well. They can’t eat.

The main pool doesn’t open until 10:00. Which stops people from saving pool chairs. However, most people get up before 10:00 so it would be nice to have access earlier.

The major negative was our booking experience. Which was through Expedia, so the hotel isn’t completely to blame. However, the rate that we were quoted through Expedia in Mexican peso’s. When we paid the hotel uses their own exchange rate NOT what the posted exchange rate is. It was explained as a banking exchange rate. But be aware when checking in what the actual exchange rate is when checking in.
It was our neglect for assuming the hotel would use the posted rate. But it was much higher. Resulting in each one of our reservations paying $250-$400 more then our Expedia booking.

We so love this hotel in every other was, but this experience was a little disappointing

Very beautiful hotel, we have traveled most of the world, and I’ll say that this is one of the finest establishments that we’ve stayed at.

Multiple pools, multiple restaurants, multiple bars, tremendous view, great service, wonderful people clean room pretty much everything you’d want in a resort to get away from the workday.

We are looking forward to going back again hopefully near the end of this year when it starts to get cold again.

The hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable the staff are very friendly and try to help as much as possible. There is no gym on-site so you have to take the shuttle or walk a few blocks to their sister hotel if you want to use the gym which is not in great condition and has limited equipment.

The rooftop pool is beautiful but because of where the hotel is situated, the pool and loungers end up in the shade by about 11:30 each day so you have to move downstairs to the Beach Club if you want sun.

The beach club is only open from 10-6 and non-hotel guests can purchase a day pass to use the beach club facilities. Guests from the sister hotel are also able to use the Beach Club so it can get busy and there are limited loungers in the sun.

Our biggest issue with this hotel was the food. The lunch buffet at the Beach Club was practically inedible. We've travelled a lot and for a hotel billing itself as a 4 star this was among the worst we've experienced. Bland, tasteless and just flat out bad. The options are very limited. The only saving grace is that there is a restaurant upstairs in the hotel where you can order lunch from a menu but it's very limited and one can only eat hamburgers so many times during a 10 day stay. Breakfast upstairs was generally pretty good but the options are limited and very repetitive. Dinner was the same but you do have the option of visiting the sister property for their buffet and evening shows

Walls are paper thin - can hear every voice, cough, sigh from adjoining rooms and hallways. Too noisy to sleep. Food was terrible - americanized low quality. Bar served sugary pre-mixed drinks rather than fresh juice. Alcohol and blender left out all day in hot sun. No drinking water from glass bottles - just plastic containers sitting in hot sun. Drinking water in room never changed during our stay which is a health hazard. Constant smell of septic coming up from drains in room. Resort clean and well maintained but too busy of a location with overcrowded beach (also making it noisy at night). We ate out and went to less crowded beaches.

Please avoid this hotel, it is a scam for the high price they charge. The 4 started and all inclusive promise is a full misrepresentation.

Starting by the fact that if you arrive before 12.00 you cannot access the hotel and you need to figure it out on the town on your own. Once we managed to enter, I ordered some horchata water in the bar and they told me no, since it was only for lunch time, so much for all inclusive.

The lunch is just a disgrace. First of all is a restaurant shared with a lower category hotel so I don't get the point of paying for an exclusive experience. Please see the pics for the quality of the food. Also, you need to ask the people serving the buffet 2 or 3 times for a proper portion. You will see that everyone ends up ordering a burger. Also, there variety of food is tiny.

We decided to go the exclusive restaurant which only serves snacks for lunchtime and the pizza was just an insult as you can see in the photo.

Any food you ask for in the exclusive restaurant takes at least 30 min (breakfast, lunch or dinner) since they have only 2 people cooking for more than 20 guests.. and they don't warn you about the waiting time. Once you get some food it is tiny portion and/or bearly eatable. They don't know about salt or any seasoning.

All drinks are watered down or full of sugar.

After complaining many times we managed to leave and get a refund for the nights we didnt spend thete.

Also, be prepared to share the beach with all of Huatulco.

Our king suite room was like having a full condo, very nice, clean and we felt looked after. The pool on the patio was kinda cold but refreshing. Lots of security even though it wasn't needed. The bedding, beds and pillows were amazing.... bar staff always got it done.... we found the food was repetitive but it was always good... have lunch at the upper restaurant because it's so much better than the pool restaurant. The upper pool at Niru is very quiet and so nice to just relax... we give it 5 star😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Niru! The resort is small enough that it never felt overly busy and it also allowed us to meet and interact with many of the other guests. The pools and beachfront access were both amazing. The food was quite good but you are also so close to La Crucecita that you can walk or cab into town to experience the amazing street food and restaurants. This is a much quieter and more relaxing experience than what we are used to in PV, Cabo or Cancun. The staff an locals are incredibly friendly and we always felt very safe. Bring Pesos, not USD!!!

Hotel de construcción reciente con habitaciones muy amplias, bien equipadas y muy cómodas. El acceso a la playa está muy sencillo y ofrecen actividades como paddle board y kayak incluidos en el el paquete de hospedaje. En cuanto a comida hay buenas opciones de desayuno y cena. El buffet de medio día es bueno, pero no espectacular. El servicio del personal es muy amable y atento, hacen la estancia muy cómoda. Es un hotel pequeño que ofrece opciones de disfrutar tiempo de descanso con tranquilidad, no es un all-inclusive masivo que tenga muchos restaurantes y bares, pero para el tamaño está muy bien lo que tiene. Al hospedarse aquí también se tiene acceso a los espectáculos y restaurante del hotel hermano que está a unas cuadras de este hotel. El proceso de check in and check out fue muy sencillo. En general fue muy buena experiencia y lo recomendaría ampliamente.

Nirú sobrepasó mis expectativas. Había leído reviews del resort antes que tenían opiniones desfavorables de la comida y por poco no reservo en Nirú.
La comida del restaurant del hotel—el Bi Nisa—es muy buena. Es una mezcla de proteínas a la carta con buffet de acompañamientos. La calidad es mucho mejor que restaurantes de especialidad de otros resorts en los que tienes que hacer reservación y te ponen restricciones. Ofrecen rib eye, filetes, salmon, pulpo, camarones, etc. A la hora del desayuno el sistema es similar y también de buena calidad. La variedad de la comida del club de playa no es la mejor pero tiene calidad aceptable.
Tiene 2 albercas grandes y cómodas. El club de playa es muy bonito y tiene una vista impresionante. La playa es una piscina natural en la bahía de Santa Cruz dónde todos pueden nadar.
Mi habitación fue una Master Suite en el último piso. Estuvo excepcional. Alberca privada y una vista que difícilmente encuentras en otro lugar y menos a ese precio. La amamos. El sofá cama nonfue muy cómodo.
Finalmente, el servicio es incomparable. Todos te tratan como a gente importante y no somos extranjeros. Los del bar te preparan bebidas con licor de buena calidad y con boita presentación. Los meseros dan su mejor servicio y la gente del concierge y de limpieza son grandiosos. Los que más sobresalieron fueron los de recepción. No recuerdo sus nombres pero el chico de la mañana y la chica de la tarde de verdad dan el extra.

We really enjoyed our stay even though we had hurricane Erick pass close by. The staff went out of their way to help continue to enjoy our stay. They worked with us to add a day to our reservation due to our flight being canceled right before checkout. I would suggest they get a back up generator. But overall wonderful experience given the circumstance.

A key note about Huatulco in general, and this property in particular: despite it being all-inclusive, you are not in Cancun or Acapulco.

First, the hotel. Though it calls itself Nirú Ocean Suites, only four of the eight total rooms face the water. And it's a bay, not the ocean. That said, the service was efficient and friendly. The hotel pool was hardly occupied (again, only eight rooms), and the bar, while poorly stocked, was open most of the day. The rooms were spacious and pretty. The towel service, complete with a card you had to turn in at the end of your stay, was a bit annoying.

The Beach Club. Included with your rate, it is primarily for local and Mexican tourists, who pay a fee for the all-inclusive food, separate pool, and beach access. Not many international tourists here. The food is pretty awful. The beach is pretty crowded but has fine sand, and since it's a bay, no waves.

Hotel food: here is where things got dicey. First off, the quality of the hotel food is significantly better than at the Beach Club, although they share some dishes. And this is where things fall apart. Since the Beach Club is primarily locals and/or nationals, avoid the salads. My wife, friend and I all got sick from it. Thankfully, we had a full day to recover before moving on to Oaxaca. Whatever the lettuce was washed in did not sit well.

This is my second stay at this property since its opening in november. The staff here make this an even more amazing place to stay. Housekeeping is always immaculate, the pool bathrooms always clean. The staff really seem to care about keeping this property in its near new state.

No major complaints - The facilities are great. Pool areas and beach access is perfect. No gym facilities was surprising. There is no Entertainment on site - We found out the last day that we could attend the sister property where they had nightly shows. I suppose we could have asked. So in this regard I would rate this hotel as a good choice to stay. Location is great. Food is good. Service is great.

First off amazing rooms and facilities, new, modern and very clean. The views are fantastic, the location is so convenient to Santa Cruz beach, shopping and dining.
The breakfast and dinner service is better then any all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at.
A few glitches that need to be worked out.
You need to take 3 elevators to get to the top floors and they broke down twice during our stay.
They do not offer room service and are not allowed to take food from the restaurant to your room. So kinda inconvenient when one of our family got sick.

You do share the beach club with the Binniguenda so that can get busy and a shortage of seating.
However there is a private pool that was quieter and well maintained.
Francisco was a great server at that pool. He was very attentive and offered great service
Overall I would stay there again. For the rooms alone.

Fantastic new hotel. Ocean view rooms have a great view of the beach and water. Food is typical for all inclusive resorts. Staff is great but very limited English understanding….but then I have very limited Spanish abilities so why should I complain.

It was quiet and quaint!! More for an older crowd which was great. Being an all exclusive supper was self serving. The suppers were good but they were kept in warmers that werent very warm. Most nights the food was hardly warm at all
