We had a great 11 day stay at Quinta Bella. Our room was a corner unit so we had ocean and jungle views. It was very clean, well appointed and the king size bed was very comfy. We both slept really well. Housekeeping staff work very hard in the heat and always engaged with us with a greeting and smile. Likewise for the front desk staff, restaurant staff and especially the young people serving drinks and food in the pool and beach area. So attentive and happy even with the long hours they work. Can't say enough great things about them. The pool area is awesome and immediate access to the beach is a big plus. What a beautiful bay and so clean. We did not eat at all seven restaurants but heard good things about them. The on site cafeteria was a hit for delicious fresh coffee and yummy sandwiches. Pizza at Forno was great and breakfast at Marea was great. The entire staff was excellent and even with limited Spanish on our part, communication was not an issue.
Would definitely stay at Quinta Bella again.

We had an amazing stay at Quinta Bella! Our room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and quiet. The entire property staff was great, very polite and helpful. The Frozen Bar staff at the pool was fantastic, very friendly and service was great for all 14 days of our stay. The property is a close walk to both Santa Cruz and La Crucecita and there is a great park close by to see iguanas.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks English, but with a little help from Google Translate, it wasn’t a big issue.
There are some good restaurants, and the pool was well maintained.
However, there was no refrigerator in the room, which was a bit inconvenient, especially in such hot weather.

Quinta Bella in Huatulco (La Crucecita) was an unforgettable stay and one of the most beautiful boutique-style resorts we’ve experienced. From the moment we arrived, the staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our entire visit.

The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful details that made the stay feel elevated. One of our favourite features was the private dipping pool attached to the room—truly ahhhh-mazing and the perfect way to relax while taking in the scenery. And the views… OMG… the views. Absolutely breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. The addition of a mini fridge would add to the 'pros'.

The resort pools were also a highlight. They were clean, fun, and ideal for relaxing. The main pool was especially great for morning lap swimming, which became part of our daily routine.

Food & Restaurants:

Quinta Bella has fantastic food options. The Deli Quinta Bella makes the best sandwiches—fresh, flavourful, and perfect for a casual lunch. We also enjoyed the on-site dining at Aroma, Otto, Rustico, and Forno, with Forno standing out for pizza (and yes… pizza with mango is surprisingly delicious!) & UNO (Korean BBQ) — a MUST!

Staff are very nice and accommodating, property is very clean the food was delicious, a bit pricey but very good. Food was fresh. Most of the time pool side chairs were available and they are the usual type of poolside chair. Enjoyed my stay immensely. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The pool overlooks the beach front and was so relaxing too to peer out and have a drink. The bar staff were always polite, fun and checking to see if you needed anything. Again the drinks are a bit pricey but they were very good.

We had a great time one week stay at this hotel. Our rooms were very clean and the staff were attentive as they provided excellent customer service. The quality and selection of their food from their onsite restaurants was very good. I personally enjoyed having my meals at their coffee/sandwich cafe. We enjoyed sitting outside by the poolside which had an excellent view of the beach and ocean. It was not a deal breaker, but we were disappointed that their gym/exercise room didn’t have properly equipment.

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Quinta Bella. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent AC, strong shower pressure, and reliable hot water (aside from a brief outage due to a temporary power issue). We especially loved our balcony, which offered beautiful views of the hotel, pools, ocean, and surrounding mountains—it truly felt like home. A heartfelt thank you to our housekeeper, Graciela, for her impeccable attention to detail.

From the moment we arrived, Blanca at the front desk was welcoming, and the entire staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Erick and Tai at the pool stood out for their professionalism and care. The beach was calm, clean, secure, and well kept, and the pools were spotless, with water filtered daily.

Dining was a highlight. Otto’s Mexican-French fusion, Aroma’s Mexican-Asian flavours, and Rústico’s authentic cuisine were all excellent—Rústico also offers the best breakfast. Terraza del Mar impressed us with its menu, and Daniel made our evening memorable. At Forno, Chef Alberto and his team shared their passion as they crafted outstanding artisanal pizzas. Marbella was a fantastic hostess throughout.

We also appreciated the excellent selection of Casa Madero wines, and we hope to see a rosé added to the list soon. We truly loved our stay and would return without hesitation.

We got a deluxe room which is a room with a small private pool. The room was on the first floor which limited the view of the ocean but it was pretty private with big plants in front. We didn't spend that much time in the room so it was good. A couple of things that the hotel can improve on...
- internet/wifi is unreliable.
- beach furniture can be updated.
- a small refrigerator and microwave would be good to have in the room.

Other than that, the service was always very good and the food tends to be excellent in the different restaurants jn the property.

Absolutely the best poolside service staff ever! Daniel, Tye, Hector, Eric and Toño made sure all the guests were happy and had drinks and food they wanted at all times. Our two week stay was fun and the pool staff made sure we had the loungers and umbrellas just how we liked them whenever we came to the pool for a relaxing time and a swim.

Where to begin...let's just say that if you are looking for a higher end, relaxing vacation....this AIN'T IT! However, if you enjoy base thumping music from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., come and get it. We had a prepaid 21 day visit to what appears as a 5 star hotel...big mistake, BIG MISTAKE! We spoke to many other guests and they were just as appalled by the noise. In fact, we know of one particular couple who also prepaid, but cut their loses and let this resort for another. We would have left too, but was refused any sort of refund. During our stay there were at least 3 weddings and a birthday party hosted right on the beach in front of the pools. Live bands singing until 11:00 p.m. No consideration to the guests who paid to stay there, no prior notification of these events. Qunita Bella needs to decide if it is going to be a hotel or a wedding venue. There is not enough square footage for both. That being said, the daily staff does a great job. All interactions were friendly and polite. Not sure I can say the same about the management. I was able to pick out a couple of people (women in navy blue sheath dresses) stomping about, never smiling or greeting guests. They were frequently seen meeting with nervous looking staff, sitting a public tables. Please, meet in private. Quinta Bella, you need to read the room. More than 90% of the guests, I would say, are 60+ years old and retired. They want to be here and spend their money in peace.

Our room was really nice, had a superior mountain view which is in the updated wing and on the quiet, shady side (could use a fridge) Did look over parking/entrance to hotel but it’s a non issue, nice quiet break from endless music around pool. Hotel would be better if they played more Spanish, quiet music. Would lend itself to the natural ambience of the hotel. People pick that hotel because it’s a boutique hotel, beautiful scenery, they are not there to rock out at the pool. Another example, eating breakfast with a beautiful view but having to listen to rock music, restaurants play the wrong music too. At different times of the day restaurants compete with the pool music and it’s not very relaxing. They need to coordinate there music and take a look at what they are playing and turn it down.

The good stuff: staff at the pool and on the beach were great--very attentive without being overbearing. Food was solid.
Breakfast at Marea was delicious.

The rest: The lobby is a disaster--the desk is weirdly pushed back into a corner and is overrun with folks having to trade their towel card (don't dare lose it--$25 fine!) in for towels as you're trying to check-in--why not have the towels available at the pool?. Parking is haphazard and the security guards are brusque to say the least-although two women who let you into the lot were friendly. A promised bellhop never showed up. A lousy welcome across the board.

Our \"superior\" room (#9, btw) had a view of the side of a car, unusable wifi, no phone in room to call for service (had to call via WhatsApp), no hot water, wasn't cleaned for first two days. Couldn't have been further from the pool. It was so disappointing we actually paid for an airbnb and just used the hotel as s a beach club. Talking of which, even though we spent money there everyday on the final night when we left for our other room we were chased by security to settle our tab even though we were supposed to check out in the morning.

Our room (king deluxe on 2nd floor) had a perfect balcony with a little pool where we can see the sunrise every morning . The restaurants at the hotel are gourmet . We will be back

Quinta Bella is a beautiful hotel right on Playa Chahue. We have stayed there several times, but the beds are very hard. We finally found a better bed in one of the more expensive suites. Room 3002.We stayed there last year and decided to rebook this year. The room itself needs improvement as the water closet and sink are in the same small space. And there's no closet and and safe that doesn't work. But the view is beautiful and it has nice deck. However, this year, the rate almost doubled and we had problems with sewer smell in the room. The first three nights were unbearable. The maintenance people came twice to fix, but even after the second time, the smell, although better, was still there. Because we aren't able to sleep on the beds in the other rooms, we worked to fix the remaining smell ourselves. We covered the trap in the small water closet with lots of towels, and kept the air conditioner fan on at all times. This seemed to keep the smell down, and shutting the water closet door kept it contained. We asked management to give us a refund for at least three nights, but they have not answered back. They seem unconcerned. We are upset about this because we really do like the place. If the management were to refund us, and confirm the smell is gone, we would go back.

The front desk staff accommodated our request to change rooms at check in. The room was clean and bright and the cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests for additional supplies on occasion.
The proximity to both Chahue beach and La Crucecita town was a bonus - we walked everywhere. The restaurants onsite were all excellent, but we particularly enjoyed the deli mere steps from our room.
Having a small fridge in the room would be a fabulous addition to the room, but we made do with a styrofoam cooler and ice from the bar - they were so generous with the ice!
We will return to Quinta Bella.

The pool was wonderful, my only suggestion would be to not allow quests to reserve lounge chairs hours before they use them, making other quests have to sit in sun or apart from their family and friends.

All the staff members are extremely kind and attentive. The room was cozy and spotless.
It’s a very comfortable and convenient place since it’s not too large. Everything is within walking distance — the rooms, the pool, the restaurants, and the beach.
The only two downsides were that the loungers by both the pool and the beach were very uncomfortable, and the restaurants were even more expensive than eating at the airport.

Our room was very clean and modern. The bed and pillows very comfy and nice to have a large flat screen TV over the large bar. Great bathroom with lots of vanity space and shelves. Only thing missing is a small fridge, but the bar gave us ice every morning for our cooler.
Pools are great with attentative staff for drinks or food. The hotel is in a great location to walk to Chedraui or catch a taxi downtown. We stayed 2 weeks and we want to come back.

The room was somewhat dated, scratches on the furniture and the air conditioner roared like a lion, very noisy. The beds were very comfortable. The 2 swimming pools are lovely. All the food in their many restaurants was excellent. All the Staff were very kind.

My biggest negative was the CONSTANT LOUD MUSIC around the 2 swimming pools, every day from 10am-10pm ….. 12 hours of loud noise, and some nights i was awake with this music until after midnight!!! Not my idea of a quiet and peaceful vacation. Even though i asked on several occasions to turn the volume down…. I received a kind response but no behavioural change and the music stayed loud regardless of my request. So if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation, you should not stay here…. Find another place

There are no phones in the rooms so the only way to communicate with the Front Desk from your room is to phone them on their Whatsapp phone number or text them. I did both but they never picked up the phone…. Not once during our 9 night stay.
So you can see, communication and accountability to their Guests is very Low if not non-existent!

Chahue Bay is very pretty and not too busy. The sand is very coarse and your feet sink into it when walking. The ocean is lovely to swim in but be careful when entering and particularly when exiting as the waves and undertow can be very strong and overwhelming.

In summary, this facility was okay but we will look for a different place when we return

The hotel is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the views are spectacular, and the food is incredible! A part from there not being mini fridges in the room which would have been ideal to have, there are amenities nearby for a quick fix (grocery store, restaurants on site, and staff happy to provide ice for the room that filled the cooler we used). The staff are so welcoming and kind, which made our stay even more lovely! The grounds are pristinely kept and while it’s excellently located to town, Quinta Bella is definitely a spot you want to stay and hang out for maximum relaxation each day.

Caution! Do NOT book Quinta Bella Huatulco. I booked a premium room at this hotel for one night starting tomorrow, Friday January 16, 2026. The highway/road to the hotel is closed and will be indefinitely. A mountain is being moved to build the highway. It’s open only from 4-7am or after 7pm. It’s a dangerous drive when it is open and very dark and dirty. I was advised not to travel for my own safety. I called the hotel 3 days in advance. They would not allow a cancellation without full penalty despite the situation and several days notice; meaning no refund whatsoever. I asked if I could move my reservation to a later date and again the hotel would not accommodate. It took 48 hours for the hotel to respond. I repeatedly asked to speak to the Hotel Manager and was repeatedly ignored. I have not cancelled my reservation in hopes the hotel will change its mind and do the right thing. I would expect this hotel, as in all hotels, should put the safety of their customers first. Or at least notify customers of a major issue, like disruption to the access road, upon booking. Very upset!

Update: the hotel reached out and said they have reviewed my request and will allow me to rebook in two days. That was the only option. Unfortunately the highway will not be open in two days and alternative arrangements cannot be made in that time frame. This offer is not only a reflection of poor customer service but shows no common sense whatsoever.

Our second time staying at the Quinta Bella. Beautiful, well kept grounds. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most of the staff could communicate well in English. The wifi was not the best in our room, but it was good in the restaurants and by the pools.

Very very good. Well staffed with good service. Beach and pools were premium, but the restaurants were what stood out, prices are normal, atmosphere, presentation and quality were better than anything in town. Location is great to get the Huatulco experience all with in walking distance.
Small hotel so lobby is not grand.

Poor customer service ie: no drinking water in room and promised that it would be delivered and never showed up. The room had a sewer smell which we ignored for the first 6 days. On day 7 we returned to our room after being out all day to workmen in our suite fixing the problem and therefore no access to our room we inquired at the front desk. we were then told to wait for a couple of hours and they would let us know when the work was done. After 3 hours we finally checked back and it was done, when asked about some sort of compensation we were promised conversation with the manager that never happened. We asked for 3 days and were continually put off with they are out right now they will call you etc. Finally at check out we asked for some resolution which ended in there is no compensation the manager says sorry is enough! Keep in mind the next day no Electricity for 7 hours= no A/C working which may sound fussy but at 34 degrees and room on 4th floor was very uncomfortable. We were promised a conversation about compensation but the management ignored our concerns. Disappointed with the management and lack of professionalism. Beach was amazing. Onsite restaurant were amazing and delicious. Many staff had poor English which was not a problem but there did not seem to be much interest in them using English. Beautiful facility amazing location but based on the lack of management showing ethical engagement to make the situation right i would not reccomend this hotel to others

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurants and an amazing beach. We didn’t even have time to try all the restaurants but the ones we did were excellent, particularly Aroma and the pizza place. The beach is beautiful and the pools are well maintained with excellent service.

This is a well kept property. Many English speakers and very attentive and helpful. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely beach. Can be strong waves but while visiting they were not anything a swimmer couldn’t manage. Food and drinks are expensive but food is very good. Stayed 5 days. Busy but within reason. Would stay again. Note the balcony pools are not hot tubs. They are cool off dip pools and rarely did I see anyone use. Had a mountain view room and was very quiet. I would choose that again bc the sea view facing rooms are likely to be much noisier. Quiet after 10pm. Lost a plastic key and had to pay $10 to replace it! Towels are great.

First time to Hualtulco. Hotel was amazing. Staff was always friendly and ready to serve you. Room was great bed was super comfy. Definitely coming back.

If I had to complain it would be to have small fridge to keep water and pop cold. Also to keep leftover food from outside restaurants. And a dresser.
